They quoted me $31 for the service; it was SUPER basic: nail trim/file, some callous scrubbing (no actual "removal"), lotion application (no real massage, just wiping the lotion on my legs until it absorbed), no exfoliant scrub, polish. My pedicure looks good, but it should be the express pedi, not a regular pedi. The salon: -Looks clean enough, but not crazy fancy -Pedicure chairs are good, although, I don't have high standards for one (just need it to be comfy and recline!) -They have a working tv (with subtitles AND sound ha!) -Fairly good color options, but mainly for gel polish -I did not see tools or files come out of sanitized packaging, just a plastic box, but they did use liners for the pedicure tubs. -The techs were all friendly. P.S. if you bring your child and they use a screen to stay distracted, please consider giving them headphones or turning the screen volume down AT ALL. Not everyone in the whole salon wants to hear every word of their YouTube show. How is this not common sense? read more

I've been going here for gel pedicures for several years. The staff is friendly and accommodating and there is very little turnover. Even though I am not a regular, I always receive a warm welcome when I walk in. I get the gel pedicure so I am able leave with my shoes on. Their price is a reasonable $35, which is the price of a regular pedi at many places. My only complaint is that sometimes the polish floods my cuticles which makes me think it has been overly thinned. Overall though I am happy with this salon. It's a bit of a trek for me, but every time I get lazy & try out a new place closer to me, I'm disappointed because they just don't come close to the quality or value of KT. I read another review saying it wasn't a luxurious spa experience but I recently paid $60 for a gel manicure at Four Seasons downtown and the only thing that made that experience more luxurious was that it was in the Four Seasons. Not recommended. I went today 2 hours before they closed and asked for a full set just the basic acrylic. The lady was on her phone the whole time and talking to another employee. When I asked to cut my nails short she huffed and puffed and BARELY cut them short and when I said they were still long she said it was MY NAILBED THATS LONG NOT THE NAIL. I've been getting my nails done for about 10 years and had my worst experience here. I went in to get a new acrylic set and the technician did a horrible job; the nails were different widths and lengths and the work was very sloppy. The owner/manager also tried to up charge me on everything. They charged me extra for the shape (coffin nails), extra for the length (they weren't even all that long) and tried to talk me into getting gel polish which was also extra. I felt like I was being scammed. I've never been charged extra for length. It seemed fishy to me. I went back for a fill 3 weeks later and the technician (not the one who did the new set) said my nails looked bad and asked who had done them. I told her I'd had them done there. One nail had come off and she had to cut off a lot of the acrylic on the other nails because it was deteriorated. She also worked on making the widths and lengths more even. I went back for another fill (two nails had broken) and was charged $30 because I wanted just the tips painted. One week later and 2 nails have broken. I am not rough with my nails. With one I was opening a container and the other I literally bumped against something and the nail popped off and went flying. I have never had such inferior work done. Even my husband, who is oblivious to nails, noticed that my nails had never broken like this before. So I called the shop and asked to speak to the manager. I politely explained the situation, that even one of her techs had remarked on how poor the work was, and asked if they would cover a new set for me. She refused, said all of her employees are great, and that I should have come in every 2 weeks for a fill. I don't know anyone that gets a fill every 2 weeks and that has nothing to do with the situation. I again explained that the issue was the original job, that I'd been getting my nails done for years and had never had this issue. She said I could come in for a new set but would have to pay for it. I was not at all happy with the way she handled it. I said that I would take my business elsewhere. I gave her an opportunity to address and fix the situation but she refused. I am sorry to say that I do NOT recommend KT Nails and will never go back. The quality of work provided to me was abysmal, as is their customer service, not to even mention all of the up charges. read more

Scheduled an appointment with the salon and arrived nearly 10 minutes early. I waited an extra 25 minutes past my appointment time, nearly 35 in total, and they still weren't able to help me.
