Wow. This was my first time to the shop and it was like finding a little gem! This was one of the best nail salon experiences I've ever had. The shop is a very relaxing atmosphere with nice calming music playing. The shop is very clean - I didn't see a spec of dust. It's obvious they are very particular with cleanliness and it's well take care of. The owner is named Young and she did my nails. She was very meticulous and thorough and also very sweet. Walked in to no costumers being served. There was one lady sitting in a chair. Upon opening the door no one greeted me and my daughter, they just looked at us with a stare. I said "Hi, do you have time to do 2 pedicures (it was around 2pm). One lady responded "No". I'm not one to make things about race but everything about it felt like "No Coloreds allowed" It was very unwelcoming. I'd never return due to the lack of customer service. Unsure why they were able to serve us but guess I'm glad because I found a better place "Fancy Nails" on Leetsdale. Got a pedicure here on May 21. Service was friendly, they now offer lavender and other upgrades if you want something more than a basic pedicure. I enjoyed the massage and hot stones and they did a great job with cuticle and callous treatment. I stopped by today, July 1 to schedule another appointment as my nails are just starting to chip and grow out. Turns out they are closed for a few weeks due to an unexpected medical emergency. I came in here because I was lucky enough to have them get me in before close on a Sat afternoon. I called first and asked if they might be able to to fit me in to remove the tips I have on and then do a gel or shellac mani on my natural nails, which they told me they could do. I appreciated that they got me in on late notice on a Saturday, which I'm sure is one of the busiest days for them, but I felt rushed once I arrived for sure. There was a lot of discussion between two of the manicurist their in their native language about removing the tips before my manicurist finally informed me that she would not be able to take them off. I'm pretty easy going, so I said it was fine and just asked her to reshape them. I will just have my normal salon remove them for me next time, I guess. Overall, my nails looks nice and I really do appreciate that they fit me in. The only reason I withheld a star was because they told me on the phone they could do one thing and once I was there and halfway through my appointment they told me they in fact could not do this. And because I felt a bit rushed and it wasn't exactly the most welcoming experience I had in a nail salon. But the work is good. I'd give them another chance for sure but will definitely be seeing my regular salon most often from now on. read more

Awesome neighborhood location. I loved the leg scrub, although I wish they would have used the scrub on my feet as well. The hot stones were a very nice touch. They also did not use a lotion after the scrub and soap massage so my legs and feet felt a little dry. Great color selection and the massage chair was great. A few months ago I would have given this location 3 stars. I went several times and was only ever moderately pleased with how my nails turned out. Butttt, I'm super excited to have Ms.Young as the new owner of my local neighborhood nail salon. She bought this location in October. Young did a fantastic job on my powder dip nails and pedicure. Holy awesome! I'm so excited to have a great nail salon within 5 mins of my house. I went in pretty pumped and they did not disappoint. Super nice decor, clean, great place with lots of parking. Almost too many colors to choose from OPI, China Glaze and Essie mostly..I didn't see the shellac brand they use I think it was CND. They have some pretty jewelry for sale as well. I came in for a pedicure and was treated to a great experience. I'm used to the usual places where yeah they take care of your feet but Renue pampers you. They have these lovely massage chairs and do a full foot and leg massage (not oh I'm rubbing lotion on this counts as a massage) before they start the hot stone massage and towel wraps (ummm yes please!) The lady who was helping me was sweet and nice checking to see if the temperature of everything and pressure was good for me, but beyond that not chatty (which I personally like- I don't come to tell you my life story and lets be honest you don't want to hear it lol) and we both just did our thing. She was meticulous in making sure any stray polish was cleaned off my skin and only my nails were gorgeous pink and shiny :) When I moved to let the tootsies dry under the light...she gave me a neck and upper back massage! This was the best pedicure I have ever had. This is what I have been looking for. I love to splurge and treat myself and now I have found the place that will pamper me when I need it. Best part only $35!!! I would spend $33 at Tootsies for the basic job and not walk out this relaxed and feeling spoiled. A great local nail salon- I give the services a 5 but the prices a 3. The pedicure and shellac manicure I got were very well done and included a quality foot and neck massage that did not disappoint! It is a bit more expensive than some comparable salons which I will consider when deciding to get my nails done next. Love this nail salon! I went here on a recommendation from a co-worker since I'm new to Denver and she was right! The services I have received so far include a mani/pedi with shellac. Sevice was great. I definitely felt taken care of and that quality time was spent on both my feet and hands. My technician (not sure what they are called) did not rush through though she was the only one there and more customers kept walking in. She simply gave them a time frame and called more technicians in. Very quaint, cool decor. Everything also seems very clean and well kept. No complaints on that end. The only reason I wanted to take a star away is that, having had the shellac done 2x now, I don't feel that I got the best job on that. I've had the same technician both times so perhaps this is not a universal thing. Overall, Renue rates in the top of all the salons I've been to so far, in Denver and other cities too. read more

Lousy manicure. I wanted to like this salon because it's in my neighborhood and convenient. Unfortunately, my gel manicure chipped on two nails after only three days. They were gracious enough about re-doing them when I went back in, but now two more nails are chipping after only one more day. I expect a gel manicure to last at least two weeks. I came here for a mani/pedi and I will never return here for the following reasons: 1) Pedicure chairs were not comfy, where I placed my feet was very hard & unpleasant. 2) The way they place your feet to get dead skin off is by placing your feet on a tall/plastic thing that was unbalanced and extremely uncomfortable. 3) The woman giving me a leg massage almost fell asleep a few times while giving me a massage. 4) The stone massage is not a stone massage - it is simply rubbing on the skin. 5) The woman giving me a pedicure put OLD nail polish on and was not a smooth finish. Also the same happened on my nails and now my top layer of my nails are peeling off with the nail polish. How old are the polishes anyway? 6) Atmosphere felt dirty & not clean. Lots of dust & holes in the wall, scratches/beat up corners. 7) The women giving me my pedi/mani had an attitude towards me. Rolled her eyes multiple times and was not friendly. 8) While I was getting a manicure, I saw another employee reach to take a towel out of the heater, she realized there was something gross on the handle, wiped it with the same towel she ended up using on her client!!! DISGUSTING. 9) The "drying station" did not use heat lamps or fans, it was simply a regular light. I ended up going into my own car and using my fans in my car to dry my nails. 10) I paid the same dang price I would at another nail salon and at the other nail salon I get 110% better service. Bottom line, I will not be coming back here. Worst nail salon I have ever been too. read more

Unfortunately, this was a terrible experience. The service was fast to the point of abruptness. However, the worst was that they charged my credit card for FOUR mani-pedis instead of the two. This place is in my neighborhood and I had taken a friend there for my bachlorette party which was a special day. I both called and stopped back in to have my card refunded and they have insisted that they cannot help me and that they did not do it, arguing with me as if I am the one at fault. All this in spite of the multiple listings evident on my credit card statement!. It's unfortunate that they care so very little and that I will have to spend an hour on the phone with my credit card on Monday due to the salon's lack of customer service. read more

I go here mainly due to close proximity and it's usually less crowded and seems very clean. Easy free parking always and available appointments when I call last minute. The people are always friendly but expect a language barrier most of the time. I get manicures and pedicures with the latter lasting 4wks (I'm pretty hard on nails too). I was visiting my daughter for the first time in her new house. This salon was a comfortable walk from there and located next door to a great breakfast/lunch place. I walked in at 10:30 am to an empty salon and immediately got sat down for a gel manicure. The manicure was done quickly and beautifully. I'm fussy about having short nails and a very natural looking nail color; the nail tech accommodated me on both. I only wish that the hand massage had been a little longer. I had a great first experience at this nail salon. I was the only customer on a chilly week night and couldn't have been treated better. The service was very professional and not overpowering. I was in the mood just to relax and read my magazine while I had my nails done and the employee seemed to get that right away and kept the friendly banter to a minimum. Once completed with my services she gave me a complimentary bottle of hand lotion and offered a punch card to use for future appointments. I watched this friendly and nice woman give someone an amazing foot and leg massage and was really looking forward to the same treatment. Long story short - the called-in nail tech seemed almost hostile. I have enjoyed this place but for the last 8 months it has become a terrible place. I've tried to be patient since December in case it was just a temporary problem. But today was the last straw. I say run - don't walk AWAY from this place. The employees are angry, sullen, and taking it out on customers. I was cut. The woman next to me yelled out in pain. They've added this guy and the employees act afraid of him. He takes all the tips and just sits there and doesn't do anything - as if he's a pimp. It's just terrible.
