Immediately I called them and was met with a wonderful woman on the phone who is very happy to take me in for a same-day appointment for acrylics and nail art. I ended up seeing Sammie, who did my nails and I would highly recommend anyone who wants detailed nail art to go see Sammie. Sammie blew away my expectations. She gave me the nails of my dreams. Whimsical, Gothic, yet still very colorful. I gave her a few inspiration photos and she created the set from the photos I gave her with her own unique spin on them. She absolutely crushed it. I am heading to a wedding and decided to get my nails done. I made an appointment at Trendy Nails, but the GPS took me to Lavish Nails. Guess they changed their name. Anyway, the place looked nice and clean and the people working there seemed nice. My technician was also nice and tried to be friendly. However, I was very unhappy with my nails. My cuticles were not taken care of, the nail shape varied, the nails weren't completely or evenly painted, I didn't get a hand massage (which I thought was a pretty typical expectation for a manicure), and he cut two of my fingers but didn't wipe the blood with alcohol or antiseptic to prevent infection. It was hard to get good photos, but I tried. Nice folks, but I paid almost $60 for a not great manicure/acrylic set. Way too much money even if they had done a good job. read more

The dip lasts the longest in town and looks great every time. I've been coming here every two weeks for 2 years and the service and quality is consistent. I came here after finding them on Yelp and unfortunately I was pretty disappointed with my experience and my nails. I made an appointment for 9:00 am, when I arrived they were busy which was expected for a Sunday morning. I showed them a picture of some stiletto ombré nails they previously done which I wanted done as well. I did ask for different colors and confirmed with the lady at the front that she could do it, she told yes. The lady that I assume was told to prep my nails was rude, she continuously muttered stuff in Vietnamese under her breath when I would ask her to make my nails sharper or fix something or when I would simply just look at the nails. She left my nails lumpy, uneven, and they clearly have no apex whatsoever. When I asked her to fix the weird bead of acrylic she left on my thumb she rudely told me to just go wash my hands. I was then switched to another lady to finish my nails, she tried to fix the previous work but didn't really do much and although she got the colors right I wasn't happy with my nails I really just wanted to finish,pay and leave. This salon is not only extremely clean, and the staff is not only extremely friendly, but they also make sure they do right by their customers. I went in for a regular pedicure and they did great! The employees were all super sweet and they had a huge variety of polishes to choose from. The pedicure itself cost $50 which isn't too bad since I got gel polish, and they did charge an extra $5 to remove my previous gel polish which wasn't too bad since it took a little bit to remove and they had a more effective process in removing in which I really liked. I had a very unfriendly, unwelcome experience at Lavish Nails on Tamarac Drive. It's the first and last time I would ever visit this place. The technician that did my pedicure didn't say more than two words to me, not even asking what my preferences were.
