The people that have posted negative comments are unhappy people in general...and no salon will make you happy!!!! When you are booking your appointment communicate what you are wanting and the owner will accomplish it!!! If it's a couples thing tell her she will take care of you... If you want designs she will take care of you with an expert tech!!! Every salon has different experts that are great but, you have to communicate what you want!!! Again-Communication is key!!! I went in on 3/4 for a shellac manicure. By 3/11, nail polish from two of my nails cracked so I went in yesterday and the staff "fixed" the two nails following a 30mins wait...they apologized, and said that "this sometimes happens." This has never before happened when I've gotten my nails done at my regular nail salon. Tonight, the entire polish came off, in one piece, from a third nail...super disappointed in the quality of their products, it was a waste of money and time! This salon is convenient for me but I will stick to my "usual" salon, the one I've been going to since 2014, where I know the service and quality of products is top notch!! read more

This place discriminated against my male friend who is gay and has disabilities! We have been here before and they know my friend's name. Recently (Dec 2019) he called to make an appointment one morning and when he gave his name they said they were booked all day. Later I called to see if there were any openings and they reported that they could take me right away(I am a woman). When I gave them my friend's name, which is a male name, they reported that they could not take him. When I asked why, they mumbled and eventually said that they didn't have anyone in that can do male nails today. I do t know if they turned away my friend because he is male, gay, or disabled-but I am going to assume it is all of the above and I am furious! Do not support this establishment! read more

I was randomly driving down Arapahoe road and realized since I've moved, I needed to find a new nail place to get my pedicures. I stopped in, first impression- it was clean, lots of pedicure chairs, and busy. I signed in and even though there were lots of people inside on a Tuesday, didn't have to wait a minute. I sat down in one of the relaxing massage chairs and a girl named Kim came over and took care of me. Their regular pedicure here was on the same level as what I have paid for "deluxe pedicures" else where. I was impressed with the job she did on the massage, and the nail art was beautiful! WARNING!!! STAY AWAY!!! If I could give a place negative stars, this would be it. I needed a mani/pedi the day before vacation and this place is somewhat close, so at the recommendation of a friend who I will never listen to again, I made an appointment with Mandy. Walking in, it was very hectic and busy...with no place to wait except the UV-lit nail-drying table and the ambience/decor said government office and not serene spa. I wanted to walk out but I thought it would be okay since my friend recommended it. There was a dog in the place, which at first seems cute, but now I'm rethinking how sanitary this might be! During my pedicure, Mandy's hand slipped when using one of the tools and cut my toe which started bleeding. She applied some sort of blue liquid to it, and I thought this was excusable as just a mistake, although she was being really rough. During my manicure, she cut the cuticle on the middle finger of my right hand which bled and again, she applied the blue stuff. At this point I just wanted out of there. My nail polish looked like crap and I believe Mandy was pretty flustered. There was no apology or offer of a discount, and I was pretty much in shock at this point! About 3 days into my vacation I wake up with a swollen, red and extremely painful finger (the one that had been cut). I could barely touch anything and I considered going to urgent care. If I were just rating Snappy Nails just on their waxing services, I would give them four stars. The owner always does a great job and is very gentle. I wouldn't trust myself with hot way, and I am always hesitant the first time I go to a salon for waxing services, but the owner at Snappy Nails always does an excellent job. I am always happy with the results. I have also gone to Snappy Nails for pedicures in the past year. On the pedicures I received, I would only give three stars. While the pedicures turned out pretty well, two things really stood out to make me not want to come back. First, the place has a very strong nail polish smell, and I get a sick feeling smelling that odor for more than five minutes. The new place I go to does not have that smell at all. Also, during the second pedicure I got there, the nail tech, while overall doing a good job, was really rough when trying to cut one of my toe nail cuticles - it really hurt. I like to be relaxed when I get a pedicure. The prices at Snappy Nails are a little high. I am definitely willing to pay for the hair removal services (waxing), but I won't go back for a pedicure. read more

Everyone here is so sweet! They immediately take your temperature and have you sign in and make sure that the spaces are sanitized after every customer. They have brand new instruments for each client, barriers at each station, and everyone is wearing a mask. It also helps that they do amazing work with both toes and nails!! read more

We made an appointment, showed up on time and they got us back right away. The shop wasn't busy at all. My friend and I both got pedicures, while she got shellac on her nails and I got acrylics. The girl who was doing my feet, was super cute and friendly and really saved this experience. JC was the woman who did my acrylics. She acted like she was in a hurry. The shape of several of the nails were off and there were bubbles in the dried polish. I tried to get her opinion on the color I wanted off of a picture and she was not helpful at all. She didn't give me a hand massage nor did she do a good job on trimming my cuticles. When checking out I told another woman that I didn't get a hand massage and she said they don't do them for acrylics. Which doesn't make since I paid more then my friend and didn't even get a full manicure. read more

"Meh, I've experienced better" couldn't be more appropriate. I've been here in the past when I had acrylics for a fill because it's close to my work. Hadn't been back for awhile because my previous experiences were unremarkable...and today I kind of remembered why i don't frequent this place. Today I tried a shellac manicure. I was less than impressed. Why? 1: The technician flew through trimming my cuticles and was so fast she over-cut them and hurt me. 2: To prep the base of my nail she used a metal tool to scrape them. Not cool. 3: When I pointed out the piece of nail hanging off the end of my thumb, she just said "it's okay" and painted it into the base coat. So now, of course, there's a bump there. How unprofessional. 4: She only put one coat of color on and it's patchy and uneven. 5: There is a build-up of top coat around and on my cuticles. That's going to be really crappy when it grows out. Here's the icing on the cake - there was a technician in the next booth over who didn't have a client. So, she thought it was totally appropriate to take of her shoes, put her bare feet up on another chair. It's confirmed - I won't be back. read more

Coming from NYC, where nail salons are a dime a dozen, I'm very particular about where i get my pedicures done. I mean, who wants to be walking around with jacked up toe nails?!? My roommate referred me to Snappy Nails and i'm so excited to say that I've found a fantastic new home for my tired toes and worn out feet. I've been here twice and both experiences have been amazing. Their deluxe pedicure lasts an hour and is quite luxurious, including a 20 minute leg/foot massage. Their regular pedicure, though pricier than most, is almost as amazing as their deluxe pedi. The staff at Snappy Nails are polite, professional and most importantly sanitary. Their pricing is a little higher than most nail salons but I for one am willing to pay more for clean and friendly service! read more

Decided to "cheat" on my regular salon and go here because my regular salon was closed today and I'm headed out of town for two weeks! My little sister has been here and loved it so I decided to check it out. All the ladies were very friendly and did a great job on my manicure and pedicure. I ended up also getting my eye brows waxed (the owner does the brows) and she really did a good job. I was scared! I wish the pedicure water was hotter and I didn't get my arm massage that I'm used to but that's not the end of the world (or the hot hand bag for manicures). I'd definitely come back if my main nail place couldn't fit me in or if I needed another Sunday pampering :). read more

My husband and I made a stop in here last week for the beginning of our date night. We had a reservation, so it's not like they were trying to fit us in. They were able to get us two chairs together, that was a bonus. They immediately started filling the tubs with water and told us to put our feet in. Both of the tubs of water were scalding hot. My husband spoke up and he was told it wasn't that bad. Not a good way to start when you're trying to relax. Overall my pedicure was okay. It felt rushed. I noticed a lady getting a really nice flower painted on her big toe and I asked my girl if she could do the same. She told me certainly. It didn't look anything like that and unfortunately, I did shellac so it's not easy to remove and redo. I could have put stickers on it or have done it myself and it would have looked more professional. So that was a bummer as I'm leaving next week for vacation and will probably have to pay to have it redone. When we left I asked my husband if he enjoyed it and he said not really. He said it wasn't very relaxing. I would not revisit this salon as there are so many other salons who do a better job. read more

I went in for a shellac manicure and a pedicure. I am less than pleased with the outcome. It is relatively close to my new neighborhood so I thought I'd give it a try. Bad idea. Rose who did my manicure kept nicking my cuticles too much; until they bled. She was apologetic, but continued to do it. Also, you can still see my nails under the shellac polish. On top of that she kept helping other people while doing my nails. If they were busy I would completely understand this, but considering the fact that one other lady and I were the only clients they had it didn't make sense to me. I won't be coming back. read more

Snappy is right. One of the fastest simple manicures I've ever had. A colleague took me here this week for a manicure on our lunch break since we work right down the street. We made an appointment and headed over. Their little yippy pup greeted us as we walked through the door. Being a dog person, I appreciate their little company pet. Good thing I am not one of the crazy people who don't like dogs, or who are depressingly allergic. Anyway! They did a nice job on my nails. I don't get manicures too often so when I do I like them to be as perfect as possible. The nail techs did a nice job on our nails like I said, but maybe I'm uber cheap, and think that $18 for a simple manicure with nail polish is a little much. I'm a guy and don't have my nails done unless I'm going to a special event; so this review is not about me but my daughter. My daughter went in to have her nails done to relax during her lunch period because of a hard early morning and a hard morning. When she got home today an her mom asked her how nails turned out she was brought back to the emotion she had when she walked out of the store and almost broke into tears. She explained that PAT the nail tech was on the phone and obviously distracted, because she painted the skin at the base of her nails and the shellac was bumpy and had blotches. My wife called and explained it was completely unacceptable and was sending our daughter back to have it redone. The good thing about that is, it may be taken care of; the bad thing is PAT may have an attitude. I will update this post to keep you informed of the outcome. Too bad the owner TAMMY was not there. I know she does not tolerate her techs on the phone and to be focused on their work. It's true what they say, when the cats away, the rats will play. I stopped into snappy nails on a whim after my normal salon had a long wait. It was a nice enough experience while I was there. There was a dog running around inside. I love dogs but I don't think it's professional inside a salon. The manicure has already begun to chip after 6 days. You'd think for $40 you would have a lasting manicure. I get regular gel manis and they always last two weeks. I pay $25 down the road and it lasts 2 weeks. I won't be back for that reason. read more

I completely disagree with all the rave reviews. I walked into the salon, which was about 100 degrees. I had a shellac mani that I wanted removed, and new shellac done. After soaking my nails for about 15 minutes (I was told she'd be back in 5), I was rudely confronted by 3 employees (while on the phone) about how my current mani was not shellac. One of the employees was even tapping my shoulder as soon as she came over. I was then whisked to a new station, where my shellac did come off, and was re-done. By far the slowest shellac mani I've ever had, and the color looks terrible. The tips of my nails are filed roughly. The woman who asked me what I wanted when I came on didn't tell my manicurist that I'd also requested a toe polish change, so that was hastily done on the floor while my shellac sat under the UV light for way too long. Definitely will not return. read more

First of all, she tried to file off my shellac! NO. She cut my cuticle when trimming them and was SO rough when cleaning up the sides while polishing. I told her she was rough and she just laughed. After all was said and done, I go to pay. It's $35, I say give her $5. Later that day I see that they charged me $45, instead of $40. When I called she said first that maybe she 'thought' I wanted to tip $10. I made very sure she knew that not only was that wrong, her manicurist was awful. I've heard that another Snappy in Denver tried to file off shellac too. Never again will I return to any Snappy Nails. read more

We have continually come here as males and never been turned away. Yes, there are times they are busy and cannot take us, but that post was not even close to what we submitted.
