This place is very hit or miss. The first time, I saw Son for an acrylic full set with very detailed nail art and she killed it. It was perfect and she was so sweet, I loved every part of it. I recently came back for another set because I was going on vacation. I didn't catch the tech's name, but honestly I hated the set. I got a pedicure along with the full set, and it felt like they were rushing to get me out of there. The nails were lumpy and uneven, there was acrylic sticking out into my skin, it was messy and not what I wanted. After my trip, I came back for a take off and regular manicure. I had Taylor. She was nice. She cut my cuticles without asking. I would've said yes anyway, but she nicked me multiple times. She rushed through my manicure, I didn't get gel and she didn't let each layer dry before adding another. When I left, my nails were dry on the outside but the polish was not dry all the way through. I ended up removing it with acetone as soon as I got home, because it was squishy and messy. Have to agree with the hit or miss of this salon. *made an appointment and went during slow/midday time* Went for what I was thinking would be a relaxing mani/pedi ahead of baby. The longest basic pedicure - 2:15-3:40 for a basic pedicure! No gel, not even clipping bc I prefer to do that myself ahead of going in to make sure the length is short enough. I had to ask multiple times for my seat to be moved back, my toes kept hitting the front of the tub so it was not a relaxing experience. The paint was smudging and the tech kept using acetone to "clean up" where it now just looks like it bled onto my skin. A different tech did my gel manicure. Cuticles look completely untouched even after she cut me twice and commented that my hands were too dry. I left over tipping, with a smudged toe and very unimpressed. I will not be back and will go back to the salon I typically go to down the street for an updated pedicure before baby arrives. I just had a great manicure with them (Luxx) in September which is why I went back. A woman next to me had commented that she hadn't had her legs massaged yet as they started painting her toes and the second tech looked up and said "after we paint". First time here, and I live less than 5 minutes away. I've passed by almost daily on my way to the groceries, which never caught my attention. The facility was very bright and spotless (which to me matters tons) and is quite fancy, which is nice but not my main priority. My main priority is quality for the amount of $$$, excellent service, exactly getting what you asked for, and the facility's cleanliness. Everyone was friendly and professional. My technician, Mary T. # 004, was very friendly and did a good job. However, it could've been better, in my opinion. Why? My feet generally are not in bad shape, but I love the pace of the service, the attention to detail, the foot massage and exfoliation. The other place I go to (which I didn't this time because they were full) is because they take their time; their massage is for 5 min on each leg. (Main reason for a pedicure is to relax, right, and that massage is a for most women) They seem to have a loyalty reward card program according to the printed receipt; however, I am not 100% sure since no one said anything about royalty rewards when becoming a customer. I am looking forward to coming back one more time and giving it a second chance. I didn't take pictures of the inside because there were many people this Sunday before the 4th. So I didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable--next time. Price-wise is pricey! And make sure the technician knows or understands what you want. I kept telling her I wanted Deluxe Pedicure for $45, and she continued over and over (3 times), referring me to the one above, which is the same service but $10 more because the products are "organic." I was in town for the week and I lost a nail. I needed to have it replaced. They squeezed me in at the end of the day and almost an hour after closing to finish my pedicure and my fill. We started out a little rocky. Because one of the women was trying to do my fill while I got my pedicure. I explained to her that I was feeling very rushed and but I wanted to wait to have my nails done until the pedicure was finished. So they found someone else to do my nails. Pedicure went great. But after the palace was taken off we realized that I needed to replace the acrylics because there were several that were coming up. She did an awesome job. My nails look great. Beware this place! They ruined my nails using a very course metal burr to remove my gel. It hurt!! I told the nail tech 3 times it was hurting me and she just kept on doing it. Also I always felt no one wanted to do my manicures because I'm a little older. As I said they ruined my nails and now I have to try to grow them out and let them heal. read more

I feel like my experience may have been a little better had I gone earlier in the day. I got a deluxe pedicure, an acrylic gel set, & eyebrows waxed. Everything took about 2 1/2 hours to complete. The staff was nice and got me in immediately (on a Saturday). The atmosphere was as expected, one of the nicer/bigger nail salons I've been to. They had one tv channel that played nothing but food videos & honestly it was a vibe! In total without tip the price came to $130ish. Update: I'm updating my review as the business owner Tina reached out and was very concerned with my satisfaction. Tina assured me she wanted to make sure my nails were fixed and I was happy with them, she also stated their policy allows customers to come back within a week to get your nails fixed if there's anything wrong with them. I thought this was nice especially considering most salons will charge you regardless for repairing a broken nail. I went back in and Kim and Tina helped me fix my nails. I thought it was really nice for Tina to reach out and Kim did a fantastic job. Because of the second experience I had and how hard Kim and Tina worked to win me over as a customer spoke volumes about how the staff cares for their clients. I would recommend this salon, I'm so impressed with their customer service and Kim was great! I'm so sad to write this review but I've never had my nails fall apart after getting them done in less than 24 hours. I went in yesterday evening and Kim gave me a beautiful set of dip nails with a winter design, and honestly she did a great job with the look. However, an hour after leaving I noticed my thumb nail looked cracked, I am very gentle on my hands and just left the salon so I didn't think much of it since I've never had a nail break before. Then a few hours later my top coat was peeling off. I spent $80 and my nails are broken and peeling and I haven't even had them done for more than 24 hours. The woman who did my pedicure was very sweet but not experienced ,she did not seem to be comfortable doing callus removal and my feet are still rough after asking her several times to take more off. Tammy did my full set and was very kind but she was not able to do the very simple design (French tip) and she insisted on me letting her continue to attempt and still did not get my desired result. I have been getting my nails done here for the past 6 years by the same nail tech. Service has always been great and the quality exceptional. Last week I called to make an appointment with my tech but was told she was booked the day I needed to come. I I decided to go anyway as a walk-in because I had a special occasion the next day. When I got there, I noticed that my regular nail tech was busy doing somebody else's nails. As my pedicure began, a young girl came over to start the process of soaking my gel polish off. While my gel polish was soaking off, my regular nail tech finished with her client and came over to me. She asked who was doing my nails. I told her it was a young girl and pointed her out. She asked why she wasn't doing my nails. I explained that I had called earlier and was told she was booked solid for the day. She confirmed that she was not and she was available to do my nails at that moment. Obviously, I opted for her. The young girl returned to begin doing my nails and I told her that I wanted my normal gal to do it. She got very upset and argued with me. Then she stomped off after she realized I wasn't changing my mind. Later, I found out the young girl was the manager. I couldn't believe it! I was aware that the salon was taken over by new management recently but I really hope this is not a forecast into the future of the salon. If the manager is going to treat customers like that they may be in trouble. I would hate to have to find another nail salon. read more

Dropped in on Sunday afternoon for a walk in eyebrow waxing appointment. Nice greeting from the front desk staff and I was asked to sign in on the tablet system. The salon is very pretty inside. The waxing room is typical--closet like with a small place to lay down. The woman who did my eyebrows was very thorough. I liked how they turned out and how clean the place seemed. The salon is extremely clean, there are hundreds of colors to choose from (regular polish, shellac, and dip), and the service can't be beat. I have had nail technicians who are detailed, but Jack is far superior. I had a full set of acrylics put on today, he made sure each and every nail was even, smooth, and was the right shape. Taylor at Luxx has done an amazing job with my nails for years now. Recently I have started doing this airbrush look for my manicures, and Taylor is the queen. She does an amazing job as you can see in the picture. The entire staff at Luxx is very attentive. I have never been disappointed. Luxx is absolutely the place to go. I get manicures regularly, pedicures all summer, and waxing as needed. It's all there. Prices are competitive. If you want the airbrush manicure, be sure to let them know when you book the appointment since it takes a little longer than a standard dip. But it's well worth it. read more

Everything actually went well during my pedicure. I was able to relax, read my book, & watch some football while having my feet taken care of. I also brought my two daughters & wife to have their manicures and pedicures. Today one female worker in a red shirt turned the last few minutes of our experience upside down. My wife and kids are still inside letting their fancy nail polish dry, while I run out to grab my wallet because the wife didn't bring our joint credit card I wanted. I told the lady in the red sweater I'd be back and she nodded ok, but proceeded to lean over to my wife 3x to say 'He better come back.' My car was visible from the front window & I was gone for less than 3 minutes. Out and immediately back inside after retrieving my wallet. Now this is what we call that micro-aggression RACISM. I guess!? My wife told me after we left what she said because I would've turned into a monster. All I've done for this country as a soldier and I get automatically assumed to be a possible thief. I have a $700 iPad in my hand, $700 Apple Watch on, $1100 iPhone in my hand & supposedly this black man is going to leave his family behind and run out on his $200 bill! Ridiculous! I know they'll say they're not racist because I saw a few black regulars inside calling some workers by name. I really, really wanted to love this salon. I've heard great things and it's actually pretty close to my home. The staff was very friendly, everything was very clean, and there were many color options to choose from. One few problems... A few nails started chipping on the tips after about six days and around day 10, some of the gel completely peeled off of a couple nails. Some nails still have 100% of the polish and won't peel like the others. Now I'll have to get a manicure sooner so that all my nails can have gel since they look bad. Got there at my appointment time 4:30pm(scheduled full set and pedicure). The curly haired girl at the front desk put a sour taste in my mouth. Not friendly!! The chick doing my pedicure was not friendly and didn't seem to understand anything. Btw I decided after the way the place made me feel that I didn't want them touching my hands!! My pedicure cost $30 I tipped her $10 btw even though I was upset!! The whole vibe in there was very terrible!! Will never return again!!! I have referred people here but I'm going to get the word out on this place. Also, I think the lady who did my pedicure was Chan but not sure since she didn't tell me her name or even ask me "how is your day" nothing!!! This has been my go to nail salon and I've continued to go there even after moving farther away. The salon is cute and clean and the staff is always nice. I was disappointed in a recent pedicure. The gel polish feels clumpy and they cut my nails so short. Pedicure almost looked better before the pedicure. I hope the staff isn't changing. She was so kind and welcoming and very open to trying different designs. She ended up staying 2 hours past there closing time and no one ever does that. And she did not mind it at all. She saw my cuticles were in need of some help and she clipped them as a courtesy not only the clip she added some ointment for my cuticles. She is the best. I had really high hopes for this nail salon after finding it through the yelp app and seeing all of the great reviews. I booked an appointment for 12:30 for a dip rebase. I ended up leaving around 3 pm. It took almost 2 1/2 hours for what normally would be an hour or so long service. I was confused as my nail tech kept redoing my top coat and it wouldn't dry and he ended up redoing it about 6-7 times. In addition, while booking the appointment i was told the rebase would cost $40, when i got my check they charged me $45 plus an extra $5 for the shape of the nail, but since it was a rebase the nail was already shaped. The customer service was good and i could tell they were as frustrated as i, but in the end I wasn't very satisfied with my service here unfortunately. The end product of my nails didn't meet my expectations. Update: Who I assume is the owner, Tina, reached out to me via text and offered me a chance to come back in and get my nails redone for free. I went back in and had a new nail tech and my nails ended up perfect! I had no issues and it was all done in a timely manner.
