Sanya discussed what I wanted in terms of the shape I desired. My eyebrows have been curly and problematic for years. I have been threading my eyebrows since I was 15. From waxing to lamination treatments, as you age, you have to remain consistent. I took a break from waxing and lamination treatments for the past 6 months, trying to achieve growth in sparse areas. Threading seems to be the most precise hair removal service for brows. Sanya was kind, gentle and checked in with me to make sure the shape was to my liking. We discussed goals and tinting for a thicker/ fuller look in thinning areas. I find this salon affordable and they are very nice women. Happy to have a new threading salon to call home.

I mentioned that I was letting my brows grow and only wanted a light cleanup, but they ended up making them way too thin and even took off a bit of skin between my brows. When you arrive you fill out paperwork with a few questions and they take your temperature. Do not forget your mask because they are required. The salon is split into two zones and the stylists have assigned teams that they work certain days with so if there is a COVID incident the chance of spread is minimal. They are still not serving drinks but blow drys are back! Alysha is the best stylist. I've been going to her for my cuts and colors since she was a blossom. You really can't go wrong with any of the stylists here though. They do a mentor program for new stylists, receive training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques, they love where they work and are passionate about what they do. I highly recommend Blo. I also wanted to comment about what they did during the shutdown. They gave away free hair color to existing clients, there was a suggested donation of $20 (or more) and the proceeds went to No Kid Hungry NC. How amazing is that? One last thing, bring cash for the tip. They have an ATM if you forget (or you can just do venmo).

The quotes printed, music playing, and smell tell you to relax and enjoy a wonderful experience! Previously, my waxing experience has been - get in and get out- quickly walking in, drop your pants, and get on with your day. The biggest thing for me was the precision, time, and heat of the wax. I have been burned before at a bug box waxer, and being a brown skinned beauty my skin is a bit more sensitive to burns and does not always heal nicely. Christine made my experience pleasant and relaxing. She took her time, there was no rush and no burns! Not only was my service a bit cheaper then the big box waxer the customer service was immaculate AND I left with a goody bag filled with loofah to exfoliate, a pen, snd even a mini ingrown hair serum. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Her nails last me well, and she's very dedicated to taking her time and making sure the quality is great. She's a true five star nail tech. Love Joanne, and she's the primary reason I go. The salon itself is nice, and the staff that checks me in and out has always been super kind and helpful. The also have A LOT OF COLOR OPTIONS! Many, many different things to consider; however do note that a lot of the more special color options have up upcharges of $10-25 dollars, such as chromes, cat eye, or certain other polishes. They are transparently noted however which I very much appreciate. The only thing I really dislike is if you pay with a card, they pass on the processing fee to the customer. I personally don't like it when businesses do this - as a business owner myself, I consider it the cost of doing business. I know CC fees add up, but I just personally find it really bothersome and this was not the case at the last nail place, or the place I went before that. However, they do have the option to pay in cash to get around the fee - so I've been trying to withdraw cash before going. They also have a rewards program which I always like for businesses I'll be investing in regularly, and my last place DIDNT have that, so it's a nice option. I'll take photos next time I go to update the review!

This review is negative solely because of a poor experience with the receptionist. The pedicure…read moreservice my friend and I received was excellent--our toes looked great! My friend, who has been a regular customer for a long time, invited me to join her for a pedicure. Before our appointment, I checked the salon's website and saw a promotion stating that when you bring in a new customer, both you and your guest receive 10% off. When we checked in, we showed the receptionist the promotion. She had me create a new account and told us to remind her at checkout so she could apply the discount. However, when it was time to pay, a different staff member was at the front desk. This person spoke in circles, telling us the previous receptionist was mistaken and that the 10% discount would only apply to our next visit. It's not about the money--it's the inconsistency and misleading advertisement that bothered us. Being told two different things by two different staff members left us feeling frustrated and distrustful of the business. Unfortunately, due to this poor customer service at the front desk, I won't be returning.

She was knowledgeable, funny, friendly, and efficient! I experienced the "rapid" tan and this gives you an automatic tan. You can shower (rinse with no soap) about 3 hours after. You then shower 12-24 hours later normally, without shaving. I waited for about 24 hours. I love that you can sleep without the tan getting on your sheets, especially considering ours are white. I got this for an event last weekend and am still loving it! I told her exactly what I wanted, although it was difficult as I had not had a spray tan in probably ten years! She somehow knew exactly what to do, and it was beautiful and natural looking. Almost 6 days later, still tan and beautiful. Me being me, I had plenty of questions. They responded quickly with many answers to ensure my tan would not be affected by what I wore, showering, moisturizers, etc. I highly recommend Tansformations. They have five stars for a reason! I already have the next tanning session booked for my sister and I, for my bachelorette next month! Can't wait!

We each had an attendant massage our arms and legs and feet, while we sat in very comfortable recliners. The attendants also used hot stones, which felt very nice. For the detox part we were hooked up to a machine and our feet placed in buckets of water for 30 minutes. We both kind of dozed off because we were so relaxed. I think next time I'd skip the detox and do more of the reflexology, and maybe add a pedicure! I wasn't sure what to expect but this was a really nice experience. I think it was great value for money too.
