I have an extremely low pain tolerance and usually struggle through waxes but Fadoua is a true professional and makes it easy for me. I'm able to hold a conversation with her through the entire appointment and she is so supportive. On top of my low pain tolerance, I have some body marks in the area we wax and she has never had any issues and is able to work around them as well as help with my ingrown hairs I'm very susceptible to. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone thinking about getting waxed for the first time or if you're a seasoned veteran at it! You can get 50% off your first Brazilian, or other select wax services free for the first time, and I received a $10 off coupon via email. You can also save by purchasing multiple waxes at a time. But I would say the price is the same here as other salons/spas and waxing studios, but there is less in the way of ambience. I could pay the same at a spa and get water, soft music and lighting, more privacy, etc. They kinda just get down to biz here. The aesthetician will not step out of the room for you to undress, and the lighting is harsh, so if that bothers you, you might prefer another waxing place, but I do prefer the no-nonsense, timely service I get at EWC.

This time, because I was in serious pain, I did the 90-minute combo for $85. Ooooooh. Owwww. The reflexology was wonderful and relaxing--the facial and scalp massage are done while your feet soak in a bucket of hot water--but the bodywork is INTENSE. My pain was mostly concentrated between my shoulder blades, and lower back. Like all Asian massages for pain, the process is painful. The therapist used her elbows on the knots in my shoulders. She found and kneaded out areas of tension. The massage finishes up with hot stones and a wipe with a warm towel to remove the oil. I'll admit that I was kind of happy when it was over, lol. But when it was, I felt SO much better!! I love this place. I hadn't been here in years (Coco Massage, their sister spa, is closer to my house), but they remembered me!

She certainly had no training. I asked for deep tissue, but she just gently rubbed my skin. I asked repeatedly for her to use more pressure and be harder. She just said OK, but nothing changed. My neck and back were just as sore when I left as when I arrived.
