This was our third time at this restaurant . First two times, we had an awesome breakfast. This time we left disappointed. My husband had the Mone Cristo but had a hard time finding the ham, he also said it didn't taste quite right. I had the sugar waffle that is deep fried then coated with cinnamon sugar , served with fruit, chocolate syrup and Bourbon cream sauce. This time, it tasted too much like the frying oil and was greasy. We might try again if out this way but could have had a better breakfast somewhere else. Stopped by for breakfast and opted for the simple eggs, home fries and toast. Eggs were fine sunny side up, slice of toast was buttery but the home fries almost chipped a tooth - some pieces were rock hard :( Wasn't just my plate. Hubby ordered the same thing with sausage and a pancake. Stole a bite of meat and that was good. The pancake was dry and thick. Stopped in here for lunch. They're only open for breakfast and lunch. Hours vary slightly from weekdays to weekends. I ordered the veggies quiche from the daily special menu (forgot a picture). It came with home fries. I was surprised when it was placed in front of me since I expected a pie type of slice. What I received was a brownie type slice (square). It was really good! Forgot what was in it besides peppers and onions but it tasted delightful. Sometimes the crust is 'just there' to hold everything together. This crust was light and flaky and buttery. I am a regular here. Their eggs Benedict is made with a croissant, which is a wonderful upgrade to the traditional plate. I also get their monte cristo breakfast sandwich with provolone instead of Swiss and crispy bacon instead of ham. Delightful! Service is always extremely friendly and accommodating, everyone has a smile on their faces and they visit the table regularly and anticipate your needs. The place is always packed. This is my first time here and definately plan to come back often. This is a nice frendly diner serving breakfast all day and lunch. Went for lunch so have not tried their coffee yet but will go for breakfast next time. Adding to the family like atmosphere, they serve their water in Mason Jars, nice touch. I have been on a personal mission to find the best Reuben Sandwich in Western New York so on this visit I ordered the Reuben. It was served with a half pickle and handmade fresh chrispy potato chips. One of the criteria I use to rate Reubens is not so much flavor (they have all tasted great) but how the sandwich is built. Most places start with a slice of some type of rye bread, put the sauerkraut on the bread, add thousand island dressing, corned beef, sometimes a slice of swiss cheese and top it with another slice of bread then grill the whole thing. What's wrong with this order of ingredients is that the sandwiches are always served with a completely limp and soggy/mushy bottom slice of bread making it pretty much impossible to pick it up. Great news, the Unbridled Cafe Reuben a little different. It doesn't matter where they put the cabbage ingredient because they use coleslaw with a mayonnaise based dressing so no liquid to soggy up the bread. I have to admit, I didn't expect a Reuben without sauerkraut to taste so good. I'm a new convert. It was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend you try it. This little cafe is absolutely amazing! The service is outstanding and the food is delicious! On a Sunday morning it was a little busy but the wait wasn't too bad. Our server was very kind and made sure to go above and beyond. The specials included the toffee pancakes and also lemon blueberry waffles! The pancakes were three giant plate size pancakes, which is definitely worth ordering!!! Definitely will be back... This is a great local place. I love their lattes. They always have fun, seasonal flavors, and they can make them with almond milk, which I typically prefer. I am all about a good breakfast, and Unbridled Cafe came up on my radar. What a wonderful find I came across. The restaurant is spacious and very clean. The server and the rest of the staff, was very friendly. Everyone said hello and had a contagious smile. My son and I came for breakfast (all day) but they also serve soups, salads and sandwiches. Prices and quantity is on par with other places. I did not leave hungry and am actually planning to come back very soon. Blueberry pancakes- They use real blueberries and the pancake batter they use is amazing. Pancakes are the size of the plate. Omelette- I ordered the create your own. When NYBP had a 2hr wait for a table , the five of us gals had to come up with a plan B and decided upon this quaint cafe about 5 miles down Transit rd from the brewery . We waited only about 10 minutes until we were seated and greeted by our friendly server . I was very happy to see they were serving apple cider mimosas (pretty much the reason I wanted to go to NYBP in the first place ) and ordered one along with their take on a McGriddle breakfast sandwich . I stopped in yesterday morning for my first time. I was greeted immediately by a very friendly woman. I ordered coffee and breakfast. (over easy eggs, bacon, homefries, and rye toast). My eggs were cooked perfectly, the best I've had in a while. The bacon was crisp, but not too crisp that the flavor was fried out of it. I didn't care too much for the homefries. There was one slice of toast that was cut into 2 pieces that were served. My server provided me with exceptional service. He made sure that my coffee was always topped off. He was kind and very respectful. He checked on me at all the right times and always had a smile. I felt so welcomed here and would definitely visit again when I'm in the neighborhood. The first time I enjoyed breakfast at this East Amherst charm, I took my mom for her birthday. Neither of us had been before, so it was an absolute treat for us both. I had an omelet made my way; my mom had French toast. Our server was just fantastic. I told her it was my mom's 83rd birthday and she made my mom feel so special! She even posed for a photo with my mom, which my mom got a real kick out of. The next time I went was to take my friend Robin, who was visiting from Florida. She raved about the atmosphere, the food, and the great service. My friend Erin came up to visit (also from Florida) and also had glowing things to say. Erin and Robin are both big foodies, and Erin runs her own catering business, so when they have wonderful things to say about food, and even more complimentary things to say about service, I feel like I've chosen the perfect place to bring them. When my birthday came around this year, I knew I wanted to have my birthday breakfast at Unbridled Cafe. They did not disappoint. Unbridled Cafe is bright and modern, located in a strip plaza storefront. Black and white checkered mini curtains gave it a diner-y feel. The theme was (naturally) equestrian, with tasteful horse imagery around. The ceiling was painted black, which added a nice touch. I noticed three horseshoes tacked to the wall upside down and it troubled me that their luck would run out, which (I learned in school in Texas) is why you put horseshoe decor with the open side UP, but I digress. There are two entrances/exits, but only one is to be used. You must enter via the Mercantile part of the building, a small crafty looking shop with packaged granola and other food and artisan items for sale. We were seated by the window at a two-top, and directly under a speaker. I love music, but this was just not comfortable to be seated under this Valentine's Day. The service was unrushed and attentive. As a first time visitor, I was intrigued to try a few items. Starting with coffee, it came served in a very cheery lime green mug with several containers of International Delight artificial creamers on the saucer. His iced tea was served in a lovely farmhouse mason jar with a nice slice of lemon. He ordered the rustic turkey club and it was unlike any club. It had a real slab of turkey on it, not lunch meat, served with basil pesto on an appealing ciabatta roll. The homemade chips were something you might acquire a taste for, ditto the pickle which was not a crispy one. I ordered a basic breakfast : two poached eggs (done to perfection) with good toast and home fries, which I didn't care for, thinking maybe they were end of breakfast leftovers, too oily and not hot. I also ordered a pancake to try, and well, let's say that you needed a knife to cut it, so thumbs down on the pancake. Something I noticed on the table and thought off-putting was a note stating "during busy times, please limit your stay to 90 minutes". Listen, on their hard wooden chairs, I doubt you'd be comfortable staying longer anyway. I've never seen a note like that and have been to some super busy diners, like MarDee's in Clarence. The room was comfortable with a variety of table sizes, from tables for two, to a large table that would accommodate many diners. I would come back to try again, but not sure I'll become a regular. Note that Unbridled Cafe makes a point that they strive to provide a positive dining experience, and I believe they mean that. read more

It's out on Transit near North Forest where you have all those little strip center:plaza type places. So as a result totally easy parking. It's a small menu. They do breakfast and lunch and then some nights have dinner. I had pancakes and bacon. The pancakes were ok. they came with one of those funny little syrup packets and a little bit of butter. I even had a cider mimosa that was delish. I opted for Bourbon French toast with bacon. My guests had a coffee cake french toast and a burger with fries. All of the food came out fresh and delicious. The coffee cake was just that pieces of coffee cake sliced then and warmed up. It wasn't really a cooked french toast to me. It was a bit dry and crumbly bit the bourbon was an actual toast with robust flavors. I could not recall which prior restaurant was here initially, but then I remembered the Grill Kabab. Really cute café and good food, however very disappointed because we arrived for breakfast today on a Sunday and we were turned away because we did not have a reservation. We were not even offered the ability to wait for a table. I'm not going to normally complain about service, but I'm upset because no where did it say that reservations were required. No signs on the door or online. We have eaten here before without Reservations. This is quite aggravating and inconvenience because I am in a wheelchair and have to get lifted out of a vehicle and put into my chair, then get all fixed and adjusted. Spent five minutes putting my shoes on, then headed into the restaurant Just to be told we can't be accommodated. So we had to turn around and go through everything again having to get lifted back in the vehicle, break down the wheelchair all for nothing. I have eaten here once before without an issue, which is why we went through all that and got out of our vehicle before checking if a reservation was even needed. I truly appreciate when restaurants make it known that reservations are required or needed, especially in my situation to make life a lot less complicated. Please notify your customers!!! Unbridled has a Lenten fish fry that is fantastic! The fish is offered in several styles such as Italian, Greek, Broiled or Beer battered. It is tender and very tasty. It is offered with potato salad, macaroni salad, or coleslaw, choice of two. Homemade potato chips included with each. All delicious and filling. My only criticism is that the potatoes have a sprinkling of a salty and spicy flavoring that is too spicy. I would suggest offering it to customers in a salt shaker so they can choose it or not. The potatoes are wonderful without it, in my opinion. I do not like hot spicy additions to my food. Servers are all friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is clean and relaxing. Heidi has met her goal!
