I just had an amazing experience at Aloha Nails! This is a wonderful establishment. I called on a Friday to make sure we could get in the next day around 12. They had no problem fitting me in. When I arrived, I was shown right back after picking the color of my choice. The people were very friendly and professional. I used to live right down the street from here a few years back and would come here rather frequently to get my nails done, so as I knew I was going to be in the neighborhood I decided to give them a try again. I will say they definitely used to be 4 stars but I don't know the service I had received this time was meh. Like the ladies were nice and all but I felt like my lady really rushed through the service and maybe didn't do the best job. If I were to have any recommendations it would be rather than trying to get through the service so fast (I had the first appointment at 9:30am and was only one of two people there so it wasn't like they were busy) maybe take a little extra time to buff the nails (I do dip powered so if not buffed a good amount it can appear lumpy) so it looks like and smooth. I don't know maybe I just caught them on an off day. As I don't think ownership changed I would probably give them another chance if in the neighborhood as I mentioned they definitely used to be a bit better; so if I happen to do that I'll update the review and keep you posted but this time was just meh for me. read more

Unfortunately, I left with an infection that required a Drs visit and antibiotics. I did speak with the manager, who spoke to the owner and we worked it out with ease (but they wanted a copy of my Drs note). If I could give this establishment zero stars I would. I just paid $30 for someone to cut my toe nails, wash my feet, barely lotion them up, and paint them. I went because I noticed over COVID I had developed a callus on both heels. Apparently callus shaving or whatever you call it is not included not even a scrub. I just wasted $30. I came in here with two friends and we were first in line for gel manicures and a regular pedicure. We arrived at 11 and left around 2. Our friend was left sitting in the pedicure chair without any sort of communication for at least an hour, got her pedicure, and had to leave early to get to her kids. It took over an hour and a half for her to get half of her service finished. I got a manicure by someone who did a very good job with the painting, but made the mistake of putting on a base coat instead of the top coat - it didn't come out shiny so they put on another base coat by mistake...then finally realized it was the wrong coat and put on a top layer. By then, I had 7 layers of gel on my fingers, and although it looked perfect for a day, it all peeled off at the tops of my nails within 24 hours, and easily popped off of my nail - clearly I pulled the rest off in the photo, but it was so peeled up on every nail. I've never had that happen. I live far away and called in hopes of a refund, but they only offered to have me come back - which I don't want to drive that far for a manicure that wont stay on and potentially wait for hours again. Not worth it... but Bia was a nice person. read more
