What a great idea this is! I went tonight with some friends from work and had the best time. You pick your meals ahead of time and they have it all ready to go for you. I mean really ready! You go in stations and they have all Your spices laid out for you with an instruction card on how to assemble each meal. The workers are so helpful! (Especially for someone like me who isn't the most skilled person in the kitchen!). I can't wait to go back and do it again. The menu changes monthly. The meals are divided into two containers but if you want smaller portions you could use smaller ones. For example I got the Gouda burgers. It supposed to make 6 burgers but I made mine a little smaller and got 8 burgers. You just throw it all in the freezer and defrost in the fridge when you're ready. Great for busy families! Loved it!

Do you have days where you just don't have it in you to cook? But you don't want to get takeout from a restaurant? Enter Time For Dinner! A woman-owned business that makes your life easier. I stopped by, got the Parmesan encrusted chicken, and popped it in the freezer. Couple days later I was feeling sick and didn't even feel like driving for takeout...I had this lovely dinner (which is not your average frozen grocery store meal they make things fresh) that only took 30 minutes in the oven. Loved it!! Their menu rotates monthly. Let's just say... I WILL BE BACK

What a cool experience for me. Sadly, i never knew some place like this existed.... I had the chance to meet Amy. She stated they have been around for 20 (!!) years! I told her this came at a really great time for our family as I have been looking into a meal prep kind of dealio (like hello fresh, blue apron, etc). I really like the idea of prepping my own meals, taking them home in freezer friendly containers and cooking them whenever we want. My daughter would love participating, and the fun thing is that she can tag along and help! The recipes look easy to follow and EVERYTHING is prepped for you to assemble. I feel this would save a lot of time and potentially money (if i can plan this right). I waited until I was able to try the chicken parm entree, and it was delicious!!! I am telling all my friends about this!

Beyond my expectations!! As soon as I stepped in I automatically felt welcome with the staff and atmosphere. It felt as if I was stepping onto a cooking show, as some of the staff were setting up for their next cooking demonstrations for the customers. I love this concept of providing meal prep and cooking demonstrations with the customers AND using fresh ingredients, definite plus!

My wife and I have done a number of classes at Kitchen Conservatory. All of them follow the same…read moregeneral pattern. The class will have a handful of different courses, and participants are each assigned to prep one dish. At the end of the night the dishes are all pulled together and everyone eats a meal together. We have taken pizza throwing, a couple pasta making, a Great British Bake Off, and a "Low Country" seafood class. We have enjoyed all of them. A couple things to note. The quality of the classes can be hit or miss based upon the person organizing. Some have been absolutely fantastic, and others are just okay. No matter what I've still enjoyed myself. The classes are expensive, there is no way around that. However, for all of the classes you end up with a good meal and then some alcoholic beverage (mixed drinks or wine). So I view the $120-$160 per couple cost as the equivalent of a nice dinner, along with some entertainment and a fun activity. Some additional notes. The new facility on Manchester is just beautiful. It is a huge step up from the spot in Clayton. They also have a great selection of high end cooking/baking accessories that I highly recommend. I have a pie pan I got after one class that is one of my all time favorites.

Wrong. There were two simultaneous pasta classes going. Our group seemed to have no clear direction. There were two pasta rollers and each kept malfunctioning with the handles falling off. It was at this point one couple left. It only went downhill from there. My sister kept saying we should just leave but I wanted to learn how to make pasta! And I paid a lot for this class so i was going to learn! But I did not. The revolt began and people just began cooking on their own (which in the end turned out quite well!!) just so we could eat at some point. We could hear the other class drinking wine and sitting down to eat, and our lasagna wasn't even in the oven yet. Another ominous sign. Our chef was very kind but it was clear he was not ready for this. It was my second and last visit to the KC, I walked away with no additional skills. Waste of 3.5 hours (though the class was scheduled for only 2.5) and 65 bucks.

I was really blown away by the food here - such great BBQ!…read more I had the Brisket plate with Creamed Corn, Popover and Beef Fat Fries - it was such a great meal! The brisket was tender and juicy and had some great flavor...I enjoyed the different sauces one could choose from. The corn was a nice balance of savory and sweet. The popover had some nice texture and I love that it was buttery and served warm. The fries were great - very rich with flavor from the beef fat. My experience here was great: friendly service and very good food. This is located in a lively area with other restaurants and stores.

Salt & Pepper is definitely an establishment worth visiting for dining and enjoying. My buddy and I sat on the bar where we were able to get a great view of the bar with all of the various selections of whiskey. Recommended dining selection? BBQ meat - we both ordered the three meat special and ensured we ordered different selections so we can try the various selections. Pass on the BBQ bologna - it's okay, nothing spectacular compared to the other meat selection. The brisket chili is well flavored and filling. The best part of the place? In addition to the great BBQ, it boasts of local brews and an awesome selection of whiskey - one not easily found is Weller and it was at a very affordable price point. Located across the street from a landmark, Bluedberry Hill, parking is available next door in the public parking. Not quite an easy drive of the other BBQ establishments closer to downtown, Salt & Pepper is nonetheless as good, and because of the well stocked bar, I would give it a slight edge to them.

The cashier gave us a quick tour of the different sections of the refrigerators. Each section is broken down by protein, bulk food, snacks, desserts, or pre-orders with easy to read labels and pictures of each meal. Then she pointed out all the important symbols and things to note on the labels. The macros are easy to find on the front of the packaging and the heating instructions are clearly marked. She let us know that everything is fresh, never frozen. She also warned us not to overheat the meals as to avoid overly dry or chewy proteins. We grabbed the menu listing the new summer flavors before we left so we can get ideas on what to order next time. There was zero pressure to order in advance. Many people were walking in to pick items off the shelf just like us. The first meals we tried at home were the Steak & Garlic Potatoes, Orange Sesame Chicken, and Tropical Cake for dessert.
