i've been coming here for years, i love this place she always has the cutest things, the owner is very helpful, and fair prices!

I brought my daughter to shop for crystals. And I ended up buying a few crystals for myself, jewelry, a Buddha statue and a gift for my bff. My daughter also found crystals that she was looking for. It was our first time shopping here and we were impressed with how neatly organized all their displays were set up. Although the shop is small, it is very inviting and we enjoyed our shopping experience. The staff is also very welcoming and helpful. Their prices are reasonable and they also have a table with discounted items. They also offer healing services. read more

My new favorite crystal shop! Today was my second time coming to this location. Owner is extremely helpful, kind, and has such great energy. I found everything I was looking for and more. I found and evil eye bracelet that was simply perfect. I wanted to get another one for my significant other but there was only one on the floor. I asked the owner if there was anymore in the back and she said they were handmade so she would have to make it. YOU GUYS, she made it while I was at the store! I will continue coming here moving forward. Highly recommend read more

I was desperately needing some sage to cleanse a house. Called Solar Lotus and they as told they were closed but still asked what I was looking for. I told her I need sage she then told me she will help me out even though they were closed. Drove over and she walked right out and handed me the sage and I paid her. I really appreciate her taking the time to make an exception for me to obtain the sage. I appreciate the customer service and will definitely be back. read more

Is hidden gem is a great little shop. Has a great selection of crystals and other related spiritual stuff. They also have readings and I believe classes. Parking is very limited also this place seems to get very busy. I've only been to a hand full of times. Mostly right before opening. Recently learning since this pandemic hit that I am an empath. I have to protect my energy field. So as of late I've been to these types of shops a lot more often. Check it out whenever your in Downey after visiting Porto's or any other hot spot off Downey Ave. this awesome spot is on myrtle between 2nd and 3rd. read more

I am a couple years late on this review but this place is a gem in the heart of Downey. I used to come here when I was feeling really down and I would leave feeling so much better! The owners really interact and try to connect with their customers, they always sensed when I wasn't feeling 100% and would give me free mini tarot readings and healings when I was paying for my items. The people at Solar Lotus are so genuine and sweet, and their items are so affordable! read more

Would definitely recommend going here! They also bless your crystals and you which is so awesome. I love this crystal shop! read more

ANGELA Startling was so on point. She gave me information about my dad who passed away this past thanksgiving holiday season. The messages she gave were very healing. So much pain and feelings of guilt were lifted off my heart and mind. Messages from my great grandmother, grandmother and my mom was also amazing and years of feeling unloved was finally a feeling of love. I know my family members are watching over me and protecting me. They even said my daughter would be pregnant before I knew it. To that very day, my daughter found out she was pregnant and waited until Mother's Day to announce it. What a wonderful surprise. They did say it was going to be a girl... will keep you posted as soon as we find out. Thank you for the beautiful time you spent with me and the for tissue box. Big hug!!! read more

Walked in here on my way to yoga. The place has a nice selection of crystals. The lady was welcoming but annoyed when I would ask her questions about the crystals. They also offer workshops, readings and other healing services. This lil place is a gem. I've also gone to a workshop here with Cynthia and it was a delight to know her and receive guidance on how to grow mediumship if it is of interest for you. Parking is limited but also available on the street. read more

I was looking for a place to get a chakra cleaning, and I came across Solar Lotus. I absolutely love coming here now! This place is full of just positive energy. The staff here are so welcoming, and very friendly. I have purchased several necklaces to help with my thyroid which I find to be helpful. I have also taken the develop your intuition course, which I enjoyed and learned a lot from. I also met with Angela the psychic medium who was so nice, and allowed me to hear from family who has passed on. This place is filled with awesome energy and wonderful people, I definitely recommend Solar Lotus! read more

I give it a 3 because their crystals/incense holders and other products are very nice & for a reasonable price, also good variety. However there was a really hostile lady at the register, she was short, had short hair and had prescription glasses on, she made me and my family feel very unwelcome during our visit. Her eyes were on us our entire time we shopped and she continued to look at us like we were idiots when asking normal questions about certain smudges. A simple smile could have changed the mood that she gave us our entire visit. Ugly feeling going in & leaving & and I'm sure she knows the energy she is giving off. read more

Went in for my first Chakra Healing after an exhausting Week at work and left Solar Lotus feeling great and was smiling for no reason. Thank you Maria for all of your help..I'm so glad I went and I'm definitely coming back read more

My experience with Angela Cook psychic medium and spiritual advisor was amazing me and my son went to go visit her to help us out and communicate with a loved one that passed away closer 12 years ago she was able to help us understand and guide us. Me and my son feel better after his connection with his dad he feels less restless and his mind is more at peace. During our reading we felt warm we felt happy, joy because Angela was able to deliver to us happy news. After our reading and spiritual guidance by her I felt less worry and more positive I truly highly recommend Angela for any worry stress or questions that you might have regards to a loved one or guidance. Please visit solar Lotus and request her you will walk out feeling relieved and happy! read more

off the bat i had a very bad experience with one of the cashiers very rude, i was looking around the shop for about 5min gathering a few items that i was going to purchase i asked her nicely if i could put my items in the counter she told me no that they had baskets at the front, so i went to the front grabbed one and continued shopping not even 2min later another lady asked her the same question and with no hesitation says yes? i ignored it and continued shopping as i was going to checkout the item the crystals were labeled to 5$-7$ she said the items were marked wrong and priced them a much higher price i was very confused as i was going to pay for them she told me they didn't accept the card i was using even though i used the same card about a month ago never shopping here, don't waste your money read more

Nice shop - lots of gems to choose from, books, incense, candles, sprays, pretty jewelry and interesting workshops. Christina is very kind, considerate and intuitive but they've upped the prices on just about everything and jam way too many people into the south baths... it's gotten slightly "commercial" hmm. read more

After weeks of feeling sad, uncertain and in need of direction I decided to schedule a reading with Medium Angela Cook. This was by far the best reading ever! My loved ones came through true to their personality and the messages I received were exactly what I needed to hear. Angela said things that only I and my loved ones would know. She mentioned things from the times we shared while they lived and things that I'm going through proving that they can see me and are with me. My loved ones are still around me and they knew exactly what I am going through now. Angela knew things through them. I cried, I laughed and I didn't want the session to end. I felt so loved and I know I'm never alone. I left the reading feeling lighter and most importantly at peace and happy. I would definitely recommend a reading with Angela, she's the real deal! I am talking the messages received and moving forward. I will definitely schedule another session with her in the near future. read more
