Although parking is pretty scarce in this area, I was able to park nearby your residential street. The store is beautiful inside. Plants are all well kept and the art on the walls are vivid and gorgeous. They have an incredible selection! I don't have a lot of knowledge for plants, most of my plants in the past were purchased at farmers market or swap meet. I paid slightly under $70 for two plants. I thought that was expensive. I would still come back here for another plant and I would definitely recommend coming here, with the large selection of plants they have.

It's catered to hydroponics but you don't have to be into that style of growing to find this store useful. It's located in a random business park & the entrance is in the back. At first glance it doesn't seem like much but step inside & there's everything you need from netting to cloning gel. A big bag of the Fox Farm soil was $14. Such a steal ! Walk the yard, walk the greenhouses, walk across the street where there are bigger plants, bring a sun hat, bring boots or shoes that can get muddy, and have at it! You will undoubtedly load up your cart with many wonderful and luscious plants that are seriously, 1/4 the price of Home Depot and H& H nursery. You will seriously love this place. The fence did have lovely flowering vines and there were drought tolerant plants along the street, I was looking for a nursery and didn't connect my expectation to the actual business. It's more vintage than nursery. They have gobs of old things and old things holding plants. In all honesty, I was shocked at the limited plant offerings, they had a reasonable grouping of small succulents but I don't recall seeing normal nursery options. Rather scant selection of flowering plants and shrubs my mother in law picked up a wee succulent and the price was reasonable. A few items had prices. It was like a garage sale in that you had to ask about each item individually. I felt somewhat panicked at the chaotic layout and setting. I had a strong urge to leave. I'm sooo disappointed and will not return.

The reason why - and I have to point this out because the store is named Rooted - is most of the neon pothos did not look too healthy aside from one plant in a 6" pot (larger than what I was looking for). In fact, many of the plants were rather middling, with soil looking dry when most inventory are tropical houseplants. Was it the heat at the time I visited or negligence? I'm not sure, but even with seemingly fair prices as plant shops go (4" philodendron Brazil was $12), it's harder to buy a plant that looks sickly. In addition to plants, Rooted also carries housewares and refills for shampoo, body wash, etc. I can't speak to the prices because I have a similar store within walking distance that I typically bring my dispensers to.
