They do not have their prices listed, thinking that for a eyebrow, lip, and chin wax it would be the standard prices I did t even notice they had their prices marked up. When I went to pay they charged me 60.00 dollars! The most I have ever been charged. She said it was cause it was "20, 20, and 15." Which still doesn't add to 60 but 55. They are just putting in whatever they want to charge people, very sketchy. I went back to talk to them and she wouldn't even talk to me about it and walked away, saying that's what they always charge but if you call and ask how much that's not what they say. I have been going to this nail salon for over a year now. They offered a stamp card which means, when you purchase 10 mani's, you get a free pedi on house. I was excited because I have finally met my 10th stamp mark. When I was all finished with my service that night, the lady said they had switched ownership and they don't except the stamp cards anymore. I had informed her that I was here 2 weeks ago and they had stamped it for me, reaching my 10th appointment. The manager came to the front and told me they switched ownership 1 week ago and they will NOT accept the stamp card. I told her this is bad business and will NOT be back. One day I was driving along minding my own business, singing along with my radio when I noticed this nail salon (ok I noticed it because the liquor store a couple doors down was closed ). It is a clean comfortable salon where you never feel rushed and they do a fantastic job. The staff personable and the music (previously reported to be jazz) was top 40. I am a PICKY customer, especially when it comes to my nails. Jenny at Best Nails was friendly and did an excellent job, the male manager was even attentive and made sure I was comfortable, the salon is clean and appealing, and has the cutest set of 2 pink butterfly pedi chairs for little girls. Mediocre pedicure. Everything was so hot I left with burns on my ankles and my heels were still pretty rough. My sister had shellac and he burned through her toe nail with the grinder. Then they over charged her for her shellac pedicure. The sign said $40 for deluxe pedi and $20 for shellac, but her total bill was $80. Where did that extra $20 charge come from? Ohhhh. They get one point for efficiency. Four of us arrived and they were able to service 3 of us, without an appointment. The missing stars are due to the short time for which the pedicures lasted. Two of us lost the polish from at least one toe the next day. Then the third person lost most of her pedicure polish. Only one of us was lucky enough to keep the polish on all ten toes for two weeks. This used to be my go to salon for awesome, creative nails. I was always VERY happy with my nails and the service received. However since it has been sold or "under new management" the quality of service has nose-dived. The last straw was going in and being harassed about not making a appointment then as soon as the tech (which was, btw, the same person I had been seeing since the new management) heard I didn't want a new tip color he simply cut them down and layered on new acrylic. Did you seriously think I would be happy that? You left my nails looking disgusting, sealed over a cracked/chipped section on one nail and didn't even attempt to dremel and fix.
