The leg massage during my pedi was OUTSTANDING!!!!! My only disappointment was that I had some calluses on my feet (Thanks to being pregger and not having time since baby was born for a pedi) and I wish they would have focused on them more, as I still had some when I left. Also, its one of the pricier mani/pedis, but again I think the quality is worth it. Finally parking is annoying in this part of town especially for a larger SUV. read more

Another pedicure that I have to go home and finish the job myself. They didn't scrub my feet well despite me asking several times. They also did not trim the area around the nails well. The gel pedicure polish is now chipping off a week later. The massage wasn't great - it was rushed and standardized. The chairs were sort of comfortable but I hate traditional pedicure chairs. Two stars because the place was very clean and it didn't smell offensively of acetone and other nonpolar, hazardous chemicals. Super expensive for the quality of work as well as the quality of polish. A $60 job that required me to do the majority of work myself. Very disappointed. Won't be back and wouldn't recommend. Apparently my pedicure standards are a little too high for cherry creek. I will have to keep searching for my go to place that does a good job and is also comfortable and relaxing, and uses high quality products. Surprising how hard that is to find here! read more

The place is cozy and we felt like we were away from the business of life--which is exactly what a salon should feel like. YES YES YES TO EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE. Before I start rambling, I'm going to just list some bullet point highlights: * REALLY well-priced for the service you get * the place is clean, tidy, and nicely lit * they are SUPER meticulous with your nails This was my first time going to a nail salon since moving to Denver. I'm sure all of the nail technicians are amazing but this review is for Egi in particular and the manicure I had with her. She took such good care of my nails. I care about the cuticle treatment more than the actual polish because I like leaving feeling like I have a new set of hands. A lot of places breeze through this part and I always leave feeling disappointed. Egi however went through my cuticles with the greatest care. Also when she was filing my nails, she made sure it was exactly how I wanted before proceeding with the rest. I paid for a basic manicure ($20) but think I got way more than I paid for. They included a hot stone massage, a hand massage, and a hot towel wrap. I have never received a hot stone massage for a basic manicure so I was so pleasantly surprised! On top of the meticulous care with which Egi did my nails, I would've happily paid 35$ for the manicure. I HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone. This was the absolute worst pedicure I've ever received. The cutting left my toenails with hangnails within days because they weren't cut evenly or straight across. Some nails were cut at an angle. One of the best mani/pedis I've ever had. The staff was so friendly and the price was reasonable (55 for both). The classic included a hot stone massage, a massage with lotion, and this minty exfoliating scrub. At the end they also gave us a small back massage while we let our nails dry. First off, this is the first review I have ever written giving a place less than four stars. I strive to be pretty positive and like give businesses and their employees the benefit of the doubt. That being said, I had an awful experience here. As a gelish/shellac manicure addict, I ended up at R Luxury Nails after hearing about their $24 shellac manicure - what a steal! I suppose somethings really are too good to be true. To begin, I was charged for removing my previous gelish manicure (something every other nail salon has never done to me before when I am getting a comparable manicure put on). After removing my previous polish, SOME of my nails were filed, but not all to a similar shape. Please note, I say some of my nails were filed as the woman actually skipped some of my fingers... As a nail technician, I would think one would be able to make sure all of the nails actually get filed. I paid for the manicure before the shellac was put on (interesting...) and then had the UV dryer placed right in front of me, meaning my arms were extended over the top of the UV dryer as my nails were painted. I have long arms, so it wasn't super uncomfortable, but I could imagine someone who was shorter finding this really unpleasant. The nail technician only did two coats of my favorite white polish, leaving my nails looking incredibly "uneven and poorly painted" as a fellow reviewer pointed out - they would have looked better if I did them at home with my trusty MAC white nail polish. I washed my hands after the experience and went and sat back down for hand lotion and massage (one of the best parts of a manicure, let's be real) and the woman looked at me like I was completely ridiculous - I guess that meant my manicure was over? She thanked me several times and I got the hint that the services were over. I left with dry-feeling hands. The the most frustrating part of the entire experience is this: TWO DAYS after the manicure, the polish started CHIPPING. I strive to make my manicures last as long as possible, and my gelish or shellac manicures normally last up to THREE WEEKS. I apologize for my use of the caps lock, but this is incredibly ridiculous to me. I can make a regular polish manicure last longer than two days. I pay the extra money for gel because I love not having the hassle of redoing my nails all the time. Now I have a chipping gel manicure that I have to struggle to remove myself or go pay to have removed. I should have never swayed from my trusty and fabulous CoCo Nails. read more

I am extremely disappointed with their pricing, as there is a sign advertising a pedicure for $35 and shellac for $30 (see attachsd). I was definitely not expecting to pay $55 for a shellac pedicure!! I understand $10 for old shellac removal, but their advertising should be less misleading if they plan to charge you that much. This place first caught my eye while I was running an errand at FedEx, their upstairs neighbor. They had a price board propped up outside, listing shellac manicures for $30. I am always on the hunt for a place that does cheap shellac manis, and $30 is about $5 less than I usually pay, so I figured it was worth a shot. At the time, the manicure was great. The tech I had was attentive and seemed to be doing a good job, they have a decent variety of colors, and they even give you a quick hot stone massage at the end. When I went to pay, they informed me that there was an additional $5 charge for having my old shellac polish removed. Seriously? I've never been to a salon that does that before. Needless to say, they don't advertise that aspect of their "$30" manis. My old polish was 3 weeks old and halfway off- had I known, I would've finished removing the polish myself and saved $5. Anyway, I was kind of irritated by that, but not enough that it would prevent me from coming back.... Until.... fast forward SIX DAYS and my polish had already chipped. Again, this was shellac. If it were regular polish, fine. But even the more subpar shellac manicures I've had will usually look decent for about 10 days. Even on the nails where it hasn't chipped, the polish looks dull and scuffed, again, more so than I would typically expect. I suppose I could go in and ask them to fix it, but frankly, there's no point when the rest of my nails already look so bad. Pass. Ps. If you're looking for a good, relatively inexpensive nail salon in the area, 5280 Nails (Colorado Blvd & Alameda) has this place way beat. read more

Came here with a friend after seeing their photos on Yelp. We called ahead for two pedicures & they said they would be ready for us in fifteen minutes. Very clean inside & staff is accommodating. Great selection of OPI & Gelish colors. One lady started our pedis, the massage was great & she used a hot stone at the end. A younger girl came to paint our nails & walked us to the drying chairs afterward. She gave us a quick neck & back massage. Very nice surprise! Overall this place has a more professional ambiance than most nail salons. Their prices are higher than some but worth it. Great experience! I came here over the weekend because the place I usually go was full, and I may be converted! The nail techs, a married couple, were SUPER kind and great at what they do. I got a regular mani pedi, and what made the services extra special were the device used to smooth the dry skin on my feet (in addition to the buffer used at most nail salons) and their unprompted offer to let me see how a few different polish colors would look on my nails when I couldn't decide. It was a quiet, clean environment where I was able to relax and enjoy myself, and my nails look great and don't seem like they'll chip any time soon. Highly recommend! read more

This salon came highly recommended from a friend. Apparently Ogie (sp?) was her favorite manicurist at another salon, but he left. Six months later, unsatisfied with all the different places she had tried, she stumbles upon R Luxury Nails, only to find that Ogie is now the owner of this place! I had a wonderful experience here, and can only assume that any negative comments came from a time when it was under the previous management. I found a metered parking spot right across from their salon (look for the FedEx sign for those who have had trouble finding it). Egi (Ogie's wife, I believe) took care of me for my mani/pedi. Better than average massage chairs, a nice hot stone massage, and a very good pedicure (toenails still look perfect 3 weeks out!). I have had fancy hotel spa pedicures that cost twice a much that weren't as nice as this one. I threw on a cheap $15 regular manicure, because my nails are very short and in bad condition right now. It wasn't as impressive as the pedi, but was certainly satisfactory as far as standard manicures go. She even massaged my should as as my nails were drying! My only slight complaint was that I didn't like their drying light, and think fans work better. I sat there for a good 20 minutes doing nothing, and even had a quick drying topcoat put on by Egi, and I still got some indentations on my not-completely-dry nails. I've been getting gel polish for so long, maybe I've just forgotten how long the regular stuff takes. I'll definitely be back for another pedi, and will try their gel manicure. read more

A real gem in Cherry Creek. Egi and Ogi are two of the nicest, most professional people you will meet. The pedicure is so relaxing. Both of them have a knack for awesome massage and gentle care. The prices are lower than many of the other places I have been to, and the value is so much better! I would recommend making an appointment.
