    Uneven nail thickness

I left this appointment with mismatched nail lengths, rushed work on two fingers that needed extensions, and painful micro-cuts around my nail beds despite repeatedly telling them my nails are very sensitive. For the price and the reputation, this was an incomplete and disappointing service. I specifically booked with the owner because she came highly recommended. My appointment was for 9:30, but I waited over 15 minutes past that time before being seated. To her credit, she comped the cost of the nail extensions as an apology for the delay, which I appreciated. At the very start of the session, I clearly explained everything I wanted: a builder gel + gel manicure, extensions on four shorter nails so the length would match, and a specific design. That was the moment she should have told me if there wasn't enough time to complete the service. Instead, she went ahead, then near the end told me I should have called ahead about the extensions -- even though I had explained every detail right at the beginning. It was her responsibility to manage that expectation at the start. Throughout the session, though she was so kind, the owner was multitasking -- helping employees, talking to them, even taking phone calls. I believe this slowed the process down and contributed to her leaving two of my fingers undone until the very end. Both nails needed extensions but were rushed through at the last minute, leaving them shorter than the others. When I pointed this out, I was told to "just model with the left hand that looked good," which is not acceptable when I booked this specifically before a photoshoot where I'm modeling my hands. On top of that, my nails were over-prepped: I was cut on two fingers, and I left with micro-tears around my nail beds that sting whenever I wash my hands. This was despite me telling her multiple times that my nails are extremely sensitive and even asking her to stop cutting when it became too much. Again, she was very kind, and so was her employee who she was speaking to a majority of the appointment. I also understand that as the owner, she has many things to manage, and I respect that. But that does not fix my incomplete nails. Bottom line: While the owner was polite and did try to make up for the wait with a discount, her lack of communication, multitasking, and poor time management left me with unfinished, uneven nails and painful damage. If there isn't time to complete the service as requested, that should be stated up front -- not after the fact.

    Russian manicure by Lola

Salon that offers Russian manicures and pedicures, hard gel extensions, hair services, brows, and more! I've gotten my nails done by Lola twice and she does an amazing job. She's also the owner. Very clean and relaxing environment.

    Facial and Massage 10/10

Aside from nails, they now offer additional array of services that should be added along to any nail appt! The ambiance during the facial and massage was soothing. You won't regret booking either! The massage was 10/10. I left feeling like a brand new person. Anna has great technique, perfect pressure and at the end I felt relief from head to toe. The facial was also a 10/10. Lola is as amazing with facials as she is nails. Her attention to detail on face is on point, attention, overall relaxation achieved, and at end of facial noticeable improvements in skin texture and appearance. And as I tell others, this is hands down a favorite nail salon with talented staff. The process is perfection and nails look great after every appointment. Always look forward to returning for next appointment.

I loved my nail experience here! The environment is absolutely gorgeous and everyone is so sweet. My nails look so beautiful and the biggest thing for me; parking was SOO easy lol.

By far the best manicure I have ever had in my entire life. The women were so kind and helpful! They gave me water and were funny and very welcoming. My nails have literally never looked better. Even if I move out of Colorado, I will fly back here for a manicure. The attention to detail is beyond exceptional. Every little thing was focused on and made to perfection. Even my boyfriend noticed how good they look, which is odd because he never really noticed anything new lmao. 10/10 very clean inside and very cute!

    Japanese manicure
    Kay M.

Went here and got the Japanese mani/pedi. Gave five stars because I had very thick callouses on my feet that were long over due a removal and it took them like 20-30 minutes to remove it and my feet were so smooth. I think it's best to get the Japanese manicure if you want a polish look with no polish. My nails were so gorgeous and neat! The pedicure didn't come with a soak but I think that's fair considering how long it took her to remove my callouses. I will be back to try their spa pedicure too! Also they are VERY clean/sterile!

I definitely would not go back for a "pedicure". I paid $55 basically for a polish change and not a good one. No lotion, no massage, barely any soaking.. and the polish job.. I could have done better myself. Bummed out! I had high hopes for this new salon!

There was no steamer, the mask felt like a simple paper mask, and the rubber gloves made the service feel more medical than relaxing. What disappointed me most was what was missing: no neck or chest massage, no hand or arm massage, and overall very little of the relaxing "spa" experience you usually expect during a facial.  The esthetician herself was kind and professional; please note that she did great. My issue is more with the overall service and value from the spa. But honestly, the experience felt very basic for the cost.

I consider doing memberships and other businesses that were a lower cost point, but I really enjoy the experience at face foundry and I think the cost is worth it. The aesthetician I've worked with the longest is Maddy and she always does an incredible job. I recently had a facial from Ellee as well, and it was great! I enjoyed the variety of services they offer and so far my favorites have been the hydra facial, the clean and natural and the Sculpt. With my membership I get a free add-on every month and I typically go for the enzyme mask which not only feels great but smells like chocolate. One of my favorite things about visiting face foundry is that they always offer a weighted blanket. I love to go at the end of the workday or the end of a long weekend when I'm exhausted and the weighted blanket helps me shake off any stress. So far, I'm very happy I joined this membership and added a little bit of 'treat myself' to every month. looking forward to my facial in September ! (:

Having recently arrived from NYC, I needed to find my go-to spots for all the personal care things…read more(hair dresser who does black hair, beauty supply store, nails, waxing and of course threading). Keep in mind, I'm picky and: 1) I have traversed the city to get to "my person" for these services, 2) I sat on my brow decision for months and 3) even after a direct recommendation from my sister, I didn't pull the trigger until I saw the results of her threading session once this place reopened. Service The technician who worked on my eyebrows was nice, she didn't say much. There was no putting the thread in the mouth as techs usually do in the pre-COVID days at least. My only gripe was her being Speed Racer on my brows. My brows took a shorter time than my wait for the customer before me (who seemed almost done when I came in) so I wasn't in love with having to ask for the extra TLC they usually do at brow places. She didn't go in with a Tweezer but she revisited some spots I asked her to with the thread. Results My brows turned out great! I've gotten several compliments and they have really added to my face. My only issue here was because too much was taken off the tail of one brow and she rounded out the inner corners slightly too much but I've been assured by other people that this is only noticeable to me. The brows are sisters and not cousins after all ;) All in all, I'm coming back but next time, I'll update with before/afters and my tech's name as my sister has received/seen great results with some and bad ones with others. Tips: -Two places came up consistently for threading in my online search between reviews and several "women new to Denver groups" on Facebook. This place (often just referenced as the threading place at Cherry Creek Mall) or one other in Aurora that seems similar to what you might be used to when you think of NYC neighborhood threading spots came up time and again. The others were WAY to rich for my blood for brows. -NYC fam, brow threading costs $12 here relative to the $5-$8 I was used to from crowd favorites in NYC like Unique Threading and Queens Beauty Parlor. However, outside of the Aurora place I mentioned, this place is WELL below the norm of what I'm seeing in Denver.

(Which is about $60 in credits, much better than the $99 retail on the facial, but still, it's quite a bit of $$.) I arrived a little more than 10 minutes early for my appointment, and at first no one greeted me. There was someone doing lashes in the back, but she ignored me as expected. About 10 minutes later, the receptionist came up and greeted me. The esthetician was running behind, I believe she had a lash appointment before me. So she didn't get to me until 10 - 15 minutes after my appointment should have started. The space that they use for facials is in the back room of the house - it smells quite musty and almost litter box-like. It's also right next to where they keep their washing machine and dryer, which was extremely distracting during the facial. She also mentioned that they had just rearranged the room, so she was struggling to find things - and consequentially, she kept bumping into the table with her rolly chair as she searched for items in the room. I was hoping for a relaxing facial, but unfortunately I didn't experience that at Live Love Lash.
