Chocolate Chip Pancake
Danielle P.

Went on a Saturday at like 10am only a 15 minute wait. I got chocolate chip pancakes, there was not chocolate inside the pancake, they were only a topping. At the other location they are inside, so that was a disappointment. The person I was with also got a coffee and never got a refill. Overall the food was fine, we just prefer the other locations.

Pancakes ordered with extra chocolate chips...
Taylor S.

The pancakes are delicious here! Unfortunately, we ordered our pancakes with extra chocolate chips (which somehow costs $1.80...) and were surprised to find barely any on the pancakes. Turns out they put them in a separate container, which meant the chocolate chips were not melted on the pancakes at all. This is the only time that has happened when I've ordered extra chocolate chips on my pancakes anywhere and seems very counterintuitive. The breakfast potatoes are yummy though! Unfortunately, ordering takeout here is very complicated. The online ordering site has glitches (for example, if you select no onions for the breakfast potatoes, it shows up as "onions" on the order summary and arrives with onions). To make it worse, there's no way to speak to a human being at the restaurant on the phone, so you have to physically go there to order and wait for your food there. Very frustrating. If you're not going to allow people to call your restaurant directly, the online ordering should be seamless, and it's not. It also doesn't allow for written customizations. They also consistently seem understaffed. Good food but just so complicated to order it for takeout sadly

Went for breakfast. I was so glad to be able to join the waitlist online in advance. We were seated promptly once our table was ready. I opted for a coffee but a lot of people were drinking orange juice, it looked really good. I ordered the veggie omelette and upgraded my pancakes to strawberry. The pancakes were perfect. My omelette was good too! Our server was really nice and had very cute tattoos.

Stopped in for a late breakfast/early lunch. That's the great thing about all day breakfast spots, it doesn't matter what time you're there, breakfast is always a good choice. When we walked in, it was a little busy but a lot of people were heading out. We sat down at our table and got water and menus. I ordered an orange juice which was delicious and tasted fresh squeezed. We gave our order and waited for our food. My friend ordered himself an omelet with pancakes while I ordered two eggs, sausage, and pancakes. We waited a pretty good amount before our food came out. We both blamed the omelet for taking too long jokingly but still didn't think it would be as long as it was. The food was delicious. The buttermilk pancakes were incredible and tasted so much better than any pancakes I have had lately. I love the vibes here too. It has that classic diner feel but just a bit elevated enough to make it feel modern. The staff and servers were great. We will definitely be back.

Came in for a super quick breakfast after Record Store Day, and we had a nice time! We came in on a super busy morning and were excited to be seated pretty quickly for how busy it was inside. Our server was super nice and attentive to our table as well as answering questions about the menu and rewards program as it was our first time there. The ambiance was defiantly lively and not a quiet breakfast experience so keep that in mind if that's what you are looking for! We didn't mind and thought it was a fun atmosphere. The food here I do have to say was expensive for breakfast food, check the menu photos for prices, and it was all pretty good. I got the bacon and eggs with three buttermilk pancakes. The pancakes were fabulous! So golden and buttery, but the eggs and bacon were more standard fare. For $15 I would've hoped for better.

We walked in at 10 o'clock on a Sunday morning and we're seated right away surprisingly. Even though the restaurant was full, people kept moving in and out. We ordered a cinnamon apple pancake with sides of potatoes and bacon, and I was go by the size of the pancake (which is really a Dutch baby). The cinnamon, apple pancakes were delicious, as was the baking. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Everyone was dressed in Bill scare appropriately. The place was busy, and it was a little loud, but nothing unusual for a boisterous pregame crowd. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great brunch in Williamsville.

This is a sausage + egg combo that came with a stack of their thin pancakes. home fries also pictured.

Visiting from out of town and one of my favorite spots to go is the pancake house. This time around The food was okay, but the sausage and potatoes I ordered did arrive to the table cold. The serving size of the home fries is a little disappointing for the price of over $4 for a literal toddler sized handful of potatoes and onions. The waitress did bring a fresh serving of potatoes. they were pretty good. Very friendly staff, clean dining area.

Fresh Blueberry crepes - delicious!

Great breakfast for a party of 8 during the week. We had to wait only a few minutes for the team to put some tables together before we were seated. The restaurant is easy to find and has parking on the side. If you are facing the building, parking is on the right side of the building. The restaurant is accessible though could be tight maneuvering through all of the tables & chairs on a busy day. Male/Female-specific bathrooms are also accessible and located down the back hallway. Our server took great care of us and got our drinks and food orders in quickly. She was efficient and checked on us for beverage refills regularly. A highlight of the meal was my nephew's blueberry crepes - he loved them - and the side of bacon was thick and well-prepared. My spinach and feta omelette was one of the best I've had, and I appreciate that the side of pancakes were NOT enormous. They were 5-6 inches in diameter - perfect size to go with an omelette so I was not overstuffed afterwards. We would definitely return when in the area!

Gingerbread Pancakes

Stopped in on a snowy afternoon and we almost had the whole restaurant to ourselves! Decided on the special Gingerbread pancakes and they were absolutely delicious! You can tell they make everything from scratch! Will definitely be back in to try more pancakes soon!

What a great breakfast spot in Williamsville, NY. I'm so glad we tried this place, very busy restaurant, hostess are friendly, the waitstaff go above and beyond. Monique is amazing!!! I ordered pigs in a blanket, one guest ordered French toast, and another the buttermilk pancakes. They were delicious, covered in a bit too much powdered sugar for me. The next day we went had Monique again, what a doll! Crepes with strawberries and cream, French toast, eggs with turkey sausage, huge cheese omelet. Absolutely amazing! Coffee is so good and never empty coffee mugs...Bright and cheery decor, tables comfortable, dining room can be loud. We will definitely be back when in Williamsville!

7.85 bacon
Nathan H.

We have been here many times the only thing that really changes are the prices. They seem to go up quite dramatically. $7.85 for 4 pieces of bacon seems a bit overpriced. Strawberry crepes were amazing as always. Out server Stacey I was incredible she stopped over many times to check on us. The food and service is always top notch just very pricey. Wait was about 20 minutes to be seated on a weekend.

Apple dutch baby with home fries and bacon.

This place does a great job of being exactly what it tries to be: No frills, comfort food in a family friendly setting. The portion sizes were generous and the staff keeps everything moving. We were there on a very busy Sunday morning and still didn't have to wait too long for anything. The dinning room was loud and full of Bills fans carbo-loading on game day. We had heard great things about the apple dutch boy, so my wife and I ordered that to share along with home fries and a plate of bacon. When the food came we were not disappointed! The Dutch baby was HUGE and so hot we had to pick it apart a bit before we could safely eat it, but it was worth the wait! This thing was decadent beyond belief, gooey, sweet, doughy, piled high with tart apples. And even with two adults eating we barely finished half of it. The bacon was also top notch, thick cut and chewy crisp. The only downside was that the home fries were loaded with onions to the point where they really overpowered not only that dish, but the meal until we set them aside. I would not get those again, but I highly recommend everything else!

Eggs over medium w/ bacon, pancakes & coffee.
Nathan H.

I went to The Original Pancake House for late breakfast in Buffalo NY on my way between work in Rochester NY and a flight out of Buffalo. The place was still very busy on a Thursday morning around 10:45am and service was friendly and very good. Eggs over medium cooked perfectly with a little runny yolk but not in the range of over easy. Egg quality was better than average as seen by the yolk color. The bacon was also a better quality of thick (but not too thick) and crispiness, but still tender and very tasty. The pancakes were pretty good as well - golden, not overdone and not undercooked. Coffee was pretty good too. I would return again if in the area!

My friend ordered the falafel burger and Greek potatoes and he said they were great. But don't be like my friend; the potatoes are very soft and there's a crazy amount of butter in their bowl and not once, but twice, he picked one up with his fork and it broke on his lap, getting butter everywhere! So make sure you eat them right over the bowl before you ruin your pants and shirt haha I ordered the applewood smoked bacon burger. You get your choice of cheese and I think they had a good five options. I ordered it medium but I will say it was more close to well-done. It didn't bother me and also it was still very very juicy so no biggie. It was well-flavored and stacked with bacon and I nice siracha mayo, as well as the usual tomato, onion, and lettuce. These handhelds come with standard ripple potato chips but you can have other options for an up charge (fries, potatoes, soup, salad...) Seating is indoor and outdoor. I enjoyed sitting outside. It was a Saturday morning and while street parking was plentiful, the line inside was pretty long. That said, the line moved at a reasonable pace and tables seemed to turn over fairly quickly. By the time our coffees were ready, we were able to grab a seat without too much trouble. My mom ordered a black coffee while I opted for one of the seasonal lattes. Both were smooth, well balanced, and what we were hoping for on a cold winter morning! Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the food selection. We were hoping for a light breakfast but options were limited to cookies and a few small pastries. The items that sounded most appealing were already sold out for the day which was a bit of a bummer! This is definitely not a full breakfast spot. Prices were on par with what you'd expect from a craft coffee shop, especially in the Williamsville area. While I enjoyed the coffee, the overall experience on a busy winter morning felt a little too hectic for my liking. All that to say I'd absolutely return, just at an off hour and after having already eaten. Overwinter is popular for a reason, and with better timing on my part, I know it would shine even brighter to me!

This spot has always been a favorite of mine. It really makes the one end of Main Street in Williamsville. We started out with the pretzels and elote dip. The chips for the elote were great too and the dip was a great way to start the meal. The pretzels were soft and chewy and I really enjoyed the mustard they used. I couldn't decide on the main part of my dinner and kept going back between a pizza and a burger. Ended up going with the Nashville Hot Chicken pizza and I was very happy with the choice. The pizza had some heat but nothing too crazy. The wood fire pizza itself was cooked perfectly. Very good and I will definitely be back for more of their pizzas. I also ended up getting a piece of cheesecake to take home and it was great! Very sweet and creamy. I have never seen a rectangle piece of cheesecake before, but maybe that's the secret to why it was so good. We will definitely be back for more here. We love coming here with friends and it is a good spot for dinner or a double date.

Well, they were on the list of Yelp Buffalo's top places to eat in 2025, so of course we had to give them a try. The space itself is really beautiful. Nestled alongside a river with a cabinesque vibe. Stone exterior, with wood floors, exposed brick, and large fermentation tanks on the interior. It's really quite cozy. As for food, our table shared one of their tasty dips - the elote one to be exact. Elote is delicious on its own, but in dip form with pickled red onions, fire! I could eat an entire bucket of this stuff. When it came to my main course I ordered what I call the basic girl dinner, a caesar salad and fries... but here I went with the tater tots because I was told they are heavenly. My salad was a good portion size and exactly what you want when you order a caesar. As for the tots, the amount you get is insane and they were in fact, fried to a crispy perfection. They definitely hit the spot. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and I can see why Yelpers in Buffalo rate this spot so high. If I lived nearby I would definitely be a frequent flyer.

Bison sliders 8/10 Meat was good, the slider burgers were pretty thick and juicy. I would recommend since they were so think maybe cooking them a minute less for a more medium cook. I liked the goat cheese paired with the meat but you really couldn't taste it, i wish there was more. I'm not sure if it was the onion jam or the blueberry BBQ but something was a little spicy. Bbq pork belly tacos 7/10 The pork was cooked great, and the bbq was a good flavor. I liked the idea behind the double shell (one hard, one corn tortilla), but I think it would have worked better if it was a flour tortilla because both shells ended up breaking and I needed to use a fork to eat it. We ordered several dishes: 1) Eggplant Caprese: deep fried eggplant, tomato, basil chiffonade, and balsamic drizzle. The eggplant is breaded and spiced nicely. It was served hot. There are 2 and it was good 2) Roasted Artichoke: it was really the heart with the stem, breaded, served with a very small amount of arugula, lots of shaved parmesan and a lemon wedge. This was very good- wish there was a bit more arugula. My bad for not ordering a salad 3) Bison Sliders: the blueberry BBQ sauce intrigued me. There are 3 and it is served medium, or maybe medium rare. The grilled onions were yummy on there! 4) Jackruit Tacos: these were on the paper menu with their specials. What is smart is the taco shell is fried and they serve it inside a regular tortilla. Both corn. Yummy with the pickled onion. 5) chocolate ganache cake: GF and surprisingly dense and yummy. Served with a dollop of strawberry jam and some whipped cream. Yummy! I didn't take a photo of it as we just dove in! We are bummed that they are booked tomorrow night!
