The lady (Lisa) was very welcoming and nice. But its true, you get what you pay for! I paid for shellac and I have never had my polish chip or come off before till now. I also did shellac on my mani and I am extremely disappointed! I paid $85+tip and the only reason I tipped is out of courtesy but not because I feel like it was earned. My fingers hurt! My cuticles bled, and my nails were NOT shaped! Anddddd the shellac is bubbling which means my nails will need to be redone again in a few days! I will never go here again! read more

Best believe, this is your local diamond in the rough. Being in the nail business for most of my life, expectation exists. Lisa took her time to satisfy my request. Let's say that Lisa listened and delivered. She clearly understood the assignment. While usually getting nude or light pink colors, decided to go with a darker gel color this time. I really love this nail salon and the service they provide. I don't make appointments to the nail salon, and always do walk ins, and I love that they've always been able to fit me in and work with me. They always do a good job with my nails. I'm pretty simple and just want gel manicures and pedicure. They're efficient, but also take there time to make sure the polish actually goes on and isn't applied in a messy way. I like to keep my nails short so they file it and make it an attractive shape. Every time I get my nails here it always turns out great and vibrant. read more

I found this petite nail salon tucked in a mini stripmall off of S. Broadway in Englewood. Upon entering the salon I was greeted and asked what service Iwanted. I asked for a pedicure so let's go in. The woman I had did not speak a lot of English but she used gestures and body language very well. She handed me a loose ring of multi colored plastic nails and asked me to choose a color. Then showed me a laminated 5x9" card with four options to pick from for pedicure services. I had no where to put my purse or drink and the chair didn't work so I was a little uncomfortable. The entire business was quiet not even the employees were engaging. My nails were not cut and I asked for them to be filed which took about 2 minutes. The styrofoam toe separated was so thin and unstable it kept moving and my toes kept touching. I was there about a hour total and not as happy as I would like to be when I left. She spent as much time painting my nails as she did cleaning up unwanted nail polish on my skin. The price was $35 for option #3 on the list. I would say not worth the money for sure. I would not recommend this nail salon unless you have no other option. Please do better with customer service and maybe try some new products. read more

While the staff is nice and they have a good selection of colors, this is the worst mani I've ever received. My nails are chipping already, SO thick (I asked for 3 coats, but I've never seen it this thick) and the sides of my nails are messy looking. The sides look worse than before mani. And my thumb nail has a crack in it. I got these done yesterday afternoon!! Not to mention, it took over an hour. Overall, NOT impressed. Go elsewhere. read more

My daughter and I have been to this salon twice in the last couple of months. The first time there, my daughter I had an anxiety attack in the middle of her manicure. The staff was great. They quickly offered her water and a cold washrag and gave her lots of calm support. We went back a couple of weeks later so she could finish what they started. They were warm and welcoming and did a very nice manicure for her. In the meantime I had a mani-pedi. I had broken one thumb nail off and chipped the other (natural nails) they fixed both of those nails so my nails looked nice and even when they were done. I left a review for the last location but since it didn't carry over, I wanted to make sure they got proper props! I adore the staff here! I have never found another nail salon where the color lasts as long as it does with service from here. The shopping center it is in isn't that nice looking but the service is way better than the outward appearance and their store is always clean and comfortable. The previous location was much closer for me, but I am willing to make the drive b/c they do such a good job! They also have several options on their pedicures now so you can really pamper yourself or get the basics. read more

Do not get acrylics removed here! The people working were kind but they scratched at the corners of my acrylics with an unused acrylic nail and when they found a loose corner pushed the new acrylic under the old one and snapped it off. Only used the actual tools for 3 nails that they couldn't get off. When I got home I looked at my pinky nail because it started hurting and noticed it had split vertically down the middle, about halfway down the nail. Maybe they're better at painting and application but avoid them for acrylic removal (and probably gel too.) read more

This review is for my mother. She went to Broadway Nails for a pedicure and requested for a woman to do her toes. Instead they set her up with their male tech. The male technician is rough, cuts nails too short, and rips off cuticles. She came out of the salon bleeding! 2 weeks later and she still has sore toes. Please do not waste your money here. Pedicures should be enjoyable and relaxing, not something you have to worry about hurting or contracting some infection. Shame on them. read more

I had the worst, most painful ingrown toenail. I had gone to another salon and they cut my nails incorrectly. After a drs visit and months of pain, Lisa fixed it. I haven't slept in weeks due to the pain. She knows what she's doing!!! If I could give more stars I would. I will NEVER go anywhere else. read more

I made an appointment the day before and was ignored for 20 minutes when I arrived. Finally, an artist told me to move across the salon to her chair, where she was also working with another client, and where a client just finished her manicure and left. Immediately after I sit down in the still warm seat, the client she is working with repeatedly demands that I "move away from her" as she shoos me away. The nail artist proceeds to stand up from her work station and push my chair away from the woman. I silently collected my things and left. It was a humiliating experience and a sad display of conformity and subscription to racism. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON PERIOD. ESPECIALLY FOR POC. Worst custom service I have ever received. You could not pay me to ever go back. It is now public knowledge that Broadway Nails and their staff cater to a bitter, mean and racist clientele and they, therefore, will never receive any business of mine again. read more

They cut me with the cuticle trimmers on 2 of my fingers...I had to ask them for antiseptic to make sure I didn't get an infection! I also wasn't overwhelmed with the cleanliness of the place so based on those factors I'd say I'm not returning :/ read more

Had a bad experience today. I have gone to this place one other time because of the great reviews. The first time was good. This time, they have raised their prices so a gel manicure is $25. She rushed through my nails, and when I asked about a messed up nail, she didn't fix it. She also left some of my old HOT PINK nail polish on so you could see it through my Manicure. When these things were pointed out, she was Very rude. Not good customer service. And much like other salons, be prepared to be oversold. They will ask if you want waxes, pedicures and everything else under the sun. Not a great feeling. Nice people but not great customer service. read more

I would not recommend this place at all. I am new to the area and found this place nearby and thought I would try it. Very disappointed. I had called ahead to make an appointment for a gel mani/pedi, and the woman was polite on the phone and said they would have someone ready for me. When I arrived there was only one other woman there who was also getting a mani/pedi. As I walked to my pedicure chair, there was about an inch sized dead bug on the floor, which should have been the sign I needed to get out of there. My nails were started while in the pedicure chair and it was done very poorly and rushed. Like I said there was only two of us in there so there was no need to rush. My nails were filed crooked and too short after I asked her not to file them low. My nails were not cleaned and are still not even after the finished the polish. The woman doing my pedicure moved me to a chair in the front where she sat on the floor to do my pedicure and the floor was not clean. I have no desire to go back. We were a group of 4 that went to have a good time together. We called ahead and were told it was not busy and they could accommodate us. It was not a very friendly greeting but that was ok. We were there almost 4 hours which not pleasant - the were accommodating other customers as they came in before finishing with our group. A couple of the group opted not get the complete mani-pedi as planned. The service was not professional nor at all friendly. And to top that my manicure didn't even last 2 days and I was on vacation so there was no cleaning, dishes etc - the only thing I did was wash my hair the morning after the manicure. It was a total waste of time and money. I would love to get a refund but don't live in Englewood. Do not recommend. read more

Staff took their time and did a great job. This was one of the first times I've had a nail tech actually ask my name and remember it. Prices are average for area nail salons, $25 for a deluxe pedicure that included callus removal and a sea salt scrub. I also did a French shellac and that ran about $25. I would definitely go to this place again. read more

Best pedicure ever!!! Got my feet so smooth. Never have felt them this smooth. Ladies were nice and place very clean. Will be back.
