Kim did a wonderful job on my gel manicure! She and her husband care about the health of your nails as well and take time to do it the right way. These nails lasted a full 3 weeks before any hint of chipping. They use high quality products as well. The finished product was sooo cute and I got a lot of compliments! Don't think I'll go anywhere else now! read more

I went for a Gent's pedicure and was not disappointed! The tech was kind and turned this guy's hooves into glass slippers. Will definitely go back. read more

This was one of the worst nail salon experiences. They are ridiculously overpriced. This is not even a nice nail salon and a regular manicure/pedicure was $70! I almost died! $70! They did a terrible job on my nails. They did not even cut my cuticles! She spent almost an hour giving me a manicure and she only was able to push my cuticles down and barely cut them at the bottom. I asked multiple times for her to cut the side cuticles and hang nails. This is more than price gauging. Paying $30 for a regular manicure is borderline criminal. I normally don't even pay that much for an acrylic fill in! The pedicure was $40 and I barely even got a massage. I will absolutely never step foot inside this nail salon ever again and you should keep searching for a new nail salon. read more

This was one of the best manicures I have ever received. Phung did an amazing job and was super friendly. She spent quality time making sure they looked perfect and didn't rush like most salons do. I highly recommend! read more

I've been getting my nails done for well over 10 years and this is by far the worst place I've been to. Super slow and seems ver very inexperienced. read more

I don't get pedicures often, so when I do I appreciate a thorough job. Kim was meticulous in her work and I never felt rushed. I run a lot, and it shows on my feet. Knowing that was important to me, Kim spent a lot of time removing callouses. The massage was great too.  This is a no-frills shop, but they do a great job. $40 was well worth the attention to detail!  They also have a great selection of CND shellac and vinylux polishes. I will be back. read more

Had a fantastic experience here! My manicurist was very detail-oriented, did a fabulous job cleaning up my nails and cuticles and was very informative in helping me understand how shellac polish differs from gel. Got a wonderful shellac manicure. read more

Very sad and disappointed. I did not want to go down this route but I think it is necessary to do this after sleeping on this. As I am heading out for my trip and I wanted to get my nails done. (I don't get my nails done often so it was a huge splurge for me) Seeing photos and majority of great reviews so I have determined to go. I got pedicure and acrylic nails done. Pedicure was okay. 5 minutes total of massage. Although they did give great attention on heels and cuticles. Although the acrylic set I have received is just horrible! Looks like 15 years old learning how to do the set. I believe the owner did my nails unfortunately. I will post the inspiration pic and some nails are longer than others. Some has semi coffin shape. They are not smoothed over you can see some bumps/creases. Not smooth around my cuticles. Most definitely not happy. Stressing out trying to find another place to fix this error. A mistake going here. Here is my response to owners message. Kimberly. This was photos taken the next day! Not a week old! I have time stamp of my transaction and the pictures. Don't lie about that. I went to other place and they were able to fix and it was beautifully done! Although that is more money out of my pocket. Don't use my deafness as a excuse. I've had pointed out some and you said it's ok looks great and doesn't fix it. Again I repeat those pictures ARE not a week old. You can see my post the next day from when I got the nails done. They're picture from the next day not a week later. I can imagine it is embarrassing to see those nails looking terrible the next day and trying to use a week later excuse when that is invalid. I tried to call the number. No answer. No call back. And you respond to this than my call/message. I just called again. No answer. Left a message. So here you go with my response read more

Had a wonderful experience at Hollywood Nails on Colfax. I'm visiting from Portland and wanted to redo my shellac. Hollywood Nails was walking distance from my friend's apartment and they were able to take me in the same day. They were pretty booked otherwise, so I'd call first. The owner/manager runs it with their spouse, both of whom were working. They took their time removing my previous shellac and did a killer job with my new shellac. Super kind, personable, and stellar work! read more

Hollywood Nails - 2 days post shellac, getting lots of compliments! - Nail Salons Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Hollywood Nails always does an amazing job, and they have been my go-to nail salon for over a year now; however, I called to schedule a time to have my dip taken off, and I was not so kindly told they were fully booked. A friend called right after to get an appointment for a manicure, and they suddenly had a few openings. If a customer gets their nails done at this salon, I think it's unprofessional and poor customer service to deny them the service of having it removed solely because they're making less money. They have lost a customer. read more

I came to Hollywood nails last week with a friend to get a basic mani/pedi. It was a bit on the pricey side, but now I understand why! The service was great and both my mani & pedi are still in perfect condition. I have been traveling/socializing/working like crazy over the last week and not a single chip. Most of the time when I get just a regular polish mani it chips within a matter of days because of how much I use my hands but this one has held up. Very impressed! read more

I absolutely love Hollywood Nails! The attention to detail, cleanliness, and wonderful products in store what more can you ask for! This is the best my nails have ever looked in a while, trust me I've searched high and low to find a great spot in Denver! It is worth your time and money to check Kim & Tony out. You will NOT regret it! read more

Hollywood Nails - Kim & Tony are the best! I'm so grateful to get my nails done at such a clean, beautiful and friendly salon! - Nail Salons Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Kim has been making my nails beautiful for 6 years now, and I won't let anyone else at any other place touch my fingers or toes. I feel like family wth Kim and Tony, and am very blessed to have found them. Kim's attention to detail and artistry really shows. I have been getting CND Shellac on my hands/feet since I first found Hollywood Nails. A year ago, I started to get a thin layer of acrylic under my shellac, and haven't looked back. It lasts me for 3 weeks, and my job is really hard on my hands, wearing gloves all day. The location is great too. Coffee next door, and yoga across the street, in case there is a wait. Kim is well worth the wait if you want the prettiest nails possible. I highly recommend you treat yourself to a shellac mani/pedi here! The massage chairs are also very relaxing. read more

I'm visiting Denver and stumbled in (after looking on Yelp) for a basic manicure. I loved the result! They are very friendly, professional and clearly take pride in their work. One thing I *really* liked was how she soaked my nails and used a professional cuticle remover a few times instead of chopping them up too much. She got them super cleaned up and without any abrasion. And the polish job was perfect. Good conversation too! Highly recommended Hollywood Nails if you're in the Denver area. read more

I found Hollywood Nails when I was looking for a new salon to repair some damage that had been done to my nails at a different salon. One manicure with Kim and I'm hooked! I had such a great experience here today. I popped in after my good friend recommended Hollywood Nails and I was not disappointed. I've been a client here for the past 3 years. I've never been disappointed with the quality of their nail services. They take their time, I've never felt rushed. Massage is excellent! Manicure/Pedicure last a long time. Outside looks deceiving but it's been beautifully remodeled inside. I've tried places in Cherry Creek, hands down my favorite salon. Recently went, they have plexiglass dividers, l take your temperature and keep it sanitized. read more

I love Hollywood Nails! This is the only place I will go to get my nails done in Denver now. Kim & Tony are so sweet & welcoming. Kim always does such a wonderful job (I get shellac mani/pedi). She is incredibly meticulous and no cuticle gets left behind. On top of her precision, she has taught me a lot about how to take care of my nails and strengthen them. Other nail salons didn't care about that and weakened my nails. She's told me all about the history of shellac/gel nails, how to do them properly and remove them properly. Typically when I get them done they stay on my fingers for 2 weeks and feet for at least a month. Their prices are reasonable and comparable to other nail salons, and she somehow always seems to fit me into her busy schedule super last minute. Thanks guys & see you next time! read more

My manicure was SO expensive ($50!) and below par. The lady who did my nails was new and I could tell she was really trying but it just didn't come out right. The paint was blotchy and messy.. I'm homes surprised I left with my nails looking like that. I must have been feeling generous that day... Maybe if one of the owners had done my nails I'd have a different opinion. read more

I have been getting my nails done for 35 years on and off and I can honestly say Kim's talent far surpasses anyone one else I have encountered. She is obviously a perfectionist and honors her craft with abilities. A true artist. The care and attention to detail she has is amazing to watch. She uses techniques I have never seen anyone else use. This comes from years of experience and pride in her product. My nails are beautiful, natural length, natural shape and very cool chrome finish, which by the way is hard to do. In the past with chrome I have had many bumps, with Kim, she takes the time to remove any debris, to ensure a smooth finish. Her words not mine. I didn't have to direct anything, she is brilliant and honest. Previously there were gaps on the sides or by the cuticle where polish wasn't applied but Kim makes sure to cover the entire nail. Tony removed my old shellac with the utmost care, the most gentle removal to date. They actually care about the condition of your nails and take care and use additional conditioners to help build up strength. They are amazing at their profession and some of the nicest people I have met at a business. They are warm and inviting and have set high standards for themselves. From a forever new client, Tracy read more

My first time here for a pedicure, and I will definitely be back! Kim did an amazing job. It was quick (which is great) , but also thorough! I left with the smoothest feet, and a pretty new polish. They book up quick, I'd recommend to call ahead vs trying to walk in. read more

I live in the neighborhood and this was my first visit to Hollywood nails. I am very satisfied with my experience. My nails look perfect, and Kim takes the time and care to make everything look great. She has obviously been doing this a long time. In response to the person that said the place looks disorganized, it's true, though it is because they are in process of expanding/remodeling. Honestly I can't remember the last time I went to a nail salon where I was impressed by the surroundings. All that matters is the quality of the experience. Make sure you make an appointment because they have limited capacity. Overall I would recommend, and I will be going back! read more

OMG their prices! $33 for a basic pedicure - no air conditioning, door wide open, noisy, no music or ambiance, and they were under major construction and basically did not have floors. Go down the street to Salon Joa for this same price + get greta ambiance and champagne, wine or beer with a pedi. This one was rushed and basically had no massage. So disappointing. Look elsewhere. read more

I came for a pedicure and received quick and good service however when getting the dead skin off my heal and ankle it hurt a little. I was also surprised with the price for a regular pedicure as $41 seemed High. Unfortunately yesterday only a few days after my pedicure I have a crack in my heel that is extremely painful and must come from a bit too much shaving of the heel. Again very nice customer service but the actual pedicure I'm unsure. read more

Hands down the best nail salon I've ever been to. I just am a simple girl, who just wants white tip acrylics. Nothing fancy No Frills. I walked in without an appointment and immediately got seated. The two people working were both incredibly nice and welcoming. They did really good work in a very time efficient manner. My nails were pretty jacked up, but they got them fixed and looking great in 30 minutes. Even though it's 40 minutes from my house, I wouldn't hesitate to make the drive any time I need service. The place is tiny, but very clean and well-kept. I could tell by the amount of calls they were receiving, that they have a large clientele read more

The whole area was just really disgusting and unorganized chaos. We got two pedicures, and they were sub-par. Polish was left on my skin and missing near the border of my nails, and just not much attention to detail. They were kind, but for the same price you should choose a cleaner and more talented salon. read more

So this is totally a "don't judge a book" kind of place. And if you can do that then you will find you've spent your time and money wisely. Kim and her husband have held down this space for 26 years. I cannot even fathom what it meant to do nails on Colfax almost 30 years ago. But her quiet tenacity and commitment to excellence is evident. I even learned several things about nail care and left with a small bottle of oil that smells like cotton candy and is sure to help my brittle nails heal (all for the totally reasonable price of $4). This nail salon is like finding your favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurant: an amazing secret you aren't quite sure you want to share but is too good not to. read more

This place is more than meets the eye. Upon first glance I probably wouldn't have stayed but I'm so glad that I did. The owners are very nice and knowledgeable. The woman who did my nails actually took her time with me rather than rushing me in and out. The quality and craftsmanship of her work is unrivaled. I have long natural nails so it's hard to find people who can handle them delicately, but she did a brilliant job. This woman knows her stuff! I wish I lived here so I could make this my go-to nail salon. I highly recommend this place. read more

The couple that owns the shop are extremely kind and personable. I learned how long they have been in the neighborhood, which is always a pleasant feature in our everchanging city! Kim does an amazing job, takes her time, and offers suggestions. Would definitely recommend. (Bonus: Hooked on Colfax is right next door so you can help yourself to some yummy coffee before or after). The only downfall would be the lack of ventilation. There was a strong smell of chemicals which mostly just makes me worried for the owner's health and the mass amount of time they spend there. read more
