Chipped dip manicure 16 days after appointment

Olivia S.

Dip manicure barely lasted 2 weeks before lifting on the sides & chipping at the ends. I've been getting dip for 4 years and have never had a set crack this early. I'm disappointed because the staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was decent.

This place rocks!! I've been coming here for two years and always leave so happy. Def come here if you want to have the best treatment around downtown.

Theresa T.

I've always been able to come in for a walk in! $40 for a gel manicure and a perfect job. I also like to get the spa pedicure and it's so relaxing. I'll probably make this spot my regular since it's so close. 10/10 would recommend.

SNS Manicure with tips. Exactly how i wanted them.

Shay B.

Had the most amazing deluxe collagen pedicure with crystal water today. This was THE BEST PEDICURE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. So relaxing, great location. AMAZING MASSAGE!!!! Also had sns manicure with tips, turned out exactly how i wanted them and very beautiful. Byanba is amazing and did a great job. Will 100% be back :)

Romina G.

Staff was nice, Ily was super nice and thought she did a great job until I woke up on day 4 and half of my dip randomly fell off. Now day 6 and most of them all just fell off in whole. Very sad considering how much I paid :( I'm not from Denver so I cant go back either. Was there for 24h.

Not bad for 1 week old! Holding up nicely

My mom and I came in to get our gel nails done and we are so happy with how they came out! We asked for deep French nails and they let us take our time choosing our colors and making our decisions. From the cuticle cleaning, nail shape, to color and design, we are highly impressed with our nails - they're perfect for summer. We'll definitely be back soon! Not only was the manicure very meticulous, the place was also clean and had a nice, relaxing atmosphere. We were both highly impressed with our experience here! read more

Was in town needed my nails done... Worst nail places I've ever been to! The ladies barely said a word to me. The way they cleaned the nail tools was not sanitary at all! It was disgusting. I got a dip manicure and it's only been three days and is already lifting. Worst of all is that it was more expensive than the place I usually go to back home. What a waste of time and money. read more

Above and beyond!! Shinji did phenomenal. My nails were filed, buffed, clipped cuticles, then they used the base coat and began the dipped powder nails. After my nails were polished and dried, they used lotion and massaged my hands, and a hot towel was a nice finishing touch. They also applied cuticle oil at the end, such a nice extra step. The entire area is so clean too. I recommend this place. My total was $50 for dipper nails, also this is my natural length. read more

Let me get started. I walked in and nobody greeted me with a smile. When I sat down the girl didn't say a single word to me and even charged me before the service. Don't believe me? I have pictures of my nails and the woman holding the card reader in front of me. First off I don't know why I'm being charged for nails I haven't received yet. When I asked her why I was being charged before my service she gave me a disgusting look. My nails took 5 minutes but I sat drying them for 30. It got to the point where I had to ask another lady if I could go because I had a business meeting. I also have the receipt. Would not recommend ruined my experience. read more

They did a nice job on the gel manicure but I was told "15 minutes" wait time which was closer to 30. The staff didn't seem too hurried to get to me which was different than most nail salons I've ever visited. It was clean and the gel manicure ($40) looked nice. This is my go-to pedicure spot. The ladies are always kind, efficient, and do a great job with my gel pedicures. The massage chairs are to die for and make getting work done super comfortable (multi-tasking at its best). Plus, they have a ton of great gel colors to pick from. I do recommend calling ahead and getting an appointment, though! They can get pretty busy since they're located near the hotels in town and often have bridal parties etc popping in. read more

I have been going to Tip to Toe Nails since they opened in 2019. The staff is friendly and they are all excellent at their craft. Katy and her team make me feel welcomed and appreciated whenever I am there, for mani and/or pedi. The salon is clean and relaxing. I moved a ways away in 2020, and still drive to Orchard and Yosemite to get my nails done. I HIGLY recommend this salon. read more

My friend and I are staying at The Curtis and stopped in for pedicures--it was a great experience! They were a little short-handed, so we had to go one at a time, but we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a problem. The salon was nice and clean, and they offered us bottled water to drink. We both opted for the Lavender Hot Stone pedicure. The massage was WONDERFUL and the tech took her time and did a really nice job with callous removal, nail trimming, and painting. We paid $55 each and definitely felt like we got our money's worth. Overall a great experience! read more

My partner and I both got the Delux pedicures and paid 70 dollars before tip for their service. When we went it was just us and one other customer which was actually nice. They saw us immediately and were both very nice. Since I had called a little bit before theh had everything ready and waiting for us. After walking up and down the strip ealier that weekend and the hike the day before we definitely needed pedicures. They were very gentle with our feet and made sure not to accidently clip to short at all. They were both very friendly and made sure we recieved a very nice treatment. The only complaint we really had was the use of the hot stones. My partner is a massage therapist and skilled in hot stones treatment and they did not seem to fully know how to correctly use them. They nearly burned the both of us because they placed them in the wrong areas at the wrong time. However with immediate correction it was avoided thankfully. Overall I would recommend this place if you want to splurge a little and honestly it's a good price for 2 full delux pedicures. read more

I'm obsessed with the way my deep french nails turned out. I showed Ghana a photo of what I wanted and she was able to flawlessly execute it. I struggled with selecting a color, but Ghana was able to recommend the exact shade of pink I was looking for. I love that my nail beds look long, and the gel polish definitely makes the design look cleaner. Not only do my nails look great, the interior/space is sophisticated and spacious. I was at the shop for around 2 hours for both mani-pedi, but every hour was extremely busy and packed. It's not too hard to figure out why this place is so popular! read more

My friend and I came here when on a weekend getaway for my birthday. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. And even though we were the last customers of the day and our treatments went past closing they did not try and rush us or anything. One of the best pedicures I've had bc the foot and leg massages were so great. Very high quality and a great experience! We highly recommend. I wanted to get a mani/pedi last minute, and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this shop! The ladies were all so nice and made my feet and hands look so nice. I do a lot of manual labor for work, and don't often go to do nice things like this for myself. I think $55 for a mani/pedi is really not too shabby, especially considering the care and time they put into making my cuticles look super clean and nice. I like how they clearly sanitize all their tools (huge pet peeve for me when places don't) and their detail to attention. Thank you!! read more

If I lived here, Tip to Toe would be my go to nail salon. They were super welcoming and the manicurist did an amazing job on my pedicure. Despite how high their prices are compared to the salons that o normally attend in The Bay Area (CA) I would still go here. My pedi was $35 + $5 extra for the long lasting polish. They had a nice variety of colors and quality polishes. It was great to be able to relax during my whirlwind travel schedule for this month. I definitely recommend this salon! read more

I'm a huge fan of pedicures, when I got to tip to toe, (yes, reservations are recommended) I had reservations for a Mani-Pedi. The $50 pedicure #2 w/ honey & lemon extract was pretty good, they did a nice job on my toes, bottoms and ankles, I just wish they had scrubbed the bottom of my feet a bit more. The $20 manicure was a little different, I've always had my choice of what manicure I'd like to have, no such luck. My hands have either been soaked or placed in warm moist glove heaters to soften the skin, nope straight into trying to push the cuticles back, little on the pain side, especially when they went to clip the cuticles and potential hang nails out. Then sanded with a dry sponge sander, not too much fun. So if you offer a menu for a pedicure, why no menu for a manicure? At least I would have had a choice in the way my hands were done. Overall 3 stars at best!! Good luck read more

I was going to Lane for six months at Acronychous. No issues with nail designs as she's talented in…read morereplicating the designs I sent. My issue is with customer loyalty. During my time as a client I was asked by Lane to reschedule 3 of my appointments without explanation. All of which I accommodated by moving things on my schedule. On Sept 3rd, I received a text once again asking to change my appointment on Oct. 29th @ 4p to Oct 28th same time. While I said OK, I asked that this be the last reschedule as it was third time and honestly it was inconvenient - especially considering these appointmentsare booked months in advance so, I build my schedule around it. Fast forward to Oct 27 and I have chosen a design and as usual sent it to Lane via IG stating this was for our Wed Appt on the 29th since that was the time/date still on my calendar from their scheduler and I didn't think about the text two months ago. (To Note: Whenever an appointment was sent by them (even a change) it's updated in the Google calendar). She responded to my message saying " You Got It!". I'm always excited when getting my nails done and have a trip planned this week so, I was really looking forward to it. So, the next day (Tuesday), I receive a text from Lane at 3:52p saying "Hiiii! Just realizing your insta message said Wednesday and our appt is today at 4! Just confirming that I'll see you in a few ". Wait what? I was confused so, I sent her a screenshot of my calendar and email which had the appointment for Wed and was FROM the nail shop. Also, how do you just realize this 8 min prior to an appointment? She asked if I received an email with the new date and time to which I said no because if I had - it would have updated in my calendar. She then says she has no other 4p appts for the remainder of the week. I said " Fine, I guess I'll see you next month" as I was understandably disappointed. She then offered a time for next week to which I say " No thank you. Have a great weekend" because I have a meeting I can't move. Her response? "My policy does state that 100% of a service will be charged for last minute cancellation/no show....ill add that charge to your next appointment on Tuesday, November 25th at 2pm." Seriously? For her mistake/oversight, she wants to charge me basically double next time? Mind you I spend at LEAST $170 each visit not including the 20 - 25% tip I leave every time. Not only that - I've accommodated her requests THREE TIMES prior even though I had to move something. I have been consistent customer who at most has been 7 minutes late MAYBE twice and have always communicated and have been apologetic. I was so disappointed by the unprofessionalism that I canceled my remaining appointments for the year and will not be returning. Just goes to show that loyalty and flexibility doesn't mean much to some service providers.

I will never go anywhere else from now on!! I have had my nails done with gel polish and gel powder three times now. At this location, my favorite girls so far are Michelle who always does my nails and Katie who recently did my toes! Both girls were incredible and did a fantastic job. I normally make an appointment to go in and every time I walk in they immediately see me and never ever get started late. I recently moved to Denver just a couple of years ago and I was looking for a nail salon downtown that I could come to which is very close to my apartment and not insanely expensive. I am so happy with my experiences at this place and I'm so glad that I found it. I highly recommend any of the girls to do your nails and every single girl in there is hilarious and can spark up great conversation which makes you feel welcome and makes you feel at home. Some of my favorite things about tip to toe nails are the prices, Michelle, the conversations with all of the girls, The music playlist they have on in the background, the great decorations, and all of the different colors for gel polish. I always get gel polish on my nails whether it is with gel powder or just on my regular nails with a manicure and at the last couple of places I have been to there have not been very many options for gel colors (maybe 30) but at this location they have multiple colors to choose from (seems like almost 100!!!)! I highly recommend this place :) read more

This is by far the best salon in Downtown Denver! The salon is very welcoming, and the entire staff is so nice and knowledgeable. I've never had an experience that I wasn't happy with. The entire staff is really the best around! With any nail salon, cleanliness and hygiene is of the utmost importance, and Tip to Toe Nails is definitely one of the cleanest salons I've even been to. This may be the only nail salon for me! They had me at my first visit. I made an appointment for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure with Michelle and both turned out amazing! I am very particular about nail shape, polish etc. and she had so much attention to detail, it was a perfect match! This is the best gel mani I have ever had. My nail shape is perfect and my color is ever so shiny. The pedicure was really relaxing with the chair and calf massage. Tips: -If you can't find a parking stop on the street, call to ask if they have a guest parking spot open in the Curtis Garage. -It's next to the Curtis Hotel. The store is below a cute nail polish container sign. Go & treat yourself , you deserve it! read more

About a month ago, walking down Curtis from the Performing Arts Center, I saw the sign in the window saying "Tip to Toe Nails Coming Soon". The owner, Michelle and her husband were in the midst of putting the finishing touches on a warm and elegant salon--just like Michelle, Carissa and the other wonderful and talented women who have worked with Michele for years in her other salons. Their pedicures, manicures and gels are top shelf. I have observed the care and time spent getting to know everyone who walks in the door. And, it's located in the heart of downtown!! Three short blocks up from Larimer Finally, my nails and I have found a permanent place for their care, and I have found a place for pampering and relaxing. Ahhhhhhh read more

The price is comparable for the area, but the skill and service surpasses other salons I've been to on/near the 16th St Mall. Michelle is great! Today was my first visit to the salon, and I'm so glad I tried them out. The staff are all friendly and professional, and my full set was done quickly but with care. The salon is clean and nicely decorated, and I felt welcome and comfortable here. There were a number of regulars in while I was there, and it was clear they are doing a great job with customer service here. I have been coming to this salon for over a year now and I could not say one bad thing about them. I see Michele and she always does an amazing job and will even alter her schedule to accommodate my busy schedule. All of the girls are very friendly and the salon itself is very clean and well put together. This review is for Denver residents and downtown visitors. If you are particular about your nails,…read morethis is the place to go. After one visit, I can honestly say that if I lived in the Denver area, I would have a standing monthly appointment with Lynn. I was supposed to get my mani-pedi at my home salon the day before our trip to Denver, but I was feeling too poorly to go anywhere. I started researching nail salons near our hotel to make an appointment for after we arrived. Cosmopolitan had great reviews, was closest to our hotel, and when I saw they accepted walk-ins, I decided to call after we checked in, since I had the flexibility to go the same day as arrival or the day after. After the airline delayed our flight by 2.5 hours, I likely would have missed any appointment I had scheduled. When I called, Lynn had an opening within 45 minutes. I actually got there within 30 minutes, and she took me immediately. I will confess, I have been to salons that were more luxurious and offered more frills. I can now see those salon owners added bells and whistles to distract you from the fact that their providers aren't as talented, dedicated, or conscientious as Lynn. She made me very comfortable in the massage chair. She asked if I preferred the water warm or hot. No one has ever asked my preference on water temperature before! I always adjust to the provider's comfort level of the water temperature, which is frankly never hot enough for me. I'm talking well over 30 years of having my mani-pedis done in salons from Manhattan to Princeville, Kauai. Lynn gave me hot water. She completely removed my dip fills and tips. She gave me the most meticulous pedicure I have ever enjoyed. Then she applied a full set of new tips and gave me the most stupendous manicure ever. She worked on my cuticles for well over 20 minutes. She clipped but never nicked my cuticles once. That was a first for me, too. She shaped my nails exactly like I prefer. I can't tell you how many providers have rounded the corners of squared nails instead of giving me the rounded shape I prefer on my stubby fingers. She also did my pinkies straight-on rather than slightly angled (as that is easier for the provider). My nails looked spectacular before any polish. I could have left then and been happy with them for two weeks. Lynn asked my opinion and preference on each aspect of the polish (I got a French manicure). At one point, I thanked her for doing the pedicure and then taking me to the manicure station because I hate it when salons do both at the same time, which my home salon normally does. Lynn chided me for not making my preference known when that happens. When the work was complete, she asked me if there was anything she could do to make me happier with my nails. They looked stunningly beautiful, so I declined. If I had been displeased with anything, even though her next client was waiting, I could have asked to reshape or repolish a nail, and she would have done it. If you take pride in your nails, if you work on your feet and they need babying, if attention to detail and outstanding artistry is important to you, you need to come to Cosmopolitan Nails, and especially to see Lynn.
