I don't get my nails done often but when I do I am hoping they do a good job and can do my nails in the way that I like. I don't do anything fancy, just gel manicure with a little design. They were able to help me immediately and the nail tech did a good job on my short nails. The designs were pretty and simple just the way I like and it looks tasteful to me. I've gone here twice and had a positive experience both times. It's a very clean nail salon and spacious. read more

In 45 minutes she was able to take my virgin nails and add tips, acrylic and then gel. She was gentle with her filing and never nicked my skin. Price was reasonable for 4 nail designs + full set. I came in wanting a Pinterest picture and she gave me the 2.0 version. I wish I caught her name! read more

I walked in on a random Wednesday afternoon without an appointment and they had quite a few customers but were able to take me for a manicure right away. The language spoken to me was English but the staff spoke solely to each other except to tell me to wash my hands. I was in and back in my car again in less than 40 minutes. That is the fastest gel manicure I've ever had but it did not lack thoroughness. My manicurist was also very gentle, with just one tiny clipper nip. She cut the nails shorter than I wanted but I did say yes when she asked if I wanted them cut so I should have been more specific. More polish colors than I've ever seen and good pricing. read more

I tried it for the first time last Sunday. I had made an appointment for a heavenly pedicure which on the website included 12 minute massage and it was to last 1 1/2 hrs long. I get there and it was not on menu so I picked the most expensive pedicure of $60. I was in and out in less than an hour. I never got a massage just a hot wrap and stones. It was nice but not what I wanted and not worth the price of $60 plus a $10 tip. read more

Every time that I have gone to Sala Nails since it was recently sold has been nothing but the best experience. I've been serviced by Henry on every occasion. I keep throwing new designs and challenges his way and he knocks it out of the park every time. Normally I would charge for feet pics but I'll post this for free on yelp for the purposes of this review. The shape is inconsistent/strange, and there's paint on my cuticle and skins. The original total was $45 but they discounted it to $35 because I told them I would probably get them redone elsewhere. There were many nail techs, so you might need to request one you know for sure can do a good job. Overall, place was clean and very busy. read more

Getting ready for a vacation & wanted to pamper myself with a pedicure & full set. But where do I go? There are so many nail salons in the area. After spending 2 days researching the various reviews I decided to try this salon. Very clean, relaxing & friendly. Chose to schedule on a Tuesday. Turns out it is the best time to schedule. There were only 2 of us in the salon during most of my visit. As people arrived they were all greeted in the same friendly, accommodating way as I was. I'm told the rest of the week is busy. For this visit I chose to have the Volcano Pedicure, my tech Tina was very attentive & got my spa water to just the right temp! The whole experience was amazing. I loved it! I also opted to get a full set! Tracy, did an amazing job. Very considerate & observant. I think my nails turned out great. No cuts, no chunks of product on the inside, or product on my skin. Sala Nail Salon is definitely worth checking out if you're new to the area or want to get great service & pampered. Incidentally, I have 5 other nail salons closer to me. read more

As the prices have slowly gone up with inflation, the service has gotten worse and worse. This has been my go to place for years. I'm so disappointed with the service lately. The lack of professionalism is getting worse and worse. People talking on their phones the entire time they're doing your nails, rushing through your nails because they seem inconvenienced,refusing to wear a mask during covid regulations just because they don't want to. Somewhere these employees forgot this was a business and not a place they come to talk on the phone and maybe do nails if they aren't too inconvenienced by you. read more

I would NOT recommend this salon. I've tried giving different staff members a shot throughout the last few years with my pedicures and the only person that was truly kind, professional and did amazing work was Tina. The rest of the staff seems to have an attitude every time I've visited in and when asking to fix errors so my toes don't look sloppy, they have attitudes. Do not waste money on sloppy services provided here. read more

Okay okay... So where do i even begin??? As you guys can see, idk if it shows, but i came to the salon about 5 years. Just before reading my review and look at the pics, tell me what's wrong. Long short story, i came in to get a full set of acrylic with (suggested by the nail lady tech that did my nails this time) a shellac polish bc supposedly itll stay longer. So i thought, hey, its okay for me to add extra bucks to a longer stay nails :) I got it done and I wasn't pleased with the end result when I saw it but i gave it the benefits of the doubt and told myself, maybe it's just me and prob it is. MIND YOU I DID THIS SET MONDAY THE 13th. Im writing this review Friday the 17th. 4 days people, and my nails already looking like this. I came in to see what they could do about it. All they told me was "its normal. people has vary nail growths. with an exception of gestures, because we dont usually do this"???????? I WAS FURIOUS. HOW CAN YOU TALK TO A COMPLAINING CUSTOMER THAT HER NAILS LOOKING LIKE THIS AND TOLD HER THAT THEY DONT USUALLY DO THAT??? THIS IS NOT MY FIRST TIME GETTING MY NAILS DONE AND I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT MY NAILS GROWTH IS ABOUT A WEEK AND A HALF TO SAY THE LEAST. Im thinking, "can i not get my nails done in the beginning of the week, preparing for a great weekend, and my nails already looking like this towards the weekend?? am i supposed to refill it every 4 days????" Had an awesome pedicure, of which they have a lot of options. Happy with my mani pedicure. $75 for both and I upgraded to the hr pedicure. I also really enjoyed the massage chair. They're a very busy salon, recommend making an appt. Additionally, my only criticism is to improve the indoor ventilation, the fumes started to give me a headache. Otherwise will likely return. read more

I have been to this salon many times with a good experience, but yesterday the lady cut my toe so bad it was gushing blood. I was so upset I asked for her not to paint my nails and I left. Being that I have been there many times I would think the best solution would be not to charge me anything. They took $10 off which I think is ridiculous that they charged me at all. I've gone to other nail salons in Aurora/Denver area and NOT one compares to Sala Nails ... they really are the best around, I will never go any place else... Le always makes my hands so pretty, and my manicure/ nails always look amazing, even when I need a rebase I recommend making an appointment, but all of their nail techs are top notch and won't disappoint... read more

I like this salon. Just not to happy with these nails. When I look at my nails all I see is the sides of my nail not painted correctly. I get it's black with a color pin stripe seems easy enough. I guess covering the sides isn't that important. I paid decent money. Not cheap. For this set with tip was over fifty dollars. With black you can see every little air bump. I feel like Val was either in a hurry or didn't want to do my nails. So if there is anyone from Sala nails willing to do my nails as they should be done. I will make an appointment. read more

I stumbled across this little gem after checking out reviews right here on Yelp! My usual gal, who is fantastic, was not able to get me in the week that I needed prior to a big birthday party I was throwing. I needed a pink and white ombre rebase in a coffin shape, and a pedicure with gel polish, posthaste! Fortunately for me, my fellow yelpers did not disappoint. I was able to secure an appointment for my services with only a day's notice. I arrived for my appointment and was paired up with a tech by the name of Jimmy. He started me off with a spa pedicure. I was presented with a bottle of water and a menu of services. I went ahead and selected two different services with complementary products. I got a lemon scrub with an orange peel moisturizer. I loved the zing of the citrus scents, and would have been energized if I haven't been lulled into a delightful half-sleep. My service also came with a paraffin dip and a hot stone massage to my calves, which was to die for! I kind of felt bad for the little old lady sitting next to me, I'm sure the sounds that I was making came across R-rated! Sorry lady, I couldn't help it! It was that damn good! The pedicure consisted of nearly an hour of pampering. Jimmy did in-depth cuticle care and an overall top-notch pedicure. When my toes were done, we moved over to the manicure area where Jimmy finished up my service. Despite a language barrier, I was able to get the exact pink tone that I wanted in my powder to achieve the ombre effect I was looking for. Although my technician was not able to ask me questions directly, he did not let that stop him from communicating with me. He would call over another person to ask me questions if he needed to. I felt like he understood what I wanted. I feel completely lucky that I was able to get such awesome service and such a quality outcome with such little notice. If I ever find myself in the position where I can't get in to see my regular girl again, I will definitely be back to find Jimmy! This place was great! I would highly recommend making an appointment though, I saw a couple folks get turned away or scheduled for another day/time. read more

First and last visit I will ever have to this salon. I simply wanted a shellac polish, I keep my nails nice and only manicure them once a month and this woman ruined my nails. I'm going to have to wait for another growth cycle to get them even again after the psycho filing she did, some of them are round and some of them are sharp square. She did not seem to be concerned with them looking nice and even, I'm not even sure she was looking at my nails. The polish application was pathetic! It was as if she did not give a damn about my nails looking nice. Very rushed and sloppy. She had to redo 2 nails which was never happened before. And they still look bad! I went in there for a simple shellac polish and it was the most complicated nail treatment I've ever had. Sala, your work ethic does NOT match your reviews. Tell your technicians to SLOW DOWN and pay attention to detail. I'm disgusted by my nails and I wish I could get my time and money back. Will never return. Thanks for ruining my nails read more

I found Sala Nails & Spa on Yelp. I was happy to find a salon that opened relatively early because I needed to get my nails done for a wedding. So I was trying to cram everything I needed in. This salon was super efficient and got me seated as soon as I walked in since I had an appointment. I got shellac nails service done. The technician did a great job and I could tell it was quality. I loved how my nails turned out and it was only $30 which is a total normal price for this service. The whole thing from start to finish took 45 minutes. If I'm ever in the Aurora area I will definitely be doing here. You should check it out too! read more

I'm new to Colorado and have been to six different nail salons prior to coming here. Everywhere else I have gone I've gotten crappy service and the techs were rude and didn't want to do what I was asking for. Keep in mind I like to keep my nails simple with gel nail polish and I go through the same four colors every time because that's what I like. Sala is the best and I've been back three times since my first visit. I've had a different tech every time but they were all nice and complied to what I wanted. I recently went and had Sue, she was very nice and did exactly what I wanted with no complaints. I even asked if I could request her every time. The environment is nice, all staff seem friendly, I always call ahead and am seated with a tech right away. Service is quick but very efficient. read more

The first few times I had bad nails experiences. I tried shellac and dipped nails they always chipped in a few days. They recommended tips and shellac an upscale and it did last but my nails are horrible since I removed them. I had fungus and a index finger and Jennifer ignored me and my concerns. 2 weeks later it was worst and Leah told Jennifer to clean up the fungus. Cindy is very sweet but cuts your when clipping cuticles. She tried to prete d my nail was not bleeding until I had her address it. I wanted to get an underarm and leg was 3 staff were free and just sat there I was very annoyed. However, the good my daughters enjoy them and has always had good service no complaints. I reccomend a appointment and let them know you have one so you are not sitting for a long time. read more

Really happy to discover this hidden gem! They treated me like family on the first visit. They were able to see me last minute on a Sunday which is so RARE. The nail technicians are all on point! They have a great team overall and didn't make me wait a long time. I enjoyed the selection of colors and brands available. The hot towels and stones are always a delight and truly make the experience wonderful. ALSO...I messed up my toe nails in the snow and they were able to help me out and fix my mess! I am in Colorado for a wedding and did not have time to get my nails done. Came here because they opened early and has good reviews. This place blew my mind. I am originally from SF in California so a place this spacious, clean, fair prices AND amazing work is hard to come by. If I lived in Aurora I would make this my regular place. There is no rushing you, they take care of you, lots of options for nail styles and colors. I might just make the move haha! read more

Reagan continued to actively participate, asking multiple follow-up questions about the club's atmosphere, membership fees, types of events, and clientele. I was careful to keep my responses strictly professional and non-sexual, focusing on logistical and social aspects. At no point during this sustained conversation did the esthetician indicate that she felt uncomfortable or ask to change the subject. Therefore, receiving a call informing me I was banned--and being told by the manager that the conversation was "inappropriate to have while getting a male Brazilian"--was a significant surprise. It seems highly unprofessional to ban a paying customer without the service provider communicating any discomfort during the interaction. Feedback on Communication and Professionalism: For the management and staff: Professional protocol dictates that if a client's conversation makes a staff member uncomfortable, the staff member must clearly and politely redirect or end the topic of conversation. Customers cannot be expected to know a provider's boundaries, especially when the provider is actively engaging and asking follow-up questions. A simple, "I prefer to keep our conversation limited to the service," would have been sufficient and professional. This lack of professional communication has resulted in the loss of a repeat client and has created an unnecessarily unpleasant experience. I urge management to review their policies on staff interaction and boundary setting. Recommendation for Male Clients: Due to this experience, I do not recommend this establishment for males seeking a Brazilian wax. While the technique was good, the overall lack of staff maturity and professionalism in handling client conversations is concerning. Prospective clients might consider alternatives like European Wax Center for a lower-cost option. I hope this feedback leads to better communication practices so that other clients do not feel targeted or confused in the future.
