So happy I found a location that's closer to my work site in DTC. I usually go to the Lakewood…read morelocation but this one had a different vibe - not as busy/loud and had a nicer layout. The location is very modern and open. I started going to Nest about 2 months ago after a horrible experience at another nail salon (a cheapy nail salon you see in every shopping plaza). I wanted to find a place that's clean and reputable. Nest is a bit expensive but trust me, it's better to spend a little extra to avoid future headaches. I feel my nails are safe at this nail salon. They give you a goodie bag your first visit (cuticle oil and file). I've been using the oil consistently and my cuticles are much better! I love that they make you wash your hands before you pick out your colors. Every nail salon should do this. After each person they wipe down their stations and change files (disposable ones are used). Sanitation is key and Nest definitely felt clean at both locations. I had Monique today and she did a wonderful job! She was very friendly and experienced. The only downfall with Nest is that you have to be on top of your appointments. Before you leave, schedule that appointment. They usually fill up quick so make sure you are on top of that. I didn't have an issue scheduling appointment with this location but with the Lakewood location is so much harder. Will be back.

It's a spotlessly clean place, with new-looking pedicure chairs and sparkling clean iridescent bowls, which they line with disposable plastic for pedicures. They have a variety of luxury pedicures, starting at $30 for the basic (and I paid $3 extra for "callus care," which is normally included at my other pedi place) and going up in price and services. They offer luffa scrubs and scented soaks. I brought my own polish, but their selection is huge. The man who did my pedicure was polite and competent. They let me stay in the massage chair until my toes were dry, which I greatly appreciated. He also put a little oil on my toes before I put my socks back on, so the polish wouldn't smear. I will probably stick with my usual place for basic pedicures, because Le knows my feet, but I might return here for a luxury pedi if I want to pamper myself.

The pedicure was extremely rough with no massage or foot scrub. When we started the Gel X, I was asked to hold the light myself, and the tips were applied crooked and halfway down my nails. After asking for them to be fixed, I was told they couldn't be placed any closer to my cuticle. I eventually asked if someone else could do them and was told they had been busy that day. I completely understand being busy, but I called ahead and made an appointment specifically for Gel X. I would have much rather been told they couldn't accommodate it. I wasted over 2 hours and now have to go somewhere else tomorrow to get my nails done.

They won't trim your cuticles or clean your nails prior to paying for acrylic or gel. They legit charge you very unethically. Today I got charged $8 for cuticle clean up and charged for nail shape!! I already had this same nail shape, it was a fill. The total came to $55 for fill, plain gel, nail shape. This was with a 5 % discount. They do try to tell you the cost up front, but that cost always changes each time even for the same thing. April has the nastiest attitude!! Also, they talk crap about you and other customers(turn on your translation app and you can see for yourself). I hate tipping her and I always do, but today was the last day I will give them my business. I go regularly every 2 weeks, not anymore!! They not only lost me, but they also lost my daughter. I will spread the word about this shady establishment. Also, if they want to charge what they charge they need better skill. Not so sloppy and better colors. Not sure why I put up with April for so long?! I always left mad!! She really isn't a very happy person. Bye bye!! Again avoid April!! Avoid this place!! I put money they won't much longer.

It's a busy salon both times I've been but the techs are quick and efficient with their work. I've noticed that they play a repeat of funny dog videos which is cute the first two times you watch the videos but it's just a replay so after about 15 minutes, one can get pretty bored while getting their nails done. Luckily this last time my nail tech did talk to me a bit while she did my nails. I asked for gold flakes and she delivered! I will be coming back for my nails. I also was informed that there is a discount if paid in cash which we love.
