Kendelle Koch she is amazing...she is patient and fun to chat with during your services

If you are looking for someone who cares, enjoys your company and truly is the best aesthetician...please come see Zoe! I have been seeing her now a little over a year I think and I am so incredibly thankful for her. Thank you Zoe for sharing who you are and allowing me update my life to you in the short amount of time that we see each other. You are such ray of positivity! The business would not be as incredible if they did not have you. Thank you for taking care of my skin and helping me to feel like my best self! You truly are one of a kind read more

I scheduled an appointment at 12, which is when they open on Sundays. Granted I was 6 minutes late to my appointment, but I could not get into the building. I understand they open near this time, however like I said, I was late myself. The doors to the building were locked and no one was inside. I gave them a call to let them know I guess I wouldn't be making my appointment since I couldn't get in. read more

The employees are nice but whoever runs this place needs to get it together. The hvac in here is horrible and it's hot as hell. I'd be ashamed if I was the owner. read more

Zoe is hands down the best ceralogist and lash tinter/lifter that I have ever been to! Waxing is basically pain free with her (regardless of time of month or how much caffeine I consume prior to coming in!). There are several WTC locations that are closer to my home and work than the Lone Tree location, but I go here specifically because of her. I trust her completely, have a great time chatting with her, she has fun and positive energy, and it's obvious that she truly cares about her clients and wants them to be completely happy with their results. I first came to this location for a one-time lash lift and tint, thinking I'd try it once but wouldn't do it a second time, but a year later I'm still seeing her regularly. I also want to give a shout out to Faith and her kind customer service skills! Thanks Faith and Zoe for always ensuring a positive experience! read more

I went in to Waxing the City for the first time in quite a while to get my eyebrows done and to do my first ever basic bikini wax. The online booking website is user friendly and easy to choose what you'd like done and know what your pre-tax and gratuity total will be. I didn't choose anyone in particular to do my waxes either. When I arrived, everyone was wearing a mask and was very friendly. I was paired with Marissa, who did a fabulous job. I was so nervous prior to the bikini wax portion because I've read all the horror stories about the pain but she was so quick and accurate that I didn't really feel any pain! I was shocked. I have always been a fan of WTC's wax formula and how they shape my eyebrows but I will absolutely be returning for other services in the future. 11/10 recommend Marissa if you're new to waxing or just nervous. read more

If you like to keep yourself prim and proper then this is the place to get waxed. The owners were fabulous. They were very patient and were happy to show you the salon and exactly what and where you would get waxed. It's a bummer I don't live here because I would go every couple weeks. But I do know I'll be coming here when I do come to Colorado which is about every other month. They are very professional and just want you to be happy before you leave. I was happy! read more

This photo speaks for itself. What kind of business fixes a problem by reaching out OVER A MONTH LATER to outright call the customer a lair? They did send me a pointless email the week of but THIS WAS UNCALLED FOR AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! JUST GROSS read more

Marissa did such an amazing job... no bumps! Great work! And the girl at the front was super sweet and kind, as I was late to my appt. Both girls gave me a great experience! read more

I needed to get my face buttered up for a photoshoot and fashion show and ended up at Waxing the City. My aesthetician was Marissa and she did a great job of helping me feel comfortable for the services I requested. Moreover, I was pleased that she left me with brows that still looked masculine but providing a clean look which is what I wanted. The experience was performed in a timely manner and the checkout procedure went pretty smooth as well and the entire staff at the location was friendly in passing. I definitely won't hesitate to come back to this Waxing the City Lone tree location. read more

I have been searching for a water since moving to Denver almost three years ago and I finally found the place!! Marina is AMAZING and is quick, efficient, and less painful then most wax's. I get Brazilians from her regular and will continue to do so! I have also seen Jen who is incredible too! This facility is clean, safe, and all employees I've come in contact with have been welcoming and informative! read more

After 12 weeks sans wax due to shelter in place orders in my home state of sunny California, I was so overjoyed to get a Brazilian here. The entire process of booking online and using the app to check in upon arrival to avoid waiting indoors was easy and efficient. Cerologist was experienced and did a great job. If I lived local to here would come back again in a heartbeat! read more

Marina has been the cerologist that I started coming to and I cannot rave more about my experience with her. She is so patient and sweet! I went to many waxing places before finding her at The Waxing city and she's the one that kept me coming back! Thank you for all you do Marina! You have a customer for life read more

Ok, this was totally going to be a 5 star review, until they did my eyebrows. About 6 weeks before a beach vacation I decided to try getting a bikini and leg wax for the first time. I was super apprehensive but Emily was fun and made the experience easy and virtually painless (for the uninitiated, the lower leg wax actually hurt compared to the bikini which was much easier). I then scheduled a follow up for a few days before my vacation as I was so please with the results of my bikini wax. The leg wax, not so impressed- it grew back faster than I expected and never felt 100% smooth. So, I decided to have my eyebrows waxed instead on this second visit. Again Emily did both waxes. Again, I loved my bikini wax, but on my eyebrows she went in way too far from center, like a full 1-2mm compared to the other. I hate when they show you a mirror and ask you how it is- once they take too much, the damage is done, so what do you say? I had her clean up a little around my arch and left. Only when I got home did I realize how pronounced the overwaxing on that brow was- almost embarrassing. None of this means I won't come back, which is why I'm still giving them 4 stars instead of less, but next time I will start with my telling her my bad experience to hopefully prevent it from being repeated. The other reason for 4 stars vs less is that it's super easy to schedule online or over the phone, the facility is immaculately clean and bright, and so far the ladies I'm met who work there are all wonderful people. I'm chalking it up to a bad one-time occurrence. And I will update accordingly after future experiences. read more

I went to see Jennifer for the first time on 1/31/16 for an eyebrow and modified bikini wax and I could not be happier with my experience! I dread getting waxed but Jennifer made sure my experience was as pain free as possible. She was professional, offered suggestions and visited. I did not feel uncomfortable at all. From the moment I walked in until I left, both Jennifer and the receptionist were very friendly and made my experience an amazing one! read more

Maraina's work is always impeccable and fast! I've been seeing her for years now for all of my waxing. Love her!!!!! read more

I thought this location would uphold the brand that the lodo location has set in my mind but boy was I wrong. I got a modified bikini and all though Samantha somewhat kept the conversation going her quality is well below what I expected from my experience. 1st, I'm pregnant. So I know that this means I am more sensitive to this kind of thing.. however if you have to tell someone that the wax is to hot 3 times and their only response is "well you're pregnant, so it's going to feel hotter.. I'll twirl the stick a few more times before putting it on you next time" it's a tad frustrating. No offering to lower the pot, no apology. The wax remained to hot for me for the rest of the appointment but I just dealt with it at that point. That's not all, when she was done and I got up to look at it, she butchered it. It is crooked not lined up on the top nor the sides. Typically I get a Brazilian and they do some extractions for me if I i have any in grown hairs (I don't know if that's only for the Brazilian service - I've never had to ask for it) but I was definitely hoping she would say something or do it as I have one and can't really see down there at this point due to my belly. Granted I could of said something, just never have had to. I had to ask my husband to tweeze me so it looks somewhat ok and to use a needle to get out my ingrown. I had been looking forward to this appointment for sometime. I have my maternity shoot this weekend and I'm doing some nude shots. I was hoping to get a clean look instead of what my husband managed to leave me with as a correction.... I typically have such a relaxing experience, one that makes me feel refreshed and that was not at all the take away from this appointment. Guess the women at the Lodo location will forever have my business, cause this location is far below the brand of waxing the city that I've come to know. read more

I've been coming to this location for 5 years, I always seen Marina, although there has been a few occasions when I've had to see one of the other girls(they're all great). I've never had any complaints, however since the management of this location has changed customer service has been terrible. The last time I called to book an appt they were pressuring me to book with a different cerologost, they told me she was booked however when I got online and looked she had several openings, the time before that they failed to let me know that my cerologist was sick and booked me with whoever was available instead of letting me know/rebook like in the past. There's no product on the shelves, and they're not welcoming and friendly like Ivana and Ak. I will not unfortunately recommend this location to friends anymore. read more

Alexandria is fantastic. She is the first technician that I have made sure to remember her name and always schedule her for my visits. She's fast, confident and a perfectionist. I've always been happy with my experience with her and schedule my next visit before leaving the building. I've been getting my waves from her for about 4 months now and I will continue to do so. They're automated system is great about reminding me with an email a few days before and when I've needed to reschedule, it's been really easy. read more

Alli was amazing! This was the first waxing appointment I have ever had, the staff and Ali made the experience amazing.

I heard alot is great things about this place. My boss was the president of it for some time and finally decided to try it out. The eye brows were great. No complaints there. When she did my lip. It all went down hill from there. The wax was way too hot. Which normally for me is fine. But this time it burnt me. I didn't notice it till I got home. Today I woke up with a some scaring from it. It really hurts. read more

I had an appointment to go in for a lash lift, lash tint, and eyebrow wax. As a single mom of two it is extremely difficult for me to get into appointments like this, but I was able to find a sitter for my kids and was anxiously looking forward to this. I booked the appointment online a week beforehand and the entire week I kept receiving emails about preparing for my appointment and to make sure if I can't go to please give 24 hour advance notice as their time is valuable (not to mention when I was in the Parker location previously they had signs posted stating effective such and such day if you don't give 24 hour notice you'll still be charged for 1/2 your services). The DAY OF my appointment, four hours prior to it, the owner calls me to tell me they don't have anyone there to do a lash lift. I told her that I scheduled it on the app and nowhere did it say that service wasn't offered at that location (as I noticed for other locations it does state that). I told the owner this is frustrating as I had been looking forward to this for a week and I'm getting called now and she said there's nothing she could do other than call the castle rock location because they can do it and maybe they could get me in soon. She also added that they've never had the capability to do that service. I told her to try Parker as that was closer than castle rock and the app didn't have a note saying they couldn't. She placed me on hold and called and came back and said Parker doesn't do them either and castle rock did. Asked if I wanted to keep the rest of the services without that one. I tried to get additional information as I had never had a lash lift before and she was so short and impatient with me and made me feel like I was just a bother at this point so I decided to just cancel. After getting off the phone with her I pulled up the app to try and book somewhere else and not only does it say they and Parker can do these services, under the castle rick location it says they can't!! Clearly they have no idea what they're talking about or aren't on the same page or whatever. But I do find it pretty asinine that it's an error on their end and other than offering to call another store, they can't even offer anything for the inconvenience...yet if I don't cancel with a 24 hour notice I get billed for half the services anyway. Guess I'll be finding somewhere else to do this since clearly they do not have their stuff together and completely lack customer service. #afrustratedmombiewhojustwantedtofeelconfidentagain read more

Awesome, fast, friendly, and as painless as painless can get doing the Brazilian. The stress balls helped!

Andrea is AMAZING!! My friend had been telling me about getting a Brazilian wax for about a year and I was always too nervous.. Andrea kept the conversation light by cracking jokes the whole time and I never thought I'd feel so comfortable considering someone you don't know is real close to your privates. She pays attention to detail and will tweeze anything she misses and take care of any in-growns you might have. I was smooth for about a month. I'll never go back to shaving and I'll never go anywhere else or to anyone else!! Plus my boyfriend went nuts over it!! read more
