Campfire Food

I rarely write 1 star reviews, unless warranted, but this experience was bad enough to warrant it. The absolute worst I've ever had We ordered a simple sandwich for my son and were brought the wrong item. Instead of correcting the mistake, the owner immediately argued that we ordered it incorrectly. After going back and forth, she said she would remake it--but only if we paid for it again because otherwise "she'd lose money." As someone who has been in the restaurant industry for decades, I understand costs--but this was clearly their error. Charging a guest to fix your own mistake is unacceptable. To make matters worse, much of the food we received was already cold. When I pointed that out, she suddenly offered to remake everything, which made the earlier argument even more confusing and frustrating. The entire interaction lacked accountability and basic customer service. In over 40 years in this industry, this was one of the worst experiences I've had dealing with a restaurant owner. Would not recommend.

I was craving country fried steak so.... This is THE place to go! Crunchy breading, tender juicy steak, Lucious gravy and melt in your mouth biscuits. Can't forget the home fries. Won't have to eat till tomorrow! Never a bad meal here, great service and cozy atmosphere. Now I need a nap!

Fantastic food, great presentation. Service was outstanding. The ambiance is a feeling of camping, with the convenience of being in the neighborhood.

Went about 10 on a Sunday, there was no wait, but the place was packed and if we would have come a few minutes later we would have had to wait. It's a cute place with a camping like feel. The person I was with ordered coffee, they said the first cup was fine, but the second didn't taste as good. It took a bit for a refill as well, but the place was packed. They ordered The Lumberjack All Day Breakfast and thought it was great and would definitely recommend. Along with a side of Chocolate Chip pancakes. There were left overs since there was so much food. I got the Crunchy Griddle Toast, it was not actually crunchy though it was good. It was very filling as I only at about one and a half of the toast. Overall, I would recommend this place as you get a lot of food for the price and it is pretty good.

Campfire Grill has a strong following among locals. There is lore that says be prepared to wait for a table, because it can be very very busy. We were lucky today. They were moderately busy, but we were seated immediately, and were soon sipping on our mugs of black coffee while settling in to this rustic little diner. So many people have mentioned Campfire Grill to me, and have proclaimed it to be the best breakfast in Western New York. The most commonly recommended menu item has been the Griddle Toast Logs with strawberry and whipped cream. I now understand what all the hype was about. Campfire Grill is open for breakfast and lunch and closes by 2:30. You're going to peruse an extensive menu filled with sandwiches, wraps, flat breads, sandwich melts, and a huge breakfast menu. No matter what you're craving I strongly recommend that you order a plate of Griddle Toast Logs with strawberries for your table. It's probably the most delicious thing you'll ever eat at breakfast! I ordered the Badger Burger with fries. How do I describe "perfection?" The sandwich comes on a large brioche style bun that has been grilled in butter. It features a huge stack of meat and cheese starting with a big juicy burger topped with a pile of roast beef and crowned with bacon and cheese. They also brought me a small dish of freshly made 1000 island dressing which was the perfect condiment for this stunning sandwich. You're either gonna have to eat this with a knife and a spoon or unhinged your jaws so you can get your mouth around it. It was undoubtedly one of the best beef burgers I've ever had in my long and storied life. This sandwich doesn't require any side dishes, and yet you have a choice of french fries, coleslaw, baked beans, and some other number of things that I don't recall. I found the french fries to be very soft, almost like steamed. Those are gonna go in my air fryer when I'm ready to eat them. Even so, I'm still giving these nice folks five stars. My husband ordered the grizzly burger with coleslaw. He polished off the coleslaw immediately, and announced that it was extremely delicious. He can be rather picky when it comes to coleslaw. His Grizzly burger was served up on grilled sourdough toast and covered in bacon, lettuce and tomato. So juicy and flavorful. We brought most of our plates home, as the portions were phenomenal! I have to agree that the Campfire Grill is the best breakfast place in all of WNY. Now I wanna bring all my friends and family here to enjoy all these sweet and savory treats! We highly recommend the campfire grill to you as well.

I actually found campfire grill through Yelp, looking for a new lunch place to bring my kid where we would both be happy. Such a great time! Good vibe, and the theme is on-point throughout the place. Server was kind to my kiddo, and did not blanch at my kid playing with the creamers, etc. Breakfast portions looked almost comically large, and I look forward to coming back to try. Their lunch food was a perfect for what we wanted: tasty comfort food. Sandwiches were fair portions, with lots of options for what to eat. When we were ready to go, I asked that my kiddo's remaining drink be put in a to-go cup. They gave us a whole new cup, filled to the top. Genuinely a great experience.

The place is cute and reminds me of a country kitchen. The service was quick and friendly, checked on us and refilled when needed. The breakfast was typical the eggs and bacon were good, the potatoes tasted burnt but the grilled onions were yummy.

Crunchy Griddle Toast "Mountain" size (5 pieces) w/coffee

Campfire Grill continues to be one of my favorite spots to grab pancakes, and over the last year, French Toast! I arrived around on Memorial Day 2025, around 8:15am, and was able to pick my own seat at the bar. I have to say, the young gentleman who was the host/cashier, was not the warmest - I know it's early and he was young, but it would have made an impact, at least to me, if he was just a little more welcoming. But he was nice enough, bringing over a menu and silverware to the spot I chose. Not long after I sat down, I had a hot cup of coffee in front of me and waited for someone to take my order. There were a couple young women working the bar and a couple working the tables out and about. The young woman who took my order was warm and courteous! I enjoy sitting at the bar because you can kind of see what's going on in the kitchen and listen to all the gossip from the staff. haha I overheard them say a new cook was working this morning so it may take a few extra moments to get food out. I didn't notice much of a delay, if anything, it was nice to read a few news articles and sip a few cups of coffee. For breakfast, I went with a new favorite: Crunchy Griddle Toast, which is their griddle (or French) toast coated with crushed vanilla almond granola. Because I have a BIG appetite, I ordered five, what they call the "Mountain" size. haha I absolutely love the combo of vanilla, cinnamon, and almond flavors. Combining crunchy granola with the warm, toasted bread and some maple syrup and butter, truly take French toast to the next level. Every piece is a wonderful cacophony of flavor and texture. I like to get five of these since I don't come too often but I find this is the right amount to fill me up for the day - I know I won't be hungry until dinner. As for the price, I was sad to see the prices go up as much as they have. I remember when I first found them back in 2017 and couldn't believe how affordable it was. I know it's not their fault though and they have to adjust - I want them to stay around for a VERY long time! Cashing out was quick and easy, going back to the host station. I was glad I got there when I did as about 9am the place was filling up fast! Campfire Grill is remains a favorite; a spot I wouldn't have any problem bringing family to. Their hotcakes and griddle toast are next level!

We always love going to campfire grill. I can't believe I only found out about it a couple years ago but I don't live in the area. Their cinnamon roll pancakes are *chef's kiss* and it's always busy in there but the wait is never longer than 10 minutes. The service is great and the ambiance is very family oriented. I will come back here as much as possible for breakfast!

Service here was excellent, food came out promptly, servers were very attentive and nice. Just a nice little place to have a family breakfast. The food was delicious! Probably one of the best eggs Benedict I've ever had, the hollandaise sauce was creamy and they give you plenty. The campfire potatoes were crispy and seasoned very well. The crispy griddle cakes were fluffy and cooked very well, topped with the perfect amount of brown sugar and vanilla granola. My husband's garbage plate seemed to have everything you could want at a breakfast joint in one. Had a great experience!

Food was ready about five minutes after my scheduled time, which for as busy as they were, I thought that was great timing. Ordered the big sampler, with pulled chicken, pulled pork, brisket and ribs! Platter is a nice size with large portions, four of us ate on it. The pulled chicken for me was a stand out, so good! 10 piece chicken wings, cheeseburger with fries, pizza logs and crab cake platter. For our sides we tried the mac and cheese, pasta salad, baked beans, mash potatoes and sweet potatoe fries. Everything was good and would get again, except the crab cakes. These were just not good, very fishy, and burnt. The pizza logs were huge! The Mac and cheese had no seasoning, but was cheesy and after little salt and pepper wasn't to bad. Definitely on my top three favorite BBQ spots! I forgot pictures, but enjoy the video!

I ordered the smash burger, my husband ordered the turkey sandwich. After we were waiting for our food for over 25 minutes, the server came over and said that he was just informed they don't have the turkey because they had an issue with that freezer. Ok, so my husband ordered the cheese steak because he was super excited for the bahn mi roll. My smash burger was alright, but the bread they use for their burgers remind me of those cheap buns you get from TOPS that just fall apart. The worst part was that they forgot the dog sauce on my burger, so I asked for the sauce, and THEY CHARGED ME FOR ASKING FOR SAUCE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO ALREADY BE ON THE BURGER I ORDERED. My husband made sure to tell me after we already left because he knew I would have fought it and our already 1.5 hour long lunch date would have been longer waiting for the refund... He ordered the cheesesteak and the sandwich was so small, and the "bahn mi bun" wasn't even toasted which is a signature for bahn mi bread. He said the flavor was fine but nothing to rave about. The worst part, for me, were the French fries that came with both of our meals. They were soooo heavily peppered that they were inedible. We asked for ketchup to try to make them tolerable, and they gave us a pre-portioned small cup of ketchup... You serve french fries with most of your menu, why isn't there ketchup on the table?!? Overall, It was a nice place to have on senrca street which used to only have the blackthorn and franchescas, but I would not eat here again.

It had really good flavor without being overpowering. The best part about the fish fry is the sides and this place doesn't skimp out on sides. A big serving of fries, potato salad, mac salad, coleslaw, and rye bread made this meal HUGE. They all tasted great. The fries were crispy and I like how they put tin foil between the fries and fish to keep them both fresh. Parking here is a little tricky on a busy Friday but the vibes in here are very old school bar and restaurant. We will definitely be back for more fish fry specials!
