I have been here 3 times for a pedicure. They do a good job on nails. Many nail salons in Cary can say the same thing. Their service is great and their prices are in line with the others. Where they excel is in kindness and thoughtfulness. I have never ever been treated better by a business. Words do not describe how thoughtful they are, all 3 of them. That would be useless if the gave a bad pedicure. They give an excellent pedicure and the kindness and thoutfulness was a bonus. I had a bad day. A cure for the type of bad day I was having was a pedicure and foot massage. The downside? I didn't feel like waiting long and didn't have an appointment anywhere. I stopped by Dreaming Nail and Spa, a place I've walked and driven by several times in the last few months, and they had an opening with no wait. This was a lucky find for me. There's nothing fancy about this place, it's simple and straightforward. You're offered a beverage when you sit down, an unexpected touch. The massage chairs are great, the staff friendly, and the pedicures, in various levels are outstanding: from the basic pedi to the top end with the mask and hot towels. I often judge a pedicure by the accompanying foot massage. Some places barely touch your foot and then there are places like this one -- that let you know you're getting a foot massage. It was perfect and I could barely walk (in a good way) it was so relaxing. Dreaming has the equipment sterilizing machines situated so that you can watch as they're re-sterilized just before they come to you. It's not the individually wrapped sets like some nail salons have, if that's important to you. The nail polish brands vary; mostly OPI but also some others. You can bring your own, if you're particular. The prices here are pretty consistent with other salons in the area and if you're looking for basic, and don't need all the bells and whistles, you probably won't be disappointed. read more

I managed to squeeze in as a walk in and they accepted my gel polish change, no problem. Amazing staff. They're friendly and very good at their profession. You can clearly see they take pride in their work. As I was getting my service done, I think they greeted everyone that walked in by name! Impressive! You can tell this is a spot where people come back too! When I'm in the area, I'll hopefully test my luck and maybe they'll fit me in as a walk in. Either way. I've been going to this shop for about 3 years after tiring of the so called high end nail salons who seem only interested in trying to get as much money from you as they can. I spotted them by accident and was a walk in. Turns out it was the owner, Anna, who was the person took care of me for fills and Vena for brow wax. Over the years, the same team of Anna and her husband and Vena have found the right mix of a friendly genuine relaxed atmosphere coupled with downright fast service! They now seem like family and many many other customers feel the same. Anna and Vena work so well together and it shows. My nails always look great and I routinely am asked who did my nails :). I stopped by here on a Wednesay in the afternoon. I was told I had to make an appointment because they couldn't accept walk ins at the time. So I made an appointment for 4:00pm later that day. I got a pedicure and manicure/fake nails. I was getting married that Friday. The pedicure was great! And 3 weeks later they still look great! A man did them, and he talked my ear off. He gave the best foot massage I have ever got! Now my nails are a different story! I was pretty upset with how they turned out. The man started my nails and a woman finished them. It cost $30 and they tried to get me to purchase the $50 ones but I only needed it for my wedding and don't plan on getting them filled again. I got white tips. They didn't cut my nails underneath, some of the tips are longer than others and you can see air bubbles throughout the nails. I'm not a smoker and for some reason they started to turn yellow. After a few days of getting it done they looked like it had been weeks of them growing out. It took,over 2 hours which I think is way to long to get my toes and nails done. All in all I would go back to get a pedicure but not my nails done. read more

The people here are kind, attentive, and consistent. Both manicures and pedicures have been excellent. The massage during the pedicure is the best! They don't rush but they don't waste time or keep you waiting either. The facility is not modern but is clean and comfortable and they always have soothing instrumental music playing. Very nice people here. I request Tony for my pedicures as my feet are extremely sensitive and he is very gentle. At my first visit last year, he was the first one available, so he did the pedicure. He was very careful and took extra time to ascertain how sensitive my feet are and respond accordingly, so because of that I just always request him, though I'm sure the ladies do a great job too. Also he can intuit the times when I feel talkative and times I just want to relax. The ladies do the brow waxing and I often get that service too. Since there are only 3 people, they do prefer you make an appointment. I have never had a problem getting in within 4 hours. read more

Worst pedicure experience ever. After 10 days, I had infections in both big toes. After three weeks, I was still suffering from ingrown toenails from too-short trimming. The man who gave the pedicure cut off the sides of both big toenails very deeply, so as they have grown out, it has been really painful. read more

I just went to here for the first time today. It was clean and I was offered a drink when I sat down. That is why it got 2 stars. It smelled of incense that gave me a head ache, music was horrible, they did not have an airbrush machine, the lady kept burning me with the drimmel tool, she only used 1 coat of polish and you can see through the color and despite me showing her a picture and telling her two times how I wanted them shaped, she did not get it right. read more

I would have to say I did not have the same experience as these other reviewers at all. I came strictly on the other reviews as I am new to the area and it may have been my standards are high but with how expensive it was I certainly expected them to be met. I went in for a shellac nail and a deluxe pedicure for two. I knew it was going down hill after they put gel instead of shellac when I paid for shellac. Toes turned out alright but it was extremely awkward conversation with the male nail tech, he was very opinionated in every thing controversial and would not stop taking. I hate to give this place a bad review because the staff was so pleasant, yet the quality suffers majorly. I got "tips with gel" which is exactly the same thing as acrylics with gel polish. I payed $45 with a $5 tip. I called this nail shop multiple times prior to the visit just to double double check that the prices were true and that I knew exactly the services that they provided. On the phone they told me that shellac manicure with tip is $35 yet when I visited them, they told me that they do not provide shellac manicure. So I decided to do the regular old tips with gel and was charged $45. When she began to build the acrylic powder on my nails, she was very precise and took her time which I appreciated. Yet when she started to paint my nails, she proceeded to paint them in a very dis-orderly fashion. My right hand is shiny and my left hand is matte. On my left, middle finger, the polish has come off and the acrylic nail is peaking through. I am very dissatisfied with my visit. And will most likely never come again. read more

They could not do enough for me and my mother. My nails last which for me is really important. I don't do the jells so this is a plus. The staff was extremely sweet and friendly! Vina did an amazing job, and she paid more attention to detail on my pedicure and gel manicure than anyone ever has! She also gave the longest and best foot/leg massage that I have ever received! Anna and her husband didn't work on me, but they still offered me beverages, made jokes, and thanked me for coming in.
