A lot of the clothes are really similar to each other and the fabric quality is definitely cheap. I didn't interact with anyone and the place seemed pretty organized. Omg had a horrible experience this morning and when I come here to write my review I see someone with almost the exact experience Just 3 hours before which is more than likely the same lady which seemed to be the owner. As like the many other clothing stores in the mall - fitting rooms are open and available. Nope not this business. I had all my selections picked out and after standing near the back waiting for someone to help me get a fitting room, a lady came with coffee in her hands (maybe starting her shift) so I asked her if I could use the fitting room and she pulls this metal rack which has a sign saying the fitting room is closed. She then told me their exchange policy in which I then asked if I can hang all the clothes to see which ones I was going to get. She said yes so I hung the clothes and was picking out the ones I was going to purchase. As I was picking the clothes I asked the older lady if it was exchange only and no refunds. She yelled at me telling me I can't put my clothes on the rack although she heard my conversation that I had with the other employee. I told her the reason I had it there and after I pick out what I was purchasing I'll put it at another location. She comes closer and yells at me again telling me to move the clothes. That's when I had enough. I put the 7+ items I was going to purchase on top of one of her tables and told her she can't speak to people this way. As I was walking away she angrily says something in her language. I had to turn back and let her know that I would've supported her business if: 1: There was a fitting room 2: There should be a return policy since they didn't offer a fitting room 3. I came in to buy pants. I wanted to try them on but they didn't have any fitting rooms - looked like they used to have them but some stuff was getting moved around back there. I was told by Loan that "we don't have fitting rooms but we are doing two week returns". It sounded like because you couldn't try things on right now, they were giving you the chance to return it later. So I bought the pants thinking I could return them. I went to another store, went into their fitting room to try on some stuff, and I thought why not try on the pants I got from Q so I can return them while I'm here? I try them on and they are so thin and cheaply made that I want to return them. I come back to the same cashier, Loan, and she said "want to exchange them?" And I reminded her she said "returns" and of course she argued that she said exchange. I'm a teacher and I'm very particular about listening closely to instructions or any kind of explanation - I know for sure she said "returns." Had she said "exchange" I would not have bought them without being able to try them on. I was specifically asking about that policy so of course I was listening closely to what she was saying so I could find out the answer to my question. Of course she argued with me that she did not say "return" and then I was stuck with needing to pick something else out. I wanted to argue more but I had my baby with me and he was wanting to leave. I did the exchange right away - picked out a crappy blazer cuz that's all they had - in case next time I came, she lies and says no exchanges - who knows? My friend and I were there shopping with my granddaughter and her friend and one of the employees accused one of the girls of stealing an anklet. My granddaughter (age 12) bought 3 ankles 1 for each of her friends and herself. When the employee accused the girls my granddaughter showed her the receipt and said I just bought these from you. I thought maybe my experience here was isolated but based in what I'm reading, this store has had serious issues for a while, mainly in customer service just like I experienced today Monday May 1 , 5pm... First off, the clothes here are cheap in price, not sure why you need to follow people around pretending to clean and organize so you can watch them. I sat down while my girls picked out items and I watched one employee in particular wearing red furry vans following everyone around, including my girls. Ridiculous, trust me, nobody is gonna wanna steal from here so find something else to do. My main gripe was the cashier, she was wearing a see through black top with no undershirt, tacky makeup, fake eyelashes and gaudy looking as heck..well, she was extremely rude to us, I caught onto it immediately but tried to overlook it. She had an attitude with us from the moment we were in line. No eye contact, smacking her gum loudly with her mouth open wide and just looked miserable as heck being there. I believe customer service is a great asset to have and people love it. I myself do look forward to patronizing an establishment where the environment and general atmosphere is good and friendly, makes me wanna go back even if the item I am purchasing is budget priced. Most items here are priced in the ten dollar range. Though, I did spend 120 total. Normally I don't care cause we all have our days but this chic has some serious issues. Wow I should have checked reviews before buying from here. I bought a gift for my friend's bridal shower here. I asked about their return policy before purchasing two items, and was told one item was not returnable, and the other item was exchange only. I decided to purchase both, and asked for a gift receipt. The lady acknowledged, rang me up, and then didn't give me a gift receipt. I asked again, and she then said they don't do gift receipts... would have been nice to know before you charged me. I clarified again that one item was final sale, and the other item was exchangeable. Fast forward two weeks later... I went back with my friend to exchange the exchange only item. We shop for something to exchange, and then head over to the register. When we get to the front, the lady was very rude and said the item was final sale. This was the same lady I had spoken to when I bought it and clarified that the item was exchangeable. She was very adamant that I was wrong and she was right, and even if I was right, the exchange policy is only 14 days, and it was 16 days since I bought the item. I came to exchange an item I bought at a different store when I was out of town, the receipt did not state the item was final sale, and it was between the 2 week time frame for exchanges, but the manager still refused to do so. She was extremely rude, telling me to drive 2 hours to exchange the item at the Fashion Q I bought it from. I had never felt so disrespected. I ended up calling the store I bought it from, in Chula Vista, and they were so helpful and nice about the situation! They called her and told her she had to accept my exchange because it was store policy. They also encouraged me to report her and apologized for the situation. The clothes quality is comparable to Forever 21 & my dresses are holding up nicely after several washes. I've bought several sunglasses here and cosmetics. I bought a sweater at the Downey store and when I came home I realized that they forgot to remove the alarm! Today i was in Los Cerritos and I brougt it with me. I found another item that i liked better in this store but they refused to exchange it because the Downey store had given me a change receipt instead of a real receipt. I went in the store to return something and they did not even give me a reason why I cant return my clothes but the lady kept saying "im not issuing you a return" I had my receipt and the dress had the tag on and I had bought the dress ONLY 1 WEEK AGO, I never even wore it...but the lady kept refusing my return. I called my bank, explained-disputed it. All dresses are final sale for Cerritos Fashion Q but I wanted to exchange a dress so I asked kindly, and the manager allowed it....Employees are just human as you and me and they deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.
