Nice little donut shop. Donuts were pretty tasty. Staff was super friendly. Definitely worth a stop in if you're in the Buffalo area.

Great breakfast for a reasonable price! We got two number one meals and a donut and apple juice for our daughter for $26! The sausage, egg and cheese croissant was really good, the hash brown was okay. I got a jelly filled donut which was excellent! The donut options were endless and I can't wait to go back and try another one. The iced coffee was tasty too! The two women working were very kind and sweet! A cute little place that offered drive thru service as well. (Review for Dingens Rd location)

Came here for sweets Pro: - The PB&J donut is delicious! I usually stick with flavors I know but today I ventured out and am so glad I did! I thought it was going to be really sweet like the Smucker's Uncrustables but it was the right balance between the PB on top and the jelly inside. - Also tried the Chocolate Frosted, and that was okay, - Very nice employee - Parking in front Cons: - None!

Having moved to Cheektowaga about a month ago, I realized that I hadn't treated myself to a donut in a while. Searching for donuts on Yelp in Cheektowaga, I came across Donut Kraze and decided to give them a chance. I came on a Saturday around 8:30am to a full parking lot and drive-thru so that was a good sign. The building itself is small with the inside feeling like an old school diner with the tables and booths, and generally, it was dark/dim inside. As soon as I walked through the front doors I could see the shelves of donuts and pastries. There were only two women working both the front counter and drive-thru, but service moved right along and I barely had to wait in line for five minutes. Both women seemed kind enough but I didn't get much chance to interact as they were trying to get customers in and out. I ended up ordering their peanut kreme donut and a peanut stick. Both donuts were very good - Both tasted fresh, were soft, coated in plenty of chopped peanuts, and overall tasted great. Of the two though, the peanut Kreme was my favorite. That donut was absolutely stuffed with cream, which made the donut really soft and was delicious! For two donuts, I paid exactly $2.50, which I thought was incredibly fair given the size and great quality. All-in-all, I had an excellent first-time experience with Donut Kraze! The quality was excellent and the prices were very reasonable for what you're getting. Now, I'll be honest, I'm a Paula's Donuts guy all day, but Donut Kraze is a good, lower-priced alternative, or for when I want a smaller donut to scratch my donut-itch. :)

We drove about 15 mins from where we stayed. Met a very nice woman at the counter. Through her recommendation, we had their chocolate cream, cream crunch, and a handful of other donuts that we haven't gotten to yet. Those two were amazing! The dough was dense but not too dense and soft. The cream filling wasn't as sweet like other places have them. It's been a day since we've purchased and all are still fresh and soft just like she said it would be. This is the greatest "cheat" weekend ever!

So if I were a rebellious cow or sheep, and I saw a lush pasture and wanted to make it my own personal dinner buffet, and I saw a sign saying "Do Not Graze", then I would ignore it, and would go ahead and munch away and to hell with the consequences. But this place has nothing to do with that. And if my name were Humphrey and I was a 50s actor who acted too cool and indifferent for my own good, then I would be "Bogart Blasé." But I'm not, and even if I was, this place has nothing to do with that either. What to get: The Sour Cream Donut. The Original Glazed. Famous Doughnuts (Main St near Hertel) may be my favourite and their original glazed maybe one of the best in the country, but Donut Kraze makes damn good donuts (not to be confused with nonuts, which is what they call a Eunuch I guess) as well and it's not far off that amazing standard. Both leave Paula's and all the crap chains miles behind, in the distance. There's another great location now in the heart of Tonawanda, next door to Peking Quick One, although nothing compares to this old, original location right off Exit 1 of I-190. Unless you're talking about floor space and decor, in which case the new one is clearly superior by miles, or should I say clearly Erie, since we're nowhere near Lake Superior. Buffalo is lucky to have some great donuts and this is one of the stand out spots which everybody should try. The fact that it's open 24 hours just makes it twice as good, because who would have thought that you could get such an excellent donut in the middle of the night. And here is my original review: Newsflash: Other than the original glazed at Famous Doughnuts, these are the best Donuts in WNY! Open 24 hrs! Get the Sour Cream donut! 30 seconds off I-190, 1 minute from I-90! If you think Paula's, Frankie's, Tim Hortons, Dunkin, are good donuts... you haven't tried these yet. What is really bizarre is that I was planning to post this review today anyway (it has already been written for a few days), and then I noticed that today's review of the day is for this place. What a strange and bizarre and unequivocally WEIRD COINCIDENCE. Okay it's not that weird, it's not weird like, what's in my attic (no you can't look, no don't ask, I won't tell you), but it was a little cool in an "omg what are the odds" sort of way. So I took out a calculator and figured out the odds, and those odds are 1 in 412.2. So there you have it. On with the review. Donut Kraze is the donut shop that Buffalo deserves, but not the one it needs right now. The donuts may be slightly overpriced (but nothing compared to the $3 NYC equivalents), at $1-ish-a-piece, but they are absolutely fantastic. They make Paula's Donuts wish they were Doughnut Plant in NYC. They make God cry. And not in a bad way. But in a I-just-had-sex-and-it-felt-so-good-a-woman-let-me-put-my-p****-inside-her-I-just-had-sex-and-I'll-never-go-back-to-the-not-having-sex-ways-of-the-past way. The donut that really rocks my world here is the Sour Cream. The girl here recommended it (and she was a super hottie too) but I was skeptical. I ordered it, and about 2 others, and I could not get enough! All the donuts were pretty good, some were very good, but the sour cream was off the charts. So greasy and crunchy, so luscious and donutty, it's exactly what you (or I) hope for when you (or I) order a donut. The second time I was here, was a less fun experience. The girl here (a different one, not as cute) was so mean to me! I wasn't sure what I wanted and she was snapping and barking at me, but not like a cute crocodile or a cute dog, like a totally not cute one. So I guess it depends which server you get, but that doesn't in any way detract from the donuts. The third time I was here, I tried a few other donuts and they were lovely, such as the coconut and the cruler. The server was adorable, and hit on me, and gave me 5 donuts for the price of 3. I also got a coffee for a friend, and tried it, and it was actually surprisingly good. Best donut in town, hands down. Although I don't know why you would put your hands down when it comes to Donut Kraze. I'd put my hands up, and say "me me me, I want a donut!" So hop off the 190 at Dingens and it's RIGHT THERE (like Marshawn Lynch was last Sunday before they decided to throw it to Butler instead), go and give it a try. And if I sound a little crazy, it's the donuts. They've put me into a DONUT KRAZE, yo.

    The half dozen!

If I'm in the mood for donuts and can't make it out to Paula's (still the #1 choice for donuts in WNY) then I'm gonna head to Donut Kraze , 1st exit off the 190 and you are there! The donuts might be a bit smaller than Paula's but the quality is there. Also they have my favorite donut of all time, Cherry chip! They open nice and early (5:30am ) so I can stop in on my way to work to bring in a sweet treat for motivation. Their breakfast sandwiches are pretty tasty as well. Stop in and grab yourself a dozen, you won't regret it (or maybe you will, calorie wise! )

    Great 1/2 dozen sampling.

Who doesn't love a good donut and coffee after sitting in the rain for an hour at a nearby soccer match?! Glad my son reminded me about this location and we stopped for a mid-morning sweet infusion. Yummmmmm! After looking at the options available we quickly changed our 2 donut order into a 1/2 dozen ($7.99). I have always been a fan of Paula's Donuts (and will always declare their peanut stick to be the best) but I have to say these jelly & cream filled selections topped Paula's in one respect- not as sweet so we could enjoy trying more than one. We included a PB & J, peanut cream, banana (with chocolate frosting) and cinnamon swirl. After hearing the order placed before us we added a strawberry cheesecake and left a "run of the mill" chocolate glazed for last. Once home the knives came out to carve up smaller pieces so we could enjoy the variety. The peanut cream was awesome - this was the one I compared most to Paula's and found I could really enjoy the flavor of the donut cake and peanut because the cream wasn't overly sweet - just right. My son loved the PB & J and we both were super happy to have included the strawberry shortcake. Leaving the rest for hubby to try some later. (And can't say how the peanut stick here compares so for now Paula's can remain tops foe that donut). Highly recommend!

Cake donuts were more of a hit then the filled donuts

Super friendly staff! I placed on order on a Thursday for pickup on a Sunday during the pandemic. I was able to request some flavors that they might not necessarily have on any given day (e.g. various cake flavors like cherry, blueberry, etc.). They seem to have a bit of a bigger variety at the Tonawanda location (e.g, crullers). When my husband went to pick it up, they didn't have it ready and apologized for the mistake. They quickly put it together and threw in an extra peanut stick. That was a really nice surprise! Taste: Their cake donuts were better then the filled to me. The banana cream donut tasted more like a super sweet, artificial banana pudding flavor. But the cherry cake donut and orange cake donut were perfectly tender with the right combination of sugar and fat. Looking forward to trying more of their rotating specials like carrot cake. FYI- They have cannoli donuts available every day (they cost just a bit more). I think they fill them on the spot.

The design of the donut shop was nice and there was also a lot of parking. The set up of the interior was very cosy. The price of the donut was very reasonable. $1.05 for one, $5.99 for half a dozen, and $10.49 for a dozen. There was only one cashier who was very kind and was very attentive despite there being a 3 to 1 ratio of customers and staff working in the front. They also provide complimentary water if asked! The donut was not bad, but it did not meet my expectations. The donuts were a tad dry which ruined the taste a bit. However, taking account that the donut was out for a while, the filling inside was sweet with a hint of tart and full of deliciousness. My favorite flavor was the strawberry cheese cake. It had actual pieces of strawberry cheese cake inside. Delicious! My least favorite was flavor of the lemon donut, I think it tasted very artificial. On the other hand, they had many options so I'd definitely return to try the rest of them! Tl;dr- Many options, tastes and textures are okay!

These are not featherweight, boring, drive thru chain donuts that never fail to disappoint. The box says they are "made with love" and while I certainly hope the bakers and makers are not oozing affection for the creations as they do their job (because that would get weird right?), the recipes and standards of ultra high quality that this unique WNY establishment has sure shows a respect and appreciation for their customers. The dough is light and never greasy tasting. The cream fillings are also fluffy and airy and melt in your mouth. Jellies are all top notch and let me be clear, the donuts are packed full with whatever is inside. Or on top. The headlights are incredible. Peanut butter offerings (several to choose from) are stellar. I'm not sure if the chocolate icing is a ganache but it seems much more like a ganache than the lousy, dried out icing you might find at places we need not mention. Staff are always courteous, polite and fast. I think each donut is going for about $2.30 but well worth it for the size and quality. A box of 3 is heavy to hold. You get a lot of donut for your buck. I've been on a Paula's kick for a couple months, stopping in when appropriate for my donut desires but trying to be mindful of my waistline. I like to sit down and really enjoy every bite. These are not ordinary donuts, they are an experience to savor. But how do Paula's donuts help one recover from surgery? It's about what you might do with them. My friend picked me up and brought me home after the hospital and slyly produced a bag of donuts for me, which I sat down and ate the minute I walked in the door. The unexpected gesture of something I've been enjoying a lot lately certainly took my mind off any discomfort. Nice friend, right? Part of recovery is having supportive friends and family and I'm glad I've got that. And I'm glad I also got a bag of donuts to make a "rough day" a lot better. So, Paula's people - I haven't tried them all yet so I guess I'm going to have to return. (Image is different donuts from a different day.)
