After having two very negative experiences with Sephora, I was sent a gift card and had initially decided that I would no longer return. However, I chose to give them one final opportunity, and I am truly glad that I did. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by a representative named Angel, who was incredibly kind and attentive. He asked if I needed assistance and guided me to the appropriate department. When my needs exceeded his scope, he seamlessly introduced me to another representative, Don, who was equally delightful and extremely helpful. With her assistance, I was able to find everything I needed within five minutes, which I greatly appreciated. While I was being helped, my mother was waiting and initially seated in a high chair. Another associate, whose name I unfortunately did not catch, thoughtfully brought her a lower, more comfortable chair after noticing that she is a cancer patient. This act of kindness meant more than words can express. She also took the time to speak with my mother, greet my newborn, and ensure that both of them were comfortable during the short time I was receiving assistance. At checkout, Destiny provided exceptional service. She thoroughly explained my reward points, informed me of my free gift, ensured I understood how to use my points, and even alerted me that they were about to expire. She guided me through what I could purchase and made sure I felt confident in my selections. This experience was a complete turnaround from my previous visits. Whether it is new staff or simply these outstanding individuals, the level of service was truly exceptional. Because of them, I will absolutely be returning and hope to encounter the same team again. Amazing experience here! I know a lot of people don't like when employees ask if they need help, but at a makeup/skincare/hair care/perfume mega-store like this, I am not safe on my own to browse around, haha. The employees are very knowledgeable and it shows w how they recommend excellent products to your specific needs. Sabrina helped me out in literally 5 minutes (this is a compliment) w finding the most perfect full coverage solution for my horrible acne. I initially asked another employee "what's the best full coverage and super easy to use bb cream or something I can just quickly put on my face?" & she suggested a product by Make Up For Ever, & then saw Sabrina & talked about it w her. Sabrina confirmed that I just wanted something super easy to put on my face quickly, so she actually introduced me to the Make Up For Ever 'HD Skin Matte Velvet' 24hr 'undetectable blurring powder foundation.' Ummmmmm, didn't know such a thing existed?! She tested a patch on me but it was too light in colour, however I could see that it covered my acne. She then colour matched me by just selecting another shade & put it on another acne-heavy spot, & I was in awe.....!!!!! I only expected to try a product & then buy it later, but I have social events starting just a day from now so I figured the purchase was an immediate-need situation. I'm SO happy with it. I also purchased the Sephora brand cream lip stain in '80- Honeymoon' bc these lip stains are sooooooo transfer-resistant. So much so that I had created swatches on my hand to see which colour I wanted to test, & I couldn't get it off w the blue liquid they have for makeup remover that usually works. Another employee I didn't get the name of found an oil-based makeup remover for me to get the swatches off my hand & they came off immediately. So if I needed makeup remover that would be the perfect product. The employees, again, are very well trained in makeup & its relatives. I also bought the Sephora brand outrageous volume plump effect in 08- 'sparkling dawn.' It looks stunning on top of the lip colour I got! I actually tried a lip colour by Dior on top of it later & it was literally an exact colour match bc no colour changed -- so Sephora's products are the much less expensive version of higher end products. & it's so so so much fun to test all the perfumes, which are categorized as u can see in my photographs by designer & then scent profile like "warm florals," "powdery florals," etc. Luv Sephora 4ever. What is with the air duct ventilation things all over the store? Tell me there's something toxic in the air without telling me there's something toxic in the air. I'm like running into these throughout the store and it's stuffy and humid at the same time. Not sure if they're under construction or this is it. Employees are kind of meh, line isn't as long as it used to be and it feels outdated in there. Workers here were really rude and unhelpful. There were at least three people standing around doing nothing. My friend and I were color matching for Dior concealer by ourselves. No one asked to help us until 15 min or more later and we were in a hurry. We both asked someone to help but they probably forgot or didn't care. First terrible Sephora experience. Very disappointed. Usually there's good and helpful workers but this location is terrible. There was a Hispanic lady that gave us attitude and asked if we needed help but she didn't seem like she actually wanted to help. My friend expressed that no one was helping us and we were already close to finishing matching our concealers by ourselves. I was recently color matched by Leslie and she was amazing! She helped me choose the perfect shade for the Haus Labs foundation that I wanted to try. She used her device to figure out the shade range and was able to find the shade that blended perfectly with my skin. Amber helped me out getting a fragrance I was looking for. Too bad this location is not as big as South Coast or the Groove. It does have a great variety if brands/products and the customer service is quite nice/knowledgeable/helpful. Now the only reason I'm usually in this store is to accompany my wife but I cant lie if I didn't say I do venture off to look at the colognes. Its a pretty small store and during busy hours its like walking through a crowded festival. There is no room to breathe. Now the lines, forget about it even worse. What boggles my mind is that even with long lines there is only ever 1 or 2 cashiers working so the line can take forever. One good thing is if you see a worker with the little device and are paying card they will ring you up, so be sure to ask them if you can pay with them. I have not dealt with many workers here but for the most part they all seemed nice and helpful. Just be prepared if you are coming here to wait in long lines. Just do what we do, have me wait in line while the wife gets what she needs. That's what we call teamwork. read more

I came in here, looking for a number of different items. One of the things that my daughter really wanted was a new lip gloss for herself. One of very sweet associates at the store led my daughter to the two-faced Brand lip gloss area. She helped her Just watch different colors and things on her hand. I believe she even was able to allow her to test one of them on herself. She went ahead and did that and my daughter came back to me claiming about how she found the perfect shade of lipgloss. That was everything that day. The associate who helped her was not only very sweet, but she's very patient with my daughter. My daughter is still a young little one, but like any girl, she wants to feel pretty and cute. So, What harm could a lipgloss really do? I was able to find the items that I was looking for as well as consult with different associates throughout the store. I really like that they didn't hound me for any reason. I just had an overall very pleasant experience here. The one thing that is kind of a pain is how there are so many people inside of the store and the store feels like such a small space. read more

I have had my facial waxing done here several times this time was the worst-two separate beauty stylists failed to do their job. I was there for a lip wax. Both of them failed to wax my lip properly-my lip pairs are still there they're ruined. They look worse than before. The manager was rude to me. I had already paid online for the service. The manager was not even sure if one of the beauty stylists had their license. The two beauty stylist were named Danielle and Erika. Terrible service I felt unsafe the entire time-this is the first time this has happened before they have done way better jobs and I felt safe and I looked better. I feel terrible. They ruined my confidence. They wasted my time. The worst service I have ever experienced-I feel completely humiliated. They ruined my entire Christmas. None of them apologized-I am humiliated!! Gotta love Sephora! They have all the best products in the beauty industry. Well maybe not all, but a good amount! They sell so many great brands that other places don't! I love going to Ulta for makeup and skincare, but Sephora sells brands that Ulta doesn't. Sephora also gives you an annual birthday gift if you are an insider member. It's usually nothing big- but still fun to get a free mini of something for your birthday! My only complaint, is the long lines. Especially during the holidays. Came here for shade-matching because I needed foundation. Was told to wait by a mirror and someone would come help me, but I was standing around like an idiot for 25 minutes and no one came. Mind you, it was an off-time so there was hardly anyone needing help. Had to ask for help again myself from a different worker. The only thing that made my visit better was Jackie. She was very helpful and nice and helped me get what I needed, even giving some tips here and there, and answering my questions. I do think customer service needs to be worked on. Months ago I came for lipstick and one of the ladies who worked here made me feel like I'm better off looking for drugstore makeup. Yes I'm a beginner, but how else am I going to branch out if you don't help me figure it out.? I'm also trying myself. And even so, at least don't let your customers feel bad. Stopped in to get a product from the Ordinary. It wasn't on the shelf and I asked the associate if they had any in the back, which they did. This location is ALWAYS busy regardless of the time of day. If you don't see an item check with an associate. I also went in to claim my insider birthday gift and found out that effective June 1 you have to make a purchase of $25 or more to claim your gift. It was May so that didn't apply to me. I went to sephora to get my makeup done on 03/15/2025 for my little cousins quinceañera. Danielle H. was the makeup artist that glammed me up and she did amazing!! I loved my makeup look. My makeup stayed on all night long without having to retouch. All of the employees are super friendly and are helpful. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and was asked if I needed help. What definitely NEEDS improvement is this stores loss prevention. Me and my boyfriend went shopping and the Loss prevention guy literally said in front of us "I'm watching the couple" describing what we were wearing when we were in the store for more than 5 minutes! We had just arrived. When I went up to the man dressed in his uniform and asked for help he was really short and rude. I asked for a Mario pallet and he then said they didn't have any stock after saying thank you the guy rolled his eyes and walked away. I didn't appreciate the profiling, especially the rudeness. I was looking for a lip scrub of sorts as a birthday gift for my mom upon entering the store. I was immediately guided to the lip scrub section and they were able to answer all of my questions flawlessly! I needed more answers so I had asked this other employee, a gentlemen with a very kind demeanor, and he was more than willing to answer all of my questions. Then I was looking at lotions and I didn't see that there were examples. She came up to me talking really badly about how she couldn't open a lotion. I asked one of the beauty advisors if she can color match me for a concealer, she proceeds to say she can't but she would send someone over. I waited for about 5 minutes and no one came, I went looking for someone and they all said they would send a beauty advisor. Ten minutes go by and no one came to my assistance, as I was walking out there were a bunch of beauty advisors hanging out at the front laughing and talking but no one seemed to be available to help.
