Walking in we were greeted with a warm welcome. The space is bright and airy with nice plants all around. I received a pedicure, and the lady was so friendly, personable and listened to my requests. I've been coming here for a couple of years. but I am currently looking for a new salon due to price gauging and quality has declined. The salon has had its mix of service, but overall a decent place, nice people and reasonable prices. I'd give 4 stars a year ago. Currently, I give it 2.5 for quality versus pricing. Over the last 4-6 months, every time I leave the salon, my nails chip within the week, often when I am typing at work. My total bill amount seems to increase/change with each visit and many standard services are being changed into additional upcharges. I know upcharges are common and this is not my issue. However, when these extra fees become exorbitant, it impacts the entire service. I like the people, not the prices, so if you go....always ask "how much" every time they ask you a question. read more

Since having foot surgery I was afraid to let anyone touch my feet. On this cold December day I decided it was time as I desperately needed a pedicure. It was 330 and I was able to walk right in and sit right down with out wait...oh yes don't forget to pick your color. Pedicures are not a bad price: 22 for Regular 35 for Deluxe I opted for the Deluxe, for sea salt scrub and parafin dip and about a total of an hour of attention was a decent upgrade. After nail salon started opening back up during the pandemic, my mom and I found ourselves at Trendy nails. I get dip with Jenny and my mom gets Shellac with Hayley. They both do such an amazing job and work as a team. Hayley always comes to us with ideas for some nail art and the day I brought my daughter, she paired a perfect Stitch on a tiny nail. The location is near me and have been once before and had a really good experience. This one was not. The young lady was not very interactive I asked about a color and a design nail would cost she told me. I informed that I did NOT want my nails cut down or evened out. I asked to leave one nail on each hand a natural color. Let's just say I didn't get that and then she reshaped my nails without asking to square rounded. Not what I wanted. The only reason I gave this place a 1 star is because 0 isn't an option. I had my nails done with shellac on Saturday the 24th of February; and they've literally peeled off after 6 days. On top of the technician taking forever, doing a horrible job putting on the nail polish, not understanding when I said I was allergic to her gloves, cutting my cuticle to the point it made me bleed, and forgetting the base coat on my nails. I paid 80$ and it was not only a horrible experience because of their lack of care, but it didn't even last a week! Also, none of the nails were the same length when I walked out. If I hadn't been with a friend who goes there regularly, I would have made them redo the entire thing or take it off and refused to pay, but we were on a time crunch. I came in today to get a regular full set done. The nail tech I had was so rude! She was tossing the tools she was using on my nails and some would land in unsanitary areas. She didnt say one word to me other than " wash hands". She was rushing through and hirt my nails multiple times. I tried to have a conversation with her and she just wouldn't answer. She definitely had an attitude and didnt want to be there. Which is fine with me. I didnt request her to do my nails, in fact I would have waited for another tech. I was told to sit at a spot that nobody was at, and I sat there for about five minutes before I was told to go to someone else. The girl that did my nails constantly jerked my hand around instead of asking my to reposition it. I've been getting my nails done for about 5 years, and I've never had someone be that aggressive with my hands. She didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. All of my nails are really thick, and there is a lot of excess acrylic under most of my nails. The gel application is subpar, and there is gel on my fingers. If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I went here about 4 years ago for a pedicure and got a toe infection and didn't go back until yesterday out of convenience. I thought there was no way it could happen again and yet here we are. The lady dug into the side of my big toe and ripped and I mean ripped the skin as she thought she was cutting off a part of my toenail that was digging into my skin. It hurt pretty bad which is already not a good sign while receiving a pedicure which should be PAINLESS. It immediately became red as she pressed on it asking "oh is this ok?" It was not ok. No special polish or design, just the run-of-the mill set.And they charged me $30 for my little daughter's mani/pedi, when I was quoted $25. I'm going to be honest, I'm not sure why this place has such a low rating on yelp. They have almost 5 stars on Google but I have a feeling people don't really use Yelp like that anymore. I was there yesterday and I got a full set and a pedicure. Although I had to wait outside for about 20 minutes, I have no issue with that because of COVID-19 But I definitely feel that they are taking the proper precautions in order to keep the customers safe.
