Gel colour has been on for about two weeks
Rowena B.

My girlfriends and I had our nails done about 2 weeks ago. 4 pedicures and a manicure. My nails still look good, I got the gel colour so it'd last. My chick did alright. I know she gave my feet a good pumice but they weren't smooth upon leaving. I didn't love the way she painted one of my big toes, I can kinda see the lines still. I feel like the staff were annoyed with us. My friend next to me, her nail tech was telling her that she was annoying because she was having trouble relaxing while her food was being man handled. Another friend was told by her nail tech "ugh, all these mom in here", which was us. And was a bit grumpy during her manicure. Turns out that staff member did a bad job on another girls pedicure previously and when she came to do her pedi again my friend told her no and that she's specifically request the man that does hers. She'd booked in with him. So she was probably mad at one friend and took it out on the other. It took about 4 tries to tell them that I was paying for all 5 of us. They just couldn't understand it. Eventually we got there. No discount or anything extra. It was approx $40 x 5 plus tip so it was quite a bit on money.

***Long (but honest) read ahead*** I just moved to the area in Jan of this year and consider myself kinda picky when it comes to having my nails done. I usually get acrylics... and one of my standards is that the salon and/or tech MUST take care to ensure the acrylic is sculpted onto my nails so that there is no lifting. Finding a place like this is like finding a needle in a haystack. Well, I've been salon shopping since I moved here and believe I finally found that needle! My first two experiences with Nail & Co were okay; I opted for a liquid gel full-set, which was nicely done. However, they only lasted a week (on both occasions) before they started to lift. I've had liquid gel full-sets in the past with ZERO lifting, so this was strange to me. I recognized the application technique they used, so I truly was baffled. The first time I was kinda mad, the second time I realized that the liquid gel used may not work well with my nails (it was builder gel in a bottle w/ a brush attached versus the IBD builder gel I've seen in the past). I've had pedicures here as well... The first two felt average, despite paying for "deluxe" versions. However, Nails & Co is such a gorgeous so shop I just HAD to give it another chance. I refused to believe they didn't do quality work. Guess what, the third time was a charm! My most recent experience was MUCH better. I selected the signature pedi and was met with a great massage as well as good, deep cuticle cleaning. I mean she really got in there! As for my nails... I'm IN LOVE! I tried dipping powder in a previous state and did NOT like it. The set was sloppily done, and contrary to dipping powder's "safe for your nails" reputation, my nails were severely damaged! I blame the technique used at the time to apply them for the damage. The dip set done by Nails & Co is absolutely gorgeous!!! I just got them done, however can already tell the difference from this set and my first experience. Louis (sp?) was my tech. And let me tell you, he is soooooo meticulous!!! He paid very close attention to detail, took the time to explain the pros of using dipping powder vs acrylic (I came in for an acrylic full set initially), explained how to PROPERLY apply a dipping powder set (I told him about my previous experience because I was reluctant to get this set, but he convinced me), as well as how they should be removed. Bae-bay!!!! Louis also sculpted my nails to perfection!!!! I know these bad babies will NOT lift (I'll post an update in a few weeks). The entire staff is extremely friendly (they were my first two visits, which is another reason I came back) and fun to chat with. Overall, I definitely recommend Nails & Co for your nail care needs!!! I am now a new self-proclaimed regular.

Gave them a call late in the morning and they were able to get my an appointment for later in the day! I arrived and was greeted quickly, my nail tech was ready for me. She did such a great job in such a timely manner and was very nice to me. I had a great experience and will be coming back for sure. I went in for a gel manicure.

Umm what is this? They painted my cuticle.

One word never coming back!! Don't waste your money here. I don't care if it's free it's a waste of time and they can't do nails. I have tried them a few times and I'm done. Leighanne I think her name was did them. She should not be doing nails. This is by far the worst nail job ever!! I'm currently sitting in my car right now ripping off my nails. Keep in mind I paid $45 plus a 20% tip. I'm honestly more upset I need to get them redone and I don't have time for that. Good luck to this salon. I think they need some more training.

Worst manicure of my life. I truly can't express how bad this manicure is. I have nail polish everywhere. All uneven. Pictures can't even express.

Chipped. Cracked nails

I want to love this place so much. It's clean, it's beautiful inside, the staff is great! However, I have been getting dip for about 4 years now, and living in this area and trying to get an constant shop has been a challenge. Then I found this place, great right? Not exactly. The last 6 dip sets I have revived I have had to have repaired. A nail chips or completely comes off 2-3 days after. They are AMAZING about fixing it, but it's time consuming for all parties. I have never had my nails chip so easily. I also work a desk job, so I'm not that hard on my hands. 1 of the 6 times was totally me. I actually broke a nail opening something, but they still fixed it! So I want to love this place, but my dip doesn't even last 2 weeks. When it use to last 3-4. I'm really sad about it too. Pedicures are good, and consistent.

Recently relocated to the SE Aurora area and needed a new nail salon closer to home. I've tried a few others in the area and have not been happy. Well, that all changed when I found Nails & Co. Fabulous work! I am quite picky and they did exactly as asked and my nails look awesome!!! Hurry! Go see them. You will not be disappointed!

I have been here several times and really enjoy it here. Very clean and modern, lots of colors to choose from like OPI and Essie. They have a sanitized pack of tools for each customer and put plastic in the bowl. Yesterday I came in for a pedicure at 2:30. It was very busy but they fit me in even as a walk in. Negative aspect about the appointment: the lady who trimmed my nails ripped skin off on both of my big toes. Very painful and a day later still red and painful. I'll be back because I enjoy the salon, I just will request someone other than that technician.

Cannot recommend this place enough! I've been going here for awhile and they do the absolute best work! Their customer service is fantastic as well. I went in yesterday and the color I chose wasn't the color I got (labeled the same # as the sample I picked but wasn't nearly the same color -manufactures fault, not theirs) they immediately offered to redo them with a color I wanted. Couldn't be happier with the result too!

New color!!

Great nail spot. I'm here every two weeks for powder dip over natural nails and while pricy they do such a good job!

Hara L.

Got the dip powder for the first time and I love it. I got exactly what I wanted. Very clean salon. Definitely would be coming back

I looked like this walking into NAILS & CO

was told a quick pedicure with callous removal would only mean no massage. Untrue and now I'm out $50 for nothing. Spoke to check out person and she did nothing to resolve my issue when I told her my heels were still rough. the polish looks fine but let's see what happens over next day or two.

But she also is a hair master, just what you're looking for for your various hair needs and desires. Money is very tight for me, and I could go to a cheap barber or something, but I would rather get the immense quality that she always brings every single time. her prices are very reasonable, and in the over two decades that she has done my hair, I have never had a haircut I was disappointed with. I was getting more self-conscious about my white temples (I'm young, but did not get very good hair genes), and she colored them and made them look totally natural with the rest of my hair. She is extremely artistic and can get a sense for exactly what will work with each person, and she's great conversation every time while she does my hair. She also is an excellent business owner and knows how to find the right people who will make a terrific team. Each one of her other hairstylist are also very popular and leave their customers very satisfied. The place always has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, with music that is not too loud or too quiet, and a welcoming, comfortable aesthetic. They also sell products to meet your home hair needs. Im usually fine with that but not someone with only two years experience and barely out of her teens. Ughhh. Christmas is a busy season and the other stylists were all booked. The girl was very slow and scared of messing up it seemed. It took three hours to do my hair and I was shocked. Everyone was nice but at the end of the day, that was far too long and I did not feel like it should have taken that long. I don't know. I would be open to trying a more mature and experienced stylist next time.

The service itself was performed well, and I was satisfied with the quality of the wax. However, the subsequent events have caused significant disappointment and lead me to strongly advise caution to other male clients. The day after my service, I was unexpectedly contacted by the manager and informed that I was banned from the establishment due to an "inappropriate conversation" with the esthetician. This notification was perplexing, as the conversation in question was initiated by the esthetician's small talk. During the service, Reagan asked about my weekend plans. When I initially mentioned that the plans were personal, she indicated that was acceptable. I then shared that my wife and I planned to visit The Scarlet Ranch, a known lifestyle club. As my wife and I are open about our lifestyle, I was willing to engage in general, surface-level discussion. Reagan continued to actively participate, asking multiple follow-up questions about the club's atmosphere, membership fees, types of events, and clientele. I was careful to keep my responses strictly professional and non-sexual, focusing on logistical and social aspects. At no point during this sustained conversation did the esthetician indicate that she felt uncomfortable or ask to change the subject. Therefore, receiving a call informing me I was banned--and being told by the manager that the conversation was "inappropriate to have while getting a male Brazilian"--was a significant surprise. It seems highly unprofessional to ban a paying customer without the service provider communicating any discomfort during the interaction. Feedback on Communication and Professionalism: For the management and staff: Professional protocol dictates that if a client's conversation makes a staff member uncomfortable, the staff member must clearly and politely redirect or end the topic of conversation. Customers cannot be expected to know a provider's boundaries, especially when the provider is actively engaging and asking follow-up questions. A simple, "I prefer to keep our conversation limited to the service," would have been sufficient and professional. This lack of professional communication has resulted in the loss of a repeat client and has created an unnecessarily unpleasant experience. I urge management to review their policies on staff interaction and boundary setting. Recommendation for Male Clients: Due to this experience, I do not recommend this establishment for males seeking a Brazilian wax. While the technique was good, the overall lack of staff maturity and professionalism in handling client conversations is concerning. Prospective clients might consider alternatives like European Wax Center for a lower-cost option. I hope this feedback leads to better communication practices so that other clients do not feel targeted or confused in the future.
