Wanted to update this review to make it more coherent: Went to this place 3 times, first had a relative okay experience, semi crooked nails but overall good experience. Second experience was amazing, different nail tech, fixed the crooked nails from the first visit. Third and last visit, the same tech from my first appointment, had a painful experience with the nail drill and blood drawn, tech twisted my fingers in very uncomfortable positions, tech gave me the wrong color which was $15 more due to it being chrome when i originally asked for periwinkle glitter blue, not chrome metallic blue. The nails were crooked. Tech did not tell me that the chrome was $15 so I didn't know until i went to pay that the color he incorrectly gave me was $15 more. The tech argued with me, and still expected a tip. I paid for the service and walked out without tipping. read more

Everyone is always friendly, there's usually little to no wait, and they're more than happy to try new designs if you bring photos - they always nail it :). I've been seen by just about every nail artist here and they're all amazing, especially Julie. What truly sets this place apart for me is their skill: I have extremely thin skin and stopped getting my nails done for years because I was constantly getting cut by drills at other salons. I've been here 20+ times and have never been cut once. I love that they offer Venmo as a payment option. The only reason this isn't five stars is because it gets unbearably hot inside no matter the season, they definitely love running the heater, and I always leave feeling like I've been at the gym. I've been going here pretty consistently for the past year and they've always been able to get me in immediately and get my nails right. As someone who has issues biting my nails , this has become a ritual for me and it's helped me stop biting my nails. The ladies are always nice, there's an abundance of colors and types of manicures and pedicures to choose from. Plus you get a 5% discount if you use cash which helps! I bite my nails like crazy but every time I go in they are amazing at giving me acrylics or dip that still looks amazing. I usually get my nails from Anne and she is so fast while still giving quality nails!! She also always has an eye for amazing designs. She picked out the color and design of my nails this time and I am obsessed! If you want any nails service go here as all the ladies are very nice and super amazing at their jobs. I needed a quick pedicure for an event in the evening. I walked in and they immediately got me seated with Wendy. I've had experiences with previous mail salons where the tools were not cleaned well which caused issues with my toes but here, their kits are sterilized (with the mechanical indicator on the peel packets showing that they were) as opposed to other nail salons that only pack theirs in sterilization bags but don't sterilze the kits. They add a little bit of extra luxury in your pedicure spa with, not only, heated towels, but also heated lotion packets! So the lotion they use to massage your legs is nice and warm. The nail salons near my neighborhood aren't great, so I decided to try this one--even though it was a bit of a drive--because of the good reviews. My daughter loved her nails, but mine were just okay. About a week later, my gel nails started chipping badly. When I went back, nine out of ten nails needed fixing. I asked about acrylics, but they recommended tip extensions instead, saying they'd be stronger. It was more expensive, but since they gave me a discount for the repair, I agreed. Unfortunately, a week later, the new nails also started chipping. When I came in for the fix, I was assigned to a tech who seemed very inexperienced--she was unorganized, asked a lot of questions, and didn't seem confident. She even misshaped one of my nails, and after my dissatisfaction, without saying anything, she packed up and left. The owner stepped in and finished the job. While she did better, three nails still look uneven. I also noticed I was charged $10 for a French manicure I never received, but I didn't say anything and still left a tip. Overall, between the chipping, the inconsistent shaping, and being charged for a service I didn't get, I don't think I'll be returning. read more

I think I'm being generous with a 2 star rating. I was a walk in and asked if I could get a manicure and I was directed to pick out a polish. The lady then told me to sit in her chair. Very unfriendly, no eye contact, had on a mask under her nose and had a cough. I told her to be very gentle and needed everything new including files. She seemed very annoyed with me. The ladies here are terrific and talented, and I've been going here regularly since July of 2023. I've had dip for several years but after 5 months of getting my dip done here, they started chipping, breaking and the dip would come off very easily. I thought maybe nails just need a break. So I removed the dip myself (that's how weak the dip was). I gave my nails time to grow and get healthy, about two months. Last week I went to get just a gel mani and pedi. They are already lifting from the base and around edges! Conclusion: they use cheap product and charge too much for what you get. I don't even know how I paid $130 for a gel mani pedi. I know if I go in and talk to them they would redo it, again they are very sweet, but it would be same products unfortunately. Time to look for another salon I suppose :( read more

I have been coming here for about six months now and I have to sayI LOVE it!! I did went to this location a couple of years ago when it was under different ownership. My regular nail tech moved back to California and I was never able to find someone there that could do as good of a job so I stopped going. I decided to pop my head in and give them another shot about six months ago and I have to tell you I couldn't be happier with that decision! Ever since Lowry nail spa has been under the leadership of their new owner Cindy, I have been extremely pleased with the quality of work and service! They are always so accommodating. I never have to wait more than five minutes if I walk in without an appointment and they're always able to get me in last minute when I don't plan ahead. This is the perfect spot to get your nails done, grab coffee, and then snag some lunch for the perfect day plans! They have a ton of chairs and employees and on a Friday afternoon while every other place I normally frequent was booked they had room for my bf and i to get pedicures. So we popped in and they were efficient - it only took about 30 mins and they have a HUGE selection of color choices from OPI and Anthony Vince. Some of these Anthony Vince colors were incredible, very on trend with the current velvet nails trend! The place was clean, they have a beautiful hand washing station, and it was very sanitary! My only concern would be their reusing of the foot scrub tool, but I would simply just have them skip that step if you're concerned. Overall the total for two pedicures with polish came to about $90 which is pretty standard for denver! read more

Great selection of services and colors Great results You will wait awhile with an appointment or as a walk in so be ready for that Check your itemized receipt, they may be charging you more than the service you selected. I caught it today and it's the first time that I checked my itemized receipt, it's possible they've been overcharging. I brought it up and they wrote me a gift card for the difference. I don't like that way of doing business and I did mention that it is not acceptable to do that. It has taken me years to find a great nail salon so I will continue to come even still. So I went to go get my nails done less than a week ago and they looked great. My nails looked so natural and I liked the design. One of my nails ended up breaking about 3 days after I got them done so I ended up going back to see if they could redo it. It ended up being very rushed and the nail looked so bad it caused me to cry. It looks nothing like any of the nails did before and the lady who was doing my nails did not know how to use the airbursh so it looked nothing like how my nails looked before. She also spent no time trying to shape the nail and it is very chunky and does not look natural at all. I loved my nails before but I'm disappointed and upset with how the nails look now compared to before as well as the quality of the nail and the atmosphere at the nail salon. Do not recommend. Just moved from Texas, first salon i'm testing out. Shop is cute, good first impression. Kind staff. Came for a pedicure. Haven't had anything done to my toes personally or professionally in months. They were pretty long. Nail tech cut my nails SO SHORT. I was very upset (silently) especially because I have a huge event next week. Red flag- never asked me how short or what shape I wanted. I timed the massage I was paying for- which was supposed to be 7min. She only did 4.5minutes. Mind you, it's mid day on a Monday with at least 6 nail techs sitting on their phones waiting for work. So i'm not sure why she was so rushed. Just bad customer commitment. Then she goes to pain my nails and every single nail has a different shape. I had to ask her to fix them; then she started speaking a different language loudly to her coworkers. Lord only knows. I just found this service disrespectful and a very poor job.
