I'm a huge fan of pedicures, when I got to tip to toe, (yes, reservations are recommended) I had reservations for a Mani-Pedi. The $50 pedicure #2 w/ honey & lemon extract was pretty good, they did a nice job on my toes, bottoms and ankles, I just wish they had scrubbed the bottom of my feet a bit more. The $20 manicure was a little different, I've always had my choice of what manicure I'd like to have, no such luck. My hands have either been soaked or placed in warm moist glove heaters to soften the skin, nope straight into trying to push the cuticles back, little on the pain side, especially when they went to clip the cuticles and potential hang nails out. Then sanded with a dry sponge sander, not too much fun. So if you offer a menu for a pedicure, why no menu for a manicure? At least I would have had a choice in the way my hands were done. I flinched when she filed down so far on my pinky that I could feel it in my nerve. Asked her not to file so far down, and she jabbed the edges to the point of actually breaking my pinky and thumb nail. I was about to leave but tried to hold out. Then the fire alarm went off. They said "That happens sometimes. Just be quiet and sometimes it stops." I waited 5 minutes, it didn't stop, and then she jabbed the edge of my nail again, breaking another top. Amazing experience - great pedicures for my husband (a first-timer!) and myself and an above and beyond staff that CARES. We were on a trip to Denver from California and hanging out at 16th Street Mall before heading to the airport for our flight home. We decided to get pampered at a salon rather than wander the streets and were able to walk-in without an appointment around 4:30pm on a Monday. The salon was large and spacious with nice decor and we were greeted and seated immediately. We both went for the basic pedicure, which included a soak, scrub, massage, foot file, and the usual file/buff/cuticle/polish. They have a drying station with fan and UV light, and will add seche-vite on top to really accelerate the process if you're in a rush. I stuck my toes back into socks and snow boots after and the polish is still looking great four days later. I'm a big smudger, so that's saying something. Now for the above and beyond: I guess my husband and I were incredibly relaxed from the experience, because we ended up leaving without his wallet and home keys and my book. This didn't occur to us until we were at the airport after driving 1.5 hrs through snowy traffic, that is, WAY TOO LATE to turn back. Luckily, we were able to board our flight and get home. I called the salon first thing the next morning and was helped by Julie, who found our items and, along with her team, shipped our items back to us that same day and communicated with us throughout to let us know status (e.g., texted they were on their way to UPS, sent a photo of receipt w/ tracking). I got dip and the tech put gel on top which started peeling the next day. I went back and they only agreed to fix the nails with a top coat peeled halfway down the nail. I tried to explain I had a flight the next morning and was on vacation and they said there was no way they could fix all my nails unless a came back on a later a day. I keep on telling myself that I won't return to this place but because of the convenient location and hours, I do. I call for an appointment each time I come in, and every time the people at the salon seem confused, like as if I didn't make an appointment. The first two times, the salon wasn't that crowded so I was still served quickly. Today, I was told to come at 5:45 and then was told I'd need to wait 15 minutes when I arrived for my appointment. I clearly said on the phone, "I'd like to remove gel and have a gel manicure" and the owner said that she thought I said I didn't already have gel on my hands. It became evident that I likely wouldn't get helped, so I left as I've been dissatisfied with their service in the past anyhow. I will say that once, I got a manicure that I was extremely dissatisfied with, and I came back the next day and a few of my nails were redone free of charge. This is by far the best nail salon I have been to in Denver. While I typically see Shinji, she has been out of the Country for an extended period of time. During this time, I have used other technicians (2-3) and I can confidently say that anyone that has done my nails, did an amazing job. They are always timely with my appointments, they don't rush while doing my nails or massages, and take time to understand the look I am going for. They also make recommendations on colors I may like, or ones that may not look great with my skin tone, and I really appreciate that! I'm in town for a conference and needed a fresh gel manicure and decided to treat myself to a pedicure, too. This place was a couple of blocks from my hotel, and had good reviews, so I gave it a go. At 10:30 a.m. on a Tuesday, I was the only customer in the place. I walked in and was greeted immediately and told them what services I'd like. I was instructed to pick polish for my toes and a gel color for my nails. They seeem to exclusively offer Gelish brand gel polish, and after about 10 minutes of trying to find a neutral color the tech came over with a basket of painted nail wheels, which made it much easier to see and decide on a color. From there I headed over to the pedicure chair. I had gel nails on already, so they wrapped my fingers in remover and tin foil and put them inside plastic gloves, which made my hands sweat and made it difficult to read my magazine, but was ultimately necessary. My pedicure was pretty good, and the massage chair really worked on some kinks in my back. I wish they would have done a heavier pumice/shave, since the skin on my feet was rough, but I didn't ask and they didn't offer. The tools used were in a white plastic box unconvincingly marked "sanitizing kit." But the leg massage my tech provided after the pedicure was great. The gel manicure is what I really had a problem with... first, the curing light kept having issues coming on. But most importantly, the end result looks like junk. There are bubbles in it, and one day later my index finger is already chipping. My cuticles look like garbage. Also, I got a light, neutral pink color and it really needs a third coat so that it's not so transparent. Anyway, I'll let the pic do the talking. It cost $70 total, not including tip, and I'm not sure how much each individual service cost. I probably would not return here, given the chance. read more

The first time I came in I was helped by Katie and was seated next to the owner who knew most of the guests coming in by first name. I love coming here, everyone knows me by name, even the technicians that I've never had a service done by. They greet me, always give advice and are recommending new nail colors and chrome designs. They even bring other guests to stop by and check out my nails haha. Shortest lasting manicure ever. I popped in on Wednesday afternoon to get a french manicure, and by Thursday morning, three of my nails were already chipping. And pretty badly. My nails usually last about a week with a french manicure, but not this time. I'm so bummed that this place did not meet my expecations. A Korean-run nail salon, it looked spacious and pretty. When I arrived, there was only 1 other customer there. I was very clear with what I wanted: didn't need color, just needed callous removed from my feet (because my feet were so scaly I was convinced I was part-lizard). The person who helped me was Cody. She was nice and professional and did all the steps, including paraffin wax with the saran wrap over my feet. My feet felt very relaxed, especially with the pink lotion finish. I walked back to my hotel where I was staying, and -gasp- I still feel some callous remaining (it was better though). Whyyyyy...... It cost me $40 flat, and I'd tipped on top of that. I visited this salon recently with a friend for pedicures. From the moment we sat down, the pressure was intensely on for me to purchase additional services. This went on for the almost the entire session until I stated frankly that I could only swing a pedicure today. The result was stony silence until we exited from the formerly pushy sales lady/salon worker. My friend received not one word, smile or acknowledgment of any kind during her service. Ladies, there is more to doing a good job than filing toenails. Your behavior, or lack thereof, reflects on the business as much as someone's perfectly shiny toes. Please do not come here if you want to save your nails. I decided to come here for the first time about a month ago to get dip since it was close to where I live, and the girl that did my nails was extremely rude it the whole time I couldn't wait for it to be over and she made me feel bad about myself for having too many cuticles. She did such a bad job that they started chipping within a few days. I went back to have them fixed and the new lady was very nice about it but then those chipped within a few days as well. I went back for a third time to get the all of them redone and they actually looked great but three of them chipped and broke my nails off in less than two weeks (ps I am very careful with my nails and this has never happened to me before) so I just went back for the fourth time to have them all taken off, and the lady drilled and filed them down excessively and used that cuticle remover liquid stuff which is very weakening to the nails (how hard is it to soak them in water like everyone else?!) and now they're all falling apart and look worse than they ever have. I get my nails done with dip regularly and this has never happened. So I would not recommend this place. Now I have to wait for my nails to regrow and re-strengthen to have them done elsewhere. What a waste of money. They are also more expensive then other places I have found and not very inviting or spa like inside. read more

This salon is very nice inside, the stations and pedicure chairs look really nice and it's very roomy. I was at a work meeting at the Curtis Hotel and wanted a manicure before I went away for the weekend; I called for an appointment, came 10 minutes early and they were able to take me right away. The manicure process itself was extremely quick and felt a little rushed. My appointment was at 5:45, I got there around 5:35, I was done by 6.
