Our service and the ambiance was immaculate. This place has a great regal vibe that I love! We were accommodated so nicely with everything we asked for like more simple syrup or lemon juice for the drinks. They had no problem at all. We ordered the lamb ribs and calamari as our appetizers. They were tasty, I always order the lamb ribs whenever I go here, it's a must for me. However the calamari was a bit too salty. Our entree was the lamb chops and risotto. The lamb chops were cooked to our liking (medium) however they were alittle under seasoned to my liking. That's my only critique with the actual food. The dining experience was excellent like always. Not as excellent as past visits. Ambience?: In the reservation process, we requested a table away from the noise of the bar with a table desired near the kitchen. While I know tables cannot be guaranteed, I asked at check-in if the table was away from the noise of the bar area and was assured "yes". The booth/ table we were taken to was one row (about 10 feet away) from the very noisy bar area. Unfortunate. Food?: Bread service, at a $15 charge, no longer consists of a nice variety of breads, just a simple white Italian style bread. The variety of three spreads were good but being charged an additional $5 for four additional slices of bread seemed more than a bit excessive. The seafood bisque special was excellent as was the Bolognese. The halibut special was sadly overcooked to a point of being tough. The salmon, off the regular menu, was just average. Service?: Our server was pleasant, but clearly overwhelmed based on obvious short staffing levels (we were told that there were only four servers responsible for the entire dining room room this evening, as has two had preapproved time off. A request for an additional beverage, at the time the entrées had been delivered, didn't arrive until entrées had been finished and plates had been removed from the table. I had a table of 12 for Mother's Day brunch today and we paid about $75 per person when all of a sudden done. The meal was mediocre at best and the service was a big disappointment for 22% for getting us a few drinks, and two of us didn't get what they ordered. Every one of us at the table, so we'd rather go somewhere for a hot pizza than ever do this again. The music was a nice touch, but it was so loud. We could hardly hear each other. I don't complain much about restaurants but I couldn't help but add my comments because the bill is almost $1000 and everyone hated it. read more

Hate to do it, BUT went for dinner last week and it was awful! It was first time doing dinner, normally our go to brunch spot, which has always been delicious. Dinner not so much. Had I done this dinner prior to brunch I probably would not go back. Don't think I will go back for dinner, BUT brunch still a go. It could of been an off day as other tables had same complaints as us. The steaks were all coming out very well done. We ordered two at the table both medium and both came well done. ***My experience was solely as a guest for a bridal shower in an event room I was so impressed with the shower I attended here. The food was brunchy with some buffet options and an omelet station. Another great Sunday jazz brunch. I started off with a mocktail, which was a spritzer of sorts and was delicious. Coffee was great and heavy cream was brought to us by request. Not sure if it was the owner or manager, but he was floating around the floor making sure everyone was satisfied with their meals and thanking them for coming in. Our server was polite, she didn't come back to take our order until after we finished eating our appetizer. Not a big deal, because it was nice to get a little break in between the app and our dinner, but I was expecting to order sooner. Everything we ordered was very delicious and I would recommend it all! Mojito 10/10 One of the best mojitos in town, it was perfect! They have the big ditch cinnamon apple beer listed as an IPA, but it's an amber ale. Don't let that fool you!! Duck wings 9/10 Came out very quickly. I would have liked them to be like 30 seconds more crispy. The Hibiscus BBQ sauce was a good flavor and coated each wing equally. Not sure what the dipping sauce was, but it was cooling, tasted like it may have had some mint or basil in it but not sure. The combo was good together. They give you an essential oil hand towel after to wipe your sticky hands, which I was surprised to find it was an actual cloth towel. Braised natural Short rib 9/10 Tender, but maybe overcooked by just a minute. The fat was cooked down very well, and the Demi was good on it too. Cheddar Polenta 10/10 Delicious, Cheesy and great consistency. Orecchiette pasta 9/10 The chicken was so beautifully cooked. It was juicy and seasoned very well. Artichokes and tomatoes were also cooked well and the tomatoes had a really good kinda roasted flavor of their own. I would have liked the artichokes and tomatoes to be cut up a little bit smaller to make them more bite sized though. The sauce, absolutely delicious. The garlic bread was a little too hard for me, but it kinda tasted like a Parmesan cheese crisp. Crème brûlée 9/10 Custard was fantastic, smooth, great consistency. The bruleed sugar on the top was super thick. Warm Brookie a la Mode 9/10 Got this to go. This was a decent size, definitely shareable. Cookie in the middle and brownie on the outside, but it kinda rose might higher than the cookie did. A little more cookie dough to balance it out would make it a 10. Cookie was a soft chocolate chip cookie, and the brownie was a rich chocolate, a delicious combination together. The ice cream I think was supposed to be a salted caramel but it ended up being just chocolate. read more

I was here to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Jewish Community Center. It is a lovely venue with a set up bar in one room and a large dining room with at least 19 tables set with 9 place settings each. There was an appetizer table with assorted cheeses, several flavored hummuses, pita chips, and Caprese sticks. The Caprese sticks were drizzled with Balsamic vinegar, delicious. The dinner offerings were a turkey carving station with a cranberry/sour cream accompaniment , sliced roast beef oversized sliders with a delicious horseradish sauce and a veggie option, a black bean and corn "burger". There was a coffee and tea self-serve table and last, but not least, a dessert table with many cheesecake one-biters, lemon bars, mini cream puffs, and several other yummy one or two biters. The dessert table was continuously refilled. The only negative was that the air conditioning seemed to not be up to keeping a room with approximately 200 people in it, cool. read more

My first visit to Jazzboline. Celebrating 80 years of the JCC (Jewish Community Center). It is a very nice looking venue. A bar in a smaller room and a set up for all the raffles. The dining room was right next to it, with room for about 200 people. The buffet was excellent. A table with appetizers like cheeses, chips with a choice of hummuses and really good Caprese sticks. The dinner options were roast beef rolls, served with a great horseradish sauce. There was a turkey carving station with cranberry sauce. The 3rd option was vegan; a black bean and corn burger. Time for desserts! Coffee and tea and a variety of sweet treats: mini cream puffs (sooo good), lemon bars and cheese cake one biters and different one biter balls (chocolate and white chocolate). One thing missing: air conditioning. It was a warm day (almost 90) and the airco either wasn't on or could not keep up. read more

First let me say, the experience was amazing. Our server was very attentive! Food came out in a timely manner as well! This is my first time having Duck wings and when I say it didn't disappoint it literally satisfied every taste bud! I should've just ordered a bunch of these for dinner! Cause the sauce they were cooked in... words can't describe how amazing it tasted! The bbq lamb ribs i honestly didn't care for since the duck wings set the standard of taste expectation! They were good though! The sea food bisque, was on the same scale as the duck wings! The taste and flavors were perfect! I personally dislike steak and only eat my wife's steak and I could've done without it due to the taste of it! It wasnt a bbq Smoke tasted but it tasted like it was flamed im assuming. In which It didn't meet my satisfaction but I'm not a steak eater so I can't really judge the steak except I asked for med well and they definitely made it exactly like that! The green beans had a fancy name any they tasted healthy! The French fries didn't need salt or ketchup but I added some anyways but those were honestly perfect in my opinion! As like how seasoned fries taste except no seasoning but a seasoned potato! I love the fine dining and clean atmosphere they have! It was beautiful and peaceful to be in! A bunch of us were staying at the Reikart House hotel and came here one evening for drinks. While sitting at the bar we decided to try a few bites as well... their beef on weck is huge and looks so very amazing! The meat on it was tender and flavorful and so was the au jus that came on the side! Loved their housemade horseradish sauce to dip it into as well! And those fries were insanely good! Their drinks/cocktails are decent and they have a huge wine list. Service was decent. The venue is beautiful! Very nicely decorated inside this restaurant! The next two mornings we ate breakfast in the hotels dining area, which we assume is the same at this place? Either way, their breakfast menu is awesome! Loaded with many great options, whether you seek healthy or fattening and fun, they have it! Their breakfast wrap was so delicious! Their parfait was amazing too! Wanting more...We had the tuna tartar and scallops with Parmesan risotto. The tartar was OK, but just diced up tuna with a couple slices of avocado. No black sesame seeds, no aïoli or red onion, pineapple mango, nothing mixed together with the tuna. It's served with some sort of tortilla banana chip, which really wasn't that good. The scallops were seared perfectly and tasted great. However, the Parmesan risotto was lacking...Parmesan!Overall, the seasoning was quite bland. I think we'll try it again, but it certainly won't be a go to. read more

I was at Jazzboline's as part of a group of 5 for a business dinner. It was NFL draft night and the bar was jumping, but we were able to grab a beer pretty quickly before meeting up with the rest of our group. We started the meal with a couple of appetizers... the breads and spreads and the charcuterie board. I enjoyed the green garbanzo hummus and the cranberry feta and loved the tiny red peppers that looked like miniature tomato's. My Orecchette pasta was very good. I enjoyed the mix of chicken, artichoke, tomato and fresh basil. I am not a huge fan of goat cheese, but it blended well in the dish although I found it just a bit saltier than I would like. The rest of the table had mixed reviews for their entrees. With the Wild Game Bolognese and the Salmon getting praise from my coworkers, while the two Filets served were tasty but overcooked. The side of Lobster Mac and Cheese was delicious. We had a dessert which was a warm brownie/cookie with a scoop of chocolate cream which was very good. I was there on a Saturday night with a party of four people. It took a little time for them to take our drink order. There were employees working there that couldn't understand English. It was interesting trying to get them to fill up our water. I informed my waitress that I was on a low sodium diet and she said she would tell the cooks not to add salt to my food. When the waitress came over and we ordered dinner, we waited more than a half an hour for our dinners to come out. I got the salmon. They did comply with the low sodium. Unfortunately, It was very dry and overcooked. I told the waitress that my salmon was overcooked and I'd like a new one. She said no problem. That'll be about 20 minutes. 20 minutes? By the time I got the second piece of salmon, my friends were done eating. They had to basically sit there and watch me eat mine. What's worse, the salmon was dry again, and they salted it heavily before they cooked it. Ridiculous! I didn't have the heart to say anything, so I just ate it. At that point I was very hungry... I didn't wanna make a scene. I should have. We should have never paid for that. Not for that price... That was my one and done. read more

Everyone but 2 of us received diner on time... granted it was a Monday night and perhaps the head chef was not working? The two in our party received our meal cold then had had to return it... then received our meal at the end of everyone else finished with their meal... the manager was very gracious and apologized... so very happy about that... but need to fix the kitchen problem... Group of 8, we were seated immediately at 5pm. Our server, Sarah was amazing. She was so helpful and so attentive. The kitchen was struggling. We had fish that wasn't cooked, didn't get some dishes. The food was absolutely tasty when cooked completed and given. Steak was amazing!!!! Fish and blueberry risotto was delicious. Would definitely go back for the food and service, just hope the kitchen had their stuff together. Management did come to the table a few times and comped our desserts. Which was so nice. We're no strangers to Jazzboline, especially for brunch. I was excited to come here today as an early celebration. I hope today is not an indication of what to expect during future experiences. Not only did it take a long time for a server to make the initial check-in, the service was underwhelming. My drink order--which took a small eternity to get--was wrong and very watered down. The cinnamon roll we ordered had a very dry shell that made cutting a workout. My meal was over-toasted, with the meat inching up to being overcooked. I felt like the woman in the SNL skit shaking the table the way I needed force to cut through my English muffin. Today was a disappointment, and I hope this is not the norm moving forward. read more

Food came out quite quickly but it was clear the potatoes and quiche were popped into a microwave to heat. Ate 1/2 because I was hungry and it was edible. Went here for a business dinner with seven others. It was a Thursday evening, so they had live music, which made it a bit tricky to hear each other. It was beautiful inside and while I did find the chairs comfortable at the high-top tables, they were very difficult to push in. (The waitress acutally asked me if I wanted a push - hahaha). As for the food, it was decent. I felt it was overly pricey and nothing quite struck my fancy. The salmon was cooked perfectly, but I didn't care for the flavor profile of the dish - grapefruit topping and bok choy that was difficult to cut. Glad that we tried some desserts. The bread pudding feature was chocolate cherry. I'm a sucker for dried cherries so I was happy to find it loaded with them. Not sure I will come back here as the dinner menu didn't excite me much. Saturday nights from 1800-2100, live jazz is played. I had the rare opportunity to be kid-free so I took advantage. I arrived a little after 1900, which was perfect. I only had to wait a few moments for a seat at the bar, where I could enjoy the music and not take up a whole table just for me. I think my bartender's name was Sophie and she was both friendly and attentive. She made a delicious Sazerac cocktail and gave me the choice of an orange peel or a cherry. The Fritto Misto (not pictured) arrived with a heavy aroma of seafood (not very appetizing) but it was hot & crispy, and I really enjoyed the aioli. My original plan was to enjoy a Dock Jams Beermosa with my Fritto Misto, but once I spotted the Sazarac Rye Whiskey, I knew I had to order a Sazerac cocktail. I thought it odd that the creme brulee arrived dusted in powdered sugar but the sugar was perfectly bruleed and the strawberry pieces added just enough contrast. While it was a pricey evening dining solo, I enjoyed the music and the atmosphere. Checking in gave me a Yelp perk but sadly it's only valid Sunday through Thursday. The Chocolate cake with raspberry mousse and vanilla ice cream was wonderful for my Birthday even with a lighted candle! My friend had The hamburger which was terrific!! After many years have passed, my girlfriend wanted to meet here for brunch and so I obliged. It was a great time! The ambience is still very chic! Brunch is 10-2. Now, online it said the jazz band stopped at 1 but I showed up at 1:05 and it still played well into our service. They were great. Their menus are now electronic (on a tablet). You swipe through the different menus. You click the name of something and you can see the description and picture of the meal. I ordered the cherry sparkler (I think that's the name) as a cocktail and the sunrise flatbread for my meal. The cocktail had the perfect amount of alcohol to give me that happy but functional feeling I was looking for. The flatbread was AWESOMEEEEEE!!!! I would absolutely order that again. It was very filling too. The sauce they put on it was *chefs kiss* We enjoyed almost 2 1/2 hours catching up. They didn't make us feel rushed or make us leave. Of course, we did leave when they began vacuuming our area to clean up for dinner service. Service was wonderful. Very friendly and kept our waters full too. No complaints today! My sister and brother in law took my mother and I to the Jazzboline for a Christmas brunch. The hospitality is great from worker holding the door for my mother who is handicapped and the Jazz players in the front. Very clean place. The food we had was very tasty and fresh. We had a bottle of good wine that was very smooth and tasty on the palette. Two thumbs up to our servers who were very friendly and helpful. I love meeting friends here for drinks or taking out of town guests here for dinner. Classy yet comfortable and sure to impress. Great service and friendly staff. A little pricier than some places but you get your moneys worth in ambiance. I was there on a Friday night and we enjoyed the pianist very much. The place was mostly empty when I arrived a few minutes before 5pm. I wanted to get a bite before my friend arrived so I wouldn't be drinking on an empty stomach. I love coming here for happy hour with my coworkers. Miguel is our favorite bartender because he truly makes the best drinks I've ever had. I no longer drink but there are several mocktails on the menu and Miguel will always surprise me with some kind of amazing mocktail up his sleeve. The cocktails are also so aesthetically pleasing and delicious so I love watching my coworkers order all the different drinks available. The food continues to just get even better as well. We loved the ahi tuna tacos, the duck wings, the brussel sprouts, and the truffle tots. We could absolutely get all of them again! read more

I came here with my husband for my birthday dinner. I had made reservations earlier, though they turned out to be unnecessary on a Monday night. We were sat immediately at a nice table, far away from other diners. We really enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere inside the restaurant. The place is so well kept and put together. Our water came to give us water and see what else we wanted to drink. I ordered a mocktail and my husband his usual Johnny Walker Red. It was a little on the pricey side, but hey, we knew we'd be paying out the nose to have dinner here. I ordered lamb because our waiter said they had it, despite it not being on the menu. He eventually came back and informed me that they were out of it. Panicked, I ordered the scallops because a. I like scallops and b. I also wanted to try the risotto as well, which it came with. We didn't have to wait long for our food. I adored what I got. My husband had gotten the fish dinner and wasn't overly impressed. I loved the risotto and the scallops were nice and tender but not rubbery. I took some home and it was still delicious the next day. So, if you really want to impress someone or it's your wife's birthday, I recommend this restaurant. The price tag will be high, but the food's really nice and the ambience is lovely. read more

We were scolded by the waiter and told they had to add another table. This required an elderly friend of ours to get up and move her seat then we were all too spread out. after we received our food, we noticed the portions were extremely small. I had the salmon and it was on a tasteless bed of what appeared to be cold couscous. Several at our table mentioned that the food was very bland and overpriced.
