Enjoyable experience. I was visiting the area and took a leap of faith to get my nails done while here. I got dip with tip in an almond shape and a small heart on one nail. The nail tech (Thuy) who did my nails was so sweet and kind the whole time. She was detail oriented and took her time with my nails. There were also soo many dip colors to choose from. I made an appointment the day before going in and they were accomodating when I called day of to push it back a bit. This is the closest nail shop to my apartment. I have come here to get my nails done. The first time I came the woman named Ivy did my nails great. The second time was pretty good. Every single time after that there has been something wrong with my nails. This time being the worst. I specifically asked for a black and silver leopard print with the reverse silver and black on the rest of my nails. She rushed through the manicure and broke my natural ring finger nail that I have been growing for 8 months. Glued it back together and just says sorry. She proceeds to want to charge me for designs for each nail. The nail tech decided to freestyle the rest of my nails after explicitly telling her how I want my nails done! Now my nails don't match at all with my birthday a week away. I spent over $100. If you come to this nail shop don't get any designs because they either can't do them or will mess them up. Yesterday was the 4th time I've patronized this business. I sure hope they read this because there is little confirmation that my requests are understood, and certainly not provided. I had my 4th dip manicure. These are the first time I've tried dip, and i have found that it really helps me with my lifelong nail biting and cuticle picking. That said, I asked how long the manicure would last, and told about 3 weeks. Ok, not terrible, but I found that even I could keep shellac on for 4 weeks, and it still looked ok. All 3 previous times, the shine wore off within 1 week so I had very dull nails for 2 weeks. I explained that I wanted to ensure the shine lasted longer, and at first it was suggested by the manager that I get gel (shellac), and since I also was getting a gel pedicure in preparation for a Mexican vacation. I was immediately ushered to a manicure station for dripping wet foil filled with soaked acetone, and then ushered to my pedicure chair. SO, that took away all of the joy and relaxation of a pedicure because my fingers were useless, and dripping acetone all over, so I couldn't manage the massage buttons well, surf on my phone, or just relax at all. While getting the pedicure, the manager came back and said I should get the dip, and he'll do a double clear coat to make sure the sheen remained (My paraphrase of his suggestion). Then he brings over the basket of boards with fake nails polished with dip color samples. Have you ever tried to manage these with dripping foiled fingers? I mean....I was aggravated at this point. So a woman did my pedicure, and then she brought me to a chair, peeled the foil off and took most of the previous dip material off my nails. Then she brought the basket over, and i ended up choosing a color without the foil. The manager then comes over and starts working on my nails. Now, I am not happy, because he is not as good as other technicians there, and he is preoccupied with watching what is gong on, answering the phone, looking at the calendar. I mean, while he was filing my nails, he didn't even look at what he was doing. Just filing away. I am not super happy with the quality of work he does. There are bumps in the dip, and he also doesn't use the dremel to to file them into a more natural look. The other two technicians that provided same service did a much better job. So...I hope that the manager reads this review, and takes some key points to heart: Customers don't go with the expectation of a production line. This is a SERVICE that should be enjoyable, not rushed. Whether or not a technician is good, depends on his/her ability to communicate. English is important. Managers should not provide services if they cannot give 100% of their attention to their client. read more

Skip this place. Came as a walk in. Service was friendly but the nail tech who did my dip powder lacked tidiness and attention to detail. Lacked an eye for doing nails. I've got lint fused into my nails and really awful proportions with white tips and nail bed. Was my bad for not paying close attention while it was getting done. My pre-manicure hands actually looked better. There was no cuticle trimming or lotion used. Did the tropical pedicure. It was relaxing. But something is weird about the polish. It's still tacky over and hour and a half later. Was OPI product, which is usually good. Had gel on my toes prior and it was extra to get that removed. I paid $120 for a dip powder mani (with dip removal) and pedi plus tip. So no bargain. I won't be back. I have used Paris Nails on Colorado BLVd and was pleased. When I walked in at 4:30 the place was filled with people by I was seated promptly and well taken care of. The guy who did my nails did not speak much english, but thats okay. I usually wear makeup to work. As a result, I use a Clarisonic brush to thoroughly remove the product daily. However, notice how my nails aren't discolored. Awesome awesome salon experience! I dropped by here on a Friday afternoon, because it's the best rated salon near my house (N Cap Hill). It deserves every bit of its high rating. First off, this salon is larger on the inside that it looks from the outside, and it's CLEAN. They have 10 manicure and pedicure stations, organized in a way that doesn't make the space feel crowded even though they were pretty much at capacity the whole time I was there. They offer everyone a bottle of water and asked if I was comfortable/needed anything before we got started. I was taken in immediately (even though i didn't have an appointment). I had my spa pedicure first, which included the usual foot care (scrub, oil/lotion, filing). The "massage" was more of just a light foot/leg rub, but I did notice that this differed by technician. The girl next to me got more of a foot massage than I did, so try to get one of the younger techs! My manicure was next, and just before starting I changed my mind from getting a shellac manicure to the gel dip polish (because another customer convinced me to try it). The staff was super accommodating, and helped me pick the right color/get the right tech for my manicure. And she did an amaaaaazing job - I may never go back to shellac. The shaping was perfect & the color is beautiful. My only criticism of the manicure is that when you get the dip manicure here, they only files/shape your nails and do the polish - there is no oil/lotion/cuticle treatment unless you pay $5 extra. Despite the little things here and there, this may have been the best salon experience I've had. My favorite thing was that it really felt like they took their time with each service, not rushing, even though they were busy! I came back because it's close to my apartment and honestly may have had the worst pedicure of my life here. I had shellac on my toes and the nail tech didn't even try to soak it off, she just ripped and peeled it off WITH CUTICLE CUTTERS! She then proceeded to violently file the skin on my toes and cut the edges off with cuticle cutters ?? The water in the bowl was too cold, the hot stones were too hot, she wiped all the lotion off my legs with a wet towel at the end, tried to do callous removal before my feet were soaked and the massage chair wasn't even relaxing. After all that, my toe nails look good but I was in pain through the whole process. read more

I went for the first time today and loved it! I had a regular pedicure which was $28 and the nail technician did a great job and was very quick. I called ahead for an appointment but they were not busy when I came in (at 2pm). I was done within 30 minutes and the girl did a great massage on my legs and feet. I will definitely be back! The salon was clean and everyone was very friendly. The staff was younger (probably in their twenties) but I didn't feel judged and they were all professional and welcoming. I was injured at this Paris Nails when they failed to monitor the temperature of the water in the pedicure bowl. I was directed to sit at a station where the water was already running. I've been here many times and never had a problem. This time the water was running so I took my shoes and socks off, when I dipped one of my feet into the water I thought was cold, but it was so hot my skin didn't realize it was scalding hot. This not my first rodeo at a nail salon in Denver and elsewhere, so I know what to expect. This place is dirty and the techs are very pushy and not nice. I made an appointment for my friend and me to get mani/pedis. I was waiting for her to arrive but they were pushing me to start. We were here getting her nails done for her wedding, so I wanted to hang with her not speed ahead. They couldn't understand this and were *very* pushy. We finally started. Pedis. Both of our techs hardly spoke to us and only spoke to each other even though we each tried to make conversation. My tech went through the motions but didn't do anything with integrity. She did a horrid job filing my nails and they're all different angles--sorry, but square with rounded edges is super super super easy! I had to ask her to please refile some for shape, but even still, the finished product is abysmal. The angles are all off and the polish itself is not even. I've never had such a poor basic pedi. Then we went to the mani station. Same thing with lack of any conversation, so we just talked amongst ourselves. We each got gel. My friend got a colored French and I got a negative space design. The tech (different lady now) actually did a nice job on my nails, but I cannot get over how rude she was. She also hardly filed my nails, so they're all different lengths. Unbelievable. I've never experienced this where I leave a nail salon with my nails so oddly shaped. I'd never go to Paris again even though it's close and they're quick. SAVE!!! In desperation, 40 minutes before a date ( I was NOT going to celebrate National Margarita Day alone...), I rushed into PARIS NAILS in hopes of getting a **really fast** gel mani. They were able to do it! In 40 minutes, I was buffed, soaked, trimmed and polished in a stylish shade of nude. The technician was efficient and gentle. I walked out with moments to spare with an awesome gel mani just in time to start sipping ritas. Fast forward a few months: I continue to come to Paris nails for my pedicures and Gel Mannies and they have done a lot of work getting the shop up to par, clean and all of the modern polishes together. Meh. they have a basic pedicure ($25), Deluxe($35) and a Super Deluxe ($45). I got the middle pedicure, the Deluxe pedicure. 1) I don't feel as though I received a deluxe pedicure. It comes with a 'longer massage' that also include hot stone. Those stones were on each leg approximately 45 seconds. That's not a massage. 2) the nail tech did a good job at painting my toes, however, you can see where they didn't buff out the nail. So half my nail is smooth, from the last pedicure I got at a different salon and half isn't. 3) I didn't have to wait, which was nice, but they seemed to be in a bit of a hurry, which was bothersome. 4) they hardly scrubbed the bottom of my feet. While I usually enjoy pedicures for the massage and relaxation, I'd been hard on my feet the past month. Overall, do my feet look better? Yes. Do I think I got my money's worth? No. Is the salon good at time management and giving you what you pay for? No. Will I return? Possibly, but have other places I would rather go. They are typically good about accommodating walk-in clients in the afternoon/evenings when I've visited, but I suggest making an appointment if you don't like feeling rushed. Paris Nails is my new go-to place for pedicures. They've got wonderful, comfortable massaging chairs and a sizeable staff. I've never made an appointment, and I've never had to wait to be seen. The staff members are also honest - I dropped my wallet here one night and returned the next morning in hopes that it was still around. It was. They had placed it in a front drawer, and all the cash / cards were still there. Kudos to them, and a big thank you for saving my ass! Their polish selection is huge - everything from black to red to yellow to glitter. Sure, you can bring your own, but I can't imagine you won't find something you like here. My only slight issue is with whatever base coat they use - when polish comes off, it doesn't chip... the entire nail's worth of polish is just gone. I probably won't get another manicure here as that was gone within a couple days... but the pedicures tend to last much, much longer (as in, until the nail grows out unless you're on the beach or something). What to expect? You'll enter, choose your color, and be taken over to one of the chairs were you're provided with a menu that includes your options. You can go for the speedy pedi, which is very basic and lasts about 30 minutes, or select one of the more involved options and enjoy close to an hour or so of relaxation. When I first started getting my nails done here, gel, they lasted almost a month - but lately, the last few times, the manicure only lasts a week or so...not worth it. And my nails are so brittle now. I need to rebuild their strength and then Im going to research other places to see if some are better. A couple of the women who work here are wonderful, TIA specifically, but the younger ones are very childish and almost seem put off by being there...And honestly, are just annoying and kill an otherwise decent vibe. But most importantly, during my last visit, I was VERY turned off when another client who had to wait over 30 minutes past her appt time, apparently some of the employees hadn't shown up for work yet, rec'd no apology from anyone...they did nothing - she was very upset, rightfully so.. THE WORST PEDICURE I HAVE EVER HAD! I am trying new nail places around cap and decided to go here today. When I walked in there was no wait and no one in any of the chairs. I was given menu of different pedicures. You can upgrade your pedicure to include more pampering including scrubs parafin etc. I upgraded to the Florida which includes everything but parafin. I often get Felix pedicures because I like the extra massage time, salt scrub, and them getting the extra dead skin off the bottom of my feet. I usually get parafin but it was too pricey here... Costing 45 dollars for that one. I was sat down in and out in 15 minutes. Being a regular pedicure goer and a cosmetologist I was blown away. She rushed through me so fast. I didn't even get lotion!!!!! On top of that, she stopped in the middle to take a payment from someone leaving... So my pedi wasn't even a full 15 minutes. I will never come back here. read more
