super addicted to this place, best thai food i have ever had in my life. and their lunch special, you cant beat it. i usually get a salad with peanut dressing (which is to die for) and their spicy fried rice with pork and it comes with a spring roll. all for just $10!!!! its an incredible deal and you will definitely leave with some to go the portions are huge. service here is always great, everyone is super nice read more

This place has some really quality Thai food. They make my favorite Tom Yam soup on LI, spicy yet very tangy and oh so good! Their pad thai is pretty on point with all the other local joints, no egg in it which I know is a plus for some people. I've also had the chicken curry which was very nice as well. The service is great and the people who run the restaurant are very nice. Will be going back again soon. read more

A jewel in Farmingdale. The portions are on the small side but for people with normal appetites they are fine. Another reviewer said some of the dishes are unnecessarily fatty/oily/buttery. I agree. I like spicy food but the dishes weren't really spicy for me. I guess I need to emphasize that I want it HOT. I just didn't want to overdo it, know what I'm sayin'. Anyway, I would definitely go here again but the dining area is, well, tiny. Claustrophobia tiny. Staff is tiny. That means you can't order for take-out because they don't answer the phone. They simply don't have the manpower to satisfy customers. Also, there's a large TV often blasting baseball or cartoons which I find annoying. Sometimes they have it turned off with ethnic music on. I prefer that. read more

The Pad Thai Lover (#60) is fantastic. The Tom Kha soup is good but I've had better. I'd still order it again until I find something better in this area. read more

They have a vegetarian section on the menu, great for vegans, think I ended up here twice by chance, ambience is nice but more casual than not, people are nice:) read more

This is my favorite place to get Thai food on Long Island. Despite lots of the reviews below, I've never had a problem with service here. My server has always been friendly. I highly recommend the golden purses as an appetizer and the fried ice cream as a dessert. They set the ice cream on fire, it's awesome. I always get the Rad Na as my entree bc it's just so damn good. The place really is tiny though, so don't bring a large group. read more

This place was the first time I had Thai food. My gf brought me here a few months ago and the food is really good. I haven't had anything bad here. I just had the Tiny Thai fried rice, it's a good amount that you'll need to pack up some to go home unless you can eat it all. I'll definitely be coming back and Tanya is a great waitress! read more

This place is amazing... Very small and limited seating but the food is spectacular!!! I always get the PAD Tai with Tofu and I am never disappointed. The Server is very efficient and always asks how spicy on the level 1,2,3,4,5 I always say no spice but its always a little spicy so watch out. I always order an extra to take home!! read more

Today I decided to give Tiny Thai one last try only because my favorite place next door was closed. This is my 5th time at Tiny Thai and every time I come in I have the same issues. I thought ok let's give it one last try. The owner is rude and a "wise a***. I ask her a question regarding something on the menu she said "read the menu" I once ask if I can sit in the corner she yelled "NO YOU SIT HERE" meanwhile it was empty. The food is mediocre, It's never excellent just ok. If you want delicious Thai food in the Nassau area I would recommend Frankie's Thai in Franklin square. The owner is very friendly and the food is ALWAYS excellent. I will not be returning to Tiny Thai. read more

I saw this restaurant from the train and it looked like a cute little place in the town. I decided to give it a try.. Unfortunately, the food seemed more like fast-food chinese food than thai. It seemed to have a loyal following though. People who came in seemed to be regulars and told the owners how they loved the place. My guess is that they haven't tried thai food anywhere else. read more

I love this place. It's just so cute and cozy. Drunken Noodles and Pad Se Yew (spelling? sorry) are very good. Thai Iced tea also delicious. I used to call it my favorite place, but I just went to one in Ardmore, PA, that made me realize there is better. I have yet to find a better place on Long Island, and I've tried 3 or 4. If you're not really picky with your Thai, you will love it. I recommend not going if you're not willing to sit and wait a while, because it is slow, but in a relaxed way, not an annoying way. read more

The food was great but the service was the worst I've ever seen. The young waitress was incompetent and extremely rude. she was impatient when taking our orders and took my spoon before I could finish my soup. They used to have a really nice old lady working here but she left for some reason. Now, this place is packed because of its food definitely not its service. read more

Everytime I go to Tiny Thai I ask myself why? This place is very befitting of the name in staff and services but it's the only thai food restaurant in the area and my coworkers oftentimes want to eat thai at this place...so I go with the flow. I frankly believe they like the entertainment from the witch that runs this place by herself. A group of us went to celebrate my coworker's birthday and as always there were a line of people waiting to be seated. The lady who is the waitress, cook etc with her usual mean demeanor totally ignored us. Finally a few tables became vacant and some of my friends tried to help her join them together and to our dismay she started shouting at them to leave it as she would take care of everything. When she was done and we were seated she proceeded to help some other patrons who had just arrived and got them seated and served them water and soup. She then returned to our tables and took our orders in a rush, ignoring any questions we asked and leered at me when I commented that she needed help. While they found amusement in our experience, I barely ate my over spiced food and promised my friends that I would not leave a tip for bad service. I left once again feeling cheated and vowed not to patronized this restaurant ever again. If this lady is the owner SHAME on her for treating customers like this and SHAME on patrons like myself who continue to make her business thrive regardlless of her shoddy treatments. If she has a boss and he/she keeps her employed inspite of the disrespectful way she treats the customers then SHAME on them!! NO MORE TINY THAI FOR ME!!!!!!!!! read more

Food was just ok. Pad Thai was definitely better than others. My problem was the attitude of the workers. Very stand offish. The pad Thai was also a small portion size. Kind of pricey for what we got. I don't know if I'd go back. read more

From the name of it, the place is really "Tiny", we had to drive around just to find this restaurant. The lady was not friendly, I think she's a bit rude, but my friends seem to like her accent, soft and slow, go figure!! Drunken noodle was not bad (can add more basil though), Tom-yum shrimp soup was okay, Volcanic chicken was terrribly sweet and soggy (no one was touching it the second time), and the Thai tea was unbelievably sweet (they may have sugar plantation to be able to use that much sugar on ea dish and drink). Above all, the price is outrageous for the amount of food... read more

rude service, ordinary food, expensive for the quantity we received. when asked for a hot sauce they offered it as if they were doing a big favour. ordered take out - veggie fried rice + spring rolls. read more

Service is horrible and don't even try to order for pick-up. I love the food here but it is not worth the wait, eat-in or eat out. I always have to call for the last 45 minutes with no answer. And if you go in for take out without calling first get ready to wait for another 45 minutes. One woman running the place just isn't enough, regardless of how "tiny" it is. read more

I've been here a few times. Great spot. Place is very small and gets packed at lunch but the food is good and you wont leave disappointed...hope you like is spicey read more

Worst customer service ever, I just called to make an order for lunch special and the lady whoever answer the phone told me to check online then order, i told her that I checked already that's why I called you. She said fine, hold on. Then I waited on the phone like for almost 4 minutes, she didn't get back to me or anything, I thought she forgot about me so I hanged up, called again. Ok this time she answered, but I heard her phone ringed at the same time, so the way how she handled the business was she choose to hanged up my phone to get hers. Ok, last chance I told myself I'll keep trying again, fine, finally she didn't answer my phone at all! Will never call back to this place not worth to try! read more

Great Thai food. Favorites on the menu include the curry puff appetizer, pad Thai with chicken, masaman curry and the spicy fried rice with beef. Service at the restaurant is decent and they make sure you have whatever you need. It's small but intimate The only thing that really irks me about this restaurant is that they close every day from 3pm--5pm. Who does that? I understand wanting to save money if its slow but 2 hours right before dinner rush is inconvenient for those who like to eat dinner earlier in the evening. read more

My best friend has been telling me about this place for years and about the crazy lady who works here that does everything by herself. We went last night, but I did not get to see this lady that everyone talks about. I ordered green curry shrimp and it was pretty good. I'm used to getting jumbo shrimp when I get this dish, but Tiny Thai has small shrimp. The prices are reasonable but the portions are smaller than what I'm used to. I finished everything. There were two waitresses working and they were kind of slow. We had to wait to get forks after receiving our food and had to ask for rice too. My friend had the vegetarian duck and said it was good but not as good as it usually is. All in all, the food is good but I prefer Chili and Curry or Masala Wok in Hicksville. read more

Great little thai place in downtown Farmingdale. The wonton soup is probably the best I've ever had (specifically the broth they make it with..oh man). Had one of the duck dishes for my dinner as well which was very good. Not the best thai place on the island, but would rank it in the top 5. Considering how good the food is and how small the place is I'm surprised they don't fill up the place more often. read more

If you enjoy friendly and courteous service do not go here. Waitress/ manager/ hostess is rude and aloof, if you have any kind of question or issue you can expect an arrogant response. Food is not bad but overpriced and I reiterate the service is horrible. read more

Delicious, cute interior, great staff!

The service here especially by the petite Thai lady was the worst! I could not understand her over the phone when placing the order and she never answered any of my questions regarding if a dish was vegatarian, if they used chicken/meat broth? She would just keep repeating its vegatarian. When I went to pick up the order she wouldn't even answer a single question of mine and blatantly ignored me. Not sure what her problem was but we usually order Thai food twice a week and looks like I will not be using this place. If the owner is reading they should make an effort to train their staff to be more courteous to customers read more

Best Thai food in the area especially if you like spicy. I have never been dissapointed.

Slow service but the food was fresh, tasty and overall satisfying. This place has been here a long time. Know why?

So delicious! I don't know why there are so many bad reviews. I was there last week and there were many take out deliveries and two other tables. I didn't hear the woman yelling at anyone and she was very pleasant to me. I got the Drunken Noodles with vegetables and tofu and it was insanely delicious! Give this spot a try! read more

Why 2 star? SERVICE. waiter skipped me 3 times to give my table to someone else. Saying "huh they came first". No, because even the customers I was standing around felt bad for me and offer to share their table. I still ate there after 30min wait since friend needed to just have something and get back to work. Fried rice was good I liked it a lot. BUT, like many others said in the comments they have issues with service. read more

I've been going to Tiny Thai for years and I really enjoy the food. Sometimes when it's crowded service can be a little bit slow but I think it's worth the wait. For starters try the bags of gold, curry puffs or a cup of wonton soup. Their wonton soup is the most delicious wonton soup i've ever had. My favorite dishes are chicken curry, chicken noodles and the volcano chicken. Their dishes can be spicy so let the waiter know if you can't handle too much spice. read more

They are absolutely serious about the "Tiny". Great food, excellent service, tough to get a table.

Horrible. Both the food & the service. First I tried to call to place a order for myself & a coworker. After numerous attempts with no one picking up finally a woman answers with "what you want". We tried ordering by number and hear nothing but the clanking of dishes....tried to call back only to get same rude woman who kept saying "I'm very busy". Really?? When I ask her "how long?" she tells me 30 minutes. My coworker goes to pick it up 30 min later, not only was it NOT ready they didn't even prepare it. Another 20 min wait... Now on to the food-we both ordered the Rad na with beef. Bland, meat was tough as nails and the broccoli soggy. We split the coconut shrimp with plum sauce appetizer. The shrimp was over cooked & tough. And the portions are ridiculously small for $9.00. A friend of mine owns a Thai restaurant in Brooklyn and the same dish is $7.50 and you always have enough to take home. Save you money. If I could give this joint less than 1 star I would have read more

Wonderful food and kind staff. One of the better thai places I have been to around here!

Service is definitely rude, but food is excellent! Pad Thai with spicy level number 3 is good enough to enjoy and sweat a lil

Will never come back here. I ordered the fried spring roll and the pra-ram ( chicken with peanut sauce). The pra-ram was cold and soupy. The spring roll is tasteless. It is my first and last, I so despise this place. Waste of money, portions are so small. read more

A sweet little mom and pop shop that hits your Thai craving right in the spot. I had the drunken noodles and had plenty on my plate. I felt that the spices were present but could have been better incorporated. Additionally, I like my spices to have a greater dimension to them. The spices chosen didn't add a layered nuisance to the dish. The noodles were cooked to a good consistency. I did feel that there should have been more tofu in my dish than I had received. But it was a yummy dish overall. I then ordered the coconut desert and it was a simple sweet and savory dish. It was a bit smaller than I had expected for the pricing, but it was well executed. There are two layers with contrasting characteristics that melded beautifully. The bottom layer is a rice derivative and provides a sweet flavor with a gelatinous consistency. The top layer is the coconut aspect and is very buttery and light. The saltiness of the coconut complements the rice portion well. The fact that it was served warm was a wonderful way to maximize the flavors. Th waitress was warmly attentive and very hospitable. Her smile certainly added to my experience! As the main waitress in this small little shop, she's a fantastic face for the business. She helped provide a very down to earth environment. I would prefer a lower price point for smaller servings. The prices were fair albeit still a bit high for a mom and pop shop. But, it was a overall a good experience. read more

Food was okay- but service was awful. Waitress was annoyed for the entire meal. She only served to me so I had to pass all dishes and drinks to our party of 6. As soon as our meal was served- she announced the kitchen was closing - which was probably why she was so annoyed. It was 8:30 on a Friday evening. Worst part was when my friend asked her for a container to wrap her rice- the waitress said no because the kitchen was closed. We could clearly see the containers stacked above the counter. Will not return. read more

Stopped in for dinner as a family. Food was absolutely delicious, and the owner was delightfully polite and nice. She even offered our son a soft drink free of charge and was attentive to her guests. The food and service at Tiny Thai were very very good- unlike the meal we had in Thai Flavors Kitchen in Bethpage. Head on down to Tiny Thai and enjoy a delicious Thai meal! read more

Food is so good. Restaurant is small but totally worth the wait. Best Thai on the Island!
