John's food wasn't any better- he ate all of it and suffered the consequences of junk food a few hours later. The coffee was fine- best part of the visit. There was a line and the service was slow for what it was. Tables in the dining room needed to be cleaned, I had to wipe down a table for us to sit at. Basically it's like a locals Dunkin Donuts. The hope for this place exceeds the value and quality of what you get. They do have a more extensive food menu then Dunkin, but the drink options are a bit lacking. I got a sugar free hazelnut ice latte and a honey French curler (had to try one of their "famous" donuts, that's what they're known for)! The latte was average. The espresso and milk were fine. The flavoring was so-so. It taste more like artificial sweetener than hazelnut. I have unfortunately had worse. The donut was pretty good! Not overly sweet. It had a nice honey flavor. The dough was soft enough. The thing I was most excited for was the $1 pack of Buffalo Sabres trading cards I got for buying a drink. They sure have a lot of home town pride here! One of my favorite coffee shop to go when I'm around the Canada area. There Ice Cap is the best, I would normally get a large side for my Ice Cap. Because it is so addicting. They do sell other bakery item and warm food as well. Like breakfast sandwich, hash brown, donut, cookie, and etc. In my opinion, Tim Hortons is way better than Starbucks and cheaper. Solid timmy ho. The store is at the end of a plaza so you drive around the whole plaza to go through the drive thru. Great staff! The drive thru was moving at a really fast pace, even in crazy rush hour during an ice storm. My special order was done fast and accurately. Got there maybe an hour before closing. Two members on staff. Neither said one word to me during the entire visit. They didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Were rather rude tbh. When a patron says hello and is ignored. When paying and staff doesn't tell the patron the price and doesn't give them a receipt. Then when the patron thanks the staff and is ignored once again. I imagine the two of them had some wager going on to see if they can get through a customer without saying a single word. It was just weird and very rude. Those two should be immediately terminated. They don't belong in the service industry. The chicken wrap I got tasted ok, though wasn't hot enough. The place was absolutely empty of customers yet there were several tables with trash on it that weren't cleaned off. read more

Genesee across from airport location. My friend Jenny hates Tim Hortons. I often bring her to this location and try and convince her that the coffee is delicious, but no matter how I try, I cannot make Jenny See what I see. Get it? Jenny See? Tim Horton's is Canadian, and this location is right across from the airport, so as you would expect, it is full of Germans. What do you mean that didn't make sense? I usually get a 4 & 4 which means it's basically sugar & cream with a little coffee in there. It's not for me, it's my friend that likes it that way, but I usually slurp down at least one third of the cup before delivering it to her and I have to say it's the most delicious, mild, smooth coffee I've had. Probably because I don't know coffee and I don't like coffee and this version tastes more like a hot milkshake. Excellent location that is usually very consistent. So anyway, this location so far has always got the order exactly right and it's been piping hot and yummy. So far so good. It loses 1 point for being an evil corporate chain. Other than that I can find no failings whatsoever. The drive through is a little crazy, you feel like you are returning a car when you go through it. But it's also kind of fun. To pretend you're flying away somewhere. Instead of becoming a Siberian Icicle as usual for the next 4 months. I just wish I could make Jenny See things the way I do. read more

I'm not a TH regular. Especially not in the US, I prefer Dunkin. In Canada I prefer TH. Not sure why. Could be a difference in coffee, could just be a "when in Canada" type thing. But I picked up some coffee and a blueberry muffin here because there was no Dunkin on the morning route. The muffin was terrible. Heavy and dense it sat in my stomach for ages. Never again. The triple berry muffins (not offered the day obese at this location) in Canada are good. But never again a muffin in the US. The coffee was only ok to me. To be fair, I'm a Dunkin girl, so may be that. But I will pass by this TH in the future. I just like one cup of coffee a day, and I want to like what I'm getting. So it's DD or home for me. This is probably my favorite Tim Hortons location and not because they wake me up in the morning before work (I drink decaf these days) but because their staff is quick, efficient, friendly and they make my decaf double, double perfectly! I've noticed that the coffee at the surrounding Tim Horton's locations tastes a bit too strong for me and I never get that perfect amount of cream and sugar in my large cup but I will only stop at this location when I want a fresh cup of arabica decaf. Just my personal preference. As for their donuts, I don't really care for them but I do buy an assortment of their donut holes every once in awhile and those satisfy my sugar craving just fine. I'm ashamed to admit that I have ordered their breakfast sandwiches. Ashamed because it's fast food devoid of anything healthy but it is what it is when you're hungry. I prefer their sausage over the bacon even though I appreciate bacon over sausage, but their bacon is like that crispy microwaveable bacon you buy in a box from Oscar Myers at the grocery store. So... They'll put the sausage on anything you ask for. I've tried sausage on a bagel, croissant, English Muffin, multigrain flat bread (eww), biscuit and wrap, and the best in my opinion is the sausage and cheese on a biscuit with a bagel coming in second. Truth is, they're all dry, microwaved crap but if you're starving in the morning, it's all deadly. I also don't like their eggs so I skip them. I frequent this establishment during my morning commute only. Whichever woman was working at 5:20 pm on 7/29 was so rude. For one, you can just tell she couldn't be bothered but I ignored that and asked for an ice cap which then she dryly responded saying they only do ice coffee and hot coffee, which is fine so I asked for a vanilla cream cold brew (it's coffee with ice so I thought, "iced coffee") and she dryly repeated herself saying they only do ice coffee and hot coffee to which I replied "that is an iced coffee" because... it is... and there wasn't any attitude in my voice it was more of a confused statement? And then proceeded to rudely tell me it's not so I just said okay never mind thank you! And walked away and I heard her tell her coworker "she tried getting smart with me" and they both laughed together. I'm one of the most understanding people when it comes to customer service and I promise I wasn't trying to get smart with anyone over a cup of coffee. Call ahead when ordering 6 boxes of coffee. Typical Timmy's location. I stopped on my way to work to pick up 6 to-go boxes of coffee. Obviously I made the mistake of not calling ahead. They did a good job getting it all ready as quickly as possible, but it became a comedy of errors with spills, boxes falling apart, boxes not being put together.... It took them more than 25 minutes to fill my order . Timmie's as the Canadians like to call it. I grew up in Canada and this was a fav stop for me. I've since graduated to stringer coffee but nastalgia always brings me back. I had a hot chocolate with a shot of mint (yum) in an extra large cup. Delicious. I ordered a panini and Mac and cheese to go back to my hotel (days inn right next door). Both were hot and good. Just what I needed on a cold night. I did get a donut for desert. An apple fritter. I occasionally get these at Starbucks but Tim's makes them just a wee but better! An apple fritter should be light and airy. After all it's a yeast donut. Part of the charm of Tim's is the fact that is named after a hockey icon. And there literally is one on every corner where I grew up. This one lived up to my expectations. It was clean. Service was prompt. Food came out quick. The place was empty at the time and the cashier was chatting with a friend/coworker, but it didn't interrupt my service. Didn't see the "ghetto" factor another yelped posted about. It's near an airport and a strip of hotels. I didn't expect a high end donut shop. If you go, get one of their flavor options, try a fritter or the Tim bits. read more

When it comes to Timmy's this location is as good as it gets. I don't live in Buffalo, but travel here twice a year for work. With this location only feet from all the Marriott properties it's a common stop on the way to starting the day. The drive through moves fast and when I go inside my order is in my hands before my credit card transaction is complete. Excellent service. Decent inexpensive place for a quick breakfast on the go. The service is shoddy at best. Ive been to 2 Tim Hortons here in buffalo, and both have had less than acceptable service. Checked in this morning we placed our order, and paid and were forgotten about. Twenty minutes later we go up to the counter and had to ask for our breakfast to be made. Then we found out we were charged for the incorrect items. We asked for combos, were only given the sandwiches. Then had to pay extra for the coffee. They were out of stock on hashbrowns and had no salt and pepper. read more

Aside from the coffee and the breakfast sandwich we were really disappointed. This is the second time while in Buffalo and I have never seen anything like it. I go to counter. Ordered "two #9". That implies the meal according to their message board. There are 5 employees. All running around like a chicken with their head cut off. We are the only two here except for the stream of people at the drive through. All getting their coffee, sandwiches, whatever. After about 10 min I get up from table. I stare at clerk. Ask if she can help me. I said I ordered and still waiting for my breakfast. The cashier didn't order the meal like I asked only the sandwich. So no hashbrown and no coffee. Seriously?!?! So someone runs around and I finally get the sandwich and asked for my coffee. Didn't know the hasbrown wasn't in the bag. I had my receipt. She looked at it and said that you were only charged for the sandwich not the meal. I told her I had ordered the meal according to the menu board. Nope sorry. That will be 3.48 for two coffees. I wasn't about to argue but that is crappy customer service. Can't even get a simple order with one person in line right. The other Tim Horton I went to for coffee was okay but cashier was a bit surly looked right at me even though I was next in line to get my coffee order in. I will review that one separately. All I can say is I am glad I ONLY had coffee there. As for the sandwich the bagel was fresh and tasty. The egg patty was only tepid in temp. This place is awful. Placed our order, two pastries, a bagel and a Number 3 (which they advertise is a meal). Then waited right at the front counter for about 15 minutes with no food and no acknowledgment. After watching a customer who ordered AFTER us get his 8 sandwiches and hash browns our patience ran out. Had to go to the employee and tell them we were still waiting for our order. Apparently our order had been sitting somewhere behind the counter just getting cold. The old lady making the sandwiches (which doesn't require much mental effort and skill) had the nerve to say "I called it out and no one picked it up". Which I'm gonna call a lie because I'm pretty sure we would of heard it. Then almost given the wrong pastry and NO HASH BROWNS with the meal - which seems like a very reoccurring thing according to other reviews.
