I had a good overall experience here while I'm temporarily in town. I really appreciated being able to view the service menu online ahead of time and how easy it was to book my appointment online. The prices also felt reasonable for the services offered. My biggest disappointment was the polish selection process. I was hoping to browse all of the OPI and DND colors, but instead I was handed a generic color book, which made it difficult to choose the shade I wanted. I also wasn't a huge fan of having my builder gel manicure started while I was still getting my pedicure. It felt a little awkward and unstable trying to do both at the same time, and I would have preferred to finish one service before starting the next. Overall, the salon was a solid option and met my needs while I'm away from home. It was a good experience, and I'd consider returning if I needed another appointment while in town. read more

I made an appointment with Tracy for a mani/pedi. I never saw Tracy. Kim had me sit in a pedi chair, full the tub with water and left me there to finish her lunch. Toni was free, Kim insisted on helping me. Long story short, I paid for the deluxe pedi, and Kim's service was a joke. She rushed through both my mani and pedi. After she finished, she left me sitting in the pedi chair and disappeared. My nails were still wet and I damaged 2 nails trying to get my credit card and Kim was visibly upset that I asked her to fix it read more

First visit. I made 3 manicure appointments for my daughters and I online. When we arrived, we were greeted but it took them a while to find our appointments. By the time they were able to confirm our appointments, it was figured out that all 3 of our technicians were busy/double-booked. It all worked out, because they ended up shifting clients around to accommodate us. Amy and Nina were great! They were kind, fun, and professional. Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience with May. She was a bit distracted by her "missing" equipment, so she LOUDLY verbalized being upset about that many, many, MANY times. I ended up agreeing to her upcharge suggestions (I booked a gel manicure...ended up with acrylic tips)...but the quality of her work wasn't the best and then she intentionally overcharged my services. I tipped them well, signed my receipt, and left out quickly so we could make it to our dinner reservation, so I didn't realize she overcharged me until we got home and took a closer look at my receipt. I called and spoke to Amy the next day...she confirmed that I was in fact overcharged and extended her apologies. She also offered to take the overcharged amount off my next service, if I choose to come back. I really appreciated the care Nina and Amy took with my daughters and I also appreciated Amy's service recovery. I may return to give them another try, but will opt not to book with May. read more

I called to schedule ManiPedi and told to come right down arriving at 10:03am. I was greeted by Kim who was sitting in a Pedi chair. She told me to sit beside her and a young man began running the water. As I made my way Kim instructed me to go back and grab 2 specific polish books. She was busy getting her own Pedicure by another employee! My Signature Deluxe pedicure was disappointing. Quick scrub of heel, quick rub of legs stopping several times to check her own pedi. She completes my polish and instructs me to the Mani seat while she disappears to the back. I carry my purse, water , shoes and fumble to pull out my seat. Kim completes my Gel Manicure with a drop of lotion which she dry rubs only to my hands. Kim disappears again and I attempt to get more lotion for my hands & forearms but the dispenser was completely Empty..when she returns I ask for lotion and she hands me a dispenser from another station and walks away to get hot towels. I was done with both "services" at 11:05 am but I had to ask to stay so my toes could dry. it was NOT acceptable "service" read more

Well... I don't really see how this place gets great reviews. I went to a recommended person (whom I will not name) from numerous yelp reviews. Maybe she had a bad day or She was just rushing me but she did a horrific job. When asked to correct she stated I could wait for someone else to fix it, which I did. But why have unskilled professional doing nails? I felt like I was at an overpriced nail salon that really doesnt do the best job. Also the price, ha! They must have that very high Cary rent to charge almost $50 for a gel manicure! The place is decently clean and the staff for the most part was nice! Also make sure youu make an appointment or else you might get yelled at! I will not be back, even if you paid me to come back, I won't! Wasted my money along with my time! I have been going to Tre Nails since it opened and I guess loyalty is NOT rewarded here. I came in for a pedicure as I always do and my lovely nail tech Cindy asked if I would like a manicure. Since my nails looked very bad I decided to take her up on her offer. When my pedicure was done the manager came over to me and said sorry but we have no time for you today. Even if that were true you NEVER turn away a loyal customer that basically helped build your business. I wouldn't even have minded to wait but that wasnt even an option for me. Just pay and get out of here! Is how it felt to me. Very rude. They didn't even set me up under the toe dryer for my feet to dry. On top of it, their prices went up ridiculously high during Covid to cover their costs of not seeing people for a while. They could have kept regulars at the normal rate to show appreciation but they really do not care. So many other options elsewhere that would appreciate my business. They got too big for their britches!! This RN and all my nursing friends will not be back to Tre Nails. So much for First Responders! Not the American way. read more

**Update, six days later: I am pretty disappointed. I've got multiple nails were the edges are chipping. This manicure should've lasted three weeks with minimal chipping but I've now had to file down or smooth out several chips in the polish. Changing from five stars to three stars. I was able to make an appointment with just one hour notice. I happened to be in the shopping center and had a couple of hours to kill. The salon is in a really great location and is a really clean and very relaxing place. Kent was great and did a fabulous job on my pedicure and my powder (aka S&S or "Dip and buff") nails! I live in Raleigh but this is definitely worth the drive! I'm new to the area and I may have found my nail place! read more

Best gel mani and pedi I have gotten in a long time! Back for a second 3 weeks later! Kaylynn gave me a great gel mani/pedi. Mani lasted 3 weeks (only getting done again because my nails grew, gel still looking good). Basic pedi includes so much and mani included a back massage. The first time we were there, it was a great experience. They sat us right away for our pedicures, but when it got to our manicure, we were waiting for a very long time. But the after result, they looked great. we went back another time and we had an awful experience. They take forever to do your nails two hours. They cut my finger, and laughed, but they were very apologetic about it. Then they cut my nails way too short than what I had asked for and just laughed at me like it was some kind of joke. He didn't even seem very fazed. I'm very disappointed and will not be returning. Not to mention his breath stunk. The atmosphere was also not very nice. No one talks to you either and it's just very awkward. Only a couple days later our nails are chipping. They put over four coats of dip and it looks very thick. as I was waiting there for almost 2 hours she didn't even put a basecoat on my nail, and they just looked unfinished. Came to Tre Nails following a negative experience at City Garden Nail Bar up the street. I had a simple gel removal, and was completed in under 35 minutes. While most of the polish was removed, I left with some remnants still on my nail - I wish a tad more time had been taken to ensure they were completely removed, but overall I appreciated someone taking me considering the rudeness at City Garden. When I got my first acrylics here, the lady doing my nails gave me all these tips about how to take care of them and just some important things that I had no clue about. i was extremely disappointed at the end, I went in for a pedicure, and the lady that helped me (her name is DEE) did an okay job trying to take out my in-grown toe nail, she didn't succeed my expectations or do anything out of the ordinary. In fact she was very cold and didn't say a single word through out the visit. As I was paying for the service, which was $28.00, i left her a tip that she apparently didn't appreciate, she crossed it out on the receipt and said "I don't want it, you can keep it!" I said "why not?" She didn't answer my question and turned around and walked away. What a way to treat your first time customers.... Definitely not going back, especially when I'm paying this much for a simple service, the least you would expect is for the employees to appreciate that their pay check happened because of you. read more

So, in complete honesty, I hadn't thought about coming all this way to Cary for a mani/pedi but after speaking with the owner and reading the reviews, I decided to check it out. I have trouble with directions. As solid as my GPS is, I often get lost driving around the massive strip malls in the Apex/Cary area. So if you're like me- Tre is in the same mall as the Whole Foods. Now, upon entering, I came right in, and rather than having me pick out my color for my pedicure, knowing I was getting a shellac manicure, they brought me the different shellac colors and told me they would get the corresponding pedicure color. HOW AWESOME IS THAT! a lot of places I spend time going back and forth trying to find the matching color (if there is no obvious brand/name match). After being given my diet coke and latest people magazine, it was time for me to relax in my massage chair. Pedicure was wonderful. Callus treatment was basic, but I really like when nail spas use the larger grater (sorry- gross I know). Really nice leg massage as well. I was offered another complementary diet coke for my manicure. My nail tech reinforced the tips of my nails before applying shellac which I really appreciated because the tips of my nails inevitably chip. They also have little place holder for your rings. Finally, my favorite part- shoulder and neck massage while my nails dry!!!! This is not expected every time at other nail salons down in nc- and it was a pleasure! WOW. What a wonderful salon!! The atmosphere is wonderful. The service is excellent and my pedi was top notch. I was treated with sincere care and respect. My tech was also fun and seemed genuinely interested in ME as her customer. I noticed they scrub out the pedi bowels and clean them down with a bleach solution too. The staff was very welcoming and knew me by name within minutes of introduction. Tre Nail is a very warm, professional and inviting place. Hung is the smiling manager and Kim was my nail tech.
