Stopped here for lunch over a weekend with a friend. Very cool place, with lots of local food. We even got to do a wine tasting with some Italian wine. For lunch they have a deli with sandwiches. I ordered the hot mortadella sandwich without pickles. I got a combo with a drink and chips. Food came out quickly and was tasty. We got to eat in a connected event space, which was spacious and had plenty of seating. Service was quick and friendly! This is a great place to stop by for a quick meal or some local stl stuff! We love Parker's Table!! Many times we will stop in to purchase cheese from their case, or sometimes to browse the wines. Most recently was in to purchase baskets for Christmas gifts. I lived in St. Louis for many years and this was my favorite wine store. Just the right balance between plenty of options and a curated lineup -- that is, he doesn't stock as many single-malts, California cabernets, NZ sav blancs, etc. as some stores (like the Wine & Cheese Place in Clayton) but there is still a good inventory of dependably well chosen bottles. VERY helpful sales staff (unlike, say Starr's). Smallish but wonderful foods section, and a great sandwich counter in the back. read more

I don't get out for a lunch a lot but today I had to run an errand in Richmond Heights and said today is the day I'm going to Parker's Table. I hadn't been in here in years. Went to the back for a sandwich and today's special was Italian Beef with smoked chuck roast, spicy giardiniera, and provolone. That's right up my alley! When I got back to work it was still warm. I loved the smoked chuck, the toast on the ciabatta and the acid/spice of the giardiniera. It was a really delicious sandwich. I could have nixed the provolone but that's just personal preference. Everyone was friendly and I loved the selection in store of grab and go food and beverages. I'll be back sooner rather than later. read more

Easy to part with your dollars here! Lots of things to choose from beyond wine and spirits. I filled a basket! Staff, there were quite a few people to help you, I was greeted on entry and directed to the wine tasting area where the tasting was over but still some samples left to enjoy. I tried a red that I enjoyed but failed to note the name. They checked in from time to time and then also helped when I couldn't reach something on a shelf. Super friendly. It has been a while since I had been in the shop but after listening to the Arch Eats podcasts and being reminded of what great items they have, I decided I needed to return, I just wandered up and down the aisles looking at everything. At one point I thought I heard the voice of George Mahe from Arch Eats but never saw him. I thought that would have been interesting since the Podcast mentioning Parker's Table is what brought me in. I had already eaten so I didn't spend much time looking at the lunch options in the deli but will definitely be interested during lunch hours. What a fun find after a trip to the Zoo. Delicious sandwiches that the kids and adults enjoyed. A cute market with lots of beverages and other local and international snack and drinks. They did kids' versions of the sandwiches, which made a nice option for our younger kids. They even have a "secret" playroom for kids while the adults walk around. This is one of my favorite places to order lunch and take to a local park (although they do have lovely indoor seating). Their freshly made sandwiches come with a choice of drink and chip, with quite the variety of selections. I love their hot vinegar chips with the sparkling mojito NA drink. While I wait for my sandwich, I admire all the tasty delicacies scattered throughout the shop; from made in house potato salad and sides, to noodles, to coffee, to candy and beer, this is the place to shop for gifts or to get yourself a quality treat. My brother and I have been eyeing this spot for awhile and finally got the chance to stop in. WHAT TOOK US SO LONG?! We went on a Saturday for lunch - they have a whole room nextdoor that is SO cute, perfect for a party! They leave it open to sit and enjoy your meal, which is awesome. We both got the Turkey sandwich and OMG. Fresh perfect, perfect flavors married. I got my fiancé the brisket sandwich and he thought it was awesome. At first I thought the price was steep but fair for a spot like this UNTIL THEY LET US GRAB A BAG OF GOURMET CHIPS AND FANCY DRINK. So worth it. Then you have the cheese selection HOLY MOLY. I mean wow. Is this the best cheese selection in the area? Maybe. We couldn't leave without joining their cheese club. They even had some good wine tastings on the day we went in, which they cycled through with a couple different options. They had amazing wine options, something for everyone. Tons of cool additions for cheese boards. Fresh pasta. And a really great liquor selection. And every single interaction we had was amazing. Idk how everyone is so happy but they are. How have I not reviewed a place I've visited so many times? One of these days, I'll walk in and hear NORM! The first time I visited was just earlier this spring. I wanted wine from the Campania region of Italy and they had a few, which pleased me. Campania has plenty of vineyards, but American stores don't always have many (or any). I was given a FREE baguette that turned out to be delicious and I was informed that their weekly wine tastings would be resuming the following Saturday. Well, I've been there maybe half of the Saturdays since then. I've bought some cheese and bread, some liquor and a bottle of wine most weeks. I've learned so much from the reps who come in and talk about the wines. The shop staff is informed and friendly. The only names I know so far I just learned today -- Kim and Hale -- and I'll have to learn other people's names soon. Parker's Table does events every now and then. My friends and I went to a rose tasting a few weeks ago. Just today I learned that you can use their event space for eating sandwiches purchased at the sandwich shop in the back. This capped off a happy morning for my mother and me today. (That sandwich shop in the back is a separate operation, so I'll save that for a review of that business.) read more

It's hard to leave Parker's Table without spending a hundred bucks on wine and cheese, but they do have phenomenal sandwiches meals (comes with chips and drink) for $8-15 which I tried for the first time today. Incredible sandwiches that match Union Loafers' quality, although a smaller size. The speck was sooo good with that preserved lemon. Their natural wine selection (and really anything you'd want from spirits and beer) is also really good. I picked up bottles from Subject to Change and Broc Cellars today and stopped myself from buying more. I also love the cheese selection and usually let them help me choose. Friendly staff, great selection, and an amazing market atmosphere. This place is bigger on the inside!

It was my very first time going to this place, and it definitely will not be the last. This enchanting little store was filled to the brim with good wines, quality meats, good bread, and assortment of cheeses from around the world. Granted, they don't have as many cheeses as I would hope for anywhere to have, but it's still impressive. There is even a small room for children to play in, while the adults wander around the store, taking in the atmosphere, and shop to their hearts' content. The staff here was splendid, and beyond helpful and kind. I will be back again within the week. read more

Time for an update! I am such a huge fan and have been coming here for years for a variety of reasons, but mainly for... a lot of wine. John Parker and his team are truly remarkable and work so hard to create an enjoyable shopping experience. I can't tell you how many times someone has handed me a glass of wine to enjoy while I look around at all of the wine, cheese, snacks, and other goods. If you're anything like me, you're going to need to grab a cart at the front so you can stock up on everything that catches your eye. If you're having a party at home, this is your one-stop-shop. They have everything from fine wines, to chocolates, to amazing cheeses, to bloody mary mixers. You can grab sandwiches here for lunch. They also host special events - I had my team here once for a wine and cheese pairing party. During COVID-19, you can still get your wine fix. Just give them a call, tell them what you'd like, pay over the phone, and they'll throw it in your trunk. I'm so glad I can still patronize Parker's Table during this time! We'll be customers as long as they're open (which I hope is forever.) read more

Our charity had an event here, and it was wonderful! The wine tasting had very generous pours, and the food that we ordered was fantastic as well. The curried vegetables with this delicious sauce was my favorite. There was a DJ, and a very nice table set up for all of us to gather and mingle and get to know each other. I came tonight for a continuing education event in the back of the store--this is such a cozy event space and the food never disappoints! I haven't bought anything from the specialty food/wine section but it looks fun to walk through and browse. My favorite part of the meal was the salad, which had a light zesty citrus-y dressing that was drizzled/tossed perfectly with cheese, onion, and spring mix. The entree we had last week was good, but I was having too much heartburn to fully enjoy it this time...chicken breast topped with tomato, green beans, and the most delicious roasted potatoes. Dessert definitely hit the spot for me--panna cotta garnished with a dollop of whipped cream. It was creamy, not too sweet, and light and airy. Oh so good. I'll be back again! read more

This place has amazing products, the kindest workers and a delicious deli in back. I've gotten two of their sandwiches, which are rich in flavor. The sandwiches are served from 11-2 and come with fancy chips and a tasty drink of your choice from a well stocked fridge. It's a great deal. Today I picked up a cheese & meat plate for 15$. The gentleman who told me about it the other day said the selection varies. It was a really fun buy for a Friday night. We came during Covid-19, and they had a great social distance arrangement (it was summer) where you walk up to a kiosk they had set-up outside, and placed your order from there. They have many products pushed up to the window so you can see them, as well as a whiteboard menu outside with other options. I'm sold! Parker's Table is a great place to go for wine, especially if you know nothing about wine. My fiance and I wandered in on Saturday morning while walking the business district of Clayton. I've recently taken to drinking red wine for it's medicinal purposes, but know nothing about it. The lady working there quickly greeted us and was so happy to help us. She asked me what sort of taste I like in wine, and went from there with more questions before recommending a few wines. She then let us sample two wines [they have two you can sample on Saturdays], and we ended up buying both! I had always been too intimidated to go into a wine shop, but was made to feel at ease at Parker's. Not only that, but the wines she showed me weren't exorbitant in price. They have pricey wines, but they don't push them on you. They tailor their suggestions based on your tastes.
