Mimosa (I think? Photo taken March 2024)

3/2024: Eggs Benedict 8/10 Eggs- way under poached for me. The whites were still super slimy inside, which grosses me out a lot. Pea meal bacon- really good. English muffin- got really soggy really fast and would not stay together and was difficult to pick up with a fork. Hollandaise- pretty good. Had a good flavor but not super lemony. Was pretty thin too, didn't stay on your bite easily. Home fries 9/10 Pretty good. They were seasoned. The outsides were crispy and soft insides. Fully cooked. They were better dipped in the hollandaise than plain though.

I recently visited 800 Maple for the first time, though I've ordered from there through DoorDash before. They used to have an amazing pizza with chorizo (I think) and honey, which was absolutely delicious. Sadly, they took it off the menu, and I'm not sure why, because it was a standout. I really hope they bring it back! I've also been for brunch once, and while the place itself is great, I was a bit let down. The atmosphere was lovely, and the server was excellent--he took the time to chat with us and was always there when we had questions. Even though it was busy, he still made sure to pay attention to us. However, the woman who helped bring out and box the food came across as rude. She seemed annoyed a few times, and I'm not sure if it was something we did or if she was just having a bad day. Hopefully, it was the latter because the rest of the staff was very friendly. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it for brunch--the mimosas are fantastic, and it's a great spot for a girls' gathering! As for dinner, I can't fully comment since the only dish I loved was that pizza, which is no longer on the menu.

I've been to 800 maple a handful of times and always had a great experience! I love the ambiance, the food, the staff is great. The mimosa tower is a must if you go for brunch !

Began with the Fig Blossom cocktail which was great. For appetizers, the wild mushroom arancini and the Michael pizza. Both good - the arancini were indeed mushroomy, the pizza was great. Went out on a limb and tried the long island duck breast, cooked medium, for an entree. Wasn't particularly up my alley - a lot happening with the parsnip puree and strawberry rhubarb. However, the duck itself was good; the skin was exceptionally crispy and tasty. Added Lobster mac and cheese for a side - VERY creamy, very good. Ended with the brookie - a warm cookie/brownie combo with cold vanilla ice cream which was phenomenal. Washed down dessert with an espresso martini. Our server was amazing - nice, knowledgeable, etc.

Second time at 800 Maple. This time we had the hot banana peppers for appetizer, and I had the Bronzino on the special menu. Both are delicious. Fir a Monday night, the restaurant was almost full! The appetizer took a little time to come out, but service was good.

Had a group of 11 and every single person left extremely pleased! All of our food was divine. Eggs Benedict, Monte Cristo, and the breakfast pizza being the favorites. The place is beautiful inside, lots of parking. We had someone in our party with very severe food allergies who requires a lot of accommodations (printed on a card provided to the waitress and chef) and they made her food safely and as requested and had great attitude about it, it was so appreciated! Honorable mention is the amount of mimosa flavors. All were delicious but grapefruit and passion fruit were my favorite. Can't wait to return!

Came here for our 5th year anniversary and left feeling underwhelmed. We were seated and our table was immediately broken. Service staff was incredibly helpful in trying to fix it but ultimately needed to move us to a new table because the leaves were hitting our legs while we were looking at the menu making it uncomfortable. The next chair I was sat at was also broken so 800 maple may be due for a remodel in its near future as both the tables we sat at had broken furniture. Our waiter was very sweet but bit unprepared for a busy Sunday. He had served my partner the Ithaca flower beer rather than the flower wine we had actually ordered but had left the table before we could correct him to go serve his other tables. We were rarely checked on to place more drink orders in throughout the night and getting more cocktails was slow process. Food was overall pretty solid. As a pizza snob, I was hoping for a bit more from the pizza. We ordered the Anthony and it was a softer crust and could just use a bit more flavor. Desert was excellent as I can never say no to a crème brûlée. The brookie was next level rich but still delicious. We are walking distance from 800 maple so we were a bit let down that this couldn't reach our expectations of our new special occasion spot.

Delicious food everytime- I usually get the filet and it's always consistently good! The vibes are so much fun! Service is welcoming, helpful and warm!

Paisano Pizza

In a nutshell: 5 star service, chic decor, great food. Starting with service, every member of the staff we interacted with was friendly and checked on us frequently. The food options were great too. I got oysters and the Paisano wood fired pizza and both were fantastic. The pizza was large enough to split between two people if you also got a side or dessert, or would make a great appetizer for several people as well. The pizzas run $20ish. The other entrees include pasta, chicken, steak or seafood and run $30-$45ish. The dining room and bar atmosphere felt chic, the type of place where jeans are ok with a nice top. Tables have linens covered with a sheet of paper. However the dining room felt cramped by the time we finished dinner, weaving tightly through diners on our way out. I would love to come back here again.

Excellent. The food is beautifully prepared, nicely presented, comes out at the right temperature. The wine list is more than adequate. Despite the crowding, they will be ready for you at your scheduled reservation time. The prices are reasonable. The service is ok. The Wait staff is well-versed in the subtleties of the menu. Even the bus staff are helpful beyond their job description. Due I think to the well-deserved popularity of the establishment, service can be a bit slow. The bar is magnificently stocked with hard to find bourbons at your disposal. There is real talent in that kitchen. If it wasn't for delays between certain courses, and waiting a long time for the check, 800 Maple would've earned the fifth star.

Eggplant Caprese 9/10 Very crispy eggplant breading. The eggplant itself was cooked good. There was also more eggplant than there was Mozz and tomato- so I would suggest adding another couple slices to balance out every bite. I'd add a touch more balsamic too. Bison sliders 8/10 Meat was good, the slider burgers were pretty thick and juicy. I would recommend since they were so think maybe cooking them a minute less for a more medium cook. I liked the goat cheese paired with the meat but you really couldn't taste it, i wish there was more. I'm not sure if it was the onion jam or the blueberry BBQ but something was a little spicy. Bbq pork belly tacos 7/10 The pork was cooked great, and the bbq was a good flavor. I liked the idea behind the double shell (one hard, one corn tortilla), but I think it would have worked better if it was a flour tortilla because both shells ended up breaking and I needed to use a fork to eat it. Between the hard shell and the sweet potato crisps, there was too much crunch for me. I did like the pairing of the pineapple with the BBQ sauce.

He once told me that the only thing worse than cheap wine is Buffalo in the winter and of course, here we are.. We searched Yelp and Share Kitchen had great reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. Our server was Hannah and she is absolutely a 5 stars gem! Super nice and down to earth. We ordered several dishes: 1) Eggplant Caprese: deep fried eggplant, tomato, basil chiffonade, and balsamic drizzle. The eggplant is breaded and spiced nicely. It was served hot. There are 2 and it was good 2) Roasted Artichoke: it was really the heart with the stem, breaded, served with a very small amount of arugula, lots of shaved parmesan and a lemon wedge. This was very good- wish there was a bit more arugula. My bad for not ordering a salad 3) Bison Sliders: the blueberry BBQ sauce intrigued me. There are 3 and it is served medium, or maybe medium rare. The grilled onions were yummy on there! 4) Jackruit Tacos: these were on the paper menu with their specials. What is smart is the taco shell is fried and they serve it inside a regular tortilla. Both corn. Yummy with the pickled onion. 5) chocolate ganache cake: GF and surprisingly dense and yummy. Served with a dollop of strawberry jam and some whipped cream. Yummy! I didn't take a photo of it as we just dove in! We are bummed that they are booked tomorrow night! It's a great place to take a date and there are tables for 4 or you can eat at the bar as well. All around great ambience, our server is awesome and the food ono!! We talked to the host while waiting for our Uber and he is also born & raised in Buffalo- everyone we've met from Buffalo is so nice, including our neighbor who we will deeply miss. Please try Share Kitchen & Bar. You will not be disappointed!

Since then, they've become very commonly put in the best wings group for locals. However, I will say that while that is a great thing for their business, it may be a con too. This is a very small dive bar. Nice sports bar atmosphere and the staff is generally very nice and accommodating. But the last couple times we've been, we've noticed the dip in food service. We showed up at 5pm on a Saturday, and when we walked in, I kid you not, there was not one order of food on any of the tables, and the tables were filled. Very bizarre. I would assume they do a great portion of their business with door dash, and it seems as if that took priority over feeding the customers inside of the actual restaurant. It also seemed extremely overpriced. (I didn't pay much attention in the past about the price.) for 5 single order of wings, order of fingers, 1 order of onion rings, and 1 order of fries, our bill (4 adults and 2 kids) was $172. I could not believe it. You would have thought we ate at Lucia's for that price. While they are still my favorite wings, it's gonna cost you.

Their specialty is seafood and they are known for lobster rolls. The restaurant is in what looks like an old house, so we did drive right by. The parking lot was packed when we arrived, and for pretty good reason! Highly recommend making a reservation - the parking lot was full and so was the dining room. We had a reservation for 6:30 on a Saturday and were seated right away. Obviously, we were getting seafood. The menu is moderately sized, with some raw but mostly cooked options. Steamed are New England style, plain with butter. I chose steamed crab legs. They were priced fair, and I thought the meat was good quality! it was 6 legs in the serving, with 2 sides, so a generous portion. I appreciated the kitchen shears that they provided, it's how we do it at home! My date had surf and turf, and had no complaints, but did claim to be "stuffed". We also had tiramisu, which was delicious! The vibe is pretty laid back for a seafood restaurant, and there were big groups having a good time.
