I would say it's just fine now that I've noticed that they've gotten more watered down. I do enjoy that they still use fresh fruit, but would probably only come back if I was invited by a friend. My partner still really likes his usual which is the mango pomelo sago. I think it's one of their best sellers and is a pretty safe order if you don't know what to get. We didn't get any this time, but I do like their mochi. If you've acquired the taste, the durian mochi is solid. Happened to go to Timeless Tea for a thirst quencher. Little did we know of how good this place is. They have plenty of seating. I saw 6 employees between the kitchen and the front desk. They are super friendly and answered all of our questions. Check out their collection of desserts like mochi, egg yolk pastries, crepe cakes, chocolate and cheesecake mousse, as well as bubble milk tea and shaved ice. We ordered the red bean milk tea and it hit the sweet spot. We also got the mango pomello which felt more like a shake with sago, mangoes, pomello in a mango shake. We got it with half the sugar. I am so in love with timeless tea. I am not a big boba tea fan, so I wasn't expecting much when my girlfriend brought me here, but man o man was it turbo yums. Note: Straight straws may be useless on plastic sealed cups. Timeless Tea is located on the edge of University District, and one of the best parts is that there is easy parking! I had their original milk tea (25% sugar, less ice), and it easily ranks at the top for me. I especially liked that their milk tea was not strongly tea or strongly milk. It was just the perfect texture, not too watery but not too creamy. The only con is that their regular straws are not sharp enough to be useful. The interior is well decorated with Chinese artwork and wooden furniture . Colors were light and relaxing, and it's no surprise that hours pass in their comfortable seating arrangements. There are a lot of tea/boba places around this area but this was our favorite. They have their own parking lot which is nice as others are all street parking. They have two locked bathrooms so ask the staff for the code. Their crape cake was really fun and it wasn't overly sweet despite all the layers of cream. Mango Sago is really good if you like mango drinks. It was recommended by a friend who is a local and it definitely was worth it. The taro milk tea on the other hand is the powder type so you get that fake taro flavor and not the real kind so if you don't mind the powdery taro flavor, it is fine. Even with half sweetness it was still pretty sweet. The Cream Cheese Grape drink though, that was surprisingly really good. You can taste the real grapes blended in the drink and the clear popping boba at the bottom was fun. I got the matcha red bean drink, which was good and what I expected it to be. My friend ordered the Purple Rice drink and added popping bobas as a topping. The popping bobas themselves were good, but we didn't realize the drink already had actual rice in it, so the textures just did not work well together at all. Wouldn't fault the restaurant though as we added it on. She lives nearby and said she would back again. The mascot of the cafe is an adorable little cat that's on the packaging. The CUTEST Asian desserts in the U District area! Highly recommend the durian snow mochi (with real durian inside!! but really not stinky!!) Of the cute desserts, I recommend the dog mousse! The white rabbit roll cake is super cute, but also very sweet. The crepe cakes are delicious, but average for a crepe cake. Their drinks are average compared to the selection nearby. The rabbit coconut jelly is... not good. You order at one of two touch screens, which can take some time if people take a while to order. We went just before 1pm on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy, but quickly filled up by the time we were leaving. In honor of the festival, we ordered the Blossom Berry Milk Tea which had cherry blossom syrup combined with fresh strawberry. This place definitely is Instagram worthy as their desserts look amazing. The taste however in my opinion is just OK. It's a little underwhelming when compared to how they look. I have tried both of the puppy desserts, boba cake, taro cake, fruit cakes, tiramisu. I think my favorite out of all of them was the fruit cake. My least favorite was definitely the taro cake.. just seemed to be a little. Thick and have too much taro in my opinion. Seemed to be more hearty than a light dessert that I usually think of Asian cakes to be. They're 30% sweetness is actually successfully not sweet!! One of my most boba place to hangout. Wide open space and semi clean. And they close late!! 11pm daily that we don't need to be rushed if we want to hang with friends longer. I love their plum gum milk tea which I also highly recommend since the plum gum supposedly has plenty of collagen which is good for your skin and I asked for less sweet and they made it perfectly! They always serve me the best thai milk tea in seattle and have some of the best desserts both cute and delicious. The purple Rice Milk Tea had actual rice grains in the drink and was a very nice texture mix. The Super Deluxe Fruit Tea was worth the price, it came with a variety of fruit and was very refreshing. You can reuse the bucket as well and it has a plastic handle for accessibility. The Strawberry Snow Ice was splendid. The pretzel surprisingly added a nice balance from sweet to salty. The strawberries had an amazing sweet flavor and was very nice with the snow ice. They had a cake bar where you could essentially choose your own cake flavors and toppings. Not every item here is great, but there's a lot of variety and the store is spacious. I've been here quite a few times over the past couple years, so I'll rate the items I've tried, mostly desserts. I'm giving a 5 star for variety and ambiance. Mango boba cake - 5/5 It's a large cup full of cake, cream, and mango. You can't go wrong! Snow ice - 5/5 I've tried the mango and matcha flavors. It's a bowl of shaved ice with cubes of ice cream, whipped cream, and toppings on top. There's also red bean and mango pudding on the side. The matcha ice was matcha flavored all the way through. I'd recommend bringing a friend and trying this! Milk tea with boba - 4/5 It's your average boba tea. I don't like fruit teas, so this is the only drink I've gotten here. Mango mousse cake - 3/5 You scoop it out of a little plastic box. Pretty good, not amazing Souffle cheese cake - 3/5 If you've had souffle cheesecake before, you know what this tastes like. It's a slice of that with a layer of some kind of cheesy cream. Not bad Cream taro mochi cake - 3/5 As the name suggests, it's a cake with a layer of mochi and cream. The mochi felt strange to me in a cake, which I didn't love. The cream and cake were pretty good though Basque cheesecake - 2.5/5 I got the normal flavor. It's a bit bigger than my palm but came in a huge gift box. There were a couple fruits on top, not that fresh, and a very soft Lotus biscuit. The cake itself is light, creamy, and a bit gloopy in the middle. The top is covered in cream, so it's not burnt like other basque cheesecakes. That was slightly disappointing Mango snow mochi - 2/5 To be honest, I think the mochi flavor overpowers the refreshing cream. You can buy it to try it, but I don't love it enough to try again Strawberry souffle pancake - 2/5 They warned me it would take a long time, and it did indeed take 50 minutes to make. The pancakes were fluffy, about twice as thick as a normal pancake, and came with cream and dried strawberries. Not really worth the time spent unless you just want to try it. I would recommend a different flavor than strawberry, since I didn't expect it to be dried. In conclusion, stick to the parts of the menu you enjoy, and you'll be satisfied. There's lots of tables to sit at and the place is open til late. read more

Waited till 6:10, after they said it would only take 5 minutes after ordering in person (calling ahead made no difference), only to be told that the machine broke and wasn't informed what so ever. It's rare to see a place in Seattle open past 10 pm, and with timeless tea being the only place open, we decided to lime scooter over and check it out. We truly did not regret our decision. The doggo cheesecake is absolutely adorable!! Now is it worth 8 dollars because you can eat in 4 bites, no, but is it picture adorable, absolutely. It was quite soft and flavorful, just not worth the price. Personally did not regret buying once for the picture. We also ordered a mango bingsoo, and to be honest this was one of my favorite bingsoo experiences. The shaved ice contrasted really welll to the mango cubes. They provide extra mango drizzle for when your halfway through the bingsoo and need to add more mango to your dish. The red bean side was a bit odd but it also tasted fine. This dinner/boba shop is a bit pricey but there are plenty of seats. There is also wifi if you need to work. There are also a few adorable plushies inside adding to the decor of this place. The only real issue was that it took about 20 mins for our bingsoo to come out. But that's a very minor dent in our experience. There are iPads for you to order, but you can speak to service representatives if you have further questions. There are quite a few desserts here I may find myself coming back to try should I find myself in Seattle again. Wonderful drinks. Boba not as wonderful - it's chewy but can sometimes be firmer on the inside and lacks flavor. Generally, it's inconsistent from visit to visit. Sometimes I hope it gets better and try it, but it always disappoints. Drinks themselves are great though, without toppings or with safer toppings like grass jelly. Timeless is great for both fruit teas and milk teas - I think their tea in general is very strong and present. Dragon Fruit Smoothie - the best dragon fruit drink I have ever had. The dragon fruit taste is actually there and not faint. The consistency is much like a smoothie or milkshake and sweet. Only sad thing is the price point for such a small cup, but hey, it's a reusable cup for my collection. Watermelon Fruit Tea - I wasn't sure how I felt about this one. Lots of reviews love it but I didn't feel so strong. Definitely fresh watermelon but there is a sour taste combined with the fruit and green tea, I believe it is. Grass Jelly Milk Tea - I love their milk tea as it's a perfect balance between creaminess and tea flavor. Grass jelly is impossible to get wrong so it's a perfect topping here as I mentioned the boba isn't the best. Milk Tea with Boba - same thoughts as above. Again, boba is probably one of my least favorites around the U-District. They have wonderful (and cute) desserts as well. They're always consistent and a great treat or surprise gift. Chocolate Crepe Cake - a fair crepe cake. Solid, creamy, and chocolatey goodness. Cocoa powder layer on top was a bit inconsistently spread and minimalistic but pretty irrelevant to the experience. Looks to be more for aesthetics. Rabbit Coconut Panna Cotta - not surprising, a strong coconut flavor with gelatin like texture because it is a panna cotta (sweet cream gelatin). Tiramisu Cake - super creamy, loved it! The mascarpone cheese and nougat were the stars of the show, adding the sweetest cream. read more

My friends recommended this place and I was excited to try out one of their fruit teas and the famous chocolate bull dog mousse! I was a little sad they didn't have alternative milk options but also relieved they had fruit tea options so I ordered the crystal bubble pomegranate tea. It kind of tasted like yakult and the crystal or clear boba was chewy in a good way :) The cup was cute too and had to cute empress cat. I was told that the poem on the wall explains the story of the empress cat who was fat, lazy and beautiful lol. It seems that the ingredients at the store live up to the expectations of the empress cat since the cat can only get the finest things lol. I found that poem to be amusing and you can see the poem on one of their walls. They also have a section to take pictures and I really liked that! My friends ordered regular milk tea, the peach gum white fungus fruit tea (herbal and more on the healthy side), and the chocolate bull dog mousse.
