I am visiting from out of town and hesitant to cheat on my nail lady back home, but I feel so much better knowing that I am getting a solid pedicure. Currently I am drying my nails and don't even care that I am leaving this review in the establishment. The overall nail shop is clean. There are plenty of colors to choose from and seats. I was a walk-in and signed in to get a pedicure. The host was polite. I was asked to sit at seat number 8 all the way in the back. The woman who did my pedicure seemed angry that she was doing my nails. She was rough with my feet and unfriendly. I didn't ask for her name and don't care to know it. She left me in the chair for my nails to dry and didn't care to check on me until I showed the rest of the staff how bothered I was. Once she finally came back she quickly put the top coat on. I had to ask where the nail drying station was. She pointed towards t he window. It is common curtesy in a nail shop to pick up the clients bag and shoes to walk to the drying station. She turned on the machine and walked off. I will never be coming back here. Luckily the nail color I chose is very pretty. read more

I have been going to Tee for a few years now but today will be my last! She complained she was tired/I get it we all have those days. But her attitude seems to keep getting worse every time and I'm done! Every time she does my nails for the last few years I go home and have to file and pick remanence underneath my nails. If you even mention something on your nails you want fixed she gets annoyed and upset and acts like she could care less. She does not pay attention to detail and honestly hasn't the whole time I have been getting my nails done by her, but I have just been dealing with it. Well today NO LONGER! The others there are all right(they are all pretty nice besides Tee these days). She needs some serious work on customer service! Like I said I have been dealing with it for a long time. I'm going to spend my money where I don't get attitude. I always tip! Always! I'm done wasting my time on places where people don't matter! They do a ok job which is why I kept returning plus they have lots of color options. The main reason I never reviewed this place is because quite honestly I wasn't fully happy but it was just convenient. I never wanted to put the salon or Tee down even though I had my reservations about the place. But after today and me "being picky" I could take no more! I never felt I was picky about my nails until moving here. It's been a real struggle but it honestly doesn't matter how long you have been doing nails, if you never learned the right way then all those years go in the trash. Also, mind you I was a regular every 2 weeks and brought my daughter in with me for a fill and pedicure regularly. I spent good amounts of money here($350 or more a month), but I will not support a place who doesn't care about what keeps them busy(paying customers). I have been here 3 times and got ok service. I've mostly done walk ins. This time I got the older lady with the birth mark on her neck. At first she was very nice smiling asking me what I wanted. Then she bullied me into getting dip said the Cat eye effect needed the dip. I was very nice but I did want them to look good. She was paint over hair fibers that were on the brush I asked her to nicely remove them hoping she would catch on. She was filing my nails and left a really big knick in one and I asked is she could smooth that one out and she was so upset. She LAYYYYYERRRED on the dip I've never had it so maybe it's supposed to be so thick it looks like dragon scales but I hated it. I had to nicely ask if she could paint the sides of my nails as she was just painting the top. Later when we were about to do the cat eye I asked to see the colors because she didn't understand a thing I said and she turned around a YELLED ACROSS THE WHOLE SALON "LET ME DO MY JOB!!!!" at this point I knew she wasn't going to be nice and the experience was ruined. It was very important to me my nails looked good for my trip and I left in tears. I have never seen such a lack of attention to detail and professionalism. Got a pedicure here three weeks ago having to go to the hospital. My left great toe is completely infected under the nail and draining everywhere gross stuff-and hurts a bit.... I hate to say it, but I think they are reusing the bags that they put in the foot part to soak your feet in, and I saw some grating tools that look like they were being reused....very upset- toe draining loads of puss. If I have to pay extra for it the expectation is that it should last. The mani/pedi service itself was ok, but one day after getting it done, my fingernail polish was chipping off. I don't get gel nails because I have skin cancer, but I shouldn't have to. I've had plenty of mani/pedis and so I know it isn't about my nails. I don't do anything excessive with my hands which would cause this either. Also, some of my nails weren't cut evenly. Went here for the first time today-- needed to get acrylic nails removed and wanted a manicure with gel polish. The salon is clean and nice, I did have to wait about 20 min after my appointment time to be seen. The lady who started doing my nails was going very fast with the drill and I had to tell her to slow down because it gets really hot for me (thin, sensitive nails here). She did seem a bit annoyed and told me if she can't use the drill it will take 2 hours to soak them off. She did end up wrapping them with acetone for about 10 min and then she was able to slowly drill them off. After that she talked to me some more and did a wonderful job with my manicure and the gel polish. She even did an extra base coat and polish coat to help thicken and strengthen my thin nails. I will go back to try them out again for a pedicure and will update my review for that. It's very hard to find a good nail salon so I'm glad I tried this place. read more

I was so happy (after the whole Covid thing slowed down after quarantine) to see this shop renovated and back open with new ownership. Gone was the old stinky depressing shop, and in was a new boutique feel, with no stinky sewage smell that the previous owners never took care of. The first several times I went in everyone seemed nice enough. I am an excellent tipper, always being very generous when I am pleased with the service. I'm talking $15 tips or more on top of my bill. I have left an extra 20 or more a few times. Well the very last time I went in, I had a misunderstanding with the nail tech, Who has done my nails several times in the past. Misunderstanding, as in I did not quite understand what he was saying and he could not quite communicate back with me clearly. It was truly nothing that was a huge deal, but he started doing that thing with the female tech next to him, ( Who by the way also speaks perfect English) where they start talking about you in the language only they understand. With her sitting right next to him, you would think that she would try to help in the communication area. But nope. When I tried to explain my position and the situation to her,she had nerve to lie to me and say they were talking about something else, when it was obvious they were talking about me. My daughter was sitting right next to me and she knew it too. The female tech even did a (who cares) hand gesture towards me while they were talking about me which made it even more obvious. And by the way that same female nail tech that did my daughter's nails, cut my daughter's cuticles to where they were bleeding. Band-Aid bleeding. The tech that did my nails usually does an hombre nail on me and they usually look OK to great, but this time they look like crap. There's nothing like an angry nail tech fuming over a stupid misunderstanding, filing away at your nails with obvious tension. He was so mean and rude it was unbelievable. I was even more shocked because like I mentioned before, this tech had done my nails several times before and I thought of myself as a regular. I have recommended the shop to so many people, but now I am very disappointed in the unprofessionalism. You can tell that now that they've built their customer base, their customer service is going down hill and I expected to continue to do so. The owner is nice and tries her best, but obviously she doesn't have much to say when it comes to her techs putting down her well paying customers over a language barrier. I have always been extremely nice and polite, and I will continue to be so. Just not here. I took the highroad and I still left a great tip as my final time going to this shop. Someone who appreciates my patronage deserves my money. I have over 260,000 views from my google Reviews ( including photos) which means to me, reviews matter. I will be putting this review there as well. My advice is for businesses to remain professional and to be kind in every instance, (especially when your customer is not being difficult or rude) because you never know what kind of influence your customers have. My advice to anyone looking to get their nails done, is that there are so many other places you can go where you will be treated kindly and get exceptional service EVERY time you go, and where your money will be appreciated. I called and spoke to someone to schedule an appointment for pedicures for 3 people for 12:30. I never received a text confirmation like usual. when we arrived we were told my appointment was at 3 pm. never once was 3 pm mentioned. I realize mistakes happen but there was no apology or no mention that we could try and arrange another time. They were not that busy.
