I got a manicure with gel color and had my toe painted with gel no pedicure. I walked out paying $77 then got a charge for $88 on my card. The prices on their website are not correct and they make up prices in their head and charge you what they want. read more

this is a "must" spot for perfect acrylic nails!! I can't recall the name of the woman who did my nails, but she was extremely friendly and nice and very accommodating. She made sure to help me figure out a design that I wanted and explained what I was getting and why I was paying the amount that I was paying which was more than a reasonable amount of $65!! make sure you stop by and check them out. They're amazing and kind people. read more

Classic Mani &Classic Pedi I was given a gift certificate for these services with a $15.00 tip already added on the certificate in plain sight. The young girl who did my mani and pedi asked if I wanted to add a tip and I said no it's already added and she said "I know you want to add more?". I said no and thought to myself you are already getting an 29% tip on these services as their combined total is only $52.00. From then on my experience was one I will never repeat at this Salon as she was not friendly, thinned the polish with remover, and when I asked if this will break down the polish and make it chip sooner, her reply was "No and we don't put that much in, and a regular manicure only lasts 2 days anyway" So disappointed on the service aspect. On a plus side the Salon was clean, comfortable, and they sterilize the tubs, and their implements come out of an autoclave bag sterilized for each guest. read more

My 25 year old daughter introduced me to this nail salon. Her attention to details and an establishment's cleanliness is very important. It's also a big deal for me but she owns a cleaning business so she notices little things I may overlook. We both had the basic pedicure. The seats are comfortable with the massage option which is pretty much standard in nail salons these days. Sparks pedicure chairs are well kept and have been upgraded. The entire place is modern & updated which is another reason we like to go there. We actually drive 18 minutes & 8 miles to go to Sparks even though there are plenty of nail salons within 5 minutes of our house. Okay, so pedicures were great & relaxing. The lady asked if I wanted my nails trimmed or filed - having the option was nice. They have a couple of televisions in the place so you can also splurge on HGTV while you're there. The volume is down on the tvs but you can read the captions. They also had a nice selection of music playing which was well suited for the crowd of mostly ladies between the ages of 30-50. After pedicures we both had our nails done. My daughter opted for shellac and I prefer regular polish. Shellac cures and dries faster than polish. Her nails came out great. Mine did too but with regular polish you get a base clear coat, two coats of color and then a clear coat. I dried my nails under the dryer for about 5-7 minutes while I waited for her nails to be done. Total was $126 and I tipped $25 so our total was $151.00. After we left we went to the mall for a bit and then headed home for the evening. I was going out with friends so I jumped in the shower - this was about 2.5 hours after our nails were done. I got out of the shower and the loofah had destroyed my finger nails. I was pretty bummed because I didn't have time to get them fixed before heading out for the night. So disclaimer: maybe ask to have nails dried slightly in between coats if you have something to do in the next few hours and have chosen regular polish. I don't like shellac because it weakens my nails. The silver lining: I went back to Sparks the next day and explained what happened and they repainted the nails that looked like loofah texture! They did not ask for any type of payment and didn't make a big deal out of it which is the customer service I hope for! I did tip my lady $5.00 because I was pleased with the overall situation. So we'll keep coming back for our relaxing spa day and I'd recommend Sparks for anyone looking to get their nails done. read more

Got a mani pedi here and they were good. It's clean and bright, with lots of chairs. The vibe is okay. The manicurists talked to each other and didn't really engage me or my friend who was with me, which was fine. It was $78 without tip for a gel mani and regular polish pedi and it lasted about 2 weeks, which seems pretty standard. read more

I was visiting from CA, and needed a nail repair. My cousin made a reservation and we went in. I knew I need a new set, but didn't have time. The lady that was doing my nails was rude and rough...I had to pull my hands away several times. She and the lady putting on my new tip we're talking about me in their native tongue...looking at my hands and laughing. Here are pics of my hand three days later. Not the very best pedicure in town, but the best in SE Denver. They are super clean and accommodating. We were able to get in right away for two pedicures. They are so friendly and efficient. The foot massage was subpar but she did a great job getting my feet super soft! Paint job was really well done too. I recommend going here if you are in the neighborhood! read more

I love Sparks! Milan does a great job every time. I usually get a dip manicure with designs. I have asked her for some complicated imagery and she's super attentive to detail and is careful with your hands. She even did my nails for my wedding and I will remember them always! While the end result looked great, the process sucked. I paid $100 for a mani and pedi with gel and got zero massage for either. That's what I go for. I work on my feet all day and was really looking forward to this. She literally just rubbed my legs and arms. So disappointed. I might return but I will not see the same person I will be hoping for a better experience. read more

I'm not the type to leave reviews unless a place is really great or really awful, and this salon is SO great. I've been coming here every two weeks for about a year now and I've always had beautiful nails after each visit. I rotate between dip and shellac depending on what I feel like and how well my natural nails are keeping up. I get pedicures here too which have always been good. I'm absolutely obsessed with my current manicure that Milan did. All the techs are great but I'm just so in love with how well Milan did. I absolutely recommend this salon. read more

Visiting the area, and desperately needed a manicure. One of the best dip powders I have gotten. Good color selection. The salon is modern and super swanky. Love the decor. It was very clean inside. Staff was very friendly. They fit me in even though they were getting close to closing. I would definitely come back the next time Im in the area. Ann did a great job. Lan made me feel comfortable and painted the best, most even French tips I have had! She was fantastic, friendly, and talented, and what really set it apart is how she didn't seem to rush through anything and stayed with me a few minutes after they closed to continue to hot stone massage my feet and legs. This would be 5 stars, but I have had a not so good experience there in the past when I had bruised fingers from my job and just came in to get the gel off.The nail tech that I had that day seemed upset and rushed and hurt my fingers many times though I pointed out how hurt they were, I think a lot of it was that she knew it was not much of a sale to just remove gel, but it was necessary for me at the time, and she should have focused on a better experience for return sales once my hand had healed. read more

I had never been to Spark's prior to yesterdays appointment. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in! So nice and clean, inviting.. I needed to get my acrylic nails filled and filed and re-polished. It took about an hour and they turned out great. My job requires typing so I needed them pretty short, moreso than the last place did. It was $20 before tip for the service. Not bad. I will definitely keep coming back! read more

Not impressed at all. Got a manicure and pedicure and could have done a better job myself at home. The nails on my two big toes are different shapes/lengths. The cuticles on my nails were cut so much that I bled. The polish is lumpy and uneven. My nails look awful. read more

I had been going to this salon for months every time I would go In they would slightly screw something up which I would not leave without it fixed. Well, the time before last I had to go back because the lady in charge kicked the one who was doing my nails out of her chair and top coated them herself which left bubbles. They did buff them out and send me on my way free of charge when I went back in. This last time I went, I went to get an entirely new set of acrylics. They sat me with someone who didn't know what she was doing and she cut the tips too short after I asked her not to. I said something and they moved me over to the head lady's station. She removed them and started over being extremely rough in the process. She tried to charge me $10 extra for the length which isn't that long.... and I was on the verge of tears. I eventually got so frustrated that I made them take the tips off and walked out. I will not be returning to this salon and I ended up doing my nails myself with this kit and a set of tips I got from Sally's which I HIGHLY recommended The second set of photos I have included is from the time I had bubbles in my nails and the acrylic was fill of lumps read more

Hands down one of the best places I've been to for my nails. Not only are they friendly and do a fantastic job on your nails time and time again, the atmosphere of this place is one of my favorite parts of going. It is very clean and one of the coolest nail salons I've been to because of how modern and hip it is. They have cool music playing while you get your nails done and they have a cute little area with complimentary food and beverages! One thing I've found very hard to find when it comes to a nail salon is finding a place that has you leaving happy each and every time. I've been to this salon only about 5 or 6 times and I have never left unhappy or disappointed. These people are truly friendly and seem to be very happy with where they are working- which shows through their work and how they treat their customers. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend if you are in the Denver area :) read more

This is now my favorite nail salon! They take online appointments and have plenty of chairs. The interior was updated in November when they took new ownership but this shop's been around for over 10 years. They have more nail polish colors (both in shellac/gel and regular) than any other salon I've seen! This includes brands like OPI and Essie. Shellac pedicure is $30 and shellac manicure is $20. Acrylic nail set is $28 and acrylic with shellac is $38 (?). They played cool music that included Lana del Rey. The pedicure chairs are really comfy and doubles as a massage chair. Some customer came in with their two dogs and the dogs were allowed to stay (awesome!). The nail technician did a very thorough flawless job. They cleaned my nails nicely and didn't hurt me. The polish isn't smeared or thin in any spots and didn't get on my skin. There are also no gaps where nail polish should be. I'd highly recommend this place! read more

They WILL DOUBLE CHARGE YOUR DEBIT CARD and deny they did it,,, DO NOT GO HERE. I went in for a pedicure and full set .. looking at the prices, it should have been 95.00.. when I went to pay, they said it was 118 !! To make things worse, when I left, I went to the grocery store and could not complete my purchase because they had charged my debit card TWICE. I called my card .. they informed me there were two COMPLETED payments made to Sparks. I tried Calling Sparks, they never answered the phone . I had to drive all the way back over ( about 40 minutes) ... they blamed my debit card , they said they did NOTHING wrong and refused to even acknowledge their double charge, though I showed them proof AND let them speak to my Bank, who confirmed they had charged me TWICE. THEY STILL said they did nothing wrong. So now I have to go through the Process of disputing their Double charge.. they are continuing to deny my dispute .. in the meantime , the double charge remains and they want ME to eat it. read more

I had a great experience at Sparks. I read the other good reviews, so that made me want to try this place out, but always want to judge for myself if I like the place or not. Turns out I highly agree with the other positive reviews. Other nail salons I've been to, while they were clean, have gaudy/out of date decorations, and Sparks is very clean and modern/sleek looking, so the atmosphere grabbed me from the beginning. Also, some other salons I've been too reek of a faint nail polish smell lingering in the air, and this place did not at all. The service (I got a pedicure) was also friendly (they talk to you but not too much), are thorough, and the services are reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this salon. read more

Came in today for a walk in pedicure. The tech that did my pedicure did a wonderful job, and it was a very luxurious and relaxing experience (I just did the classic pedi and it included a light massage and a leg and foot exfoliation scrub which is just what my winter skin needed) the massage oil they used was pleasant smelling and my skin feels very soft. I brought my 19 month old son with me and they were so kind (he just sat on my lap and watched a movie) and my pedi looks great! Very nicely priced also! Their store is super clean and modern looking, very spacious and airy! Will definitely be back read more

I absolutely loooove this place, it is hands down the best salon in DTC. The salon is gorgeous, modern and classy. The pedi chairs are extremely comfortable and my toes look flawless. I got the dips manicure and it is the best looking manicure I have ever had. Needless to say I will return to Sparks and plan on only going Sparks from here on out! read more

He is so knowledgeable and friendly making the experience of getting my hair trimmed/styled that I am never afraid I will come away with a hack-job. Tala also has many other services, most that I am unfamiliar with such as massage, waxing, hair coloring services, etc. but I have had mani/pedi there and they were comparable to the other places.

I could literally feel the toxins leaving my muscles and pores. I immediately booked myself and my husband facials/men's skin treatment for the following month. I can't wait for my next treatment to experience the full facial with massage and light traction. The wax: The wax treatments were also the best I've ever received. Getting a Brazilian is never fun, but Kathryn made it as painless as she could and asked me if there was anything she could do that I thought might make me more comfortable. She is willing to alter strip length and heat settings (to the extent that is feasible) in order to make it the best it can be for you. The most impressive part of the wax service is the care she takes in healing your skin. I've been to many salons (Boston and Denver) and every wax I've ever received was only focused on getting me hairless and quickly, with a few tweezing of strays. Kathryn introduced me to a whole new way of looking at it. She took her time and was careful to take special care of ingrown hairs. I will not only be hair free "down there" but also with beautiful, healthy skin. Kathryn is the best at what she does, and feels it's her role to not only provide services but to really care for your skin and help it heal. She's truly an artist at what she does. Side notes: There was also no push of products and if you have concerns or breakouts within the next couple days, she'll see you again free of charge. My wax was cheaper than other salons by 15-20 dollars.
