I went in for a full set and from the beginning the experience felt awkward--like the technician didn't even want to do my nails. The acrylic application was extremely thick. I mentioned it, and he said he could file them down, but after about 30 minutes of filing they were still bulky. I was in the salon for nearly two hours, which is way longer than it should take for a basic full set. I asked for a coffin shape and was told it would be an extra $7, which I've never been charged for before unless nails are very long. Even after that, the final shape wasn't coffin--it looked square. The polish application was also very poor, and there was acrylic dust and debris left all over. Overall, the quality just didn't match the time or cost. On top of that, I was charged a $1.40 credit card fee with no visible signage beforehand. Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning and will be requesting a refund. read more

She offers amazing suggestions on nail shapes, colors and detailing and her work is impeccable. Every time I get my nails done everyone wants to know who does them because they look so amazing. I normally absolutely love this place, but today I went and it was absolute crap. I went for a pedicure with my 9yr old son. First they gave him crap for wanting blue polish on his toes then they told him his finger nails were disgusting and that he need to trim them. Which I'll be honest they had some dirt under them but to tell a 9yr old that his nails are disgusting was a little overboard AND his polish wasn't applied well. It's bumpy and not smooth and all over his skin. (See attached photo) The woman that was doing my pedicure didn't care about my comfort at all. She burned my feet with the paragon wax and pushed and pulled me without even directing me where to go. I'll be surprised if I'm not bruised tomorrow. She cut me with the cuticle nippers. I just couldn't believe it. Half the time during the service she was looking out the door or at the front desk and doing a crappy job. I selected the $45.00 pedicure option and it literally was worse then when I get a regular pedicure. The massage was nothing but her basically petting me. I couldn't wait for this shop to open near my home - the are located at Smoky Hill and Tower Roads, BEHIND Sonic and Wells Fargo. Great variety of product; Solar, color powder, gel, chrome, you name it and they can do it. The shop is well organized and the staff is very friendly. Not only that but they have all the nail selfs dusty and not well kept and not the biggest color collection. This was the second time I have come here. I had an appointment for 4:30. One lady finished doing someone's nails about 4:35 then she proceeded to puts around. She kept looking over at me. At about 4:40 she offered me to go sit at a station. I asked her how much longer it would be? She clearly had no idea and said 10 or 11 min. I said I'm going to leave I made an appointment for a reason. As I started to walk out she said I can put your tips on now. I said forget it. It is so disrespectful. I don't mind 10 min but it was clear that everyone was not anywhere near available to help me except her. I wish them well but I suggest either don't take appointments or ensure coverage for those appointments. read more

Today I had Amy, and she was FABULOUS I don't usually review people but I felt like she did an amazing job worth writing about. She doesn't speak that well of English but her co workers were able to easily help us communicate for more complicated questions. I did a gel pedicure and a dip/gel manicure and she did a great job. She was able to accommodate my requests perfectly without any issues. I came and I got exactly what I wanted which is harder for nails because there can be one or two mistakes that I might not necessarily want which is totally fine. If you want an accommodating listener then ask for Amy! And the salon doesn't differ with the quality. Everyone here works super hard and it's one of the few salons that are full and busy. If you are coming here make sure you call ahead for a reservation, and usually they can fit you in the same day. The people who run it are tentative and go around making sure everything runs smoothly. Overall, one of the best salons I've been to by far! read more

I've been going here for a few years and for the most part service was ok. I went in to get a pedi and a toe nail extension (with out a tip bc water gets underneath) bc the big toe nail is extremely short which I ALWAYS GET DONE, they removed the one they did last visit and agreed to replace it. Took my polish off, filed my feet etc then she refused to do the extension without adding a tip, I explained I wanted an extension with acrylic only because I tried the tip once and it was a nightmare bc water got underneath and discolored my nail. She refused! WHY? I've had it done without a nail tip for the last 8 YEARS! So I told her to stop the service so I can go get it finished some where else. They charged me $10 for cutting my toe nails and leaving the job unfinished. I went to another shop and they agreed to finish my pedi and did the extension exactly the way I always have had it. This is one of my favorite nail salons in the Aurora area. I have been coming to this place since I was in high school (which was a few years ago). This place used to be off Reservoir Rd., but has now relocated and is off Smoky Hill Rd. I love the new location and how clean it looks inside. The windows bring in a lot of natural light, which makes the place nice to go to as well. I typically like to schedule appointments with Phuong, as she is truly AMAZING at her job. This would be one of the owners of the nail place, along with her husband Vincent. These people are seriously the sweetest and are very welcoming. I've never been disappointed by the service I've received from these guys and if you are ever in the area, I would recommend coming here to check it out. They provide all the nail and spa services you would expect from a place such as this. I promise you will not leave disappointed and if you do, then go back to the place and they will not hesitate to fix anything for you. Hello, I hate to post a 1 star review but this was unacceptable and I hope this does not happen again. My mom went to this store to get a touch up and came home unusually upset and sad. She has been here before, and tips well- but this time she said she felt very unwelcome. She said the nail techs were laughing at her, talking and looking back at her since she walked in, and she waited in the lobby even though there were three techs available. I hope this isn't due to her skin color. We are all for supporting our Aurora businesses, and hope this review gives constructive criticism so we can come here and enjoy your service again. Tried multiple times hoping a different tech would be better never happened never spent less than 2 1/2 hours in that shop was criticized for the condition of my nails that they caused one time had fungus under a nail because they did not do the rebase properly, they had to replace my set to fix then charged me for it! I went to this place once and will NEVER come back! Right away when I walked in I did not feel welcome. One woman employee ( that "greeted" me) sat a walk-in client (an older white lady) before me ( an African American woman) when I had an appointment and had been sitting. When asked if I wanted my hands done too with my toes and I kindly declined she rolled her eyes and had an attitude with me the rest of my time. I got a pedicure and the job was mediocre and overpriced for the service. While another lady was doing my toes the first woman gave me dirty looks across the salon the whole time. And to top the whole thing off, once she was done with my nails she grabbed my side to walk me to the desk to pay as if I was going to run out without paying. As an African American woman, I feel completely racially profiled and disgusted with the attitudes of the women there. Not to mention this is during the pandemic which extra contact is unnecessary. I just left the place and though I should at least warn others. I give it a 2 stars because at least i got my nails done, but I would never visit this place again. I went in for the 1st time to get a rebase on my acrylic nails. And the lady treated me like crap. I've been getting my nails done for months, and i though i would give this new place a chance. Total nightmare. She didn't acknowledge me the whole time. I asked her for a specific design and she accepted immediately. Half way through my rebase she said she couldn't do it. She messed up one of my nails and refused to redo it. My nails are all crooked and misshapen. She went to tell me to move to the "drying station" where you can sit and have your nails dry before paying. So i sat down and left my jacket at the chair she came back and threw it on me and walked away. And then she had the audacity when i was paying to ask how much tip I was to give and didn't even say please nor thank you . Horrible! read more
