I have bookmarked this place for a few weeks. Maybe because of the anticipation, I had pretty high expectation. The 2 drinks I wanted to order were sold out so I only get to try their cakes. I bought a chocolate dog, a white cheese dog cake, the rabbit panna cotta, the original crepe cake and the durian crepe cake. The animal characters were super cute. The presentation were excellent. Wow. I don't know where to begin here. We've been to timeless tea a few times before, and their drinks have been decent by my standards. Today we ordered a pomegranate fruit tea and an orange fruit tea, and the only honest sane conclusion i can come to is that the owner either doesn't taste the drinks they put on their own menu or they simply don't care what they put out. Both drinks were so sweet they must've contained enough sugar to sweeten 2, 3, maybe even 4 drinks. They also have some real nerve calling either of them fruit teas because they tasted devoid of tea. I've never had to waste anything like this but these drinks were absolutely horrible and unsalvageable, and I'm amazed that they even offer them. Avoid these items completely. read more

SO CUTE I visited this place last weekend when the weather was nice and I was pleasantly surprised by their dessert selection. It seems like they make all their animal-themed goodies in house and I couldn't resist getting one. The dog cakes are definitely insta-worthy and I was blown away by how realistic they look. Taste wise: they were ok not the best but I think the novelty was the fact it looks like you're eating a dog. It costs about $7. Go for the brown chocolate dog because the white cheesecake dog tastes like cream cheese.... I read the reviews about the customer service, was hoping they proved it wrong. But nope! No greeting, no smiling, minimum communication. They looked so done of life lol Bulldog mousse and rabit panna cotta looked super cute, and instagramable. Had some craving for some milk tea and sweet treat so we ordered takeouts from here. They packed everything well and their packaging is noticeably a higher quality than other typical boba place, it's thicker material so it's reusable. Obviously the Chocolate Bulldog Mousse Cake is an eye-catcher. It looks so realistic and adorable without a doubt. I'm quite a softie so I needed quite some time to prepare myself mentally to take the first spoonful and honestly each subsequent scoop still felt like a slice to the heart, not sure if there's a trick to enjoy this cake without feeling like a murderer lol. Aside from my personal mental struggle, the mousse cake itself is very tasty! It has a perfect mousse texture with a strong cocoa flavor and in the middle there's a small white sponge cake. It isn't too sweet and I would recommend if you like cocoa. Saw the Charcoal Mille Crepe Cake was one of their best sellers so we felt compelled to try it out. It has charcoal powder and in between it's basically just thick whipped cream so it's completely bland, thus I won't recommend. We also got the Meat Floss Cake. It's basically a soft sponge cake sliced in half and joined together with a light cream, and coated in meat floss. It's good but not sure if I would want to pay $13 again for this. The Black Sugar Boba Fresh Milk is very good. We ordered a quarter sugar and loved how perfect the sweetness was. The black sugar has that caramel and smoky flavor that blends well with the light milk. Both my husband and I don't really like tapioca boba in our drinks cause they're too chewy for beverage, we usually substitute with other options like popping boba. However their boba is actually fresh. The texture is light, airy and less chewy than typical tapioca balls. We actually like it a lot. The Dragon Fruit Smoothie honestly knocked our socks off. It is pricey but you get to reuse the cute bottle. It just tastes so good! The fresh and exotic flavor of the dragonfruit mixes well with the (jasmine) tea and the cream lends a really nice creaminess to the drink. The strong floral note is very prominent and it's just remarkable. Of everything that we got, this is our favorite and I'd highly recommend. read more

They have BULLDOG shaped desserts- a chocolate mousse or cheesecake flavor. They're so realistic and almost too cute to eat. The chocolate mousse was light and wasn't overly chocolatey. The cheesecake was okay but too plain. I wouldn't get it again. The taro crepe cake was sweet, soft, and light. The honeydew melon smoothie and milk cream mango drinks had fresh fruit chunks in it and were very refreshing. The four season green tea didn't have an overpowering green tea flavor which was nice for me because I don't like green tea (my friend got this) but if you're looking for a strong green tea flavor then I wouldn't get it. I've seen people post on the internet about the cake that looks like a bulldog. When I saw it at Timeless Tea, I just had to try it. Along w/ the cheesecake bull dog mousse, I also ordered their durian smoothie. I never tried durian before, so I was interested to try it for the first time. I must say that the smoothie was a good introduction to durian. Prior to trying it, i've only heard that durian smells bad, which I can definitely agree with. As for the main reason why I came in the first place, the cheesecake bulldog, was also pretty good. There's also small chocolate pieces for some of the details of the cake. The detail overall was really good! You can't help but feel bad every time you stab your fork into the cake. The only thing I wished for was more of a cheesecake taste, since I'm a big cheesecake guy. Although I'm not much of a cake person, I still thought it was pretty good. Bubble tea enthusiast here! I have got to say the BEST bubble tea spot in the area. Atmosphere is great along with the decor. Their menu is HUGE as far as selection. They have many different types of desserts too. I always get the black pearl milk tea. Their cups are cool too it's absolutely spill proof. The tea is not too sweet nor not sweet enough. The best part is it doesn't give that nasty aftertaste that most milk teas do. Boba is nice and chewy. Also got the bunny looking dessert too. They said that oreo and taro are their most popular mille crepe cake flavors. I got oreo, and it is a bit pricey at $10.50 per slice. However, after tasting it I understand the price - when you cut into it you can distinctly see all the crepe layers and the care that went into making it (there is probably ~25 layers of crepe). The oreo flavor was delicious. Surprisingly, it wasn't too sweet. Though, there is a lot of cream sandwiched between the layers so make sure you're ready to eat something rich and heavy if you get one of these cakes. read more

Milk Cream Yellow Tea with grass jelly. Mmmm so yummy. The tea had a deep roasted flavor, and the cream was luxurious and salty. I really love this tea. I wish it came in a larger size! And grass jelly is probably the best grass jelly I've ever had. It had a nice texture and a subtly sweet flavor. Coffee Milk Tea. Had a nice flavor. I personally would've liked a bit more milk. I wish we had the option to add salted cream to any drink! I've had better coffee flavors from other places, but this one was good as well. Purple Rice Tea. There's desserts that is shaped like a realistic cute ass dog, what more can I say? Where were all these Asian cafes to hang out at when I was college age, these kids have no idea how lucky they are now. I drove all the way from Bellevue to University district to come check this place out. Interior was trendy as expected, there's a private parking lot. My friend ordered crepe cake expecting only a slice, but it was a generous size cake packaged in a gift box with a bow. To be honest, the drink I got was ok, but everything else is on point. I always like asking their recommended drinks, and so we tried the four seasons green tea milk tea and it was so good. We ended up getting it in a small, with grass jelly, and it came in the cutest cup and packaging! The milk tea was really good too, in terms of taste. It wasn't too sweet, or watery. The grass jelly was also great. Wish I would've gotten the large instead of the small. But I actually originally wanted to come here to try their mille crepe cakes. I thought the idea of it was interesting and saw that they had unique flavors, such as charcoal, durian, and matcha. (Basically it's a layered crepe with a ganache cream separating them.) So we got the durian and matcha mille cakes, each being $9 per slice -- verrry pricey IMO. The matcha one was OK. It had a very bitter taste, which I know matcha usually is, but it was a little over powering for the cake. The durian one though, BOMB. You tell they used real durian in it when you open up the container and instantly get hit by the smell lol not a very pleasant smell, if you know, but the flavor was on point!! The texture was very rich and creamy. I thought the durian slice was definitely worth the $9... instead of the matcha one. I'd say definitely give this place a try. I will totally come back to try other milk tea flavors as well as getting the durian mille cake again. read more

Timeless Tea is an underrated boba shop in U-District. For all the cat lovers out there, this is you boba place. Their grass jelly milk tea is so good. My girlfriend is a fan of their four seasons green tea. It is now one of our go to boba shops. The boba has a good chew and their tea has great flavors for any time of the year. They also have a case of assortment desserts. From this case, I have had their taro crepe cake and Oreo snow Mochi. The crepe cake has a perfect level of sweetness along with a nice Taro flavor. The Oreo snow mochi is a little bit on the sweeter side. It is basically a mochi filled with whipped creme and Oreo cracker. The cat theme is strong here and would be such a great place to hang out if it wasn't for covid. We ordered the durian smoothie, honeydew smoothie, and a dog cheesecake. The smoothies were both very good although they are quite pricey for the amount you get. The drinks were smooth, not too sweet, and left a good aftertaste. They came in cute bottles so at least I got to keep them afterwards. Since I'm not in the area that often, I had to try the dog cheesecake. I didn't know what to expect because sometimes a dessert can look so cute but not taste as good. Their cheesecake was good with its slight sweetness and creaminess with each bite. Saw this place as one of the top bubble tea shops in UDistrict, and was delighted to see it wasn't really bubble tea. Further examining the helpful menu photos, I noticed they had the yogurt purple rice drink and I scrambled over there as quickly as I can. SO GOOD. I'm a huge fan of yogurt drinks ever since my discovery in Vancouver, BC and so happy that a place here finally served something similar. Oh and their strawberry drink, you can taste a lot of the fresh strawberries in there. Price is on the little high side for the drink, but the aesthetics and flavor definitely make up for it. Also, had to try their crepe cake, it's also really good. Can't wait to try their other flavors Did I mention? I'm always super hesitant to try new boba spots because nothing is worse than spending $5 on a cup of boba that ends up being just meh, but I'm glad that I tried this one today! On first impression, I was impressed at how big and expansive the interior was. It was decorated well and super spacious with lots of seating. A great hang out spot once COVID passes. The drink menu has lots of milk teas, fruity drinks, smoothies, milk foam as well as some more traditional options like purple rice milk tea. Since it was our first time, we didn't know what to order, but the cashier was super nice and offered us samples of a couple different ones. I thought the Yellow and Four Seasons green tea were both so good and unique, but would pass on the Black milk tea since it was just standard. All the teas were flavorful, strong, and fresh-tasting. The Yellow was super unique since it's not typically a tea you find at boba spots + the Four Seasons green tea was SO good (and I normally don't opt for green teas in my boba since the milk usually overpowers the tea but that wasn't a problem here). I'll have to try this next time, but there have an assortment of cakes.... including a BOBA CAKE. As well as the pug-shaped chocolate mousse, and mille crepe cakes. They also have shaved iced that I saw some people eating. Overall it's definitely a solid milk tea spot and I will be back whenever I'm in UD (it would either be here or Yi Fang depending on the mood). Love how nice the people were, the ample seating, and how it's open LATE. Oh and PARKING!! They are located in a shared plaza with a lot which is a huge PLUS. Only heard of this place through word of mouth and it is ~the~ spot! I have to acknowledge the staff because they let us sample quite a few drinks and this is what I took from it: 1) the classic milk tea was yummy with sweet chocolate tones, 2) the yellow milk tea had more herbal hints and I would recommend this if you want milk tea that's more on the tea side, and 3) the four seasons was my favorite because it was more milky and creamy than herbal. Young Tea in the International District is one of my favorite boba places that I've been to a hundred times because the texture of their boba is absolutely amazing and Timeless Tea came pretty close. It was my first time here so I don't know if I can speak on consistency, but at least when I went, I can confidently say they knew how to boil their tapioca pearls (: We also tried the cheesecake that's molded into a cute wrinkly bulldog and this tasted just like tarty cream cheese. It made me think about tart frozen yogurt (but to clarify, it's not yogurt) and my group loved it. There was only a little bit of cake-bread inside and no graham cracker crust but I assume it had to be mostly cheese in order to capture all the bulldog's features. Then, we spontaneously decided to get a boba cake which I liked better than the cheesecake and it seems like it was really aerated angel food cake covered in salted crema (similar to that of Happy Lemon's rock salt series) with chewy tapioca pearls. Some of us thought it was more salty than sweet but I thought it was more sweet than salty so I guess it just depends on your tastebuds. They have other slices of cakes and more drink flavors so I'll be sure to come back whenever I'm in the area! read more

It's my third time here at Timeless Tea, and I've finally found my favorite drink here! It's the milk foam black tea, similarly made at some other local boba tea shops that makes this foamy milk drink! I'm glad I've got a small because I think the large would have been too much! There's a slight salty taste to the milk foam, and it is not as salty not as thick compared to other milk foam drinks I've tried. My drink had just enough tea taste and a balance of foamy milk on top with plenty of boba inside! YOU HAVE TO SHAKE IT! I didn't know this and was drinking the watered down tea at the bottom for a while before realizing it's much better when mixed. I've tried their regular boba milk tea, coffee milk tea, peach gum, purple rice, and the cute pink boba (red bean inside), and they are ok, not my favorites! I'm pretty basic when it comes to boba milk tea. In short, Timeless Tea is a great boba shop with great menu and convenient location! The branding, interior, and packaging are very cute and on-point. There's something for everyone! I'll definitely explore their other food/snack menu next time and reorder the milk foam black tea. I also tried the charcoal mille crepe cake, and of course the charcoal didn't have much of a taste, the light, fresh cream flavor came through. The sponge cake was stuck to the plastic, so I wasn't able to pull it off whole for the cheese cream to flow down. The base of the box it comes in was definitely not large enough for contain all the cheese cream either, so it was extremely messy. The sponge and cheese cream were light, but overall there wasn't much in terms of flavor besides "lightly sweet". I wouldn't recommend the cake to anyone. I didn't get to try the drinks but I did look at what others were drinking and everything looked good, and the prices on the menu were fair! I would come back to try the drinks. read more

Tried them twice and it was just ok. The first time was a couple years ago and I got a bunny panna cotta which was pretty good but way overpriced. My friend asked for a vegan drink and they just gave him soy milk with red beans in it and it was so nasty. I went a second time a few days ago and got the Oreo snow mochi and it was just raw sticky dough with Oreo pieces and cream inside :( read more

When it comes to boba, I'm a fiend. So I go around trying every boba place I can. I was really excited because I've seen pictures of their drinks and desserts but the people have failed me. Ordered right when they opened so everything was fresh. My cousin and I order the Four Seasons Green Milk tea and classic Black Pearl Milk Tea. First impression, not bad. As I kept sipping it, it just didn't taste right to me. Black Milk Tea 50% no ice w/Boba: Tasted like black mixed with oolong and had a grainy film to it. Boba texture was meh Four Season Green Milk Tea 50% no ice w/Boba: Wasn't your typical floral green milk tea taste (not sure what four seasons means) but very creamy and light tea taste. Not my preference. Each drink came out to be ~$6-7. I might come back to try the desserts, but they do seem to be on the pricier side. read more
