This is a review for the incredible artist & multitasking king: David. Every time I've inquired about an accent nail design, he delivers beyond what I'd hoped for. Even when we're in the rough steps of nail shaping & smoothing, my nails look so pretty (what kind of magic). It is frequently busy during my appointment times, and David fields walk-ins, phone calls, & other miscellaneous needs as they arise; he is very good at communicating with me & remembering where he may have left off. While my primary experiences have been with David, I see lots of other beautiful nail art from other technicians, & was chatting with my nail neighbor today about how fantastic their work is as a collective. I wanted QL to be my standing go to place for pedicures and manicures but the results I've gotten have been so inconsistent. Originally loved that they had an online booking system but the past four times I've booked online and gotten no confirmation. So I have to call in which completely takes away from the convenience and honestly, not wanting to make a phone call factor. Prices are reasonable but the last time I got a dip manicure it was by a newbie and it started chipping and peeling away after three days. And I'm talking short nails, one color dip. I'm basic. It's supposed to last three to four weeks when I've gotten them done here and other places. I would come here for a basic pedicure but nothing else. Even then, it's now a last resort for me since I want consistency and reliability and QL just doesn't provide that. read more

It's pretty busy so it's best to have an appointment esp during weekends and after work hours. It's a quick in and out pedicure and the staff is friendly. Pricing is reasonable from Classic $35 to QL Signature $82. Some of the technicians are very skilled with designs and nail art. You can do special requests or show an image of what you'd like and they are accommodating. Massages chairs are great during your service. Lots of convenient parking. Made an appointment as I needed help re-doing my nails for the wedding. They were peeling after one day. Online process and then it was confirmed by email and text. I requested Tina as I had seen good reviews for her. Checked in on the tablet and received a receipt. Picked out nail color. Was met by Tina right away. Escorted to her station. Washed my hands and she took off the prior nail color. Then cleaned up my cuticles and proceeded with the manicure. Afterwards, I dried my nails at a drying station. She checked in on me to see how they were drying and when it was done, I paid and left. Tips are appreciated by cash so I did that. Parking in shared lot. This has been my go to nail salon for years but they recently went above and beyond to keep my business and trust. I received a normal dip manicure & pedicure and didn't notice I had been charged more than usual until the manger called me the next day to explain I had accidentally been overcharged and offered a refund or credit towards my next visit. I find this to be very honest & excellent business as I would not have questioned the charge. This on top of the beautiful nails I get here will keep me coming back. read more

I am visiting my daughter from California and was over due for my regular nail appointment at home. ( I do gel on both hands and feet) called on Wednesday and booked an appointment for Thursday at 1045. Tina was my nail Wonder Woman. She was nice, kind and helped me pick my color. The pedicure was perfect, great massage and she got rid of an ingrown toe nail. My manicure was amazing and again a really good massage. Jana does amazing lashes and nails. This place is very clean and they are super nice. I actually love that they tell you to wash your hands when you enter before you go touching all the polishes. This is my new spot. They do really great and cool nail designs as well! I don't know about you but when they take off my gel Polish and wrap my nails, the foil always comes off. I was in need of a quick gel manicure and found QL Nails. I love how they have an online appointment system. It was easy to set up an appointment. When I arrived I was seen right away. Told my tech what color I was interest in and she brought me some options. So much better than me trying to look through all the colors. My manicure and basic single gel paint was perfect. They were quick and efficient. I think I was out of there in 40 min. That included a gel removal, manicure and gel paint. The salon was very clean and I loved the modern decor. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Since, I have been back a few times and have not been disappointed. And the prices are awesome as well. read more

I'm having mixed emotions about my nails. It's easy to say "oh yea I love them" while sitting in the chair. But as soon as you get home and take a deep dive, all the messy bits come to light. This is the first time I've ever had this shape and I do like it, love the color as well. Normally I'm pink and white or neutral. I play it safe. I have thin nail beds so this shape is very flattering. I'm glad she had her own nails this shape and helped me decide I want mine the same. But now that I've looked at them for 12 hours I'm not happy. Some of them are crooked or way too wide. But mostly the acrylic isn't smooth. Should I go back and ask for them to be fixed? read more

I've been a loyal customer for almost two years, and I've always supported your business. However, my experience today was extremely disappointing. This was the first time I've ever expressed that I wasn't happy with my nails to David, and instead of handling the situation professionally, he reacted poorly. Lately, I've noticed the quality of his work has DECLINED. It seems like he's RUSHING through appointments instead of focusing on TECHNIQUE. I understand wanting to accommodate as many clients as possible, but the priority should be delivering GOOD results, not just speed. I never realized how broke down, busted and disgusted the massage chairs were at the nail place I was going to before because WOW the ones at QL are amazing. My first time in today, for a pedicure with Tina: I was greeted HAPPILY when I walked in (no appt). There was no eye-watering 'nail-smell' in the air Holy cow they have tons of polish colors to choose from! Appreciate that my nails were ROUNDED as I requested....can't say how many times I've left with a diagonal toe nail. But why? Massage chairs - see above PLUS they have a SLANTED footrest. I mean, who hasn't felt like a contortionist getting their pigs done before? Loved the music - modern songs but 'softened' a bit so it stayed relaxing. No employees were on personal phone calls while tending to customers. Hallelujah! The could have been just a teensy tad better stuff: Could have used a little more elbow grease with the cheese grater - heels weren't as baby soft as I would have liked (although they are WAY less sandpaper-y than when I went in!) Paid $42 for the "Aurora Pedicure"... no massage whatsoever even though that's whats the menu says. My toes look terrible and were filed all crooked. My heels aren't smooth at all... Don't go. I wasn't treated like a human honestly. I scheduled an appointment, arrived early with a mask. And the nail tech treated me terribly. Shuffling through my fingers aggressively. Let the electric tool snag my skin (he says someone bumped him but even still, he literally lost control because he was moving too fast). I know accidents happen. He did not even break skin, it's not biggie. But it's a big deal because he was handling me so aggressively. They didn't have the color I usually get (from there) so I was shuffling through the options trying to find a similar. He literally yelled when I wanted to decide between two more..... I did not feel safe as a woman. I don't let people yell or make raise their voice at me. I needed just 5 minutes to find the closest color. I am a black woman, yes. And I am vaccinated and came in with a mask. And have a degree. So, if I had to guess why I was treated that way, I can only conclude one thing. Go with your own discernment. read more
