I wish I would have found Kim years ago. After spending a significant amount of money on a "top" esthetician at a high end salon in Greenwood Village who promised she would make my skin amazing (never did), changing my diet, plus countless products and medication prescribed by a dermatologist I had given up and went on proactive which ultimately did control my acne (quite frankly it was better than the thousands I spent on the other services) and ventured on my own to take care of my skin. I then decided to open my mind back up to facials as I was recently diagnosed with a skin condition known as melasma which again I was put on an array of very expensive products from my derm and told my days in the sun were pretty much over (it devastated me). He said come back in 6 months, we will go from there (thanks, I think). Well it's been 4 months and hundreds of dollars later there is not even a slight improvement and that is when I searched for someone who specialized in skin care...I found Kim through yelp and other social platforms with astonishing reviews. She is is truly amazing. I feel like I have found a specialist in skin care who should be taking care of celebrity's, as the results are that MIND BLOWING along with the time spent and education she provides to her clients. Her products are not cheap and as she puts it "if someone has you pay hundreds to just clean your skin, then save your money, you can do that at home" she also said if they are not educating you then also save your money, you should know what they are putting on your face and what benefits it will have short and long term. She is not there to waste your hard earn money she is someone who is compassionate about what she does, her clients and taking on your issues with a solid realistic plan. In addition, she doesn't make you feel embarrassed (I must admit I was ashamed going in there about y skin condition), she is professional, polite and takes her time. I only had 1 treatment with microderm and let me say I am VERY excited about this new journey/plan I have created with Kim. In addition, Kim confirmed I do not have melasma, I was burned by a prior wax job done at a nail salon, then I went to Miami and the sun did further damage (insult to injury). I feel so fortunate to have found Kim! Not only does she offer a wide range of high quality services, but she genuinely cares about me and my skin. Over the 8 months I've been going to her, I've seen a huge improvement in my skin, going from dull, dry, and irritated to soft, smooth, and blemish-free. I've been to some of the nicer spas around town and the biggest difference between them and Kim is that she takes her time, doesn't skimp, and invests in the best tools and products available. And, if you're like me, it's really nice to not have to drive downtown to receive such awesome care. Her house and salon are literally 8 minutes away from me. :-) My initial appointment with Kim was for a facial and microdermabrasion, but after chatting with her about my overall skincare goals, she recommended microneedling as well. Microneedling may sound scary at first, but Kim is very gentle and will make sure you are comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Although this was admittedly a bit of a time commitment for me, I stuck with her recommendation to do 5 monthly sessions, and I'm so glad I did. The fine lines and pores on my face have been drastically minimized, and even some of the sun spots on my pale, freckly skin have started to go away. She also focused on some of the rough skin and deeper wrinkles on my neck and chest and they've noticeably softened out. If you have sensitive skin like me, be aware that it will take a couple of days for the redness and flaky skin to mellow out from the microneedling. Aside from those services, I've also done a bunch of others with Kim including facial waxing, brow shaping, eyelash and brow tint, teeth whitening, and dermaplaning. She's great at all of them! Lastly, I just want to call out how kind Kim is. She is always very welcoming when I arrive for my appointments and will even make me a cup of coffee if she has time. If running late, she will sometimes set me up in her big massage chair (which is awesome). Her home is lovely, clean, and filled with beautiful plants and orchids that she takes immaculate care of. My wife has been seeing Kim for monthly facials for the past several years. Honestly, I wasn't exactly sure what my wife could possibly be doing with her face for three hours, but I was fine if it makes her happy. My wife had even asked me a few times if I'd be interested in getting a facial with Kim, but like a typical guy I never really felt the need. My skincare routine consists of washing my face with water and slapping on some sunscreen in the morning. Then I went on my most recent annual backpacking trip and got eaten alive by mosquitoes and no-see-ums. I had bug bites all over my face and hands, and after they had healed, they left a multitude of raised dark spots. I don't consider myself a vain person, but I'd prefer not to scare the people around me. It looked like I had some sort of skin disease. Just so you know, it's not as painful as it sounds, and it's better than looking like your grandpa with hair growing out of every orifice. Kim is quite literally my skin's lifeline. I have been seeing her monthly for about two years and my skin has improved drastically. Kindhearted and motivated by seeing her clients feel beautiful, Kim is unlike any esthetician I have ever been to. She takes a hard look at your skin every time you visit (yes, under the terrible magnifying light) to see exactly what is going on beyond the surface. She then customizes her facials according your YOUR exact issues - I don't think I've ever received the same treatment from Kim during my years of seeing her because she evolves as my skin evolves. The products she uses are insane - really high quality serums, masks, and moisturizers from all over the world based on her experience in France and Asia. You won't find the products and instruments she uses at most spas and you certainly won't receive a custom facial at a spa either. Her products for purchase are ridiculously reasonable and so effective. I really appreciate that she doesn't push product on you. But when she recommends it, buy it. It's worth it and she only recommends product when you really need it. Make sure you schedule in advance and leave several hours for your treatment. She's not limited to an hour like most spas and will do whatever she needs to fix your face. There have been several times when I thought I'd be in and out but after she examined my face, I was in there for 2-3 hours so she could be as thorough as possible. Yes, the price of monthly facials can add up, but there is no question of the value you get by going to Kim. a visit to Kim is a game changer in your skincare routine. I have been tending to my skin since I was 20... enlisting experts in NY, LA, Vegas and top spas around the World. Little did I know...that one of the best is less than 2 miles from my house! When I heard Kim started doing microblading for eyebrows, I knew I had to take the chance and have her fix my eyebrows. I have a scar on my left brow that doesn't allow hair to grow, so I've always been self conscious of my brows because they weren't as full as I'd like them to be. Filling them everyday was a hassle too because I am always rushing to be somewhere. Obviously my right and left didn't match either, and I've had so many people struggle with getting the shape of my brows right. Kim, she gets it perfectly. I chose to research about her service on yelp because of the fantastic reviews. Let me tell you, I wish that I found her sooner. There's a difference between Kim and all the other places. About a year ago I was having some acne problem and I told my mom about it. I thought about going to a dermatologist but my mom told me that her friend knows an amazing esthetician. So naturally I looked her up on Google and her yelp account showed up, and I was amazed just because she had 5 stars left and right. So I called her but she didn't answer and I left her a message. 10 minutes later she called me back and I booked an appointment with her. This was the beginning of the year right around January 20th. I have been to Kim since 2007. I knew right after my first facial visit that Kim is not just a normal facial lady like I have been to before that. I went in for a facial when I was in town and I have never had more of enjoyable time. When I walked into her room it was nicely decorated and soft music was playing which relaxed me. Kim asked about my skin problems and quickly diagnosed my issues and began working. The facial was originally set for two hours but she went longer to making sure all areas received proper attention. The funny thing is Kim would ask if she could have another 15 minutes because she was not done. Kim did not watch the clock like others, but insisted that the job was completed to her satisfaction (which I loved). When Kim put on my mask she did not leave the room like the others did and instead began messaging my neck and arms which put me asleep and before I knew it two hours had passed. When the facial was done my face looked like it had taken off 10 years. The great thing was after the next day my face looked even better then when I first left the salon. I love Kim. I've had the worst luck with dermatologists and other estheticians. Having Asian skin, it's tough. However, I'm so glad to have found Kim. I looked at her Facebook page and knew that she would be great for me because she uses Nuskin products. My signature facial was 3 hours long and Kim took extreme care to make sure that she customized the facial to my skin type. I decided after my facial that I wanted to do microblading. After another 3 hours of meticulous attention and care, I actually have eyebrows that are so natural looking. My eyebrow bone structure was a bit challenging but Kim was persistent. She always does her best to make you look good. Because of my high cheek bones, she extended my eyebrows to soften my face. I totally agree that Kim is a Master Esthetician. Even though she is extremely busy with other clients, she gives you the time that is necessary!!! Before I met Kim, every time that I did a facial I left the place unhappy and not pleased with the results. She takes the time to know you, your face and your daily routine to determine the best approach for you. The facial takes at least three hours but is worth it. I highly recommend facials from KIm. I have been coming to Kim for about 8 months now. She lavishes time, attention, product that leaves me feeling like Mom just made me beautiful. I have had both the 2 hour facials which include ( if I can remember, because I zone out in deep relaxation somewhere in the middle), steaming, scrub, massage, masks, vitamin applications etc. Her microderm abrasions are gentle, also put me to sleep(!) take at least an hour, and she always sends me out well protected from the elements.
