Painful and disturbing experience. Worst nail salon I have ever been to, hands down. Don't waste your money at this awful place. They ripped off my old acrylic nails by hand instead of using tools. My pedicure was ruined before I even stepped out the door. My nails are crooked and all of them are misshapen and pointing different directions. THEY ARE NOT EVEN STRAIGHT. The pricing is completely different than what it shows online. I asked for a basic French tip manicure and it looks ridiculous. I was angry and disappointed before even leaving. My nails look ridiculous. Each one is a different shape. NEVER COMING BACK. DO NOT COME HERE. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
I made an appointment for 2:15 and got there a little early! I was trying to find a new nail salon near me and found this one and selected any nail tech! Online it says $40 for a full set but I paid $65 for the ones on the right. I showed the picture and they said they could do it! I kept pointing, asking, and making sure they knew it was cat eye style on acrylic nails I've been seeing everywhere! I noticed they didn't do any cuticle care prior to adhering the nail tips! No cuticle cutting or anything! The lady was really friendly and made small conversation! I don't really have the best record for speaking up if my nails come out incorrectly so I paid the price and went about my day but now I know not to come here! I could do the nails myself for cheaper if I had wanted them basic and black! It's not bad if you want a basic set, but save your money! I said everything looked good to save myself the hassle but a different salon has fixed them since this incident :)

Came here for a pedicure and gel manicure. Only reason I'm giving one star is because the lady who did my pedicure was fabulous. The gel manicure on the other hand was hardly a manicure. The guy didn't touch my cuticles or do any of the "manicure" part of the manicure. Didn't have the color I wanted so subbed it out but I was like whatever.... The gel came out uneven with little bubbles. Again I was like whatever I'll never come back. Well three days after my manicure I had three nails chip. Call the store they say come back in they'll fix it. Okay... until I get the same guy who did my "manicure" in the first place. He tries to redo the three nails that had chipped and fails again!!! So another lady has to come over and fix them again. If you're looking for a manicure your kindergartner could give you this is the place. Otherwise spend 5$ more and go elsewhere.
The price for these nails in comparison to the quality is very disappointing. I paid $69 for a manicure that was rushed, sloppy, & poorly done. The nail tech didn't fully file off the color I previously had & it shows through on my new set. I asked for gems, and not even one day later, two of them popped off because she didn't use glue to adhere them. Each nail is a different shape, and all I asked for was almond. I shouldn't have to go home & file my nails to all match, and glue gems back on after paying $69 for them. When the nail tech saw she made a mistake, she left it and did nothing about it. Please don't waste your money here.
Very happy with the price and service. I was a little hesitant to book and bring friends here blindly based on such mixed reviews, but was pleasantly surprised to receive such excellent service. I've found my new local go to! I booked myself and 2 friends for pedicures. Not only did the staff do a great job of executing our pedicures, but the price was affordable at $25 for a classic pedicure AND they bent over backwards to accommodate us. They closed at 7, but we weren't able to make it earlier so they stayed open late just for the 3 of us! One of my friends even mucked up her toe getting into the car, and although the manager had closed everything down and was about ready to leave for home herself, she stayed for my friend and completely redid the polish for her. Amy was my technician and she did a fantastic job cleaning up my messy feet and the massage was probably the longest I've ever had in a pedi. I usually feel that this portion of the pedicure has become a glorified lotion application in my recent pedis, but Amy really lavished my feet and calves! Highly recommend this place!

I wish this place was better because it's in a good location for me. Pros Clean Cheap prices Cons/My experience 1. I asked for a black cat eye gel nails because I didn't trust their nail art skills. I picked straight from the examples they showed me...They gave me a silver cat eye by accident 2. When taking off the silver the man cleaning my nails went way too rough especially since my nails had just recently been scraped down 10 minutes ago. He was rude and genuinely didn't care how it felt even when I asked him to be gentler since they were raw. He proceeded to bend back some of the softened nails because would file too hard. 3. When I finally got the black I initially asked for I had to wait for someone else to finish before they fixed my nails. 4. I would have been ok with the whole situation especially since they did not overcharge me for fixing their color mistake and because I like a simple black nail just fine. I am only now upset because the next day. Literally less than 24hours and my manicure is already chipped.
Went here with my mom last week hoping for a great experience from seeing how many stars it got. The people were nice, gave us a bottle of cold water while getting our pedicures. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service and results. They barely did the exfoliation on our legs and feet. It took them maybe 15 minutes and it felt rushed. My feet weren't smooth when we left and still rough. I'm not a nitpicky person but I've gotten many pedicures and everyone knows your feet should be smooth and callous free even for a few days. Not a horrible place but will most likely not return. Embarrassed to show my feet but posting a visual so people can see.
I love XO nails. I don't do acrylic, dip, or anything fancy due to working in a kitchen, but the care and attentiveness to detail on my natural nails is always appreciated. The staff is friendly and the shop is clean. I highly recommend this salon! read more
I want to like this place but I went there today and now I have a fungal infection under my thumbnail. Work is really fast, product/result looks relatively nice (although not worth $50), and location is convenient. The skin between the skin and nail is broken open, red, itchy, and painful. read more

Love going to Kim at XO! My nails always turn out how I want!! I have tried many different designs and ideas and they always end up how I want! Definitely recommend! read more

I've come to this salon since I was in high school so for a little over 10 years and just love this place, they have always done an amazing job, the pedicures are fantastic and they are always so kind. read more

This place is amazing! Super clean and nice with a wide selection of colors. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of specific nail tech but she was great! She took a picture of what I wanted and kept looking back as a reference. Other salons/nail techs usually see the picture and say "ok I got it" but then, they mess up or doesn't look the same. This one was exactly how I wanted it! 10/10 read more

I wanted so badly to give this place more stars. The staff was super friendly and equally accommodating for my group of six that needed mani/pedis. They seemed genuinely interested in conversation and brought all of is bottled water. The salon is nice inside, with big comfy massage chairs (though I saw one lady's armrest was broken). What ultimately swayed my score is the fact that my nails chipped after two days. My nails are short and I didn't get French tips. I don't know if the chipping so soon after is due to low-quality nail polish or not enough top cost... Just disappointing. My toes still look great, but my left big one is red and slightly swollen from when my technician was digging along the side. I think I have an ingrown toenail now. Price seemed high to me: $36 for mani/pedi. I can get the same (minus sore toe) for cheaper out in LA where I live. read more

I have lived in the Englewood neighborhood for the majority of my life and have visited probably every salon around throughout the years. I always end up back at XO. The owners and staff are friendly, accommodating and do a wonderful job on mine and my 10 year old daughters nails and toes. Scheduling is a breeze online but they always do their best to get me in as a walk in too when needed. read more

Another visit... Got the dip... The guy who did it didn't clean up my cuticles, didn't pay attention to filing my nails so the sides are shaped like stairs, I said I wanted almond shape but got round, some parts aren't colored and he left bubbles on the obligatory UV gel top. I don't like UV gel but it's not an option to do anything without it. Most upsetting was that he left them so thick that I had to ask him to clean everything up and thin them down. They looked like that bubble nail trend and that's how he was going to leave it! And when I asked for him to clean it up, he seemed annoyed. It honestly looks like a beginner home done dip mani. I wouldn't pay them for a dip again. Next time I'll make sure to get mine done before I visit again. On day 8, I have to find someone to fix my nails now. read more

How to even begin. I was hesitant to go here after seeing some bad reviews but truthfully no other salons had openings that worked for me so I decided to give it a shot. I got seated right away but the towel put down on the table in front of me was already dirty... Gross. They offered me a water, and I noticed that there were a bunch of half empty water bottles on the floor behind my nail technician- not sure if they just gather all the ones left over to dispose of or if they use them to water plants or what - but it was weird that there were all these bottles on the ground. My nail technician didn't really say much to me, which I don't mind, but he was on the phone half the time he was working on me. That was a bit annoying. My nails have good coverage- there aren't any exposed areas, but several are quite obviously crooked and on an angle, even after I asked him to fix those nails. They're also not the same length. One nail has a big scratch down the center and I have no idea where that came from. Everyone was nice, and $40 for a full acrylic set isn't the worst, but everything else was just a bit off-putting. read more
