I had been waiting for a chance to try this nail salon because it was close to home with great reviews. The salon staff is super pleasant and the salon is very clean and well cared for. Large selection of OPI polishes along with other brands. They do not do French dipping powder. They do dip, but no one does the white dipped tips. I have been doing French dips over my natural Nails for 2 years and typically get 2.5 to 3 weeks between manicures. For me they did dipping powder topped with a French gel manicure. My manicure Started chipping within 48 hours. They said I could come back if there were any problems. But now I am traveling out of the area, so can't take them up on it. Today, the dip started to pull off my nail base. It's thick, and not well ground down to taper towards my cuticle. Might able to get another day or two before it all looks terrible and completely lifts at my cuticle. I had a pedicure, and that was great. Did regular polish on toes and have no issues there. They were gentle with trimming cuticles too. And I liked that they left my toe nails straight accross and gently filed. Angling the corners creates ingrown corners. Great staff, friendly, clean, but unfortunately for me I didn't get a lasting manicure. I should have gone with a solid color dip and skipped trying to get a French look. read more

Came here today for a pedicure with my mother. Our pedicures were 30 minutes long and we waited for our polish to dry for an an hour. Making our total time at this salon 1.5 hours and only .50 of it was relaxing. Make me wonder what they are mixing with their polishes to make them take SO long to dry? They have a no phone call policy (which I understand and appreciate) but I did not see the signs and was calling about a reservation and was quickly yelled at and frantically pointed at the signed. Honestly scared the crap out of me. Now that I've returned home and climbed into my sheets I've realized they did NOT do a very good job with their callus removal or pedicure in general. Where to even start.... This was the worst manicure and pedicure I've ever had in my life!!! ANd I am 30 Years old. I only chose this place because I just moved and this was close by...... maybe if you want just a plain polish you'll be okay - but not even that!!! I came In to get tips on my nails and dip color - with a standard pedicure. FIRST OF ALL the pedicure was horrible. The nail polish was like a thin color and literally my left foot was practically translucent compared to my right and when I asked to add a coat she had the audacity to say she'd charge more.... are you KIDDING ME?! Secondly the charge extra to do the scraper on your dead skin and barely use the pommel stone at all so you will not have smooth feet. They then didn't even add a top coat and I am telling you I was already fuming, trying to keep it cool. The stone for massaging she used was COLD when it's supposed to be warm.... and the nails weren't even and nail polish was not cleaned up and was on my actual skin around my toe nails.... Now for the dip manicure- this lady HAD NEVER Heard of a stiletto nail shape .... literally said "I've e ever seen this before" making an excuse of why it took her 10 adjustments to get this shape right MIND YOU I had a picture to show her exactly what what I wanted and you're telling me you can't even copy an image in front of you?! A stiletto shape is NOT a rare shape so again I was absolutely flabbergasted at this point...... I kept telling her I wanted it shorter and she was even struggling to do that ... such a strange experience... Then she starts the dip and HOLY MOLY she had no idea what she was doing, might have even been her first one time. I booked for dip in advance so you'd think they'd get me someone with experience.... anyway she completely misses a step--- I tell her because I've been doing dip for about 5 years, at multiple different nail salons so I know what I'm talking about... and she barely gets what I'm saying and I try and explain so she half asses the missing step but completely might as well have not done it... Because of missing this step it prevents proper curing and adding strength so the nails were piss poor thin and doesn't even add a top powder layer... She was also Incredibly rude and dismissive and acting like I was the issue.... I literally had my nail break THAT DAY BUT had a flight I had to make that night so essentially I had disgusting nails for my vacation.... I literally cannot put into words how horrible this experience was and I will never go here again. Go ANY WHERE else but here. It is not worth it. I also was charged $110 for this horrible job which is as expensive as a talented nail tech who even can do designs.... I was disgusted.... read more

This my first time at B's and this place is absolutely wonderful!! Everyone here is so sweet and kind and accommodating. I got a nail extension and dip done by Lynn. I was worried about it looking fake because I'd had it done in the past by other salons and it looked really thick so I have been hesitant to have it done again. I'm meeting my boyfriend's family and wanted to look my absolute best so I voiced my concerns and Lynn immediately quelled my fears. She did an amazing job and I am absolutely in love with my nails. The girls (both patrons and Bee's) were gushing over Lynn's lovely work and Vicki gave me an awesome gel pedicure. I left feeling very happy, confident, and refreshed. It was a minimal leg massage and done in 38 minutes. I have been going to M Vince and 5th ave nails, and pay way less for a gel pedicure that lasts over an hour with lots of massage time. I have been to this salon several times, some experiences have been good and some have been not great. But I keep giving them a chance because I want to like the place. After this week however I will never be going back. I went in for a pedicure and it is absolutely awful... The polish is literally all over my skin as you can see. I could have easily done a better job at home. It looks absolutely horrible. When I go for a pedicure it is really a treat for myself and I expect a quality service for what I am paying for, but that did not happen here this week. It was $39 for this pedicure and it looks awful! There are much better salons in Denver, where you can get better quality work for a cheaper price. I don't normally get passionate over Nail Salons but maybe it's because I just haven't found the right one - Now I have! I was looking for a Nail Salon in the Cherry Creek neighborhood and came across this gem not to far away. As I walked in I was greeted warmly by Wendy (the owner I think). In a quick moment we were on first name basis, and I was offered water or green tea, "Green Tea please" I say. Bulan did my mani and pedi and was conversational when needed, had a sense of humor and was super sweet. She did an excellent job and I would recommend her for anyone coming here. Pedicure was first and has to be the BEST pedicure I've ever had in my life. Tenderly my toes were worked over with the appropriate tools, cuticles trimmed and nails shaped. On to the bottom of my feet, they use a version of one of those pool "noodles", a smaller version for you to rest your leg on so neither you or the person attending to your feet has to hold your leg up, after all this is a relaxing experience. She scrubbed softly and firmly exfoliating my feet and softening my feet. Apricot scrub used on my legs smelled heavenly and worked wonders. The leg massage was one I wish I had everyday. Next, oiled up feet and legs and a hot stone massage follows, oh so hot and utterly magnificent. All this was exceptional and my toes are equally beautiful in bright red polish! Manicure is next and I shuffle over to the manicure station. Special attention to my cuticles and the shaping of my nails to my desired square shape and matching my length on both hands. The hand and arm massage was heavenly, makes you immediately relax. I decided on french, so $5 up-charge which is typical at any salon and my nails are certainly gorgeous now. If you think it's over it's not, once under the nail dryer you get a shoulder and neck massage just in case you're not relaxed enough and by this time you are completely and utterly silly puddy in their hands. *If this doesn't cement a five star review for B Nails Salon, I knicked one of my newly manicured fingers that evening and I showed up Monday evening (two days after initial manicure) and asked if they could fix the nail for me. Without hesitation I was remembered by name and assisted with a perfect repair of my one finger to create a matching ten. Prices are more that normal, $37 for a pedicure, completely worth every penny. I'd be more than happy paying this fee for this quality pedicure. Manicures are on point with other salons in the area. This feels more like a spa then a nail salon. Great people, excellent service, finished product that is perfection and lasts, and heavenly experience overall. read more

The sugar foot scrub, hot stone massage, and hot towel service were nice touches. Both hand and foot massages were wonderfully relaxing. Nail color application was precise. Cuticle trimming was gently done, which I really appreciated since I've been cut one too many times (at other salons). No problems there. Easily a 4 star experience. My problem is with the pricing. $70 for a shellac manicure and regular pedicure. $70! $84 with tip (I'm a standard 20% tipper when services are good). I can't get used to these Colorado prices. The pedicure did include callous remover at no additional charge. This helped minimally though; my feet still feel rough and not silky smooth like after treatments I've received in California. Must be the dry Colorado climate? I don't know. I continue to feel ripped off by Colorado nail salons. I don't get it. Why so spendy? I've paid $20 less at places back home. Nice places. Clean places. So I continue to be puzzled by the pricing here in Denver. Maybe it's because people here don't know any better so they just cough up these rediculously high prices. But I know better. A very nice nail place! What a first class operation! First, the manager Wendy is incredibly service-oriented and helpful. She helped me set up my first appointment and when I showed up, greeted me warmly and led me to "The Wall of Colors", and got me a cup of hot tea. My technicians have almost always been so sweet, plus my gel manis always last so long! They are painstaking with my toes and nails, even applying color on the tips. I love AMY and SIMONE! (But watch out for DEBBIE- she gets huffy. When she is huffy she will viciously file your nails to the point of discomfort, and manhandle your hands, and guess what, her manis do not last). The salon is kept pristine, clean clean clean! Beautifully decorated with attention to every detail. The pedicure massage chairs are new, modern and working! She definitely took her time and even asked me if I wanted a third coat for my shellac gel manicure. My pedicure seemed average but for some reason my toes and feet looked better than ever before or any previous pedicure. They only have OPI or higher end nail polish too. They definitely use good products. Appointments are definitely recommended and I can see why because they definitely take their time. Even gave me a small back massage after my pedicure. This is the best nail salon I have found in the Denver metro area since I moved here almost three years ago. I have one other that I like close to home but I actually like B's better. This place is close to work and easy to get to on 4th and Corona. When I walked in I was greeted by name with friendly staff. Clearly they knew who I was because I made an appointment but I thought it was nice they remembered my name without looking at the appt book. Next I noticed the decor. This place is clean and modern. They don't have cheesy Asian decor like Hello Kitty's around. They also don't post the prices on the walls which I think makes a place look kind of tacky. The polish is in one spot and strategically placed on wall shelves on the left side of the entrance. I had a french manicure which only cost me $20 and she did an amazing job. She didn't hurry on my nails and took her time getting them perfect. Your nail tech will give you a massage while sitting under the nail dryer which I thought was a nice touch. read more

I originally wrote a wonderful review of this business, but since have had less than positive experiences. First, I got stuck on I-25 one night in traffic. I called as I was exiting Colorado Boulevard to let them know that I was running late for my appointment. They asked how late and I said that i wasn't sure, but I was guessing about 5-10 minutes. It took a little closer to 15 minutes to arrive (ah, the joy of Colorado Blvd). When I got there they told me that it was too late to do my service. I was SUPER frustrated by this as I could have gone to another nail place elsewhere. Plus, they had my number in the book. They couldn't call me and let me know? The time before this I had called on Wednesday to make a 10 a.m. appointment for Friday. I was told the time was booked, so I instead booked for Thursday afternoon. While I'm getting my nails done, I hear the receptionist offer an appointment of 10 am on Friday to a customer for the same service I had originally requested. Yes, maybe someone had cancelled, but it was still frustrating. Lastly, I have called no less than 6 different times trying to schedule appointments either day of, next day or 2 days out and they can never fit me in. I've finally given up and started my search for another business. So frustrating as they really do great work. read more

As I was wrapping Brent's birthday gift last Friday, I realized I could really use a mani before our evening out. I called B Nails and they were able to squeeze me in. I was really impressed with this salon. It wasn't just clean, it was sanitary. Very much so. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to engage in small talk and call my by my first name. The manicure was $15, however it was one of the best manicures I've received in Denver and the shoulder massage at the end was a nice touch. Sometimes you just need to sit and have someone attend to needs you didn't even realize you had. I'd pulled my Achilles on Tuesday, then spent all week hobbling around . . . throwing most of the rest of my body out of whack. I didn't say a word about these aches due to different distractions from the day, yet the ladies at B Nails effectively worked out my body's kinks and my mind's frustrations -- and all I was expecting was a basic pedicure! If you wish your pedi involved a multi-step massage, get your soon-to-be sweet tootsies over to B. Nails. Before polish, here's every step of the massage : sugar rub! Cooling lotion! Oil + hot rocks! Hot Towel! And as if that wasn't enough, after executing a perfect polish, Trem rubbed down my neck, shoulders, and upper arms while my polish dried. B Nails, I'm now a little in love with you. Environment: I was impressed with everything about their calming, minimal (but not too) environment : color scheme, choice of finishes, lighting, orderly tech stations, choice of music, placement and line-up of polishes, and even how/where the magazines are kept. Such a nice change from other so many other salons! I didn't get a chance to check out the wax room, but even the bathroom was well-appointed. Service: WOW is all I can say, given the leg massage described above. Ladies (and the occasional gent), this was 100x better than your basic pedicure. Instead of keeping me waiting at the front, they seated me immediately. Each tech was working with a customer, so the Owner herself (I don't know if it was Debbie or Wendy; I'm the jerk that didn't ask) brought me a magazine and green tea, then removed my old polish. Trem then took over and handily worked over all the basics (trimming, shaping, cleaning, callouses), before wow-ing me with the multi-step leg massage. She was so good, I didn't even think about my ticklish feet. Then, the final step of their extensive service : the back massage at the drying station. Mmmm... Price: $37 is a bit steep, but given all the steps you're hearing ZERO complaints from me. I may opt for a quickie pedi elsewhere occasionally, but given the way my legs and toes feel after visiting B Nails . . . I'll be back! Truly grateful : all I could feel after being so pleasantly surprised by the ladies and service at B Nails. (Full disclosure : this was my first visit. If I don't come back to push up to the 5th star after they've delighted me more than once -- and I'm sure they will -- it is only due to my own forgetfulness.) read more
