This is usually not the Old Navy that i frequent but if I need to make returns I do it here since it is closest to me. The workers here have always been nice and they keep the dressing rooms fairly clean. The store itself is actually clean and very well maintained. The one reason I don't come to this one as often is because for it being a pretty big store this location seems to always be low on stock. I'm not sure if its because its right next to the mall so its just busy or they just get low quantities of sized but I always have to end up just ordering the items online. $5 polos! I've never been to an Old Navy. Even when the sole Cerritos location was at the Cerritos Towne Center for all those many years. But, a deal is a deal. So, when I received notification of $5 polos at the current, new Cerritos location, I had to drop by. Walking in, I enjoyed the layout. The men's section had quick change fitting rooms, with only a curtain for privacy. I found these practical to use, saving lots of time. Back to the $5 polos, they are soft-washed, which means they are light & soft to the touch. I'm not a fan of polos that feel like I'm wearing a towel. Add to that the price, and I ended up leaving with three of those suckers. Service was good. The line was a bit long, but kept moving on this busy sale day. Parking is at Plaza 183, across from Los Cerritos Center. Old Navy is located adjacent to Noypitz. How do you do, Old Navy? I saw quite a few things I liked, and with the various promotions going on on a regular basis, I can see myself dropping by more often than not. Anytime I have called and asked about my order that I did not receive a confirmation from the ladies on the phone get annoyed and you can hear it in their voice. I've called twice about my same order and both times the ladies cut me off as I was speaking to them and we're rude. This Old Navy is in a large outdoor shopping center. I like that there is ample parking. The store is usually kept pretty clean, it was a bit disorderly during the holidays but thats totally understandable. They are also pretty well stocked. Each store is different depending on the demographic. True story. This location has a lot of smaller sizes in stock. It's hard to find anything size 10 or larger in clothes. They're normally out. I noticed that they seem to be understaffed. The store is in disarray and clothes just thrown on the display tables. I was exchanging some clothes I bought for my daughter and the selection was limited. They didn't have the same shorts that I purchased in El Segundo the previous week. The cashier at front also made a comment to my paper bag and asked where I got it. I said it was from another store. It was a weird conversation about how they don't give those bags there unless it's an online purchase. I don't know. Overall the location is in a busy shopping strip. Could be covid not sure but I've been in this one before and their customer service is always lacking. The first time it was to pick up an online order. I was standing in line and the girl must have looked up at me AND walked past me twice. Nothing. Finally after 5 min another girl comes and says she'll be with us in a min after waiting for 10 and took another 2 ppl to be in line with me. Second time was some idiot cashier who can't find my order after I just told him the ca d her had it and put it aside bc I picked out a diff size. It was literally next to him and he's giving me a condescending attitude as if I didn't pay. Then as I'm returning the items I picked up I asked what happens to the discount I applied to my online order so I could use the same discount to the new in store purchase I was making since I'm returning the items I originally used my bonus bucks and discount for and he says no that once I use them up they're gone. So what i thought would turn out to be an equal sale turned out to be $6 more of what I would have saved with that discount and my bonus bucks. I don't get why he couldn't just apply it? I was in store around 4:15p Saturday 10/19/19 and had a return. The line was long and it was only 2 cashiers. I was next in line and all of a sudden she gets off register and mumbles "someone is coming." No one never came to relieve her and the only cashier left was held up with a problem with customers credit card. Mind you there was a long line, which began to accumulate. I ordered online 4 Nutcracker pajamas for my family (10 people in total) for our traditional pajama Christmas Eve. I got the email that if any of the items are not in stock I would get an email (this was on Saturday). I checked my email on Sunday night and to my surprise I didn't receive anything so I called in on Monday. The lady that answered the phone was not rude but seemed like she really didn't want to be there. I told her that I ordered online and hadn't received an email that it was ready for pick up. She checked and said that everything was ready for pick up. I asked her TWICE if all my items which were 4 pairs were in the bag. She said yes whatever you ordered online is what is in here. I asked her one more time and she said "yes whatever you ordered online is in the bag". When I get down there, I am given a bag with only 2 sets of pajamas. I asked what happened to the other two and the "assistant manager" said oh we don't have them in stock. I said well why wasn't I notified that it wasn't in stock like I was told in the email and he said that the email system was down. Then went to ask him then why didn't the lady that I spoke with yesterday tell me that, of course he didn't have an answer. I asked well then where is my money from the return and he said "oh you'll get it sometime" REALLY, sometime???? Your "assistant manager" is beyond rude and really didn't care about the customer. I am not a big fan of shopping for clothes for myself and to be honest, I absolutely dread it. My experience was horrible. I am never coming to this old navy again, and I love old navy. I love the deals but the employees here were super unprofessional and inconsistent. I was given false information about old navy cash. I am a mom on a budget and I don't appreciate being jerked around by the employees. I just felt like they could have communicated better with me and not given me such a hard time. After all, I was told by one of their employees I could come back with my receipt and old navy cash to be credited on my card the difference. This was my first time coming to the Cerritos store. Typically I go to the outlet due to it being near my house. But today at the register I had the most kind girl named Yvonne to ring me up! She had a smile and asked about my day, had baby talk with my son which was adorable. My mom was with me and she communicated to both of us in Spanish. and she helped my mom get my old navy credit card even though she wasn't even the one making her purchase lol!!!! and she was super patient because I had a big buy of about 800$!!!!! Wow! This store was a disaster! I paid a visit on a weekday afternoon specifically to purchase some high waist Rockstar jeans. When I found the table, however, it was quite a mess; a big mess actually. I asked for assistance. The Manager on duty (funky colored hair) indicated she'd be right over to help but got side-tracked at the register. Meanwhile, I started browsing in nearby racks. Eventually I made by way to the back of the store where I picked up some toddler girl stuff. Where has this manager gone? I went back to the rockstar display and found that the manager was now on a register while there weren't any employees assisting customers on the seeking floor. Other customers throughout the store were commenting on the lack of service and the disorganization of the store. It was clear at this point that I wasn't going to get any assistance soon, so I ventured over to the boys area and selected a few pairs of jeans for my son to try on. After all, one cannot beat the price of the kids' denim 2/$30 is always a spectacular deal. With jeans in hands we went over to the fitting rooms in the middle of the store. Ugh!!! If the store wasn't already bad enough, you should have seen the piles and piles of unorganized mess that was in these rooms. None of their fitting rooms were clean nor empty - yikes! This is an opportunity of theft just waiting to be taken advantage of. Anyway, I cleared a room out enough for my son so that he could try on some jeans. We made our selections and headed to the front. We were in that store way longer than we wanted to be; especially considering how extremely messy it was. It was not a pleasant shopping experience at all. And to top it off, I ended up not even buying myself a single thing. Help never arrived; nor did the manager ever apologize for not having helped. She just completely forgot. Honestly, she wasn't that busy, she didn't seemed stressed out...I would have been if I were the manager of the store. I wish I would have taken more pictures but take my word for it, it was horribly and frantically MESSY!!!!! I was happy that Old Navy had finally returned to Cerritos, but I can't say I'll be shopping here much fun the stores condition doesn't improve. I can't shop this way. And no, it's not the clientele....take a look at the neighboring stores.....they look nothing like this Old Navy.
