Paradise nail bar really came through for me last week! My girlfriend and I called them late as they were about to close. We were coming from a different nail salon which we walked out of because we felt so unwelcome. They were so kind and stayed open late for us. It was my birthday so we did spa pedicures with hot stone (amazing!) and gel manicures. All of the employees were so friendly, professional and accommodating. Not only did I have a surprise party waiting for me back at home it was also a surprise engagement party! Paradise really saved the day. I'm so thankful! Not terribly bad but I won't return. I was there the other day and this was first visit. I was in the area. My fingers were nipped not once, not twice but multiple times! I paid wayyyyyy to much money to be cut up and have a not so good experience. The paint job was so bad I went home and took it off and unfortunately will have to pay for another shop this weekend, I should have gone to in the first place to repaint my nails. The prices are cheaper else where but I get it they have to pay high rents in this area.... from now on I'll got where I can get a deluxe pedicure for $12 less and a basic manicure for $5 less. Worst pedicure I've ever had. My tech was either brand new or untrained (is that legal) or both. She was totally unfamiliar with the basic techniques of a pedi. She didn't know how to hold my feet when scrubbing. She didn't know how to clip nails or cuticles. She was very tentative. The leg and foot massage was at such a rapid pace and so violent that it was moving me in the chair. She kept dropping my foot and hitting it on the foot rest which the towel was only partially covering. In the end another girl came to do the polish and she was very chatty in a fake rehearsed way. The original tech spoke zero English. I'm very low maintenance and understanding. This was such a disappointment. I'll never come back and maybe it explains why I was the only person in the shop. Had a very good experience with my manicure. Went with my sister to get our nails done and both of us really enjoyed our time there. One of her nails has a tiny bump, but otherwise our nails both look nice. The employees were all super friendly and talkative and made us feel super welcome. Popped in this morning as I'm traveling from out of town (very clean!) and was able to be seen right away, my manicurist was Kim and she did a wonderful job- as I hadn't been to her salon previously she went through the different services offered- I ended up doing the gel with the chrome on top, having previously told her I like more subtle/nude nails she made sure the coloring was something I was happy with. Definitely recommend & will return when back their way. read more

The music was great, the First Lady who started my pedicure was super nice and did an amazing job. The lady who finished my pedicure and did my gel mani, started out nice but then was definitely rushing through. Now my nails are lumpy looking and she told me to go outside and throw the toe dividers away. Didn't appreciate the fact that I just sat in her chair to get my nails done and she tells me to go outside to throw something away....what doesn't make it better is the fact that I think it was the owner. Today was my first and last experience at Paradise Nail Bar. I had Kim as my nail technician. Although my manicure turned out alright, I had quite a few concerns. First, my tech did not use a sanitized packet. She took her cuticle trimmers out of a plastic container in her station. She wasn't friendly and quite often was looking out the window whiile she was trimming and or sanding. Although I heard her speak to another patron, her way of communicating with me was pointing towards whatever she wanted me to do. When I went to wash my hands the towels available to dry my hands were a dirty grey color instead of white. Overall, I my takeaway was that the salon was unsanitary and unfriendly. It was also the most expensive dip manicure I have had to date. I much preferred a different salon nearby. read more

Just got my first pedicure here and it was absolutely amazing! I was on crunch time because I had to get back to work but Lisa made sure to give me the best service in a timely fashion! I love that she was able to keep up conversation and was so kind and generous. She also seriously gives AMAZING foot/calf massages. 10/10 would recommend Lisa! When I first started going here; they did an excellent job. Now they rush through everything and one is constantly checking her phone and can't concentrate on doing her job. If you make an appointment; you will have to wait for an extended amount of time. I have not been very happy with the work done on my nails. I won't go back again. I am pretty disappointed in my service today. A co worker and I made appts for 1145am pedicures. The salon is near our office and we planned to utilize our lunch breaks. We showed up right on time and picked our colors. An employee started right away on my co worker, said someone would be right with me - but that didnt happen. My pedicure didnt start until 1205-1210 - a full 20-25 minutes after my appt time! While this would annoy me in general - it was extra frustrating since I was on my lunch break and needed to get back to the office! Upon completion, she asked me to sit and wait for them to dry. I told her I couldnt because the appt started late and I needed to go ASAP. She then put my sandals on and messed up the polish on my big toe - resulting in another 5 minute delay while she fixed that. No one really apologized - just kept being asked "how are things? did she do a good job? how is the color?" - and while my pedicure is great and I love the color - the real issue was the timing. I was finally told that "we will make it up to you next time" - but um, I don't think there will be a next time. Appointment times are made for a reason! read more

So far my first 2 visits have been great. It's clean and calming and the staff is very friendly and remembered me only after one visit. I've had both a pedicure and SNS and they've lasted over 2 weeks each time. The only negative is I think they are a little high on the price point, but sometimes it's worth it if your SNS can last a little longer. They do waxing and brow tinting too, which I may try down the road. read more

I wish I could give this establishment 0 stars. I came in for a fill-in and pedicure. They started my service and midway through asked if I could wait an hour to get my fill in because they overbooked. I do not live in the area so that wasn't/isn't possible. Additionally if they had expressed they were overbooked at the beginning of my service I would have gone elsewhere. I have never had such an unpleasant experience and I highly do not recommend anyone come to this establishment. My service was incomplete and now I've wasted 2 hours out of my day. Not to mention the ladies that had an appointment were left waiting. They completely overbooked and did not value their patrons time. Is there a negative rating?!? This was an especially bad experience because it included my daughter! We decided to look for a nail salon open today as the one that we preferred was closed. We were greeted promptly by the same woman that scheduled our appt. My daughter just needed a fill and I wanted gel tips. I stated from the beginning that I didn't wanted thick bulky nails. She showed me a customer's nails that were nice as the baseline for me to feel comfortable moving forward. From that moment, she was lightning quick and sloppy! Suddenly she's pressed for time and full of attitude. She only slowed down to listen when I'd move my hand from hers. My daughter had an equally bad experience with the young man doing hers. This is by far the worst experience I've had at an area nail salon. They charged me twice and then refused to refund my money. They told me to call 2 days later. I call and they tell me to come 2 days later. I come and the owner still refuses to refund my money. He claims they didn't charge twice and I have the proof they did. Unreal. Now I need to dispute with my credit card to get my money back. Such an awful experience. On top of e everything my nails look like crap and my daughter already had 1 break. Avoid this place. The place was ok but I have defiantly been to better. I brought my 4 year old gradaughter (she loves getting pampered) and a relative that came to visit from out of state. The women that took care of us were not friendly, they stayed talking between themselves as if we were just meat on a chair. Even my granddaughter was not impressed. My foot massage was good but my sister in laws and the baby's were "painful". We paid full price for my granddaughter and they finished her off so quick and skipped many steps. All closed toe shoes this wretched, frigid winter forced a quasi-emergency cheap, quick pedi on a Sunday. I remembered this place being renovated the last time I was in the adjacent bagel place and decided to give them a try. I'm quite spoiled by the pedi's I get in Briar Creek with actual recliners and a hands on, great chair massage, so I set my expectations on cleanliness (ain't nobody got time for some flesh eating fungus and a leg amputation!), the work performed, environment and ease of getting in and out. They do offer online scheduling which I feel is imperative in such a competitive industry - Let's face it, if you cannot find a walk-in mani/pedi/wax joint you probably can't find your way out of a wet paper sack - However, the interface did not provide live-time, same-day scheduling, forcing me to call & confirm I could get in without a wait. I could, so on in I went with my own polish. First and foremost, I was greeted in plain English by a gentleman who walked me to the chair and immediately began filling the bowl with water. Usually there is no such thing as too hot for me as these places tend to keep things a one-size-fits-all temp. We had a quick discussion on this and he set the temp to "sanitize via scald" (great, in my book!), double checked if I was OK with it in the process, handed me a services menu and asked what I'd like to drink. They have the standard offerings of tea, water, wine and soda. No chocolate dipped strawberries and champagne here: Remember, we're in for cheap and quick. On with the show. I ordered the mid-grade #3 pedi (apologies for not recalling the specific name) I'd pre-determined I wanted by pre-shopping on their website with lemongrass and *behold!* a wonderful lady by the name of Lien appeared with a cute arrangement of herbs, lotions and a glass dram of essential oil. She instantly began the standard routine of polish and cuticle removal. Part of this particular package included an exfoliating scrub, 10 minute massage and ultra-hydrating masque. ER.MUH.GAWSH. I have no idea what was in the herbal exfoliate stuff she had in a stainless steel ramekin and mixed with oils in front of me, nor do I know what lotions and potions were in her other ramekins BUT they were fantastic, and the knees-down massage far exceeded my expectations. If I'd had the time, I'd opted for another 10 minute add-on. Her polish job was one of the fastest I've ever had and one of the best. 10/10 would recommend Lien for a pedi. Now, for the negatives... *sigh* Yes, the place is clean and unless you are completely blind, you would have no issue seeing their sanitization procedures and the tools being removed from their sterile packets because this place is LIT. Holy crap is it ever bright. I gotta assume they get their lightbulbs from the same place gynecologists get ONE bulb for their overhead exam light at, and this place has several of them. On a bright note (*zing!*), those spotlights have to be energy efficient because they darn sure did not give off any heat, which brings me to the next drawback: The place was a little chilly. 72 is standard room temp...I'd say this was around 68. Now, in all fairness, these two aspects are incredibly minor and trivial and given that heckanice massage by Lien, I could've easily fallen asleep if not for my biggest complaint: OTHER CUSTOMERS. Clearly this is an anything goes place. Cell phones, audible conversations, kids and zomg... Even a dang husband talking on his cell phone about the new minivan he bought last night and how he got such a great deal. What in the heck! I'm paying a dollar a minute just like the rest of ya and would have really enjoyed the experience if not for the other customers. I don't want to see a toddler oozing green snot walking around because it's spawn point has her hands too occupied to actually be a mom... Or hear incessant rambling by a woman about why her boyfriend of 3 years should've bought an engagement ring with his tax returns instead of paying off his car (Hey, David - Keep dodging that one...Not every fish in the sea encourages debt)...And no one wants to hear another woman on her phone blabbing about what she intends to buy at the grocery next door for her meal prep Sunday to THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE ON HER CELL PHONE. This place would be 5 stars all day long if they had an etiquette expectation of their customers they enforced. Instead, they're just a clean, bright spot for an inexpensive, quick pedi. I'd rather had nightclub level of music than to hear the narcissistic bovine feces I did. In conclusion, fantastic services; lousy (albeit clean!) environment. Take earplugs/earbuds and a sleep mask. read more

My mother has been going to this establishment and this is the first time she seen someone nails look so bad. I've never been to this place. I use to go years ago when it was Aqua spa nails. I'm going to the beach so I figured I would try the place that my mom goes to. I scheduled my appointment for 6pm. I didn't sit down until 6:25pm. I asked Kim to do round/almond shape. She was about to put gel polish on them and the round shape looked horrible. I asked for thin acrylic which shouldn't make a difference. They still look pretty thick at the cuticle. She was never rude but I'm not the nail tech. Instead of rushing, you should be able to see the huge dip at the tip of not one nail but 2 nails. I asked for her to redo them. When she added the paint, you could really tell and her response was" you should've seen it was messed up earlier, its easier to fix" I shouldn't see a thing. You are the nail tech and you knew it looked horrible. She went ahead and removed the gel polish and drilled it some more so the acrylic was even. NOT ONCE DID SHE USE A SANDING BAND... SHE LITERALLY USED ONE DRILL ON MY HANDS THE WHOLE TIME. SHE NEVER CHANGED THE DRILL BITS...... and since I been doing my nails since covid... I know your suppose to use multiple nails bits and sanding bands that come with different grits. She rushed on my nails. I'm going to post a picture later. I called and of course she wants me to pay another $45 to fix it..... I don't even want the shape nor this color anymore. My hands look horrible. She did say she would fix it but why didn't she do it correct the first time? she's the nail tech.. she literally used one drill on me... and never perfected the shape and i complained about the shape from the beginning. I never waited. I never said I liked it. I said from the beginning I didn't like it. I'm very disappointed. read more

5 Stars well earned. I have tried a few places around Cary and this is my favorite. My manicures look great and they truly last. I've had various people do my nails and they all have done such a good job - they pay attention to detail and ensure I'm happy with the cut, color, shape, etc. The place also just has a really nice vibe. They remembered me yesterday, which was surprising cause I hadn't been there in awhile. They offered me something to drink (I had water but there's complementary wine and I believe mimosas). I've been going to Paradise Nail Bar for a year and have loved it! My nails always look great, the customer service is friendly and courteous. The salon is clean and they have enough technicians that there is rarely a wait. That being said, I always make an appointment so that I can get my favorite nail tech. I get the SNS powder dip nails, they have tons of colors and it stays on until I change them every three weeks. My nails never chip and they are strong and healthy. Very nice interior. Great color choices. Employees were rude the three times I went. This last time, gel polish was stuck to my skin and whenever I tried to show the technician she patted my hand and motioned me to put it back in the dryer instead of fixing it. I have tried to go during my lunch break and 2 of the 3 times they have started my appointment late, making me late back to work. 20 minutes late one time and 10 minutes late the next. Also, because I did not want a manicure she was rude and told me that I had to get one next time. I do not like the manicure part because I do not enjoy the clipping/cutting of skin and cuticles on my fingers. Not here to bash this company but I'm very unhappy with my nails, So me my brother and girlfriend was looking for a New Nail Salon and came across this one the Owner and workers was very nice, we got mani and pedi and with both we had more than one person work on our nail and or feet and the outcome looked great but after having our nails done not even a week now 3 nails have broken off and the nail shape I asked for wasn't what I got no way did it look like it was coffin shaped and further more the color was beautiful yet had bubbles on the nail once it dryed due to it wasn't properly coated..I was so happy all I was hearing was "sexy nail" "sexy nails" but they weren't so sexy after all I'm upset because not only was this our first time visiting the Nail Bar but it was the worst waste of 89.00 and now I have to pay someone to take what left of a nail set I have and get them redone if you want your nails done I wouldn't recommend coming here but if you want agreat convo these are the ladies to see in a clean and neat bar during this pandemic.... read more
