I received a gorgeous fuchsia orchid from this location earlier this week! The delivery rep was polite and friendly. They were communicative and called when they arrived at my location. I can tell the florist took their time with base design and my flowering buds look healthy. The delivery came with a care card as well. Thank you!
I received a LOVELY birthday bouquet from my friend via Bixby Knolls Flowers. It had gorgeous lilies, roses, gerbera daisies, alstroemeria, etc. The bouquet lasted ALMOST TWO WEEKS with me changing the water every 3 days. I was shocked and very pleased!! The lilies were so fragrant; my home smelled delicious!!! I was also impressed with Joe, who delivered my flowers. I get a lot of spam calls so I don't answer numbers I don't know. I also live in a gated building. Joe showed up at my door (which surprised me) and told me he tried to call first. :) He was so pleasant and friendly and represented the florist shop really well. When I called the manager, Anna, she was so sweet and thanked me for calling with positive feedback. I would HIGHLY recommend using this florist!
I usually order deliveries online, but I decided to call a florist that is local to a relative, in Long Beach, CA, and I'm so glad that I did! I had the pleasure of speaking with Anna. She was very polite, professional, but what stood out, was her way of listening to exactly what I wanted to order, and she communicated with a voice that told me she was happy to be of help! I wanted a care package for a family member, and although she could've just told me to visit the website and order online, instead she listened to what I wanted and customized a basket of goodies, including specific items, such as a succulent, tea and cookies, which was exactly what I wanted, along with a card, written with a personal message. If you're looking for a delivery with a personal touch, at a reasonable price, you will find it at Bixby Knolls Florist!
I made an order online for sympathy flowers to be delivered to my best friend today. Using the website was very easy to navigate and gives you the option to send card message and specific instructions to the delivery driver. The flower arrangement was beautiful and was delivered before noon the next day. I received an email confirming the flowers were delivered. However I did have 2 issues with my order: 1) Message on the card did not exactly match what I wrote in my order. My name was misspelled and there was a missing word in the message. This comes off as a rushed order and not professional. 2) Although the flowers were delivered, my friend never received a phone call scheduling the delivery. She lives in an apartment complex in Long Beach. I was worried that the flowers were going to be left outside her door/gate like a previous post had mentioned. Luckily her roommate was home that day. The reason I'm giving this company 4 stars is because I emailed the owner the issues with my order and she quickly responded with an apology and promise to double check future orders to avoid mistakes. She also said she would waive the delivery fee for a future order. Admitting to a mistake and trying to make up for it is good customer service. Buuut one thing I do want to mention is she spelled my name wrong AGAIN when she wrote me back in the email lol. I'll probably order just the flowers without a card message next time ha. EDIT: I changed my review to 5 stars because Rennie responded with an apology note and chocolates early the next day. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend this company!
It started with a phone call. If you're intuitive (basically a living and breathing human being) you can tell when the person on the other end of the phone is either genuinely happy, and/or loves what they do for a living. That's how I was received by Rennie, the florist and flower arranger. My family and I pulled funds together to surprise mom with a floral arrangement delivered on her birthday. We had a responsible family gathering in light of the present day quarantine (or it would have been a backyard boogie), and the arrangement was the heart at the table. Rennie doesn't know this- but our dad (who passed away almost 20 years ago) was a bird lover and our maternal grandmother loved Hawaii and grew Bird's of Paradise in her front yard. When I received the photo of the arrangement from Rennie in a text - it blew my mind - I felt the spirit of my ancestors in this arrangement (clearly, it looks like a bird). The notecard should have read: Love, from Heaven Rennie, you are Divine. We thank you for making mom smile on her 60-somethin' Birthday :D) Advice to anyone inquiring: Trust and allow the florist to do their thing, to create from Spirit. Recently, I ordered a small arrangement to get delivered from Bixby Knolls Flower (BKF). This was the 1st time using this shop. Within an hour of my order the show owner called me and told me that it was a small arrangement. She stated she would upgrade my order if I would do a review, but it had to be a Google review. I agreed, so she processed the order. In my comments section, I asked BKF to contact the recipient PRIOR to delivery to make sure they were home so that the flowers could be delivered inside the locked gate. BKF, sent me a photo of the flowers that were delivered. I called BKF to see if my recipient got them and they said yes. I asked again if the driver made contact and I was told the flowers were delivered. However, later that day, BKF called me several times to make sure my recipient got the flowers, and I couldn't understand why if they were delivered. I spoke to the recipient at the end of the week, and found out that BKF delivered the flowers, however, left them on the entrance to the building in front of the locked gate near the public sidewalk. WTH!!! I know now why BKF was contacting me about the delivery. Poor customer service. I used to deliver flowers and it was company policy for my shop to always get a signature. I tried to do a Google review, however, I'm not tech savvy. I told BKF that I would get a review completed as soon as I had a chance. They said ok. However, BKF has continued to send what I feel are threatening texts to me that if I don't do a review they will charge me for the upgrade and delivery fee. Funny thing though, I already paid a delivery fee when I placed the order. The arrangement was nice, however, the delivery sucked and BKF has lied about the delivery. I might use them in the future, however, due to them lying to me about the delivery not so much. I'm giving them a 3 star due to the arrangement, however, if they were truthful about the delivery i would prolly be going back.
Ordering flowers was so easy and quick. They were understanding with my request and just absolutely kind people- owner is so heartwarming, and lovely. Professional, patient and cheerful! Now the flowers... GORGEOUS and FRESH! My girlfriends and I pitched in to buy the "Fashionista Blooms" for our friend's birthday. They totally out did themselves and went over the top with the arrangement. It looked better than the picture on their website. Our birthday girl loved the flowers! They were delivered carefully, and before noon. PERFECT, just perfect! Bixby Knolls Flowers, I will not waste money elsewhere- you are my new go to flower shop. THANKS A MILLION!
Absolutely just blown away with the level of care and expertise the workers all had. I went in knowing what I wanted and they made several suggestions which became the best arrangement for my special occasion. The flowers were all fresh and smelled wonderfully. The shop was clean and had plenty of options to choose from. I am incredibly impressed and blown away. One of the best florist shops I've been to for sure! Will be coming back guaranteed.
NOTE: I am posting this review on my husband's account - Catherine I worked with Rennie. The experience at first seemed nice, but after more correspondence with Rennie, I felt manipulated and uncomfortable speaking with her over the phone and her texts became unprofessional. My first dialogue with her, I called from across the country for my godfather's funeral on the West Coast. Rennie was compassionate and empathetic towards my situation which I really appreciated. However, after I gave my budget of not wanting to spend no more than $200. She said that should make a flower arrangement for that price, but did not give any other options at lower price range. I wanted a custom arrangement and gave her the colors and idea I wanted. It would be super hero themed with red, yellow, and blue flowers. She said she had it covered. The day before the viewing, she text me a photo of the customized arrangement and said "Here you go. This is usually $300. I upgraded your arrangement in exchange for a fair review on Yelp." I felt as if she were trying to make it seem that she was trying to give me a deal when I did not ask for it. The first arrangement did not fit the vision that I had and asked her to redo (picture #1). I gave her my feedback and sent her a photo of something more in-lined with what I envisioned. Her texts became even more unprofessional after this making me feel guilty for not giving her more guidance and to let her design it (even though she is the professional flower designer?) and that she would have to do a completely new arrangement. I also asked for bigger blue flowers and she said "There is no round blue flowers except for painted carnations". The next day she sent a new a picture of the new arrangement (2 hrs before the service). It was better, but asked if she could make the yellow flowers smaller, her response "I am sold out and the funeral is in a few minutes..." (even though the viewing was not for two more hours!). Picture #2 below. I shared my thanks for her flexibility, but then she texted "Please post a review on Yelp. I hope I satisfied your needs. AND I ASSURE YOU, THIS IS A DOUBLE UPGRADE BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF ROSES THAT I USED IS ALREADY $150" (caps emphasis added). Again, I never asked for an upgrade and never asked for more roses as she new my budget and vision. I said I would do a Yelp review that day. During the virtual service I saw a different spray arrangement brought into the mass. I was taken a back! I did not want to jump to conclusion, so I decided to wait to see if the arrangement was truly delivered and to the right family so I did not post a review yet. The next day Rennie text me to post a review. I did not respond because I did not want to jump to conclusions without finding out if the arrangement was delivered. A week later, she texted me again! "Hi, would you be posting a review....?". I was shocked and felt that this was unprofessional to hound me for a review. It's now a couple of months later and I found out more information about the arrangement. It was delivered to the right place, however there were other sprays gifted to the family so another one was used for the Mass. My Godmother had sent a photo the next day and it did not look anything like the one Rennie sent me. It looked droopy and dead (Also why I waited on a review). I found out a couple of weeks later from my mother that they took flowers from the arrangement and used them in flower vases around the house. To keep to my word, this is why I am now giving a review. Although Rennie was empathetic to my situation and that she followed through in the end, however I was not thrilled with her lack of professionalism and if you do service with her, make sure to give examples of what you want.

Absolutely fantastic customer service. Extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered around noon and asked if she could deliver same day, in which she was happy to do so. My order was budgeted to about $80, but she upgraded my arrangement at no additional cost. And this was all in just one visit. We're long-time customers of this flower shop, but situations like this just continue to remind us why. Great prices, friendly service, and beautiful arrangements. read more

On the day before my wedding photo shoot, I was calling various flower shops in the area in order to gather my favorite flowers. A family member was going to create my wedding bouquet. After various shops confirmed they did not have what I was looking for, Bixby Knolls Flowers, came to the rescue. With an array of variety, they were able to ensure they had all the flowers I wanted, and more! Not only that, but then proceeded to go as far as making me a wedding bouquet, THE DAY BEFORE I NEEDED IT. Thank you so much for being so helpful, patient and encouraging with a last minute request. And for the amazing bouquet you created. It's still looking as fresh and vibrant as when I received it, two days later. Gorgeous creation. They definitely have gained a life long customer. read more

I ordered the Magical Life Bouquet (premium size) for my dear friend. The attention to detail and responsiveness of Bixby Knolls Florist is fabulous; I am so glad that their delivery territory is extensive. Customer service is their top priority along with their spectacular flower arrangements. All the flowers are gorgeous and so fresh; totally the best of the best. For my Gram Gram's Birthday, my brothers and I decided to order flowers from her FAVORITE flower shop. The three of us don't live near our Gram Gram so we were unable to see the flowers in person. There were SO MANY beautiful arrangements to choose from online!!! I finally decided, placed my order, and immediately received a call from Rennie confirming the arrangement and making sure any changes or additions would be okay. Rennie spoke so highly of my Gram Gram and it made me so happy and confident! I was treated so well and she made sure the delivery was made more than on time. After the flowers were delivered, my family members sent me photos of my Gram Gram with the biggest smile on her face. My husband got me flowers for Valentine's Day. You know when you buy roses and after a couple days the bloom head have bowed and the greenery is not as green. The picture I have attached was taken week after I received my holiday bouquet. No fallen rose heads. The lilies are still opening. The bouquet still smells lovely. Bixby Knolls Flowers do great work! I still love my flowers, days later! read more

Rennie at Bixby Knolls Florist is absolutely amazing. I ordered and arrangement online and she called to ask if she could enhance it to make it looks even better. She took the time to make an arrangement for a friend who's Mother just passed away look exactly as I wanted it too. It was my mom's 94th birthday, I needed same day delivery and my usual florist was not available which was a huge disappointment. I called around to a few local places an no one could make it happen, I almost gave up. I'm from out of state so going with someone I have never done business with felt like a risk but I'm so GLAD I took the risk with Bixby Knolls Flowers. Renni exceeded my expectations by a long shot. She was extremely professional, quick to respond and made the entire experience easy and delightful. I just told her what I needed, what my budget was and she took it from there. Incredible. An HOUR later I received a phone call from a thrilled mom and a very enthusiastic sister. My sister said it was the most gorgeous flower arrangement she had ever seen and that she had found HER new florist! Even my wife, who is incredibly picky about these kinds of things was impressed! I ordered the Purple Expression bouquet online as a birthday present. The checkout was easy and seamless. The bouquet is absolutely stunning, it looks just as pretty as on the website if not even prettier. They contacted me to arrange some details and even added some extra flowers and a birthday balloon.
