I really need to shop in the store, but I also think I want to buy everything. This review is for the sandwiches and, despite a small menu, the sandwiches are SO good. You can order online and pick up once you arrive - you also get chips and a drink of your choice. They also always seem really happy that you've ordered from them so that's nice. Will be back here again for sandwiches and more. read more

First off- they do lunch here from 11-2 most days and it is outstanding and fresh. Do yourself a favor and pop in for a sandwich! This place is amazing. So cool. And such great service!! They have experts on everything you could ever need - wine, cured meats, preserves, pasta, and more!!! They have everything. Like I walked in asking about Gjetost (a Norwegian cheese) and they had it. They also have an incredible cheese monger by the way who I didn't get his name but he was really kind and knowledgeable. Cute decor too, very kind of rustic and homey. Reminded me of my time in Italy. Oh and they make fresh bread!!!! I've been looking for a cute little market like this so I can shop local and this place is just fantastic. Had a pretty incredible turkey sandwich too - I added speck to mine! Sandwiches all come with chips + a soda too. read more

Stopped here for lunch over a weekend with a friend. Very cool place, with lots of local food. We even got to do a wine tasting with some Italian wine. For lunch they have a deli with sandwiches. I ordered the hot mortadella sandwich without pickles. I got a combo with a drink and chips. Food came out quickly and was tasty. We got to eat in a connected event space, which was spacious and had plenty of seating. Service was quick and friendly! This is a great place to stop by for a quick meal or some local stl stuff! I will def go again. read more

Parker's Table - Smoked Turkey Sandwich at Forest Park! - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Saint Louis, Missouri

We recently had our engagement party at Parker's Table after our original plans fell through. Danielle made booking, planning, and executing this event a breeze! I felt she understood what we wanted and ran with it. I had a few personal touches I wanted to add which they accommodated flawlessly! We had about 40 guests and they raved about the food, wine, atmosphere and how nice the staff was! We would absolutely recommend Parker's Table to anyone needing a private event! (And now I frequent their events as well - what a find!) read more

We love Parker's Table!! Many times we will stop in to purchase cheese from their case, or sometimes to browse the wines. Most recently was in to purchase baskets for Christmas gifts. They did a great job with the baskets and even helped me load them into my car. Highly recommend if you are looking for great cheese, wine or specialty foods!! read more

I don't get out for a lunch a lot but today I had to run an errand in Richmond Heights and said today is the day I'm going to Parker's Table. I hadn't been in here in years. Went to the back for a sandwich and today's special was Italian Beef with smoked chuck roast, spicy giardiniera, and provolone. That's right up my alley! When I got back to work it was still warm. I loved the smoked chuck, the toast on the ciabatta and the acid/spice of the giardiniera. It was a really delicious sandwich. I could have nixed the provolone but that's just personal preference. Everyone was friendly and I loved the selection in store of grab and go food and beverages. I'll be back sooner rather than later. read more

Easy to part with your dollars here! Lots of things to choose from beyond wine and spirits. I filled a basket! Staff, there were quite a few people to help you, I was greeted on entry and directed to the wine tasting area where the tasting was over but still some samples left to enjoy. I tried a red that I enjoyed but failed to note the name. They checked in from time to time and then also helped when I couldn't reach something on a shelf. Super friendly. It has been a while since I had been in the shop but after listening to the Arch Eats podcasts and being reminded of what great items they have, I decided I needed to return, I just wandered up and down the aisles looking at everything. At one point I thought I heard the voice of George Mahe from Arch Eats but never saw him. I thought that would have been interesting since the Podcast mentioning Parker's Table is what brought me in. I had already eaten so I didn't spend much time looking at the lunch options in the deli but will definitely be interested during lunch hours. Candy, pasta, sauces, beer, spirits, wine, condiments, tinned fish, the list goes on and on. a fun place to browse and buy. read more

I lived in St. Louis for many years and this was my favorite wine store. Just the right balance between plenty of options and a curated lineup -- that is, he doesn't stock as many single-malts, California cabernets, NZ sav blancs, etc. as some stores (like the Wine & Cheese Place in Clayton) but there is still a good inventory of dependably well chosen bottles. VERY helpful sales staff (unlike, say Starr's). Smallish but wonderful foods section, and a great sandwich counter in the back. read more

Great neighborhood wine shop with lots more than wine. Get there before 2 for sandwiches. We missed it by 4 minutes and they gave us a free loaf of bread! Merci beaucoup! Picked up some salad and cheese and voila, lunch! Lots of wine and food items. This place is a read more

Parker's Table is of course an excellent neighborhood haunt for a delicious lunch, a huge wine selection, gourmet food items, gifts, and more but today for the first time I had the Saturday biscuits. Good Lord, this was the best biscuit I've ever had in my life. $5 gets you an oversized biscuit and a nice portion of whipped butter and jam. See you every Saturday forever now, guys. read more

What a fun find after a trip to the Zoo. Delicious sandwiches that the kids and adults enjoyed. A cute market with lots of beverages and other local and international snack and drinks. They did kids' versions of the sandwiches, which made a nice option for our younger kids. They even have a "secret" playroom for kids while the adults walk around. Lots of table seating next door. read more

7 years since I found this spot, and can confirm that nothing has changed in the best way - they've enhanced their offerings further as their business has expanded. The sandwiches are phenomenal, all served on their house made bread with house smoked meats. The wine & beer selection is unique, varied, and accessible to all. They have a variety of NA options and spirits as well. The staff goes above and beyond to help you find whatever you may need. And the cozy atmosphere makes you feel like you're at home. Will continue to shop here for years to come. read more

This is one of my favorite places to order lunch and take to a local park (although they do have lovely indoor seating). Their freshly made sandwiches come with a choice of drink and chip, with quite the variety of selections. I love their hot vinegar chips with the sparkling mojito NA drink. While I wait for my sandwich, I admire all the tasty delicacies scattered throughout the shop; from made in house potato salad and sides, to noodles, to coffee, to candy and beer, this is the place to shop for gifts or to get yourself a quality treat. The staff and owner are always friendly and welcoming, offering their insights on all their goods. There's even a charming little record corner complete with a train set and toys for kids. I love this place. Go check it out! read more

Might this be the best store of all time?? Love the deli in the back. Love the Saturday wine tastings. Love their offering of fresh baguettes and other goodies. And a great selection of wine and spirits! Just a very nice, cozy place with nice people. If I lived in STL I would be there every week. read more

My brother and I have been eyeing this spot for awhile and finally got the chance to stop in. WHAT TOOK US SO LONG?! We went on a Saturday for lunch - they have a whole room nextdoor that is SO cute, perfect for a party! They leave it open to sit and enjoy your meal, which is awesome. We both got the Turkey sandwich and OMG. Fresh perfect, perfect flavors married. I got my fiancé the brisket sandwich and he thought it was awesome. At first I thought the price was steep but fair for a spot like this UNTIL THEY LET US GRAB A BAG OF GOURMET CHIPS AND FANCY DRINK. So worth it. Then you have the cheese selection HOLY MOLY. I mean wow. Is this the best cheese selection in the area? Maybe. We couldn't leave without joining their cheese club. They even had some good wine tastings on the day we went in, which they cycled through with a couple different options. They had amazing wine options, something for everyone. Tons of cool additions for cheese boards. Fresh pasta. And a really great liquor selection. And every single interaction we had was amazing. Idk how everyone is so happy but they are. It will be such a treat on my monthly stop in for cheese!! read more

Love this place so much. They have everything you'd need for a nice picnic or you can grab a sandwich at their deli and eat in their event space, which is so charming. The muffuletta was most excellent! Oh, and they have amazing wine tastings happen pretty much every week. read more

A new find for me and I loved it. Had a freshly baked scone that was heavenly - and I speak with some authority.

How have I not reviewed a place I've visited so many times? One of these days, I'll walk in and hear NORM! The first time I visited was just earlier this spring. I wanted wine from the Campania region of Italy and they had a few, which pleased me. Campania has plenty of vineyards, but American stores don't always have many (or any). I was given a FREE baguette that turned out to be delicious and I was informed that their weekly wine tastings would be resuming the following Saturday. Well, I've been there maybe half of the Saturdays since then. I've bought some cheese and bread, some liquor and a bottle of wine most weeks. I've learned so much from the reps who come in and talk about the wines. The shop staff is informed and friendly. The only names I know so far I just learned today -- Kim and Hale -- and I'll have to learn other people's names soon. Parker's Table does events every now and then. My friends and I went to a rose tasting a few weeks ago. Just today I learned that you can use their event space for eating sandwiches purchased at the sandwich shop in the back. This capped off a happy morning for my mother and me today. (That sandwich shop in the back is a separate operation, so I'll save that for a review of that business.) read more

This place is a neighborhood gem! Not only does it have a great selection of wine, bourbons, etc it also has great gifts. Items made and grown by locals... like Ozark Forest Mushrooms!! Also a great place to grab a wonderful sandwich or pick out your cheeses to go with that wonderful wine. Watch for special events. Always a great experience! read more

It's hard to leave Parker's Table without spending a hundred bucks on wine and cheese, but they do have phenomenal sandwiches meals (comes with chips and drink) for $8-15 which I tried for the first time today. Incredible sandwiches that match Union Loafers' quality, although a smaller size. The speck was sooo good with that preserved lemon. Their natural wine selection (and really anything you'd want from spirits and beer) is also really good. I picked up bottles from Subject to Change and Broc Cellars today and stopped myself from buying more. I also love the cheese selection and usually let them help me choose. Great customer service. read more

Time for an update! I am such a huge fan and have been coming here for years for a variety of reasons, but mainly for... a lot of wine. John Parker and his team are truly remarkable and work so hard to create an enjoyable shopping experience. I can't tell you how many times someone has handed me a glass of wine to enjoy while I look around at all of the wine, cheese, snacks, and other goods. If you're anything like me, you're going to need to grab a cart at the front so you can stock up on everything that catches your eye. If you're having a party at home, this is your one-stop-shop. They have everything from fine wines, to chocolates, to amazing cheeses, to bloody mary mixers. You can grab sandwiches here for lunch. They also host special events - I had my team here once for a wine and cheese pairing party. During COVID-19, you can still get your wine fix. Just give them a call, tell them what you'd like, pay over the phone, and they'll throw it in your trunk. I'm so glad I can still patronize Parker's Table during this time! We'll be customers as long as they're open (which I hope is forever.) read more

Our charity had an event here, and it was wonderful! The wine tasting had very generous pours, and the food that we ordered was fantastic as well. The curried vegetables with this delicious sauce was my favorite. There was a DJ, and a very nice table set up for all of us to gather and mingle and get to know each other. The staff was great, and the entire experience was fun and inviting. Definitely coming back here! read more

Friendly staff, great selection, and an amazing market atmosphere. This place is bigger on the inside!

It was my very first time going to this place, and it definitely will not be the last. This enchanting little store was filled to the brim with good wines, quality meats, good bread, and assortment of cheeses from around the world. Granted, they don't have as many cheeses as I would hope for anywhere to have, but it's still impressive. There is even a small room for children to play in, while the adults wander around the store, taking in the atmosphere, and shop to their hearts' content. The staff here was splendid, and beyond helpful and kind. I will be back again within the week. read more

This is such a great store to have nearby, they have a great selection of wines, beers and spirits. Plus good options on cheeses and meats, also great sandwiches. Plus the store itself is pretty cool... All that is great but the best part of this store is the exceptional service you always get here, everyone has been super helpful and not pushy at all (unless they really think something is good and you will probably thank them later). read more

I came tonight for a continuing education event in the back of the store--this is such a cozy event space and the food never disappoints! I haven't bought anything from the specialty food/wine section but it looks fun to walk through and browse. My favorite part of the meal was the salad, which had a light zesty citrus-y dressing that was drizzled/tossed perfectly with cheese, onion, and spring mix. The entree we had last week was good, but I was having too much heartburn to fully enjoy it this time...chicken breast topped with tomato, green beans, and the most delicious roasted potatoes. Dessert definitely hit the spot for me--panna cotta garnished with a dollop of whipped cream. It was creamy, not too sweet, and light and airy. Oh so good. I'll be back again! read more

Update: still a great place but they have tables next door for eating your delicious sandwiches. Customer service is excellent!

A great place to browse, shop, eat and drink. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the ambience and decor are terrific. They have a fabulous selection and assortment of fine foods, cheese, deli meets, fresh breads, wine, spirits and their sandwichs are amazing. My only regret about Parker's Table is it's not located in my hometown in Southern California. If it were I'd be a regular customer. Every time I come to St. Louis I plan my visit to include Parker's Table. I've been here several times and every time it's fun, fresh and new. read more

One of the best places to pick up wine and delicious snacks. The friendly and knowledgeable service takes it from great to truly special.

This place has amazing products, the kindest workers and a delicious deli in back. I've gotten two of their sandwiches, which are rich in flavor. The sandwiches are served from 11-2 and come with fancy chips and a tasty drink of your choice from a well stocked fridge. It's a great deal. Today I picked up a cheese & meat plate for 15$. The gentleman who told me about it the other day said the selection varies. It was a really fun buy for a Friday night. If you decide to eat in they have a cooler full of chilled drinks and wines. read more

Parker's Table is a gem! Love to go here for wine. We came during Covid-19, and they had a great social distance arrangement (it was summer) where you walk up to a kiosk they had set-up outside, and placed your order from there. They have many products pushed up to the window so you can see them, as well as a whiteboard menu outside with other options. The staff were also very knowledgeable, so we just told them what we liked and they offered two suggestions. We ended up loving both! read more
